It was almost 4pm when you landed in Busan International Airport. You felt a little exhausted. Your flight was very relaxing. Jimmy even made some extra plans for you two with his Seoul friends. But you told him you're on a working vacation, and the coming week you'll be busy with shoots and magazine interviews.

Law made sure you looked decent and stylish when walking off the charter. Jimmy was tightly gripping your hand, expressing his admiration for you. You were blown away when you and Jimmy were swamped by Korean paparazzi.

Your eyes were wide with awe as you inquired and looked at your mom, who was just as surprised as you were. Your eyes narrowed behind your glasses. You instinctively know that Jimmy made sure his sources knew about him landing with you by his side on Korean ground.

You looked at your mom while your managers sorted out your documents at customs.

"Mom, what on earth? I thought we were going to keep it low-key. The managers at Louis Vuitton told me my stay would be under wraps; no one will know when I arrive," you whispered-yelled loudly to your mom, who still looked shocked. She just pointed at your irritated expression, urging you to stay calm and smile for the Korean media, who were snapping countless photos of you.

" Don't let your irritation show; just smile and nod. It's possible our agency informed the managers, and they might have let it slip about your arrival. News hounds are always right on time with the latest scoops." She gestured to you.

You just pressed your lips together. "Welcome to a vacation with no privacy," you grimace.

You just want to head to your hotel and unwind. Jimmy is capable of keeping himself entertained. As you walked out into the cool air of Busan, your team made sure you were safe. It was still winter, but the air wasn't chilly; still, you were thankful that you had put on a warm coat. Your hair was styled in a messy bun.

Jimmy smiled at the media, who were constantly taking photos of you in your SUV van. They were obsessed with the girl linked to Jungkook. Your heart raced uncontrollably as you realized that the next day, the tabloids would be packed with photos of you and the football player.

Jimmy enjoyed the attention; you didn't due to the dating scandal and being implicated as the third party in the Lizkook saga. You inwardly gritted your teeth at the unfair accusations. Luckily, Kookie and his band travel from the USA, where they had attended the Grammys, to complete their Japanese leg of their tour.

They will apparently be back in Seoul for the local awards show. You inhaled deeply as you sat dejected in your seat next to Jimmy. How in the world will you get rid of Jimmy if you want to meet Jungkook? Now that the media knew of you being in Busan, Jungkook's hometown, it became more complicated. Ignorant people will think that you are also in Korea for meeting the maknae.

You just sighed when your SUV van parked in front of the Five Star Hotel.

Park Hyatt.

The hotel was magnificent, with a concierge opening the doors for the distinguished guest and guiding you to the front desk. You smile warmly at the courteous hotel staff, their eyes shining with enthusiasm. You can’t help but snicker to yourself, realizing they already understand the reason for your visit. However, they were friendly and quite courteous.

Your management has reserved the presidential suite for you and your mom.Jimmy wanted you to share an executive room, but you promptly stepped in. You aren't sharing space with Jimmy. If you don't truly love Jimmy, then you're not ready to take things to the next level with him.

You enjoy his company, and your makeout sessions are exciting, but he doesn't make your heart race the way Kookie's kisses do. Out of nowhere, you felt a sense of deflation just by thinking about the hot BTS maknae. How will you move on from him now that you're in a country so obsessed with the band?

Lisa kept texting you about your coming, and you had to set up a lunch date with her. You told her you would let her know. But you want her to meet you at the hotel before your work schedule begins.

You'll have a day off before your schedule kicks in, followed by an online interview with Dazed Korea and a shoot with Allure Korea.

Your agent just texted you that W-Korea also wants an interview with you at their Busan office. You knew they wanted a piece of the action. Everyone associated with BTS is a hot commodity right now.

After you and your mom settled in your suites, you all got ready to go to dinner.

Your entourage was together at a long table, discussing your schedule while you, your mom, Jimmy, and Law enjoyed a secluded table near the exquisite view of the harbor and bridge.

The buffet was exquisite with various international dishes. You enjoyed a small sample of various dishes that are fit for your health and model weight. Jimmy loves meat, and he made various trips with Law to the BBQ meat sections. Your mom looked happy as she was just off the phone with her new producer boyfriend. She just gave you a pointed look when your eyes looked teasingly.

