I honestly love Void Stiles, like, wow
Also, I love this gif.

----------

Void had failed to mention the part of the plan where he left me with all of the people who were after him, and as a result, me.

And yet here I was, being tied to a chair by the Sheriff with the rope they had intended to use on Void. I would've attempted to escape, but Allison was pointing her crossbow directly at my head. I didn't think she'd use it, but even if I made a move against her, I didn't like my chances against her dad's gun.

I needed to do something like what I had done in the hospital, I just didn't know how to recreate it. I kept concentrating, trying to draw the energy.

"Don't even think about it," Allison said, looking at me from behind her weapon.

Laughing, I looked up at her. "Can't blame a girl for trying. You know, I thought you were my friend, Allison, and that crossbow doesn't look very friendly. If you don't stop pointing it at me, I promise you'll regret it."

"What happened to you?" She asked softly.

"Where would you like me to start," I laughed. "I swear, if you and your family hadn't come back here, everything would have been fine. The only reason Peter went psycho was because of your aunt. And then we had to kill him, which made that idiot over at the window - yes, I'm talking about you, Derek - bite Jackson. He then got controlled by your grandfather who proceeded to try and kill us all because of. . . Kate! See how this all comes full circle?"

As she stared at me, I smiled. Then I gasped, realising I had forgotten something. "Oh, and my mother died, forgetting to mention that I'm a supernatural freak who Deucalion wanted to help him kill people. And then I found out my boyfriend's brain is decaying. Did I leave anything else out?"

"You're not Riley," She said through gritted teeth.

"Except I am, Allison. And that was Stiles, and your dad was going to kill him," I said, trying to add in some crocodile tears like Void had. "But, you just stood there, willing to let it happen. Kinda like when your mother died."

When I saw her jaw clench, I knew I'd hit a nerve. "Shut up now or I will put an arrow through your eye."

"You're the one who asked the question, sweetie. Besides if you do that, you know Isaac will never want to be with you," I reminded her. "Do you know how many times he's told me he loves me since we broke up? He was still trying to win me back, even when you thought you had a chance with him."

She stepped forward, the crossbow still aimed at me. "Stop it. This isn't you."

"Although, Isaac would probably get bored, just like Scott did. That's why he's with Kira now, isn't it? She's much more interesting. And she's not plain, old, Allison Argent."

Allison was holding the crossbow right in front of my face at this point. But I wasn't scared. I knew she wouldn't. She still believed she could save me.

Derek walked up, pulling Allison away. "Alright, you're not on watch anymore. Walk away, before you do something you'll regret."

The girl hesitated, but eventually lowered her weapon and left me with the wolf.

I smiled at him, drawing in my power. My hair lifted off of my shoulders as we stared each other down. He brought his claws out in an attempt to seem menacing.

"What do you think is faster, Derek," I said softly. "Me ripping the air from your lungs, or you tearing my throat open?"

"Don't make me find out," he growled.

"What happened here?" A voice asked from the door.

Turning, I saw Scott standing at the entryway to the loft. Better late than never. Although, maybe if he had been on time I would still be with Void.

"They disappeared," Allison told him. "They literally just vanished."

"And so did Stiles," the Sheriff said, the sadness in his voice palpable.

Scott spotted me sitting in the chair, rushing over. "Why is Riley tied up?"

I focused on the emotions I used to feel and made myself cry. As the tears ran, I struggled against the ropes. "Scott, Scott, please untie me. I don't know what's happening. They think I'm helping him. Please, Scott."

"Don't listen to her," Allison said, not letting her emotions get the best of her this time.

Scott looked like he was going to reach for the rope, before he frowned. "Mr Yukimura told us what happened at the school."

I thought about playing it out some more, but they had all seen me already, so there wasn't much of a point. Twisting around a bit, I wiped my eyes on the shoulder of my shirt, shrugging.
"Had to give it a shot."

There had been an argument about who would be keeping an eye on me until they could figure out how to help me. I didn't want their help, but they just wouldn't listen. They always had to be heroes.

In the end, Scott said that he and Kira would take me back to his house. Apparently he was getting his mum to bring something special home from the hospital. He also said something about feeling responsible for me, but that was where I had zoned out.

