"So, Dri.. how you liking our school so far?" Henry tilted his head at me

"Eh, it's pretty cool."

"Glad you're warming up so easily." Charotte smiled

We glanced around the hallways and spotted Jasper talking to his friends.

"You ain't got no woman." Oliver teased

"I do, she just lives out of town." Jasper reasoned

"Psh. Yeah right."

"Can you believe him?"

"Oh, sure, just exit laughing." he spat out as the other boys left

Henry, Charlotte, and I walked up to him.

"Hey." I greeted

"How you doin' Jasp?" Henry asked

"I'm doing mad. Can't you believe those guys think I'm lying about having a girlfriend?"

"Yeah.."

"You guys don't believe me either?"

"Well, we believe.."

"That you're lying."

"Come on, guys, it's rude to assume people." I put my hand on Jasper's shoulder

"See! She gets it!"

"But I still think you're lying."

"But I've been telling you guys about Courtney ever since I got back from summer camp."

"Jasper." Charlotte placed her hand on his arm "You don't have to make things up to impress us."

"I'd never make up a lie just to impress you guys."

"Really?" Henry asked "Third grade."

Jasper looked at him, confused.

"You pulled out a bag of dirt from your pocket and told me it came from Jupiter."

"I thought it did! Back then I didn't know you can't trust guys in van who sell space dirt."

"Dude, you'll get a girlfriend someday." I reassured

"But if not, you can get a pet." Charlotte suggested

"You can get a rabbit for like, twenty bucks." Henry said

"I don't need a rabbit." Jasper spat out "I got a girl and her name is Courtney, whether you believe it or not."

"And what's Courtney's last name?" Henry asked

"Sham."

I snickered "And what city is she from?"

"Fibberton."

"Alright, why don't you invite 'Courtney Sham from Fibberton' here at Swellview so we could all meet her."

"Yeah, Tell her she can stay at my house." Charlotte offered

"Maybe I will!"

Henry and my dad were playing ping-pong in the Man Cave.

"Here it comes!"

"Bring it, son."

"Yeah, I'll bring it."

"You got nothing."

"What do you call this?"

Henry hit the ball but my dad hit it back to him.

"Lame!"

"You got this, Hen!"

"Oh seriously!? You're rooting for him?"

"Duh."

"Hey guy, Harrison Ford just crash landed his airplane in the Jandy River." Schwoz chimed in

"Again?" I questioned

"Isn't this like, his third plane crash?" my dad remarked

He hit the ball too hard which made Henry miss it.

"Dah!" Henry groaned

"Twenty-one to nineteen, I win again." my dad danced around

"Dangit! Dangit! Friggin dipthong kumquat dang dang it!" Henry blurted out

His expression changed into a calmer one "Good game."

"Thanks." my dad turned away "Now. Let's blow a bubble."

"And get Harrison Ford out of trouble." I continued as I popped a gumball in my mouth.

I blew the bubble which made me transform into my Danger Girl uniform.

Captain Man turned to me and Kid Danger "Let's go."

I hugged Henry's waist and tapped my belt buckle, only to reveal a dirty tube.

"What the?" Captain Man stared at our tube in shock

"What is all over our tube?" I asked
as Captain Man made the tubes go up

Kid Danger stepped off the platform and sighed "Okay."

Schwoz signaled him no.

"Yesterday, Schwoz told me to go up the tube with a hot nacho platter and the suckage made the cheese and the refried beans go everywhere." Kid Danger explained

"Schwoz!?" Captain Man scolded

"My sister is in town, and she wanted a taste of Mexico!" Schwoz reasoned

"Well, now, both of you are going to clean that whole tube."

"Oof."

Captain Man turned to me "You too, young lady!"

"Dangit." I groaned

"Oh, come on." Schwoz groaned

"The tube is, like, a hundred feet tall." Kid Danger said

"Well, you should've thought of that before you tried to fly up it with a hot sloppy snack." I scolded

"Wait, wait, what?" Schwoz put the phone against his ear "Okay." Schwoz turned to us "Harrison Ford's airplane just sank."

We all sighed.

"You guys should go save him."

"We will." Kid Danger said before turning to Captain Man "After one more quick game?"

"We can't ju- my serve." the walked over to the ping-pong table.

"Must I do everything myself?" I walked under my dad's tube and pressed my belt buckle.

I walked down the stairs to Henry's locker since some of my textbooks are in his locker because I have some classes downstairs.

"Hey, I just need to get a few stuff from your locker."

"Go ahead." Henry opened his locker for me as I grabbed my textbooks

"Hey, how come Jasper wasn't in class last period?"  Charlotte asked

"I don't know. He asked Miss Shapen if he could skip class, and she said 'Yeah, sure, just leave me like every man does.'"

I saw Jasper walk in with some chick, which made my attention turn from Henry's hair to them.

"Wow. Cool school." the girl said

"Thanks. Oh, Charlotte, Dria, Henry. Didn't expect to see you three here."