Your mom shot you an unimpressed glance and said, "Don't even ask, Daya. Your mind is already spinning, so just stop.

You giggle "Oh come on, Mom, I didn't say anything. Just if he got a taste of the middle-aged booty---" you chuckle as your mom gasps at your playful tone.

"Daya! Cut out those mischievous thoughts. Wow. You really have your dad's character," she scolds you, but you can see the smile in her eyes. She enjoys your lighthearted 'mom-and-daughter' teasing. She'll never hear the end of it from you.

It's great to see that both your parents have found happiness after the divorce. No dishonesty or negative emotions. They remain best friends, and their partners have accepted one another.

Jimmy took a sip of his pricey red wine and said, "Daya baby, will I ever get a day with you? Your schedule doesn't even give us time together." He whines, his eyes looking sad that you'll be too busy for him.

Jimmy can really be an entitled spoiled brat. It's hard to believe that you and Jimmy have been almost dating for six months, yet you already feel the mental weight of this relationship.

He was determined to win your heart and remain by your side until you find your soulmate. He understands that you got your soulmark, so he still has to comfort himself with the possibility of losing you at any moment. He always says that if you have a blue string, you have to reject your soulmate and be with him, which you can't guarantee.

You rolled your eyes while sampling your seafood dish and took a deep breath. "Jimmy, I'll talk to my managers, and you know I came to work. Sometimes, shoots can last all day long.

"Undoubtedly, darling, but you are the one shining star. At the very least, they should allow you a day off to discover this lovely beach town. " He pouts with a frown.

You have signed. "Alright, Jim... Mom can fit a day for us in between shoots." You quietly surrendered. You knew Jimmy would be a subtle challenge here in Busan.

He even followed BTS on social media and asked your friends about your real relationship with the youngest maknae, particularly after the online incident. He appeared to have some doubts about you regarding Jungkook.

He was shocked that you would prefer such a cute, soft masculinity in a boy rather than choosing a true manly man. He couldn't grasp what you first found appealing in Jungkook. He, as Jimmy, was much better than the young singer and can offer you more.

You couldn't help but laugh, because if he realized just how 'hot and intimidating' Kookie is, he would be running for the hills in embarrassment. It would have been great if he could have said that in front of ARMY...he would have truly felt the intensity of the online clash with the largest fandom. This fandom is not to be played with, particularly when it comes to defending their boys.

Your mom and even the managers weren't too impressed with Jimmy's constant grumbling. Law was quietly frustrated with Jimmy's star-entitled attitude.

Your mom furrowed her brows and said, "Jimmy, you do know that as my daughter's manager, she came here for work. You chose to join us despite being aware of her whole schedule for the week. You might be able to go out after the shoot. Tomorrow is a free day to relax, so perhaps--- "

You raise your hand and interrupt, "Mom...uh, sorry, but I've already made plans with a...friend---"

Law and your mom raised their eyebrows at the latest revelation.

Jimmy took a deep breath and slammed his hand on the table in frustration. "It seems like Daya has time to make plans with others, but I’m not included in her schedule at all. Are you sure you're not seeing that BTS Jungkook---" He made a snide remark, a bit too loud.

Stunned silence filled the air as you stared at Jimmy with wide eyes; your gaze flickered with annoyance at him. What is going on with Jimmy? Since you arrived, he has been restless for no apparent reason. Why is he so obsessed with BTS? Even your mom stared at him like he just sprouted two extra horns.

You clenched your jaw and stated firmly, "Nah! I won't be able to see him. Woah, Jimmy! What’s up with you? Did you know BTS is in Japan right now for their shows? Didn’t you check out the band good enough? I thought you were already in the loop like a hardcore ARMY with Jungkook's schedule, seeing how much you've been checking up on him lately, dang".  You shook your head in disbelief.

Your mom gave Jimmy a stern look.

'Jimmy, don’t you think that remark was a bit out of line? Daya would never cheat you like that. Why would you say something like that without thinking?"  She snapped back as Jimmy appeared embarrassed, particularly when he noticed your disappointed and disgusted look.

You watch him silently as he takes your hand in his, displaying an apologetic expression. "I'm sorry, Daya.I trust that you'll never cheat on me or see other guys without talking to me first— "Your eyes widen in shock.