When we got to his house, they put me in the spare room that I used when I used to stay here. I walked around it, surveying it. Nothing had changed.

Scott, Kira and Ms McCall all stood in the doorway, watching me carefully.

"So sweet of you to take me in again, Melissa," I said to the woman. "You know, my mother never really liked you. She always thought that you were trying to 'out-mother' her. She hated when I stayed here."

"I never tried to do any such thing," Melissa responded. "And I hope that's not true. I always thought of your mother as a close friend."

"Pretty words can't bring back a dead person," I laughed quietly. "She was a lying bitch who kept half of my identity from me. You don't have to say you liked her. Where's my sister, by the way? She's the one who had me committed in the first place."

"She knows what's happened. We told her to keep her distance for her own safety." Scott looked to Melissa, "Mum, can you go and get the stuff, please?"

The woman left without another word.

"Gosh," I said softly. "I hope I didn't hurt her feelings."

Kira shifted her weight uncomfortably as she watched me.

"I hope you realise that you started all this. You and your foxfire. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful, I just know that that fact is something you keep trying to forget."

Kira nodded, "I know. And I'm sorry for what I did to Stiles, and to you. I never meant for this to happen."

"You feel bad for me, don't you?" I frowned. "Maybe you could let me borrow your Alpha boy-toy for the night. That's sure to cheer me up."

"Riley, stop," Scott warned.

"What? You've tried to kiss me before, remember?" I turned to Kira, "In fact, he's kissed Lydia as well as Allison. Don't feel special, sweetheart, you're just next in line."
Kira walked away after I said that, not fighting back. "Wow, I'm not making many friends today," I sighed.

Scott stepped aside to let his mother enter the room, a needle in her hand. I took a step back until I was nearly up against the wall. "No way you're doing anything with that. I have been injected with enough over the past week, I'm done."

Melissa kept inching towards me cautiously.

"Please, Melissa," I sobbed. "Please, it's me. I promise."

She shook her head sadly, "I wish I could believe you."

"Take another step and I will suffocate you before you can get another word out!" I shouted.

Scott used his alpha strength to get behind me and hold my hands behind my back as his mother reached over and put the needle in my neck. She pushed down on the plunger as I screamed at them.

Unfortunately, this didn't stop her. The liquid ran through my veins, and my body instantly began to feel weary. Scott carried me over to the bed, laying me down. It took me less than ten seconds to realise it was a sedative.

"You're going to regret that," I laughed. "He's going to come for me."

They both left, locking the door behind them.

The sun woke me in the morning, shining in through the window. They hadn't even bothered to close the blinds for me, how inconsiderate.

When I heard voices downstairs, I climbed off of the bed and went to leave the room. Unfortunately, the door was still locked. Taking a deep breath, I drew strength from the air and used it to help me force the door open.

I stumbled a little, the sedative still working its way out of my system. Walking down the stairs, I saw people standing in the living room. They were all standing around the couch, where Void was sitting.

He was here, but he also looked unconscious.

"Well, if we're not going to kill him, why aren't we at least tying him down with really big chains?" Aiden asked, arms crossed.

"I might have something more effective," Deaton suggested. Apparently, Scott had resorted to involving the doc.

And speaking of Scott, he was no longer in the living room. But, I noticed this a moment too late.
"Walk," he growled from behind me, his claws at my back.

"Alright, take a breath, tough guy," I chuckled, heading into the room and sitting beside Void.

"No. That chair over there," Scott instructed.

I did as I was told, moving to the other chair.

Deaton pulled a small brown vial out of his bag, gesturing for Scott and Aiden to hold Void whilst he dosed him.

"Wake up!" I shouted, trying to get his attention. Lydia had ran over to hold me back so that I couldn't interfere as they dropped the liquid down his throat.

Void came to, but was too late. He sneered in his signature way, grabbing Aiden by the throat.

"Get him off me! Get him off me!" Aiden choked out.

Scott tried to disconnect hand from throat, but to no avail. However, Void did eventually let go, his arms falling down beside him. He glared up at the doctor, "Kanima venom. Nice touch."

Aiden roared in anger as he stepped towards the now paralysed Void, baring his teeth.