"Why?" I ask

"We go to school here everyday." Charlotte said

"And this is where the lockers are." Henry added

"Ha, ha. Too true." Jasper laughed before wrapping his arms around the girl "Too true."

We all stared at him dumbfounded.

"So, I'd like you to meet my girl, Courtney."

"Hi. It's so great to meet you guys." she smiled "Jasper's told me so much about you."

"Okay, did he find you at a bus stop?" Charlotte asked

"Did he pay you fifty cents to come here and pretend to be his girlfriend?" Henry asked

"Guys," I sighed "it's rude to underestimate people."

"Thank you!" Jasper sighed

"Come on, Courtney. How much did Jasper actually pay you?"

"Look at her." Jasper gestured to Courtney

"He's your boyfriend?" Charlotte asked

"Well, I sure hope so." Courtney grinned "I just rode a bus three hundred miles from Fibberton to see him."

"I paid twenty percent of her bus ticket."

"So, how come this is the first time she's been to Swellview?" Henry asked

"Because I don't have a guest room in my house. So when Charlotte said she could stay at her place, I invited her to come here."

"But I didn't know she was real."

"Well she is."

"She's hot." I nodded

"Wanna feel her face?" Jasper offered

"No." I replied

"I guess I'll call my mom and let her know you're coming over." Charlotte said as she walked away

"Great."

"Super."

Jasper turned to Courtney "Hey, wait here. I'm go to go get the guys and bring them here to show them that you really exist." he ran away

"Hey guys!" Jasper yelled out

I looked at Henry up and down and placed my head on his shoulder since he was a few inches taller than me.

"Since when did you get this tall?" I grin

He smirked "Not my fault you're short." Henry said, making me lightly smack the back of his head

"Are you guys like a couple?" Courtney asked

"No." we both said in unison as I removed my head from his shoulder

Henry tried to change the subject "Wow. You seem awesome."

"Jasper's a lucky guy." I added

"Thanks." she smiled "He says really nice things about you guys and Charlotte."

"Well Jasper's been our best friend for a long time, and he loves Charlotte."

I smacked Henry in the arm, signaling for him to stop.

"Yeah." her expression quickly changed "What do you mean."

"Huh?" Henry asked

"You said Jasper loves Charlotte."

"Yeah, you know, they like.."

"Henry. Stop. Talking." I whsipered

Henry finally realised "Oh, no, no, wait, wait. I didn't mean he loves her."

"Are there any girls around here Jasper is in love with?" Courtney held onto my neck tightly "Is Jasper in love with you!?"

"No. So please don't touch me or else you won't have any fingers to touch me."

She backed away and let go of my neck "Oh, great. So he is in love with Charlotte!"

"No. They just, they're just really close and it's like--"

"Henry, you're making things worse." I whispered

"Oh my God!"

Charlotte walked back in "Hi. So I talked to my mom. She said it's no problem and that even Dria can come over if she wanted to."

"Good." Courtney said as she glared at Charlotte

Charlotte turned to Henry and I in confusion.

I followed behind Charlotte as she walked in her room.

"Hey."

"'Sup?"

"Hey."

"You guys got enough pillows?" Charlotte asked

"Yep."

"Yeah.. so, I was trying to use this remote to turn on your ceiling fan, but it was making a weird noise." Courtney pointed out

"Hmm. I've never had a problem with it."

"Well, I think something looks broken. See, both of you just stand right underneath and look up."

"Alright."

Charlotte and I stood underneath the fan but I noticed it looked a bit loose.

I quickly pushed Charlotte out of the way but the fan sliced my cheek.

"What the hell!?" I yelled out

"Dria, you're bleeding!"

"Wow. How about that?" Courtney shrugged

I glared at her.

"Good night." she smirked in an evil way before slowly lying on the bed

I came down to the Man Cave with Schwoz and saw Henry and my dad playing ping-pong again.

Schwoz blew a horn which made Henry lose.

My dad chuckled "And I win again!"

"No.." Henry groaned

"And that means I keep.." he pulled out a golden belt "The ping-pong championship belt."

"But Schwoz distracted me--" Henry noticed the scar on my cheek "Dri? What happened to you?"

"Courtney happened to me!" I lashed out which made Henry raise his arms in defense.

"Mind explaining?"

"No." I crossed my arms as Henry touched my cheek

"Hey. ping-pong is about three things. Paddles, staying focused, and small plastic balls." my dad counted

Henry sighed "Why'd you walk in here and blow that thing?" he turned to Schwoz

"I found it in a dumpster."

I heard a beeping sound and the dirty tube came down.

"Ugh, gross. You guys still haven't cleaned that tube?" my dad asked as Charlotte came down the tube.

"Hello."

"Hey, Char. "

"Hi."

"No thanks, I just ate a taco. " Charlotte replied as she walked away

"What's up with you guys?" Henry asked

"Worry about them later, right now, you, Dria, and Schwoz are going to clean that tube." my dad commanded

"Or.." Henry chimed in "I challenge you."

