"Easy. EASY!" Nami said. The straw hat pirates were carrying Zoro inside their boat, hoping they could keep him alive. Miyu was holding one of his legs, Nami helping her. Usopp carried his head while Luffy held his torso area. "where's the first aid kit?" Usopp asked "We don't have any!" Miyu shouted "calm down!" Usopp yelled while he dug through the ship "How can I calm down when someone is dying infront of me?" She snapped.

"Someone needs to go to Baratie" Nami told the captain "Uh, I'm not hungry right now, Nami" Luffy stared at Zoros body "Not for food! Maybe one of the customers is a ships doctor"  Luffy went out of the ship to find a doctor "come one Zoro" Miyu grabbed the cloth and placed it on his wound, helping the bleeding a little bit.

Luffy came back with the Chef and Sanji "are you kidding? he needs a doctor" Nami said "Do you want to save this swords man friend or not?" The guy with the braided beard asked, Miyu took off the cloth from his chest so the chef can look at it.

Sanji put down the basket on the counter and took out what was inside of it. Knives, Fish and a whiskey bottle. "Beautiful"  he rubbed his hand on the fish, he then cut the fishes head off and started to cut small, thin, piece off of the fishes grey skin. "Needle" Sanji handed the guy a needle, he started to stitch the wound up "fish skin" Sanji gave him the thin slice, the chef put it on top of the stitches, like a bandaid.

"this is an old seamans trick. The fish skin helps staunch the wounds and heals the flesh a lot faster." The old man explained  "Is he gonna be okay?" Usopp worried "Look, I'm not gonna lie to you. He's lost a lot of blood.. It might be to late for him." Miyu sighed and bit her lip, if he dies she might quit being a pirate.

"But it might not be" Luffy spoke up "He's got one foot in each world right now, caught in between life and death. You have to find a way to keep him tethered to our world. Talk to him. Tell him stories. Sing him sea shanties for all I care. He might not reply, but atleast he still knows his crew are still with him" 

After the chef left, they all decided to put Zoro in Miyu's room to rest since her room was the best looking one and Miyu was the first to volunteer. "Are you sure you're gonna be okay?" Nami asked by the door frame "Yeah, shut the door when you go out please" Nami looked at her for a few seconds and nodded, she shut the door.

Miyu stared at Zoro, a few tears falling from her dark eyes. "Hey Zoro.." She smiled "I know you probably won't here this but um... chef told us to tell you stories so I'll tell you mine and why I wanted to become a pirate.... I never told anyone this other than you so keep this a secret would ya?" Miyu put her hand on his cold hand, she took a deep breath and started to talk about her story.

"Growing up was hard with my Mom being a Marine and my Dad being a Pirate. We never got to see each other as much as I would have liked, but it was okay because atleast I saw my mom... even if it was for a few minutes." She smiled. She remembers breaking into the Marine base with her father and sneaked to see her mom.

"One day we got caught and um, they gave my mother a decision. The two options were either keep your job but never see us or lose your job and get us killed. She chose the first option.. that's why I'm alive at this very moment." She rubbed her thumb on his hand for comfort, she scooted her chair closer to him.

"I didn't see her in years, I was growing up and learned how to use a sword by my father and grandma for protection in case the marines would attack us again, they didn't...." She gulped "I remember the day my father left to go on the sea... I will never forget that moment.."

FLASHBACK

"Papa I wanna join!" six year old Miyu begged her pirate dad, his sword in his hand as he walked "No Mimi, it's too dangerous. Stay here with your grandma" He told her without looking at her, since they were walking "No! I wanna be a pirate like you papa! I can use swords! Look!" She spun her small sword in a perfect cirlce "Careful with that, you almost hit me" Her dad laughed, he turned around and kneeled in front of his daughter. 

"Honey, you need to stay here okay?" He put his big arms on her small shoulders "It's dangerous. I don't want you to get hurt.. Here" He handed her his sword that was too big for her "Keep this to remember me while I'm gone."  Miyu grabbed the sword, it fell on the ground though since it was heavy "oopsie! But pa it's too big! And you don't have a sword no more!" Her dad chuckled "We can trade" He took her small sword from her hand "But- you can't use that silly!" She tapped his nose with her index finger "Oh I can and will"  Miyu gave him a toothy smile, even though three of her baby teeth were gone because she fell a day before.

"now, Mimi, stay here, okay? I'll be back very soon. Be a good girl." Ichigo got up and walked on to his ship "No no no!" Miyu grabbed his brown pants, stopping him "when I grow up I will be the Queen of the Pirates! And the best swords woman you'll ever meet!" Miyu confidently yelled, he laughed "I'm sure you will." He ruffled her short black hair, then he walked away in the sunset.

