Jhope pov

Jhope was restless the whole weekend. He doesn't really understand why he felt so unsettled.All the luggage was in the lounge, and they were waiting patiently for the staff to come and fetch them. Jin and Samiya made an early breakfast for the boys. Jin -Hyung was a little sad when Samiya had to leave for India to go and judge a pageant.

Yesterday they had a Korean BBQ at the tennis court. Hobi didn't participate in the tennis games. He wasn't feeling well. A strange feeling of nervousness accompanied his nausea. During the night, his stomach was again unsettled, and his soul mark was heavily acting out.

Sleeping was difficult for him, disturbing dreams about Hanbin marrying his soulmate plagued him. The unbearable pain of the soulmark caused him to wake up three times during the night. The area around the mark was inflamed.

Namjoon found him 2 am in the softly illuminated lounge reminiscing about the system's unfair treatment of him. The severity of the burn made him aware of his intended string, and his heart was racing with fear. Can he manage Tokyo with his soulmate?

At that time of the morning, he and Namjoon had a serious conversation.

-Early that morning-

The sight of Jhope stretched out on the chair with his arms covering his eyes completely surprised Namjoon.

"Hobi?" Namjoon asked as he stood in front of him. Jhope turned slowly to look at his brother. Jhope's red-rimmed eyes cause Namjoon to frown in concern. Jhope seems so distressed. He was very quiet yesterday, Saturday, after confronting Samiya about what had happened in his office. She sent him to his office after he searched for his black waist bag with his cell phone and keys. He knew she had taken it either on purpose or by accident. She apologized continuously.

The sight of his soulmates half-naked body made him restless and made him have trouble sleeping. Even though he was fuming, he had to accept that Samiya might not know his soulmate status.

As he looked up at Namjoon, he smiled tiredly.

"Oh, hi, Joonie. Is it already morning?" he glanced at the clock on the wall.

"Yes , I woke up early to work on a melody... but I couldn't sleep so I retreated to get some hot milk. Are you OK?" he asked, seated next to Jhope, who had stretched out on a sitting position.

"Joonie...I'm not OK. I'm tired of being afraid" Hobi sounded a bit defeated. "I don't know what's wrong with me. As a result, I'm constantly mad and temperamental. I hurt everyone I care about. Joonie, this is not me, "he pleaded, his voice strained.

Namjoon furrows his brow, " I've observed you the whole three weeks after your birthday. There was an instant change in your personality. We all think it was the stress and pressure of your Mixtape...but -"

"I knew that savaged cat wouldn't keep it for himself... OK...Tell me, and I'm all ears," he said. He hoped it had nothing to do with Akira.

"Well, given your mental and emotional state, I believe you have a phobia," Namjoon said softly as Jhope looked at him with raised eyebrows.

Jhope shrieked in surprise, "A phobia for what?". he thought that was crazy.

"Listen...it's a real fear. You have Philophobia; you exhibit all the symptoms." Namjoon is a seasoned know-it-all.

"What is Philophobia?" he asked, astonished. He had not heard of this word.

Looking him in the eyes, Namjoon stood up rapidly. "Philophobia is an overbearing and unreasonable fear of falling in love, and it is so extreme that it interferes with your life. Just look at what you have gone through, and it has changed little things about you."

As Jhope looked at him surprised, "So me being afraid to fall in love again or to be in a relationship is a condition called philophobia?'

"Pretty much...not just emotionally but also physically. We all know about that intern who hurt you so much, and for almost five years, you didn't hook up with any girls...You avoid them when it seems they want you...You feel nauseous all the time...Anytime you sense your soulmate, do you feel worried, or do you experience breathing difficulties?" Namjoon raised an eyebrow looking at him inquiring.

Jhope nodded sheepishly and narrowed his eyes as he thought for a moment. "Oh my gosh, yes, yeah. Nobody understands why I've felt like this for years, and not even my family or friends understood. Why?" He asked. It's like he's irrationally afraid of Bonding, and Bonding is getting into a relationship, and it scares him to death.

