October was one of the busiest months for you. You hadn't had time to rest since you and Jimmy returned from Italy. Your agent and managers were swamped with all of the projects you had received.

Your face has been on numerous magazine covers, and you recently finished a cover shoot for Cosmopolitan-Chezc Republic.

Jimmy is also extremely busy with football practices for their upcoming season games. You felt a little more pressure in your relationship every day.

Jimmy grew overly attached, and the two of you had your first verbal spat, which left you disturbed. You had no idea what was wrong with him since Tom Holland and his director took you and your mother out to lunch to do an audition for the role of one of Tom's leading women in a new Marvel film.

You're not sure if you'll have the time or energy to do it. When you told Jimmy, he didn't want you to take the role of the character. He was further furious when Gigi accidentally disclosed at one of their family dinners, to which the two of you and the Model Squad were invited, that BTS Jungkook seemed smitten with you.

You could have killed your friend right then and then since they knew Jimmy was envious of any man who seemed remotely interested in you.

You and your mother were on your way home from a private appointment with your production professor about certain credits that would allow you to finish your music degree sooner. Your mother suggests that you conceal yourself in a stylish blond wig so that the paparazzi do not discover that you are attending university. Fortunately, no one recognized you because of your regular student appearance and large sunglasses.

Your mother observes your gloomy mental state. Your argument with Jimmy bothers you greatly.

"Chill out, hon, and let it slide. Maybe he's dealing with some stuff right now." Your mom shoots a glance at your distracted demeanor. You hate confrontations, and it's making you uneasy.

As you gaze into your mom's concerned, bright blue eyes, you let out a heavy sigh. "I was just a bit thrown off, mom. Jimmy was always cool about all the attention from other guys. It's not new for him. I'm a famous model. Oh my Goodness Mom! He got so worked up when Gigi innocently said, 'Kookie seems to like me..." Your forehead creases in frustration.

Maybe it was the knowledge that Jungkook and Lisa had secretly become a couple that made you feel so out of place for a couple of days. When he informed you about it a while ago, the fact that the two of them now live rent-free - is in your thoughts.

You dreamt about the two of them together and even went online discreetly to see if the Lizkook stories were true. There was footage from award shows of them staring at each other.

But you're no wiser because Big Hit didn't confirm any of the rumors, despite being seen with Nancy at one of her group members' 21st birthday party. He was observed leaving Nancy's residence early in the morning. It was a false rumor. He was allegedly with Taehyung when he dropped her off after the party. You have no idea what to believe.

Kookie is a closed book full of secrets. You'd better hope he didn't tell his group about the "night under the stars." They'll burn you both.

All he told you was that he is seeing Lisa again behind his agency's back and that he genuinely likes her. Although he still has feelings for you, you can't even go there since you still have soulmates out there, and you could hurt each other if you have to let go of each other after bonding with your new mates.

Jungkooks' soulmate will never allow you to get close to him. Who wants her attractive, sexy, and successful mate to hang around with hotter girls? She will be too insecure. You pray that he will choose his soulmate. You feel sorry for the Tarnished Lisa. She will be devastated if Kookie meets his soulmate, regardless of whether they are blue or red gold.

He will lose some or all of his affectionate feelings for both of you and Lisa. But in your situation, you genuinely love the maknae and hope that your coming string will be red gold, causing you to lose your romantic affection for him, but the blue string will cause you to still harbor deep feelings for Kookie.

"Mom, I'm a bit worried about this whole thing... I didn't realize Jimmy was like this. He's asking me to pass on that part in Tom's movie, but I hadn't even said yes yet. My agent's sorting that out," you exhale deeply. A long vacation is starting to sound real good.

Your mom looks concerned. "Honey... that fight you had a few days back really got to you, which we can't have. I told the Cosmo photographer you've been under the weather since last night. He needs to chill with his jealousy 'cause his ideas about Tom and Kookie ain't true."

You nod, but your big, tired brown eyes speak volumes. "I don't know why it hit me so hard, Mom. I like Jimmy and he treats me right. But this side of him makes me feel uneasy. Like he doesn't trust me. How's he gonna act if I gotta jet off to Seoul for a month to shoot commercials and...see old friends?"

