3rd Party POV

Ryan couldn't wait to exact his revenge on Reyansh. The glee and anticipation was clearly visible on his cruel face.

He decided to milk this situation, as much as he possibly could. He video called Reyansh, who answered on the very first ring.

Reyansh's face showed helplessness and worry. He desperately needed to see that his wife and brother were alright. Ryan broke the silence first and said, "Reyansh, since I'm not entirely heartless, I'm going to give you a chance to save one person. But the choice is your's, regarding whom it'll be. Either your hot and sexy Wife who was under your protection and trusted you, or your naive baby brother whom you practically raised as your child."

After providing that chilling and impossible ultimatum, Ryan panned the camera to Kyra first. Reyansh clutched the phone in both hands and tried inspecting his wife's condition, as best he could. His shrewd gaze did not miss the handprint on her cheek and nor did it miss her tear stricken face and overall battered look. He could see the worry and fright on her face.

Then all too soon, Krish became the focus of the camera. His brother somehow looked in worse condition, his eyes were slightly unfocused and he had bruises on his face. As though he had been repeatedly punched. But, Reyansh could see and sense, the confidence and faith that Krish had in him. As though his Bhaiya was a superhero and he was sure that his brother could save them.

At this moment, Reyansh did not share that belief, as he tried to find a way to track them down, but he wasn't successful. He even called Mia, who was a hacker and she owed him, he thought that she may provide a fresh perspective, but unfortunately she was admitted in the hospital.

For perhaps the first time in his life, Reyansh's mind had failed him. He couldn't find a way of out of this horrible situation. He prayed to whoever was up there to provide him with a miracle, he really needed it.

Kyra and Krish, were both tied to their chairs and a piece of cloth was tied around their mouth, which served as a gag and prevented them from being able to say anything. Though their eyes had done plenty of talking.

Reyansh said, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Kyra and Krish. This is all my fault. But don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. I'm.....I'm.....going to make everything alright, very soon."

The camera angle changed and it was passed off to a 3rd person to hold from a zoomed out view. This way both Krish and Kyra could be seen, they were sitting opposite to each other and Ryan stood between both of them.

Ryan said, "Don't make promises you can't keep Reyansh. Giving them both false hope is very cruel. You can save 1 and only 1 person. I give you 1 hour to make a decision. Goodbye, for now. Also, remember the clock is ticking."

The call was then cut, by Ryan.

Ryan then ordered his goon, he said, "Drug them both, if I see them conscious I'll want to do something, I really shouldn't."

Reyansh screamed out in frustration and picked up a glass bottle and hurled it against the wall with great force, it resulted in a very loud crash.

Just then, a man entered the room and said, "I thought you were level headed and had impeccable control over your emotions."

Reyansh quickly turned around, pulled out his gun and pointed it at the stranger, who just entered the locked hotel room. He said, "Who are you? What the hell are you doing in my room? And who sent you?"

The grey eyed intruder was very muscular and tall. His physique resembled that of a bodyguard. He was dressed in an Armani suit and radiated Power, wealth and confidence. He seemed American, by way of his looks and accent. He didn't look the least bit scared or intimidated with the gun pointing at him.

The Intruder said, with utmost calmness and an almost bored expression, "So many questions. Instead of such a hostile greeting and interrogation, you should be thanking me. I'm your Angel in disguise, a miracle for you. I am your adopted brother and I'm here to help, save our family."

Reyansh not believing a word said, "I do not have any other brother, except Krish. So stop the mind games and tell me who you are this instant. Or else-

The stranger interrupted Reyansh and said, "Before you can make any empty threats, let me stop you right there. As you don't have the luxury of time. Your family is at the mercy of a deranged psychopath and they need our help. I'm Adrian Alexander, the adopted grandson of Mr. Thomas Alexander - the billionaire from USA and your grandfather. He was your mom's father. I have tracked Kyra and Krish, we can leave immediately to rescue them."

This news made Reyansh lower his gun, he couldn't believe what he had just heard. He supposedly gained new family in a matter of few seconds and most of all, this guy had tracked his family down. As much as he wanted to believe the last part, he was just betrayed by a guy, he considered a friend or almost extended family.

Adrian could see the mistrust in Reyansh's eyes.

He cautiously stepped forward and said, "Reyansh, I know it must be hard to believe a total stranger. But I'm telling the truth, I have a video message for you from your grandfather and I can play the same for you in the flight. Your wife and brother are held hostage in Turkey, I have the exact location and my private aircraft is ready for takeoff. I don't know what'll make you believe me, but you need to take a leap of faith, if you want to save your family."