Namjoon sat next to Jhope again and said to him, "Hobi love is one of the most beautiful and amazing parts of life, but it can also be frightening. While some apprehension is normal, some find love terrifying, like you, due to the devastation caused by the betrayal of someone you loved for years. You're afraid your soulmate will do the same, and your relationship might not last. I hope you'll give it a try. Remember that you have to go at your own pace...first, let her know you care for her. Do little things for her. It's obvious that she already loves you, but you're the blind bat, and she's emotionally wounded by your refusal to complete the bond. As Jhope's face turned to Joon suddenly, he said, "Wow! She...loves me? Joon...I...I don't think I deserve her..and even if I did, I'm still terrified of becoming emotionally connected to someone. Jhope's voice cracked into a whisper when he realized her dating Hanbin would hurt him. His genuine love for her shows in the way he treats her. He saw it clearly on Friday. Even if he was already falling for her, he couldn't tell her. Maybe after the completion if they are blue or red. A big maybe.

As Jhope stood up from the sofa and looked at Joon, his eyes filled with sadness and determination, " I've decided Joon, I'm letting her go free after the completion...she gave me the power of choice, and I'm giving her the same... I'll stop being selfish, she deserves to be happy, and I'm tired of this Soulbound crap!" he turned around, trying to go fall asleep again.

He grabbed his arm and looked at him with a serious look, "Trust me..your soulmate has only eyes for you. Complete the bond and see...you will be delighted.".

He just shook his head, "I'm scared...Joon. A new bond terrifies me more than that "Annabel" horror movie."I'll see you later... thanks for the talk." After that, he turned around and rushed down to his suite, as his ankle was beginning to burn. Namjoon watched after his Hyung, hoping the trip would bring him happiness.

Management decided to fly the boys in a bigger charter and to adjust the time. The flight will take off at 2 pm. The dancers, junior managers, makeup crew, and TV production crew will leave for business class at 10 am.

Press and media representatives flocked to the agency to glimpse the Bangtan Boys and their staff, and they hadn't yet arrived. The foyer of the agency was filled with the team of the first flight.

Afonso and Kenichi couldn't control their excitement as they looked super excited. Kenichi is more excited about the prospect of returning to their country of origin. Atsumi, his best friend from the orphanage, is still in his memory. He wonders if she has been adopted. She was so timid and scared of everything, and she had been abused all her life.

As the group drove to the agency to pick up some of the managers, the vans were filled with luggage from the band. Hanbin decided to fetch Kenichi and Akira at the airport in Incheon a few hours ago because Kenichi would be flying the earlier flight. Before dropping Kenichi off in Seoul to ride together with the rest of the backup dancers and their Noonas, he decided to leave Akira at Do-Yun apartment. Do-Yun wanted to spend a few hours with Akira before they both left for the airport. Incheon Airport is about 9 minutes away from her home in a small apartment complex in Yeong-Jongdo. Seoul is only one and a half hours away.

Kenichi was dropped at the underground parking, and Ms Cheong was picked up to ride with him to the airport, then Hanbin returned to Incheon to pick up Do-Yun and Akira.

-Earlier-

Your morning was filled with excitement and anticipation when you and Kenichi woke up. It's nice that your mom gave you the address of the orphanage so that you can go and visit your old "home mother", maybe even learn about your Japanese foster parents. Because you were five years old when you came to the orphanage, you don't remember where you lived. Hopefully, you will find answers to your questions, and the night terrors will finally go away.

After spending the whole Sunday afternoon with your parents, Keitaro decided to take the bus back to Korea University on Monday morning.

The Chanel travel bags are packed, and you wear skinny blue jeans, a white shirt, and your royal blue blazer. You wear a silk scarf as well. Your soulmate left visible marks that you had to "doctored" into invisibility. It is pretty chilly in Japan today but mild in Seoul. You also packed warm clothes and sleepwear.

As early as this morning, your parents booked you and Kenichi a quick flight to Seoul. Hanbin offered to pick you up at the airport. It will be too early for you and Kenichi to wait for more than four hours for the rest of the Bangtan staff to arrive. Do-Yun asked him to drop you off at her small apartment near the airport.

He can then come and pick both of you up a few hours before her flight with the rest of the crew at 10 am. A charter flight makes you a little apprehensive. You've never flown in a private aircraft before, and it will be an exciting experience. Yoongi told you that Funsize and Twinkies would be on the same flight, which made you feel less nervous. Still, being so close for about three hours makes you feel uncomfortable for at most 3 hours. The rest of the staff, including the managers and choreographers, will travel on Korean Air in business or first class.