Your mother exhaled heavily as she drove you into your penthouse's private parking lot.

"Think you wanna keep this thing going? With your crazy schedules, you're both crazy busy. Maintaining a celeb relationship is tough," your mom murmured gently.

"Exactly, mom. I was thinking of calling it quits. I just can't figure it out after our fight. I don't wanna be told who I can hang with or what job to take. I'm an adult now. Tom and I are just friends, even if he's asked me out a bunch. Oh man, Mom. Life's getting more and more tangled... I got Jimmy, but I still feel so alone, Mom... Like my life's all messed up," you clench your lips, feeling a bit of sting behind your eyes.

The only time you felt truly joyful was in Jungkook's arms. You felt so at ease with him. He understands you, and while you both profess your love for each other, you couldn't say it since you were both in a relationship limbo with Tarnished individuals, and you are soulmarked. Why can't you just get over Kookie? You had the feeling that something was wrong every time you spoke.

Your heart couldn't believe he was dating the stunning Thai rapper, and the fact that you and Lisa are both ambassadors for the jewelry brand makes you nervous. You were unnecessarily envious of her. She is currently dating the guy you are madly in love with.

You even speculated on how she would react if Jungkook found his soulmate. How will he even make the choice?

Your mother parked the car, and the two of you rode the elevator to your apartment. You just want to go to your room and unwind. You must return to Italy next month to shoot your Bulgari commercial with Blackpinks. Lisa, Jungkooks' secret girlfriend

Your mother just pressed your hand inside the elevator to reassure you.

"Baby, just do what makes you happy." She gives a gentle smile.

You only nodded, but you knew you'd forgive him because you tend to 'want 'to be loved by someone. You are aware that you may appear pitiful for not wanting to feel alone. You wish you might be so lucky to meet your beloved and get settled for life.

You and your mother decided to skip dinner because you both had an enjoyable lunch at a quiet downtown Manhattan hotel. You don't know what to feel right now.

In your room, you just jump into the shower to freshen before retiring to your bed. A fleeting glance at your phone reveals notifications from Jimmy, Gigi, and Kendall. You were all so busy that you couldn't even get together for your weekly lunches with your friends.

Kendall and Kylie were shooting episodes for their reality show, The Kardashians. Gigi and her soulmate visit her soulmate's relatives in England for a week. Bella was in Paris for a fashion show, while Jimmy was sulking in Texas.

Even though you used the time to study and complete your assignments, you still felt lonely. You and your mother had dinner with your dad and his new wife a day ago. But you couldn't relax in such stimulating company. Your thoughts were racing and you didn't feel at ease. Something seemed off. A yearning and aching for something concrete. Even your soulmark began to act. It was a very confusing period for you. Your neck was throbbing.

It felt weird after seeing a RunBts show. It seemed like someone put ice on the affected area surrounding your soulmark. And you immediately felt nervous. Is this a sign that your soulmate is aware of you? Is it finally time to meet him?

You felt a strange giddiness just thinking about the one created especially for you. Will he accept a celebrity as his soulmate? Will he be an average, hardworking guy? Wouldn't your celebrity and success make him feel threatened if he got an average 9 to 5 job?

All you want is to be loved and treasured.

You just sighed as you exited the hot shower. Under the invirso bind, your soul mark is extremely sensitive.

You stood in front of your bathroom mirror, staring at yourself, wondering if your soulmate would accept you as Zendaya, a girl in need of love and adoration.

You want your soulmate, not a soulmarked guy who the system has already matched with someone.

After your nightly skin routine, you exhale deeply as you pull your curly hair into a messy bun. You exhale and walk into your room, open your duvet cover, and just slip into bed to relax.

You grab your phone to respond to Gigi before she gets fit.

You: Hey, girl...

You noticed she was online.

Gigi: Hey Daya! You've been crazy busy lately. Thought you forgot about your London bestie.

You grin.

You: My bad; I did this shoot and interview for Cosmo. Meant to call you, but last week's drama with Jimmy got me all shook.