Reyansh nodded and for some reason, he believed Adrian to some extent. Maybe this was the miracle that god sent to him. Adrian seemed sincere to help and Reyansh needed all the help he could get. Adrian brought out his phone and showed the exact location.

Reyansh said, "Okay, I'm choosing to believe you for now, but if you betray me then nothing on this Earth, will save you from me. Now, that I've warned you, let's get down to some facts. How did you get their precise location?"

Adrian sat on the sofa and said, "I heard news that your family was kidnapped and I put feelers out for the exact parties involved. Once acquainted, I offered my ample finances to help them, in exchange for being the first one to get a pound of flesh from you and first shot at the very beautiful Kyra."

Reyansh as expected bristled at the last statement particularly and said, "What the fuck did you just say about my wife?"

Adrian said, "Oh, calm down, you Caveman. I really sold my hatred towards your family and Ryan bought it. I conditioned my contribution to his funds, by saying that I would be the first one to draw blood from Kyra and Krish. Also, that I would get the first shot at Kyra. If any of my terms were violated, then I would pull out my financial support and ensure that this entire operation would be doomed. The Alexander name holds great power."

Reyansh breathed out a sign of relief. So that means Ryan was toying with him, about having to choose a family member to save. Because if nothing else, Ryan was an opportunist and extremely money minded. Money was the most important and valuable thing to him.

Adrian's condition had essentially safeguarded both Kyra and Krish from any further harm. All he needed now was to find a strategy to extract them safely and finish this matter, once and for all.

Turkey was roughly a 5 hour flight away from Russia. They headed to the private airport and he messaged Dhruv to also head to Turkey from India, and that was about a 6 and a half hours journey.

En route, they discussed strategy and Reyansh came up with a plan.

Adrian then played the video message of Mr. Thomas Alexander. In that, Thomas expressed his regret of having banished and disowned his one and only daughter - Kate, from his life and how that one decision made in anger and ego ruined his entire life. When he realised his mistake, nearly a decade later he learnt that he lost the chance of connecting and meeting his daughter, one last time.

His need for an heir and loneliness made him adopt Adrian, a gangly malnourished Orphan. He treated him as his own grandson and in raising him, he found his humanity, fatherly love and forgiveness, he became desperate to connect with his daughter.

Thomas said that he learnt of Kate's untimely passing in a Hospital shoot out, in USA of all the places, his daughter was so close and yet so far. But those responsible had been dealt with. He then tried to find out wether Kate had her child, but there was no information. The wound was too raw and deep, and he gave up, after hitting various dead ends.

He then, showed Reyansh some pictures of Kate's childhood. Thomas said that the first time he suspected that Reyansh was maybe his grandson, was when Reyansh had bumped into him, on the day that Kyra & Abhay's marriage was announced, at the party. The same party in which Alexander had signed a huge business deal with Kyra.

Those blue eyes, and overall demeanour reminded Thomas, of himself. Those exact shade of blue eyes were uncommon and hereditary. Thomas had them, so did Kate and now even Reyansh did. Unfortunately, before he could do much digging, he suffered a stroke and was comatose for many months.

When, he finally came out of it and regained his senses, the first thing he did was to find out about Reyansh's entire life story and he was very glad that Reyansh married Kyra; who was a very caring, passionate, hardworking and a good girl, according to Thomas.

Thomas was extremely upset upon learning about her and his other grandson's abduction and he immediately sent Adrian to Reyansh, to help get his granddaughter-in-law and his other grandson back home, safe and sound. He was very sure and confident, that this power duo would be able to carry out this mission, without any hitch.

Lastly, he was very proud of everything that Reyansh had accomplished and that he was very eager to meet his 2 new grandsons and his granddaughter-in-law. Before he passed, he wanted to reconnect with his daughter's last remnants and hear everything her life and in-turn share everything about her childhood and the kind of person she was.

He wanted to shower all of them with all the love he possibly could, in this short span of time. So, that he would atleast be able to look his Daughter in the eye, in heaven.

There was absolute silence after the recording was over and now Reyansh believed, that this was really his grandpa. But, in typical Reyansh fashion, he decided that he was going to get a DNA test done, when everything was sorted, just to be a 100% sure.

Just as they were about to land Adrain told Reyansh, that as a gift to him and a sign of goodwill and brotherhood, he tracked down and bought the hidden 20% ownership stake in Oberoi Empires and transferred it to Reyansh. Even though the ownership of the business was the last thing on his mind, it was good to know that Adrian seemed to care about them and that he would do whatever he could, to help save Kyra and Krish.