"Pss" Miyu looked behind her where her grandma stood "do you really want to go on the ship with him?" the old woman asked "yes! Oh grandma please! PLease!!!"  The grandma pointed to the ship "then go. Follow your dreams, be careful though." Miyu smiled, she ran and hugged her Grandma's legs since she was short. "Oh thank you!" The grandma smiled "don't forget your sword" Miyu dragged the sword to the ship, luckily there was a small door on the ship that lead to crates and boxes, it was like a storage room. Miyu went inside it, she first placed her sword down on the floor and then grabbed an red shiny apple that was in a box. She ate it while sitting down on the floor, playing with her red dress.

"And then I heard these horrible sounds. Sounds that still play in my head like a merry-go-round."

"what was that?" Miyu quietly said when she woke up from sleeping, she rubbed her eyes and got up from the wooden floor. Loud sounds of cannons, yelling in pain, screaming were coming from up the boat. Miyu was scared, she ran back to the box where her sword was nearby. Eventually everything went silent. 

Miyu took her chance and walked up the ladder, up to the main area. She tripped on a body, she looked down at the man who had red liquid coming from his mouth "papa!" She yelled for her family " PAPA!" She screamed louder when she saw everyone who was on the ground laying dead "PAPA!!!" She cried out, she felt a hand hold on her bare ankle, she looked down and saw her dad.

She fell to the floor, his chest had three cuts on his chest, full of blood. "wh...why are y..you here?" He asked slowly "I wanted to be here with you. I don't want to be alone" She put her dad's head on her lap while she moved the bloody strains of hair from his face "honey, get off this ship.. ba..bad people are here." He explained "NO! Not until you get your butt up!" She yelled at him "I.. I can't.." 

Loud footsteps came from behind Miyu "Well well well... look what we have"  A deep voice said, Miyu looked behind her where a dark male with a pirate hat on was standing, his fingers had claws coming out. "Who are you!" Miyu loudly asked "I'm from the black cats pirates." He informed her, he licked his claws from his hand with his tounge "and you'll end up like Ichigo. All bloody and will begging for mercy" He took closer steps to the girl "what are you doing! Stay back!" She was scared, she didn't know what to do. "I'm going to kill you, little girl." He held his hand up high in the sky, he tried to scratch her but no, a gun was shot. It came from Ichigo.

"Pa!!"  Her attention was now on him "L..listen..." He spoke up "I'm not gon..gonna make it... honey I'm sorry..." Miyu tilted her head "What? to find the treasure? Of course you won't! You're going home!" She tried to carry him up, failing to do so. "Mimi listen to me.. I've failed you as a father and I'm sorry for that... forgive me"  He looked at Miyu eyes "no you didn't fail me pa! I'm a strong girl!" 

"When I go away... promise me one thing." Miyu nodded her head "I promise you" She put her pinky finger around his bloody one "You will try to find your mother, I know she's waiting for you somewhere. I want you to be brave, kind and never give up. Promise me you'll be a strong woman, the greatest swordsman and queen of pirates." Miyu shook her head up and down "Yes! Yes! I will be brave pa I promise you" 

Another man walked on the boat "s..shanks. Please take her with you.. take her somewhere safe." Ichigo looked up, Miyu followed his gaze. There was a tall man who had a straw hat on, he had very bright red hair "You can trust me. Come on Miyu" Shanks went to grab Miyu, "NO!" Miyu tried to escape Shanks, but couldn't. Miyu hugged her dying father's leg before Shanks took her away. "Please let me get my sword from down there!" Miyu pointed to the storage, Shanks went and grabbed it for her...

"and um... yeah. that's my life." Miyu wiped her tears "I can't let you die. I just can't." She stood up from the chair "i'll be here waiting for you.." She leaned down and pressed a soft kiss on his forehead, she then left the room to get fresh air outside.

"Hey gorgeous I made some food..." he trailed off when Miyu walked past him and out the door that led outside. The breeze blew in her face and dried her wet face. "Hey there" Sanji came besides her "how ya feeling?" He asked her "Not good" She sighed, she looked in the waters movement. "It'll be okay. He'll be okay. He's going to make it" Sanji reassured her "No, hes not and It's my fault." she started to cry again "it's not your fault, don't blame yourself on it" 

Miyu looked at him "Yes it is. I should have stopped him. I could've. Now hes in my bed dying just like my father did. It's always my fault." Sanji put his arms around her, hugging the sad woman "I'm just so tired losing the ones I care about" She cried in his chest, Sanji rubbed her back "it'll be okay." He whispered. 

After some time of crying on Sanji -who didn't mind- Miyu moved away "better?" He asked her, she chucked "yeah, a bit." She wiped her nose "Now do you want some food?" Miyu smiled "yes" she walked inside the ship again, smelling the food he made