"Woah, Jimmy, you kidding me? You get how rude you just sounded, right? Nobody gets to call the shots for me. Just so you know, me and Jungkook are tight, and to chill your worries... I'm hanging out with Lisa, Jungkook's girl and a buddy of mine. She and I are both ' Bulgari and LV  ambassadors too... " You took a deep breath as you glanced down at your plate.

You no longer have an appetite for your seafood dish. Jimmy looked regretful, "I'm sorry, darling. I know you're honorable and you'd never cheat with 'him.' "

You nod awkwardly as you ask your mom if they can order the famous mango and flower cake through room service. You no longer feel like sitting at dinner. Jimmy is really starting to get on your nerves, and you just want to get rid of him without any fuss. Jimmy smiled and looked at you with deep affection as he pulled you into his muscular embrace.

You sit there, feeling rigid in his embraced, while he gently caressed your hair out of your face. Your expression was impossible to read, and he realized he had crossed the line.

He gently kissed you on the lips and looked deeply into your eyes, "Please forgive me, darling. I’ve overstepped it once again. Maybe I’m just feeling insecure at the moment,” he whispered.

You look up at him and say softly, " Jimmy, that's not cool, man...you got to believe me while I'm here with you. So, you know I got this soulmark, right? Well, it's acting all weird, which means... my soulmate's out there just chillin', waiting for me. You got to wrap your head around that, man. "

Jimmy sighed, "Darling, I get it...but I’m just not ready to let you go, babe."

Your mom's and Law's eyes were discreetly locking on each other because they know Jimmy will not be easily taking defeat. He'll force the sensitive Daya to reject her soulmate; your mom even wishes that you will be red gold...so that there will be no way you could let go of your soulmate. Jimmy will just have to accept that you are not his destiny.

Upon returning to your luxurious suite, your mom wrapped her arms around you tightly, sensing your mood. You weren't happy.

"Mom, I can't deal with this nonsense anymore...but I'm kinda freaked about how Jimmy's gonna take it. He's super jealous of Kookie, like it's not even a joke anymore. Now that we're in Busan, Kookie's hometown,  he's way more on the ball. He’s gonna watch me like a hawk. "What am I supposed to do, Mom?" You leaned up against your mom's chest.," This relationship is really wearing you down. "

Your mom let out a big sigh and shot you a knowing look, staring right into your worried eyes. "Is Jungkook still down to see you? I think he’s lookin’ to check out your soulmarks. For real, I’m just hoping Jungkook turns out to be your soulmate. You two got something real special going on...you totally vibe together. I dunno.."

You let out a heavy sigh while slumping on the couch, "Kookie and I got a thing for each other, but we both know we can't just dive into it 'cause it could end up messy if we face our destinies... and I feel like Lisa's still hung up on him, and I'm pretty sure she can tell that Kookie and I are into each other too. Man, why do all my relationships feel like some wild soap opera? Why am I such a softie? ... Jungkook and I had this super cute teenage fling, but then he had to bounce back home after that dating drama. Niall from One Direction liked me, but our crazy schedules got in the way. My ex, Jacob, who I was all in for, totally cheated on me with his soulmate. So now there's Jimmy, who nearly got baby stuck with his own soulmate... when's this gonna stop, Mom?" You were all teary-eyed staring at your mom.

When will you find true happiness and feel settled? You know deep down that you wanted Jungkook with all your heart, but his heart is conflicted between you and Lisa, as well as his destined soulmate who will be the luckiest girl alive.

Lisa won't be able to handle it; she can't even accept their recent breakup. Now you're even friends with his so-called ex. Who is doing this? Are you really that foolish? Lisa will be just like Jimmy, keeping an eye on you and Jungkook.

Your mom seemed really understanding," Honey, keep in mind that Jimmy is NOT your soulmate. He said he would let you go when you fulfill your destiny. No questions will be asked".

You nod and say, "Yeah, Lisa's swinging by for some drinks tomorrow afternoon. What did I just get myself into?"

Your mom chuckles gently, "Just be honest and straightforward with her.She is not Jungkook's soulmate either. No one owns him at the moment."

You closed your eyes for a moment, wondering, "Am I crazy for wanting Kookie just for me? I'm super stressed that he might get back with Lisa."

