Third Party POV

Reyansh came back to India after 3 whole weeks, it was an ardent and difficult task to locate the daughter of the head of the Mexican drug cartel, she had been kidnapped by a rival gang.

Once they were able to locate her, solely due to Reyansh's capabilities. It was a whole other ordeal to rescue her, it turned into a bloody gang war with many casualties on both sides. But eventually Reyansh's side prevailed and were able to safely bring the girl back home to her father. Mr Javier, her father pledged loyalty and owed a life debt to Reyansh for saving his daughter.

Reyansh unfortunately got injured in the fight and was stabbed in the abdomen. Hence he had to stay in New Mexico for a few extra days to partially recover before Mr. Javier's private jet brought him back to India.

Being so absorbed in this issue, he couldn't focus on Kyra, but Dhruv had sent him regular updates regarding her well being, and knowing that she was safe was sufficient knowledge for him for right now.

Once back, he got to know about the meeting and private deal between Kyra and Abhay and how she was going to marry him, her gay drug addict childhood best friend to save him from his family and get him access to his funds, Reyansh was extremely pissed off to say the least but by now he knew her nature very well. She was willing to sacrifice on love and an actual relationship to save her pitiful and vulnerable friend. Her loyalty was truly commendable, but a total inconvenience to him and his plans.

The clock was rapidly ticking for another aspect which was of grave significance for him, Kyra's birthday was a mere 5 Weeks away and she had to be married before then if she was to inherit the Oberoi Empire. He had to somehow find a way to break the ironclad marriage contract between the Oberoi's and Singhania's and marry her before the deadline.

Also, he figured if he wanted Kyra to not totally hate him and given her Mother Teresa tendencies, he would have to find a way to free Abhay from the contract he had signed with his parents, and get him access to his finances. This had to be done so that Abhay would not be bankrupt and Reyansh could use this as a bargaining chip to get Abhay to break the marriage contract once Reyansh found a loophole in it.

Dammit it, it looked like it was going to be a long couple of weeks of strenuous and difficult tasks and negotiations to find loopholes in the various contracts, destroy the contracts, get Kyra married to him by hook or crook  (God knows under what conditions) and complete all this within a span of few weeks.

But it Seemed like Reyansh's stress and burdens were going to increase..........

On a fateful morning, 1 day after Reyansh was back home.

Krish was on his way to college when he got into an accident when a drunk driver rammed his car from behind, which caused Krish to swerve at the last minute and he rammed into the cement divider (barricade).

Unfortunately the air bag malfunctioned and did not open in time, that's why his head banged into the Steering wheel and he had suffered a minor brain trauma, because of the head injury. He was rushed to the hospital by nearby onlookers and the hospital immediately contacted Reyansh because they had his contact information from when Krish had been treated in the hospital before.

Coincidentally the hospital he was brought to was the best, most premium and prestigious hospital in the entire city and it happened to be the one closest to the accident site. Also, the owner of this hospital was one of his clients, so he received preferential treatment and care.

Reyansh reached there in a panic and was informed of the accident and of Krish's injuries in great detail, after which he signed on the necessary forms to get the small procedure required to stabilise Krish's condition. The doctor had informed and reassured him that it was not life threatening and that he was going to be okay, he would only need to be hospitalised for 3 days and was then advised 1 week of bed rest after which he would be back to normal.

But seeing the condition Krish - his baby brother, his son (almost) was in, had freaked Reyansh out and he was shook to his very core, he knew that he was going to be perfect alright within no time and that he was also getting the absolute best treatment that he could possibly get, but still Reyansh could not let go of the panic and worry in him and he desperately wanted to harm the person responsible for his brother's condition and find some outlet to alleviate his stress and tension.

Nothing in the world mattered to him more than Krish's  wellbeing and the person responsible for his current condition was going to gravely suffer the consequences of harming Reyansh Alex Kapoor's little brother.

He was filled to the brim with tension, stress and anger. After sitting outside Krish's room for more than 2 hours, Reyansh decided to stretch his legs and get a cup of coffee.

Kyra entered the hospital and headed towards Amit's room (her driver who had been in a coma for so very long after he was severely injured during the attempted robbery and assault at Holi). Amit had regained consciousness a few days back and Kyra wanted to give him some time to get back his senses, memories and recuperate before meeting him.

She had paid the hospital bill for his treatment and for the entire time he had been in a coma in the hospital.

She walked out of his room, with anger and betrayal coursing through her veins, Amit had told her that he just regained memories of that horrible fateful day and on that day subconsciously his mind had picked up on the conversation around him, when he lay on the ground, bleeding. Just before he slipped into a deep coma.

He had seen a man carry her into a car and when he came back towards the goons, he had punched and screamed at them and demanded an explanation of why Kyra was hurt and injured, when all they were hired for and paid to do was to scare her, the giant scary man had then thrown a bundle of cash at the leader whom he had called by name.

That was the last thing he had seen before he completely slipped into unconsciousness. Amit also said he regretted not being able to save her and apologised and then finally thanked her for getting his treatment done and paying the bill. He vowed to work for her and be loyal to her till the day he died.

Kyra could believe what she had just heard, Reyansh was the one who had orchestrated her attack - the same attack which gave her PTSD till this day and haunted her from time to time, the same guy who she was developing feelings for, the same guy who she let touch her, the same guy who had been so intimate with her, the same fucking guy whose security company had been hired to safeguard the Oberoi empire and whom her family was freaking obsessed with.

Just as she entered the lift in a brain fog, Reyansh was inside the lift with a coffee cup in hand and he looked perplexed at seeing her, she rushed in and banged him against the wall of the lift utilising all the power inside her and the hot coffee split on both of them, she had his collar in her grip and she screamed, "How fucking dare you??????, You used me, you played with my emotions, you fucking Stalker, did you follow me to the hospital also, you disgusting creep."

The lift door banged shut and it looked like there was a power cut, but a tiny emergency light came on.

Reyansh completely shocked at her retorted with,"What the hell are you talking about, are you okay?, your outburst has spilt hot coffee on both of us, also I'm in the hospital because my little brother is"

Kyra interrupted him, her anger was at an all time high and she barely knew what she was saying and screamed again, "I don't care about the coffee and stop pretending like you care about me, stop this fucking drama, I don't want to hear anymore of your lies you psycho creep, did your mother not teach you any manners, morals or ethics?, or did she not teach you to respect women and not stalk them or pay people to attack an innocent young woman???? Maybe you learnt this characterless and perverted behaviour from your father."

Reyansh pushed Kyra against the opposite wall and angrily growled, "Enough Kyra, ENOUGH. You can say whatever you want about me, but don't you dare speak another word about my parents, leave them out of this."

Kyra pushed him back and slapped him hard across the face and said, "Don't you dare touch me again, you asshole, stay away from me and my family. Or else I will ruin your life and everyone you love."

Reyansh had his hands clenched into tight fists and was trying to get a handle on his anger before he spoke or did something he would surely regret.

The lift started moving again, the power was back.

He then said, "Let me explain what happened"

The lift doors opened and Kyra walked out without saying another word, completely ignoring Reyansh and whatever he was about to say.

He let her go for now, now was not the right time, Krish was his main priority at the moment and they both needed to calm the hell down.