You were looking forward to being on the business flight with the medic team and dancers. That would have been so exciting and fun. You've also seen how chaotic the Bangtan boys can be on flights. Byron and Sarah are so excited for you and asked you to text them and let them know about everything. Her inquiries include your flight, information about Suga, photos of your hometown, and your hotel stay.

On Wednesday, Samiya will be in Tokyo, and she will judge a beauty contest in India on Tuesday evening. Poor Jin. Over the weekend, she had to reassure her clingy soulmate that she would soon join them.

You had a great time with Do-Yun after Hanbin dropped you off. She has a tiny but cosy apartment, and she has an open plan kitchen with a cute L-shaped couch in the living room. She was extremely friendly and conversed with you in English.

Do-Yin grinned happily, "I would love to have you visit me anytime. "She was delighted to have you in her humble abode.
She offered you coffee and chocolate chip cookies courtesy of Eric, your paramedic. When he visited his family in the USA, he brought it back with him. There are a lot of cookies at work, so you can indulge when you have tea with her.

Although you talked about your life in London, you didn't mention your soulmate status. As she saw your sadness, she knew it was a sensitive subject for you.

While sipping your creamy latte, you ask, "Are you in a relationship?".

Her gaze was sad as she slipped a strand of hair behind her ear gently. The past was painful for her.

When she told you her story, you were stunned. "Oh my
goodness...I'm so sorry, Do-Yun, that is so sad!"

"It was my fault, "she mused, "I knew he was a late whisperer, but we still fell in love...a month after our breakup, I learned I was pregnant with Ari, my now three-year-old daughter."

Your eyes widen. "Wow, you have a daughter...where is she?"

As Do- Yun's eyes shone with love, she said, "With my Eomma..in Dong-gu, she stays there during the week and I get alternate weekends. We aren't enemies. Her Appa and his girlfriend love her a lot, and he's a very involved dad. She doesn't feel lonely. Our daughter is our priority. Eomma is the owner of a ceramic shop. One weekend I'll take you to visit her since Appa died a few years ago. I am 30 and single. I will date after 35, but I don't think I will ever get married."

As you smile, she at least seems to have a plan, "You are independent. I wanted to be Tarnished, free from the Soulbound-dramas."

She laughed loudly. "Oh, I heard you have a thing for our Sunshine, Jhope! "You spew away the last of the coffee in your mouth, almost choking on it. What?!

Do-Yun grinned and handed you a towel. At least you didn't mess yourself up.

You looked up in shock, "W...where did you get that lie from?".

"I overheard two interns talking about it in the staff kitchen, one saying that Thera was lusting after Jhope, and I instinctively knew it was you...how you apparently begged Suga to hire you...but everyone knew it was bullfrogs!! ! Yoongi told Hanbin that he begged you to work for him exclusively...but the Jhope part was weird...maybe she saw him looking at you. Pure jealousy?" She explained.

There was no doubt in your mind that it was that hateful Dove. You also know that Jhope still might have feelings for her until your bond and strings are set.

"No...I have no relationship with Jhope...my soulmate status is somewhat complicated. I may have to tell you soon...I might find myself in your situation." You softly replied. But with Sunshine, you don't know what to expect. He makes you very confused.

He may avoid you from now on after your hot make-out session and seeing you practically naked. But, gosh, his sensuality hits home with you 1000%. It would've been in both of your best interests to stay away from each other after the bond. Unfortunately, if you yellow string, he won't even want to be your friend, and without completion, you will be stuck loving him until you die from heart failure.

You received a call from Hanbin informing you that he had arrived and was waiting for you downstairs. You helped Do-Yun with her luggage and met Hanbin in the foyer.

Hanbin looks at your flustered face with utter affection. As you smiled at him, you felt saddened that you had to fly with the superstars. You know your soulmate will be stoic, which is so unlike him. The Army has already noticed his demeanour. He simply smiled, and he seemed concerned and worried.

Cheong-Unnie was sitting in the passenger seat, smiling brightly at the two of you. Both of you bowed in respect and took a seat in the back.