"No, you're not. He is a great young man, very kind, and you get along really well. Fame never changed him, and he still saw you as his best friend...so no, you’re not delusional for hoping. We'll figure out a way for you two to meet and find closure...just leave it to me". You smile with relief and give your mom a tight hug before heading back to your spacious bedroom that overlooks the magnificent harbor.

The next day.

Your mom mentioned to Jimmy that you were sleeping in and that you'd be having breakfast delivered to your room. You're really happy that your mom understood your need for some alone time.

You called Jimmy and let him know about the day you'll have off for your leisure time together. He was thrilled when he discovered that the two of you would have an entire day together without any interruptions, just a day after your LV shoot.

You mentioned that he could visit his friends in Seoul for the weekend while you handle some interviews for prestigious Korean magazines. In the afternoon, you received a call from Lisa saying she would be on her way to the hotel in a few minutes.

You informed her about the location of your lunch in the hotel's luxurious lounge. Jimmy went swimming and working out with a few of the bodyguards. You put on a cute outfit to lift your spirits.

You and a manager were waiting for Lisa. Your heart was beating erratically as you noticed the beautiful Thai girl escorted by her bodyguards, who took a seat at the bar area next to your bodyguard.

You smile warmly as Lisa's eyes gaze at you in amazement. Her joy in seeing you was so pure and infectious. She has a beautiful smile as you both greet and hug each other friendly.

Lisa looked around in awe, "Wow, I love this place...Blackpink came for a performance, but we never had the chance to visit the lounge."

You smiled and said, "Yeah, remember we were almost underage last year? No minors were permitted, obviously."

Lisa laughs, "I know, right? It's so great to see you in South Korea, Zen..." You nod and motion for her to take a seat.

"You can just call me Daya. I'm way more used to that name than Zen. You all set to put in your order?"
You don't want her to refer to you by the pet name Jungkook called you by.  He’s the only person who calls you Zen, and he will remain the only one.

Lisa grinned as she settled into the chair across from you. A cheerful waitress stood with a big smile on her face as she took your orders. You ordered a cold meat and cheese platter for two, Lis got a bottle of grapefruit soju, and you chose an Italian summer punch made with limoncello, lemon juice, cranberry juice, and club soda. You enjoy experimenting with various cocktails.

The waitress giddy  eyes recognized the Blackpink girl, and your face had been all over the online tabloids a few weeks ago; she knew you. She is eager to quietly record a video of you and Lisa as soon as she steps away from you. Her best friend has a TikTok account, and she wants to ensure this meeting becomes a sensation.

Unbeknownst did you and Lisa know, another online frenzy was about to unfold once more.

Lisa chuckled, "Alright, Daya. It sounds so cute. This place is truly amazing. Thank you for the invitation, Daya. I truly see you as one of my closest friends."

You smirked and raised your brows, "Really? Wow!"

Lisa laughs, "Yeah, of course. I was really embarrassed that my dating scandal with Jungkook also involved you. I really apologize, Daya. Kook and I were pretty out of control but when you're in love, you just don't care. "She smiled with a hint of regret.

You simply nod, but you could feel your heart constricted. Are they still in love with one another despite the breakup? When your food and drinks arrive, you begin to enjoy your treats.

You gazed at the cheerful girl. "Hey Lisa, what’s been up with you when you arent making the news?"

Lisa snorted as she placed a cracker in her mouth. Her demeanor was cheery and light as if she knew something you did not. "Blackpink is always on the news. We get hate for practically everything. After my 'crime' of dating a member of a so-called rival group, I got a lot of backlash and hate. It was so hard, but Jungkook made it bearable."

You furrowed your brows."Oh...how so?"

Lisa grinned and said in a soft, conspiratorial tone, "Erm...I'm confident that Kook and I will make up when he comes back for the Korea Music Awards. We talk almost every day, and Daya, I know he loves me, and the chances are strong that he will reject his soulmate." She sounded so confident that it made your heart ache.

So, Jungkook and his ex are still in contact with each other. They're thinking of rekindling their relationship secretly again. You don't know what to say or what to think about this new revelation. Then why is Jungkook so insistent that you meet him on Yoongi's yacht? Why is he doing this to you, knowing that he still has stronger feelings for Lisa than for you?

Your face is unreadable as you try not to show how the new revelation rattled you. The ache in your heart was blaring.It felt like daggers into your heart.