"You know how they say that twins get a feeling when the other one's in pain? You didn't lose that talent, too, did you?" He taunted. He really had thought of every possible outcome.
"Oh, I hope not. You're going to need it."

Aiden and Scott stared at each other as if they couldn't figure out what he was saying.

"Okay, I'll give a little hint," Void teased. "Ethan's at the school."

Aiden looked over to Scott as if asking for permission. The True Alpha nodded, telling him to go. After all, if this was like any of Void's other plans, Ethan was definitely in danger of dying at this very moment.

Just when I thought Void had told me everything, he springs a new part of the plan on me during the execution.

While they were distracted by the fox, I began to thin out in the air in the room little by little. Maybe I'd be able to get a few of them unconscious within the next half hour and get us both out of here.

Void laughed as he watched the boy go, his head falling back, "Oh, I hope he gets there in time. I like the twins. Short tempers. Homicidal compulsions. They're a lot more fun than you bakemono trying to save the world every day."

Melissa, who was now standing beside Lydia, had apparently had enough. "Doc, you brought something to paralyse his body. You got anything for his mouth?"

Deaton nodded, "Yes, I do."
He then proceeded to grab a roll of tape out of his bag, tearing off a piece and sticking it firmly across Void's mouth.

He screamed, before he began laughing. Watching the interaction, I laughed along with him.
"You people have no idea what you're in for," I mused.

Pulling tighter on the air, I kept drawing it towards me. The power ran through me like a current, making every hair stand on end. The adrenaline-inducing feeling caused me to accidentally make my eyes glow.

I thought I had gotten away with it but Scott was staring directly at me. With a small smile, I directed all my power in his direction. If I was going to go down, I was at least going to take Void's biggest opponent with me.

Deaton and Melissa tried to stop me, so I stopped them. But, because of the sedative still in my system, and focusing my energy onto Scott, Deaton and Melissa, I didn't have enough left for Lydia. The girl forced Kanima venom into my mouth and pushed me back into the chair.

"We're trying to help you," she reminded me.

"I didn't ask you to," I sneered.

Scott's eyes glowed red as he took deep breaths, trying to remain calm with me. How long until they gave up completely?

Lydia, Deaton and Scott retreated to the kitchen to talk, while Melissa stayed behind to clean the big gaping wound on Void's stomach. I didn't know how I didn't notice it before. It was like his stomach had been cut open.

"How much longer do you think we have?" Scott asked the vet.

"I wish I knew," the man replied. "But if we don't figure out something soon, we're going to need to find a better place to keep him. I think we're grossly underestimating the danger here. We've seen what he's capable of, and now he has Riley helping him. He might be paralysed, but it feels like he's got us right in the palm of his hand."

Listening to them struggle just made me realise that this was all apart of his plan. As long as they had no idea what to do, Void ran this game.

I stopped listening when I noticed Void was tearing up a little. Melissa, who was finishing with the bandages on his stomach had noticed also.
"Stiles." She said quietly.

He nodded, tears in his eyes. She reached up and removed the tape. He sniffled a little bit, before his face contorted into a disappointed look.
"Really, Melissa? I shed one tear? That's all it takes? Come on. You can't crumble that easily. How are you going to hold up when Scott knows the truth?"

Melissa looked up at this, confused, "What?"

"When he finds out why his dad really left? You know he overheard it, right? You had no idea," he stated, somewhat surprised. "You called Stilinski right after it happened. You didn't tell Scott, but you told the Sheriff. Hmm. And Stiles heard it like he hears everything. But you want to know why he never told Scott? Because he knew that Scott would never forgive you. He knew how much he would hate you."

The harsh words almost made Melissa look away. "This isn't you, Stiles."

"It is now," he informed her in a playful tone. She pressed the tape back onto his mouth, not wanting to hear any more from him.

"Wow, it must be really bad," I laughed.

"Excuse me?" Melissa turned to me.

"I mean, Stiles usually tells me everything, but he never told me that. So, you must've done something really bad." I smirked as I looked at her, lowering my voice to a whisper, "If you wanna tell me, it can be our little secret. I'm good at that."

"Keep talking, and I'll get some tape for you too."

"Just wait until this wears off. You're gonna need more than tape."