The entire 9-minute ride was relaxing. Due to their similar ages, Do -Yun and Ms Cheong seemed to have a good relationship.

You kept your parents and friends Byron and Sarah in the loop by texting them.

While the rest of your party went inside the airport, Bangtan posed for the media outside. Ms Cheong told you a day before that Yoongi will need you on the flight, and he has been experiencing discomfort over the weekend.

In recent days, everything Yoongi says and does is making you question its authenticity. Those outside the circle were kept unaware that it was a front for Jhope and you to be near each other.

Jhope was very emotionless, and Bangtan laughed when Sejin told him Akira, and he must complete their bond on the flight.

Hyungs and maknaes found his whole expression humorous.

"As hell will I do that nonsense," he grumbled as they walked with their hand luggage through the airport.

The grin in Jin's cheeks deepened as he watched Jhope's scrunched face. "BangPD wants the evidence today, Hobi..."

"I'll do it if and when I am ready to die," said Jhope sarcastically to Jin.

Yoongi seethed. "Hobi...why are you so difficult?" He demanded while walking behind Jhope and Jin.

"It's easy for you to say...why must I complete the bond in front of you as idiot witnesses...you know how painful it is. It's the pain of completion, and another round of pain after the bond settles. I'm going to sleep the whole flight, though, and I'm, and I'm exhausted. Bang, PD will understand." Jhope said agitatedly to the two Hyungs. Now that Namjoon told him about his phobia, he understands his emotions better.

As Hobi moved past them to fall behind Namjoon and chat with him, Yoongi shook his head and looked at Jin.

Yoongi sighed, "Hobi needs a reality check. He is so in love with Akira, but he is in denial."

Jin grinned widely, "Don't worry, Jimin will not let us down. I just regret that Hanbin won't be with us."

"I told Sejin to separate him and Akira. Hobi might not be able to stay quiet too long. Let's subtly use Jimin. We don't want him to break during the flight." Yoongi smiled slyly. Jin burst out in his windshield laughter. They were going to have so much fun.

All of them reach the private airport first-class lounge.

Their soulmates are already enjoying a snack. Me Cheong, Akira and their nurse sat with Twinkies and Funsize.

The Bangtan boys were having a great time near their soulmates. Their soulmates were discreetly conversing with Yoongi and Taehyung.

The first flight to Tokyo will take off at 11h. All the bodyguards were watching over the boys and crew in the lounge. Kenichi and Afonso were with Akira. Hanbin, too, was all over y/n, to everyone's amusement and Jhope's irritation.

Yoongi sat with Jimin in the lounge. As they watched Jhope's expression when Hanbin became too much, they laughed.

"Is it necessary to constantly touch her?"Jhope inquired dryly.

Yoongi grins, "Well, I heard our manager can't wait to hear back from Akira. He has already asked her out."

Jhope's eyes widen in shock. "What?"

"You may remember I told you few days ago that Akira is ready to give up on you. She informed my girl on Friday that she was through waiting for her soulmate. She is just waiting for her soulmates' permission, then she will date Hanbin...and possibly marry him." The Hyung watching their conversation was surprised at the different emotions that were displayed on their sunshine face. Jimin fought hard not to snort when Yoongi kept a straight face while knowingly making Jhope's blood boil.

Jhope inhaled deeply as he locked his jaws, deeply affected by the news. Jin gestured discreetly to Yoongi to not infuriate him, but Yoongi just smiled and nodded. No response came from Namjoon, and Jhope is going through a lot at the moment.

Jhope eyes narrowed in disbelief as he stared at Hanbin's evident love up gaze on his oblivious soul mate. The two of them only briefly locked eyes and since then have tried to ignore each other.

Akira pov

It was apparent to you that Jhope was overwhelmed by his emotions as he avoided your gaze. His feelings were laced with feelings of agitation, irritation, and fury. Why did he feel that way? Was it your presence?

Tears welled up in your eyes. The overwhelming pain in your heart caused you to jump up and tell the girls you needed the restroom.

Do-Yun gave you a quick hug as she and the rest of the crew had to board in a few minutes. Your heart sank as you feared that the 2h25 minute flight would prove to be the most awkward experience of your life. It appeared that Jhope hated your presence. You're glad you brought your iPad too.