Gigi: Aw, sorry, bestie. I forgot he's still mad at Tom. You never even dated Tom. I get his feelings toward Tom, but why's he gotta lash out at Jungkook too? Now even our Kookie's on his hate list. Jimmy can be such a kid.

You: Gigi, he straight up told me not to do any movies with Tom. Now I'm rethinking the offer. It's not a big role, just to work on my acting. But I was so mad at Jimmy, I'm thinking of dumping him.

Gigi: Jimmy ain't ready to let you go. Even though he's accomplished like Kookie and Tom, he's feeling insecure. He loves you, Daya.

You: I know, but he says he'll let me go if I meet my soulmate. But he ain't letting go just yet.

Gigi: Take a chill pill. Maybe take a break from the relationship. OMG! Totally forgot to tell you, Zayn and his sis tagged along to a BTS concert at the O2 Arena last Tuesday. Jungkook got hurt and couldn't perform. The ARMY was bummed he couldn't dance, so he performed sitting down. Poor guy was crying 'cause he felt he let the ARMY down.

You could feel goosebumps running down your spine. Jungkook hurt himself. Oh my goodness! You haven't spoken to him over the weekend. What could have happened? You felt suddenly so concerned for his well-being.

Gigi, on the other hand, spoke as if she could read your worried thoughts.

Gigi: So, Bighit tweeted just before the event that Jungkook wouldn't perform due to a leg injury.

OMG! You missed the latest about the famous band. Haven't talked to him in a week. You've been avoiding chats 'cause you didn't want him to notice your vibe change.

You: Any idea what went down?

Gigi: Jung Kook was gently stretching in the waiting area after rehearsal, bumped into some furniture, and hurt his heel. Their med team handled it fast, but the injury's not major. Doing dance moves might mess it up more. Sorry about your bias. He felt super bummed and said sorry to the fans. But they get it.

You: Oh my Gosh! At least the show still rocked. Gonna hop online and watch all the fan vids of the performances. They're total pros.

Gigi: Ready for the Bulgari gig in a few weeks? I can't be there, but as a new Ambassador, I'll be cheering you on. Was surprised to learn Lisa from Blackpink's also repping, with Priyanka Chopra. You powerful ladies are killing it. Those jewels are insane.

You: I'm freaking out about hanging with Hollywood's heavy hitters. Still just 21.

Gigi: You won't be alone. Lisa's still young too. You guys might hit it off quick. Heard she's a fan of yours. Grew up watching Disney, loved your dance show. Nice chick, you'll click instantly.

You scoff a little to yourself before responding. You have a gut feeling that Lisa might seem to be aware of your and Jungkook's early connection and the dating scandal of your teenage years. You'd also try to dig up dirt to find out what happened to his ex-girlfriends. You have been featured in teen magazines as well as on -E-Entertainment Expose. You have a hunch Lisa will ask you about your friendship with Jungkook, and you hope you can be pleasant with each other during the shoot and company dinner.

You: Gi, gotta jet. Great chatting with ya. Might peep their Euro Tour vids.

Gigi: Don't stress 'bout the Jimmy thing. You'll work it out. Don't ghost him, though. Kendell's soulmate mentioned he's been antsy 'cause you haven't hit him up in three days. Sort it out, girl. You know you get anxious over little things.

You: Yup. He's been showering me with flowers, chocolates, Hermes bags, and my fave scents. But his attitude's been bugging me. Then his pregnant soulmate throws some subtle shade on my latest GQ cover shoot on Twitter, saying I look fake. I know it's her account. Asked Jimmy, and he confirmed. But I'm cool.

Gigi: Dang! So she's the one hatin' on you, body-shaming, saying your career's stuck, and you're stress-losing weight, turned down the Russian construction worker soulmate. What nerve. Good thing your PR shut down those claims. She's such a hater.

You: That's why I'm torn between cutting ties with Jimmy so he can step up as a dad, or just ditching men altogether. Wanna be free, but being public with Jimmy stops rumors and shields me from unwanted attention.

Gigi: Your life's a mess, Daya. Take it slow with Jimmy. Enjoy his company, but promise me once you meet your soulmate you'll drop Jimmy pronto.