"Whoa! That's some wild stuff. Is your agency cool with it now?"  you asked. You quickly gulped down your punch., hoping to hide your shock.

Lisa giggles softly, "Oh my gosh! Of course not! We truly love each other, Daya. He is the only man for me; despite all the hate from their fandom, we still get a lot of support from the Lizkook shippers." She was so sure of herself, and you couldn't help but ask her the pressing question.

"Hey Lisa, what you gonna do if he runs into his soulmate, like, right now in Japan? You think he's gonna ditch her for you?" You smugly looked at her discomfort. She doesn't look so sure about that.

Nobody can predict how anyone will react when meeting their destiny. It's the most exciting and anticipated meeting ever.

Lisa bit her lip as she pondered on your question, " Daya...I...I love him so much, and losing the love of my life is not an option. I know he is soulmarked, but I'm the best fit for him, Daya. He loves me, and he might reject his soulmate. I won't be able to get over him if she takes him away from me..." Her eyes looked teary.You could see the deep love she had for the BTS maknae. Her love for him was so evident that the hurt in you couldn't subside.

You could just blankly stare at her heart-wrenching confession. You don't know who is more delusional, you who hope he might bond with you or Lisa with her obsession with Jungkook. All you know is there is no way that a kind guy like Kookie will reject his destiny.

"Lisa...we both like Jungkook, but he's got a soulmark. Even if you two are tight, the day he kinda half-bond  with his true soulmate is gonna be the real test. If I were you, I'd just bail and save myself the trouble. Kookie's will choose his soulmate, no doubt about it.." You tried to get through to her, but she just pursed her lips.

Lisa looked at you with calculation,"Did he tell you otherwise?"

Your eyes widen as you just force a laugh. "Lisa, why would he spill the beans to me about his dating drama? It's his deal. "

Lisa pursed her lips," Daya? Do you still have feelings for Jungkook. Please be frank with me. I know Kookie likes you too, I saw his eyes when he talked about your childhood teen years. He cares about you too?"

You looked surprise at Lisa's confession. Did Kookie talked about you with his girlfriend, cause right now you not sure if she is his ex? This situation is more bizarre.

You signed deeply, there is no way to deny your feelings for the maknae. It's better to come clean to combat her delusion,"Lisa...I won't lie. I'm into him...like a lot.He is sought after.  But both of us has soulmarks and I cannot put my hopes in having him as a soulmate. I made up my mind to chill of any hope and I enjoy our friendship...stress free. I think you must do that also. He might not give up his soulmate for both of us. Right now we are both losers."

Lisa looked baffled, "I'm not you Daya. I love him for years. I'm now a Tarnished and there's no way I can just switched of my feelings for him. You can meet your soulmate anytime and your bonding will make you forgot your feelings...but I'm doomed."

She looked so depressed just thinking about her love that will stay true for the hot maknae.

You just shrugged, "My bad, Lisa. I really hope he picks you, but fingers crossed he’s got a blue or yellow string, 'cause that red gold arent gonna do you any favors."

You both finish your food quietly and you want her to be joyful again so you changed the conversation to her career.

You looked at her with a smile," So, what's your plan for this month? I heard you’re wrapping up your 'In Your Area' world tour."

Lisa grinned, her demeanour changed to glee,"Yes, we going to the USA in two days. We'll be appearing on the Colbert Show as well as Good morning America. We so exited. We came home for a little break especially to celebrate Roses' 23th birthday...our tour will commence in Singapore next week.----"

You were candidly chatting about your careers and decided to stay clear from discussing you feelings for Jungkook.

It was after two hours that you bid your goodbyes. You could see that Lisa still believes that Jungkooks heart belongs to her and this breakup is just a minor hiccup.

The next day you were hype up as you started with your highly anticipated shoot. It was a bit chilly but you handle the shoot like a true professional. Jimmy was also on the set and with your presence all over the media, numerous fans came to the set and your security had a tough time keeping the overly enthusiastic fans at buy.

At 7pm you were pleased that your shoot was completed without any hiccups, and when you left, you were allowed to give some fans autographs.

And just as you predicted your images with Jimmy were splash over every popular news out let even a video of you and Lisa got viral on social media.

You couldn't wait to go and have a hot bubble bath, forgetting about all your love issues.