You felt your soulmate's eyes following you when you left the group and went to the restroom.

You began to cry softly in the cubicle as you let go of your repressed pain. Why can't you have true happiness with your soulmate? How come? What is Jhope doing to you? You have subtly expressed your affection for him, and you kissed him with all your love, for goodness sake. It shows how much you need him and wants him.

Using a wet wipe, you removed the tear-streaked smudges from your eyes. You took out your makeup bag and reapplied some powder on your red, flushed skin. Apply a little lip gloss to your small mouth and mascara to your lashes. Despite your slightly red-rimmed eyes, you just shrugged and felt good about how you looked.

When you entered the lounge again, you glanced at Jhope briefly, knowing he had tapped into your emotions. Right now, you don't care about the calculating look on his face, and it is he who has caused all the pain you have experienced so far in Seoul.

Your job will be to take care of Yoongi, to enjoy your free time with the "soulmates," when their men do not occupy them, and also to take Hanbin into your confidence and let him explore and find the orphanage with you. Show him where you attended your previous school.

Hyungs were all smiles, and the other clueless maknaes were wondering what had them so amused. Namjoon could only sigh at the chaotic group around them. They have been busy working on Jhope's patience, and he is now frightened that their Sunshine will flip, and his expression already indicated his annoyance.

With the Korean Air flight 304, the production crew, some managers, the medic team, and 20 backup crew members were going to Tokyo. The group was extremely excited about the trip. Do- Yun, Kenichi, Afonso and Hanbin hugged you once again, and you waved sadly as they left for the boarding gates.

You were dragged to the other side of the lounge area by Funsize and Twinkies as they linked their arms with yours. Some of the Bangtan boys' eyes were following you three from the other side.

"Oh great! now we can be alone!" Funsize sat down on the lounge chair across from you. Her cuteness made you smile. Taehyung's eyes are always on her because she's so adorable. As Twinkies sat next to you, she held a newspaper in her hand."Let's see what is happening in South Korea today. Oh my!!! More defections from the North. Boring!! Oh...wow. Our Sunshine made the Entertainment and the cover of the Daily."

As you gaze at his picture on the front page, your eyes widen. Funsize jumped up and stood next to Twinkies as he read about his Mixtape. Luckily for him, the mix tape was a worldwide success. The boys already had a conference call with Bangpd to hear about the fantastic news. Jhope was thrilled with the news. There are a few artists who have already contacted the agency about collaborating with him. Rappers RM and Suga kept talking about his dominance of the charts as a solo artist. Jhope was delighted.

You and the girls talked mainly about the Mixtape. Slyly, they were trying to figure out if you bought and downloaded his songs. You blushed and nodded timidly. Right then and there, you instinctively know that these Bells know about your sad soulmate status.

You looked narrow-eyed at the two who sat with big smiles and said, "Come on...you know about us, don't you?"

"Uh, um...?" Twinkies stammered, not wanting to lie to her new friend.

Grimaced and looking at both of them in the eye, you replied, "Just like you, I figured you might be the Bells. I saw the boys' attitude toward you. Funsize is "V" soulmate, and you, my dear Twinkies, are Yoongi's very sly cat, that I would like to slowly murder!" The girls were shocked at your accurate deductions. You could just nod and promise to keep it a secret. Also, you discovered that Samiya is Jin's soulmate. One of your bias wreckers.

"Now that the secrets are out, I would like to know when you and Jhope will complete the bond. Hobi is as scared as a cat and more stubborn than a mule!" Funsize said as she peeked over her shoulder at Hobi and the boys, giving a discreet wink to Taehyung.

With a soft voice, you inhaled audibly and said, "I don't know...he must make up his mind. He gives me so many mixed signals...it seems I will have to move on after the Bonding. I feel that I don't stand a chance...not with a beautiful ex like Dove nearby." You feel so sad that you wish to cry in secret, and you are tired of feeling so emotional. Sensed that your soulmate was tapping into your emotions, you tried to be happy so that he would not notice.

Twinkies grumble," I hate that intern...she is all over him...now that he is wealthy and affluent, he broke up with her a week ago...So, do not worry about that witch!!" Even Funsize looks savaged.

