Chapter 6
Reyansh
I left the hotel room and headed towards my car, more grumpy and irritable than before, the leading cause of this was Kyra Oberoi, she turned out to be more likeable and humane than I thought possible and due to that, a small seed of doubt and guilt started festering in my mind about what I was going to have to do to her in the near future.
I quickly shut down those errant thoughts, because Kyra was going to be collateral damage and I was going use her as a stepping stone to cause the downfall of the Oberoi's and there was no two ways about it.
But seeing her hurt and so vulnerable affected me in a way that I didn't think was possible. I reached her in the nick of time, I shuddered to think what would have happened if I was even 1 minute late. She was my enemy, but even I had some morals no matter how questionable they were.
According to the prominent saying, "Everything is fair in Love and War". Well, I don't believe that. Every relationship whether love or hate should have boundaries and rules. I thrive on control and the known, and I absolutely despise ambiguity and the unknown.
All these conflicting thoughts about Kyra had worked me up, which finally led me to call my go-to stress reliever "Cherry" and I asked her to meet me at our regular spot. I was stressed and I needed a distraction, plus being near Kyra had awoken my other 'emotions', she was after all one of the most beautiful women I have ever met and being alone with her in the hotel room had made my mind wander.
Cherry knew exactly what I liked, no talking, no emotions, just a quick fuck and to leave immediately after the deed. A simple service in-exchange for a good fee.
But today Kyra plagued my mind throughout the activity, her smile, her laugh, her beautiful face, her gorgeous body, her silky hair which would look beautiful wrapped around my fist and finally I came to the memory of her sweet and melodic voice calling out my name and telling me that she owed me.
Therefore the quickie that was supposed to calm me, did the opposite and left me more agitated than before and I asked Cherry to leave after paying her. She saw that something was amiss and that I wasn't my usual self, but she did not question me or initiate any kind of small talk, she simply left and that's why I preferred her services and paid her handsomely for them.
After Cherry left, I showered and was on the way home, when I decided to analyse the happenings of today;
~ Kyra was brave and courageous while dealing with the goons.
~ She had a saviour complex and was willing to sacrifice herself to save her driver's little brother's life by getting out of the safety of her car. (This could be a useful trait of her's for me to exploit when dealing with her and her loved ones).
~ She was gorgeous, charismatic and had somehow weaselled her way into my mind. (I had to put a stop to it, immediately).
~ She was perceptive and observant, and did not trust me immediately just because I had saved her. She also, picked up on my behavioural changes throughout the entire time I was with her especially when the topic of 'My Family' arose and she wasn't naive by any standards.
~ She was very intelligent, her questions proved as much when she interrogated me, despite having been injured and having gone through such a traumatic experience, it did not dim her cognitive abilities.
~ Lastly, her security team was not very competent. They had failed to keep her safe and the emergency response time was also very poor. (But I'm sure that was going to change after this incident).
I needed to make minute alterations in my plan, because I had to take into account all the new information and personality traits that I had uncovered and witnessed today. She wasn't going to be an easy target or a damsel in distress for that matter, and that made me smile because I loved a good challenge and it was going to be fun and exciting to break a strong person like Kyra.
"After all, nothing worth having in life comes easy and without hard-work and determination."
