Sam's Outfit

"Beach day!", I shouted, walking into the Alvarez's apartment. Since Alex had been so 'responsible' lately according to his mom, he'd actually been allowed to come with us, which was gonna be super exciting.

"Why are you so excited? You're literally just going fifteen minutes away to Venice", Elena replied from the couch.

"You're just bitter that you weren't invited", Alex said, walking into the living room.

"Whatever", Elena replied, going back to her book.

Once Alex said goodbye to Penelope and promised not to get in trouble, Alex and I left. Schneider would be driving the two of us, and we'd be meeting everyone else there.

"So, who else is coming?", Alex asked once we were in the car.

"Dana, Jade, Leo, and Leo said that he was bringing his friend and his friend's girlfriend", I replied.

"Awesome. I'm so glad to be out of the house for something besides school", he said.

"Yeah, it should be fun. I'm so happy you could actually come with", I said.

"Me too. I thought that my mom would change her mind again when I said bye to her", he replied.

We talked for the rest of the car ride, and after fifteen minutes we were dropped off at the beach right next to the boardwalk.

Jade and Dana were already there, but we were still waiting for Leo and his friends.

And then, Leo walked towards us, followed-unfortunately- by my ex Ethan and Alex's ex Chloe.

"Hey guys! This is my friend Ethan, and this is his girlfriend Chloe", Leo said.

"Oh, we've met!", I said.

"...yeah, unfortunately", Dana said.

"Hey! Let's go and get a good spot on the beach!", Jade said, realizing that her girlfriend was probably about to rip someone's head off.

Once we were down on the sand, we all laid out our beach blankets and shit at a nice spot close to the ocean. And since I'm kind of a music hoe, I began playing the beach playlist I'd made specifically for today.

NASA by Ariana Grande began to blast through my speaker, and while I'd usually dance along or some shit, I was way too anxious about Ethan and Chloe being there to do anything.

Alex sat down next to me on the beach blanket.

"How the fuck does Leo know them?", Alex asked.

"I don't know. I mean, we all go to the same school, but also doesn't really seem like he'd hang out with someone like Ethan", I said.

"Yeah, I know. I'm gonna go down to the water, if you want to come with", he said, getting up and sliding off his shoes.

"I'm good", I said, gritting my teeth and smiling.

Jade, Leo, and the beach guests from hell went down to the water too.

Dana plopped down next to me and sighed.

"Why the fucking hell are they here? And why the fuck are we okay with it?", she said.

"I don't know. They're friends with Leo. Maybe, they changed?", I said.

"No. They didn't. People like that just don't change. Promise me that today you'll stay close to Alex. I don't want Ethan to mess with you again", she said.

"I will, I promise", I said.

"Good, because Ethan is lucky that I didn't fuck him up last time", she replied.

I laughed.

I wanted to go down to the water with them, but I was scared to take my shirt and shorts off and just wear my swimsuit. I mean, usually I wasn't really uncomfortable with wearing a swimsuit and stuff, but with Ethan here, I just kinda felt uneasy.

"C'mon down to the water! And for the love of God, do not wear your shorts down there. There's nothing worse than wet denim", Dana said.

I slipped my shirt and shorts off and followed her down.

I doubt that Ethan would do anything to me today, especially with his girlfriend here.

I walked to where Alex was and stood next to him.

He grabbed my hand and held it as we stood there just letting the waves hit us.

"Aww! My ex and Ethan's ex are dating now! That's so cute! He could do a little better though", she said, saying the last part a little quieter.

Jade dragged Dana back up to the beach, as we could all tell that Dana was growing more pissed by the second.

Leo walked over to Alex and I, "I am so sorry! I didn't know that Ethan was your ex! We used to be really close friends, and I thought that he'd like coming to the beach with us. And I am so sorry about his bitch of a girlfriend. I've never met her before, and I did not know how insufferable she'd be", he said.

"It's fine, Leo. I promise", I said.

Leo walked back up to the sand, while I still stood there with Alex.

Someone probably turned up the music I had up there, because now I could hear Glitter by BENEE playing clearly.

"At least we get to be together!", Alex said.

"Yeah. I'm sorry that your ex is here. That must be really uncomfortable for you", I said.

"Nah, it's fine. I never had real feelings for her anyway. I feel more bad for you, knowing how things ended with you and Ethan", he said.

"I'm just gonna pretend that I don't know them! They're just strangers who I don't have a history with at all!", I said.

"I'm gonna do that too. Unfortunately, I don't think that's gonna be possible for Dana. She looks like she's gonna punch one of them every time they talk", he said.

"Seriously. If Jade weren't here, I think she would've went off by now", I said.

"Is it bad that I wanna see that?", he asked.

"No, I do too. Hey, I'm gonna go up to the bathroom real quick", I said.

We walked up to the beach blanket together, him sitting down next to Jade, and me slipping my shoes on and walking up there.

After I walked out from the bathroom, I felt hands grab me around my waist.

"Alex! Aww, you missed me that much?", I said sarcastically.

I turned around, and standing behind me was Ethan.

"I've really missed you Sam", he said, grabbing my waist tighter.

"You have a girlfriend, and you're a dick. No thanks", I said.

"C'mon, don't be such a goody-goody. I know you're giving it to Alvarez", he said.

"No. I'm not.", I said.

"You lying little whore...", he said.

He started kissing my neck forcefully, and tightly grabbed my wrist as I tried to pull away.

"Stop. Seriously. I don't like you like that", I said.

He grabbed my boob with his other hand, and kept touching me and kissing me.

"ETHAN!", Chloe shouted.

As they yelled at one another, I left and walked down to the beach.

I put my shirt and shorts back on and sat cross-legged on the beach blanket.

I couldn't wait to go home and get a shower and burn that swimsuit.

Alex was sitting next to me, and he grabbed my hand in his.

"Hey, are you okay? Your hand is shaking a little", he said.

"I'll tell you later", I said.

I really didn't wanna ruin his one day out of the house.

Unfortunately, a few minutes later, everyone's day was ruined.

Chloe walked down, and pointed at me, "That slut kissed my boyfriend!".

"There's no way in hell that Sam would do that!", Jade said.

"Well she did! She even made him touch her boob!", Chloe said.

I squeezed Alex's hand tighter.

It was all my fault. I shouldn't have worn that bikini, I shouldn't have dressed like that. Alex would break up with me. When my grandfather said I dressed like a whore the week before, I thought he was just being a rude old man, but maybe he was right. Maybe i did dress like a whore, and that's what caused Ethan to do that to me.

He let go of my hand, "Sam... you didn't right?"

I shook my head no. I didn't. I wouldn't.

There's no way he'd believe me.

There's no way anyone would believe me.

Authors Note: Hi! This chapter is traumatic af. I promise drama, and here ya go! While this may seem kinda out of the blue and like it doesn't go with the story,I promise that it will, and I have the perfect way to wrap it into the rest of the canon for season three! While this may seem a little extreme, this chapter is extremely close to my heart as someone who has experienced cat-calling and sexual harassment. I'm sorry if this chapter sucks, and if it's too much, but I promise that I have some great stuff planned and that you'll be happy with what'll happen in the end. I plan to update later this week!