"Funsize!!! You heard your soulmate: I'll have him blame it on me and Samiya's influence. He thinks you're Miss innocent!" You giggle at Twinkie's shocked expression and Funsize's unbothered face. You're going to have so much fun with these two lassies.

"Hmph!!! he is the last one to talk...he deflowered me during their Bon Voyage season so,..no more Miss Innocence for me?' She uttered calmly, well aware of the shocked looks on your faces. My gosh!!!

You and Twinkies stared at each other in shock. Twinkies whispered, "Oh my goodness, Funsize...I should have known about that...your sly...freaking mouse. You know everything about me?".

"I was adamant that he wouldn't touch me again... that's why I didn't come to the Bangtan Mansion for three weeks...I thought he had knocked me up!" Funsize laughs.

Upon seeing Twinkies' astonished, betrayed face, you sniffle a loud snort." I thought it was that best friend of yours doing... There was Tae, who was inconsolable all those weeks thinking that you were going to dump him...he missed you so much!!"

"Well, yeah...I was still high on intimacy strings allure and it was best to stay away from the bond until it cooled off...but we fine now. Triggering intimacy bond the first time is lethal the second time...you are gone! We have learned our lesson." she chuckles as if it's not a big deal. Twinkies and you both shook your heads. The girls took your phone and added you to the Bangtan Bells chat group. They want to communicate with you at any time. Ms Cheong informed you that the girls and female managers would board first.

Ms Cheong told you to relax, and if you want Korean snacks, especially the drinks for the flight, you can get them. The boys were also informed. The flight will be short, and a light lunch will be provided. You smile at Ms Cheong in appreciation.

"I saw sprite soda's, and I'll get some ice-cold ones for the flight. I don't like soju, and I tried it once, and I did not like it.' You looked expectantly at the two girls.

As Funsize shook her head, she said, "Taelove already got me a bag full of snacks."

Twinkies glanced longingly at the snack bar. "I could use a hot kimchi bowl, and I'll take two. Like a midnight snack."

Together, you two left Funsize, who is online with Samiya. Twinkies, and you went to the snack bar.

Some of the staff have already refilled the soda fridge. When you saw the international drinks, you were so excited. In the fridge, you decided to take out two sprites and get a small kimchi bucket for Do-Yun. Korean girls are so thin, and you can't help but sigh at their beautiful slender bodies. On the other hand, you are well built with all the extra curves in places you wish didn't exist. The sound of Megan Trainor's voice in your mind, "I'm all about that base..." makes you smirk.

As you stood smirking in front of the fridge, you felt a gentle soft hand caressing your back, and the energy that is sent through your body made you realize it was your soulmate. After inhaling deeply, you softly turned your head to gaze up at Hobi...his eyes stared down into yours, and different emotions swirled within them. There was no turning away from each other, and fate was relentless. His eyes began to darken as your mouth dried up.

Nervously, you smiled, allowing him to select his drink. As you turned completely, your face turned red, and Twinkies, who stood next to Yoongi and Jimin, started snickering at your flushed appearance. When he saw the knowing glances of Yoongi-Hyung, Jhope smirked and focused on the choices he had in front of him.

Quickly, you grabbed Twinkies by the arm and dragged her back to your seat. You felt so embarrassed. What did the hell happen? Ogling one another in front of Yoongi and the flirt.

"OMG! Your face looks redder than a tomato...Hobi unnerved you with his hotness!" She yelled and giggled as you turned and gave her the stink eye, "Shut it you! That was so embarrassing. Now Yoongi and Jimin will tease me to death!" You groaned in disappointment at your pure desire for your soulmate.

Twinkies grinned: "You're both so thirsty for each other.".

After you reached your seat, you muttered, "That's not funny, Twinkies!!!" Twinkies informed a curious Funsize of what occurred between you and Hobi. As Funsize burst out laughing, you ignore the two silly girls who can't wait to get to Tokyo.

Ms Cheong, Mr Wang and Ms Park escorted you to the Boarding gates. All the staff members put on their staff laynards as they followed the bodyguard and managers out. You sigh, knowing this is going to be one of the longest short flights...