You: That's the plan. Gotta bounce now to hit up Jimmy's texts. Take care, say hi to Zayn for me. I'll update you on the Italy thing. Maybe we'll grab lunch in Venice.

Gigi: Sounds awesome. Later, girlfriend!

You: Bye

You stop the chat and breathe deeply before falling back on your soft bed. You go through Jimmy's text messages.

He was immediately online. You take a deep breath in.

Jimmy: Hey, babe, I messed up. My bad for acting like a jerk. I love you and just needed to vent. Didn't mean to step on your toes by telling you what to do. Truly sorry.

You: Totally! You were acting all crazy. I was livid with how you handled things. Please, don't pull that again.

Jimmy: I'm sorry, love. I know I overreacted. I just don't dig Tom Holland. He's got a thing for you, Daya. Figured he pushed for you as the lead in his flick to get close to you.

You: Jimmy, when his director approached my managers a year back, I was hesitant. But I'm mulling over a different direction in my career. I'm not the main lead; there's already a female lead. Tom's suggesting a cameo. He's a close friend, and I don't want you feeling weird about my male friends. They've been around way before you came into the picture.

Jimmy: Got it. I'll work on my jealousy. I was just worried he might be your soulmate. Haven't seen you two together since your birthday, and the tabloids made it seem like you two clicked. He looked super happy.

You: Jimmy, if I had met my soulmate, I'd have told you. Why hide something so big? I dig you and don't wanna hurt you.

Jimmy: Are we cool?

You: For sure.

Jimmy: How 'bout chilling together in Busan? You'll be in Korea by Jan or Feb. We can kick it at the beach for the last two weeks after your shoot. Ran into some Asian buddies from Busan during the games that I knew from Texas.

You felt a sharp tightening in your chest. It is located in Jungkook's hometown. And, even if you're dating other people, you promise Kookie that if he's available, you'll spend some time alone on Yoongis' yacht. You will be there as friends. Jimmy had suspicions that Kookie was from Busan. He went online to research the young maknae after Gigi spilled the beans, and he was insistent about not letting you out of his sight in Seoul. He was aware that by the time you arrived in Seoul, Bangtan might still be on tour. He is even aware of the tour dates. You were curious as to why he was so hesitant to let you meet BTS. You just hope he didn't find out about your relationship a few years back because that would make him particularly clinging.

You: Are you worried about leaving me in Seoul? There's nothing going on between me and Jungkook, Jimmy. Being a bias just means... I admire him as a fan. And I've already told you I'm not ready to activate the soulmate bond with the system.

You felt a bit hypocritical because not long ago, you were with Jungkook. But both of you were lucky not to have been morally summoned. Jungkook even mentioned he'd never received a summons. Fortunately, you haven't been soulmarked yet.

Jimmy: I get it, babe. I just want to be by your side. I'll wait until you're ready. And if you find your soulmate and get a yellow string, we can start planning our future together. I'll stick to my word and let you go.

You let out a snort. Like that's going to happen.

You: Long as you keep your word. If I'm a blue string and my soulmate wants me, I'm out of this relationship, alright?

Jimmy: It's gonna hurt, but hey, I'll deal with it.

You: Alright, it's a deal then.

Jimmy: I'll be back in two days. Wanna grab dinner together?

You: That sounds great. Thanks for the apology gifts, the bags are awesome. I've got a Louis Vuitton shoot next week, so we'll dine out then.

Jimmy: Love you, baby. Stay safe and healthy. I miss you like crazy. Don't stay mad at me.

You: Miss you too, and I'll stay chill. Take care of yourself, and try not to get hurt.

You both quit the conversation and you merely shook your head in bewilderment. Jimmy wants to take your relationship to the next level, but you are not ready to be with another man. Unless your soulmate rejects you, you will give your everything to your current relationship and marry Jimmy one day.

You felt a heavy burden lifted from your shoulders, glad that the air between you and Jimmy is cleared up.

But you know deep down Jimmy can never, ever find out about you and Jungkook especially when you will secretly meet him on Yoongis'yacht.