"To what?"

"To another game of ping-pong."

"Huh."

"If I lose, me, Schwoz, and Dri clean the tube. If you lose, you clean it."

"While wearing ducky pajamas." my dad added

"No, don't make this bet!" Schwoz protested

"It's a bet."

"Doh!" he groaned "He made it despite my protests!"

"Hey. Dri, Char." Henry walked closer to us

No response.

"Dri, Char."

"Audrianna, Charlotte."

"Audrianna." he tapped my shoulder

"What!?" I jolted "What, what, what!?"

"Why are you and Charlotte looking at pics of Jasper's girlfriend?"

"Because she's trying to kill us." Charlotte replied

"What?"

"Last night, I think she loosened some bolts on Char's ceiling fan. Because it fell, almost took our head off, and gave me a scar."

"Why would Courtney want to hurt you two?"

"I don't know, but she's acting all jealous. Why would she be jealous of me and Dria?"

"Uh.."

"Oh, I don't know. Maybe because Henry gave her the idea of Jasper being in love with us!?" I glared at Henry

"Well, why would you say that!?" Charlotte asked

"Because he does love you guys! As a friend. But she didn't get that."

"Yeah, all she got was a reason to kill me and Charlotte!"

"Well, what do you want me to do?" Henry asked

"Help us tell Jasper that his girlfriend is a crazy jealous lunatic." I demanded

"He'll never believe us."

Charlotte paced around "Okay. Then we're going to tell him, and we're going to show him."

"How?" Henry questioned

"You and Jasper are going to hide in Charlotte's room tonight, and he'll see for himself how koo-koo his girlfriend is."

"Ah, I don't know."

"Pleeeeease." Charlotte begged

"Do you still keep that dish of gummy bears by your closet door?"

"She has a gummy dish!?" my eyes widened

"Yeah?"

"Okay, I'll do it."

I saw Henry creep in Charlotte's room and give us a thumbs up sign.

I placed my finger over my mouth, shushing him.

Jasper slowly opened the chest he was inside of before slowly went back in.

Henry tried to grab a gummy bear but Courtney started to wake up.

Charlotte shooed Henry off as he closed the door.

I saw Courtney sit up and turned on the light "Hi. How are ya?"

"Why did you get out of bed?" Charlotte asked

"Oh, I just needed to use the bathroom." Courtney reasoned

"Wait." I stopped her

"Yeah?" Courtney turned to us and Charlotte and I got out of bed

"Listen. I know Henry told you that Jasper loves us." I said

"Oh. Well, yeah. He did." Courtney agreed

"Right. But I want you to understand, he meant just as friends." Charlotte reassured

I caught Henry eating Charlotte's gummy bears and I chased him off.

"We promise we're not trying to take Jasper away from you." Charlotte said

The chest opened slightly but Charlotte shut it off quickly "Or anything like that."

"Oh. Well, thanks. I really appreciate you guys for telling me." Courtney took her suitcase and headed outside the room

Jasper and Henry got out of their hiding places.

"See? She's not insane." Jasper reassured "You both owe me an apology."

"No, she may be acting nice now, but we're telling you, she needs help.." I said

"I think she seems pretty nice." Henry disagreed

"Explain the ceiling fan almost falling on our heads." Charlotte agreed

Courtney barged in, wearing a viking hat and a chainsaw.

"Stay away from my man!!"

"Henry, Audrianna!" Charlotte screamed

I pushed Courtney onto the floor but she started chasing me with the chainsaw.

"Pazzo geloso!" I shouted
(Crazy lunatic!)

She started chasing Henry with the chainsaw while Jasper just threw stuff at her.

Courtney was now standing by the windowsill but Henry threw a big cushion at her, making her fall out the window.

"I'll get you for that! I'll get you!"

"Okay, maybe she needs help." Jasper blurted out

We stared at him.

My dad and Henry were playing ping-pong again.

They started throwing the ping-pong ball quickly at each other until it hit Henry in the head.

"Haha! Yeah." my dad laughed "That's seventeen to twenty. One more point and I win."

"I know how ping-pong scoring works." Henry spat out as I rubbed his back, trying to calm him down

"Your serve."

Henry and I smirked at each other.

"Are you stalling?" my dad asked

"No, it's just Schwoz is supposed to be here and he's late, so.."

"Kid, it's game point. Just serve. Lose, and get to scrubbing the filthy tube."

Schwoz walked in with a fat man "Hey, guys. Ray, this is Larry." he gestured to the fat man

"What, are you crazy? You can't bring people down to the Man Cave."

"Larry is family. You said I could bring anyone in my family down here except for my sister that looks like a horse."

"Oh. Alright." my dad gave in "But I'm just about to beat Henry at ping-pong so if you guys--"

"Just a sec." I stopped him "Larry, right there." I pointed to the spot behind Henry

Larry started taking off his shirt.

"What's happening?" my dad asked

I turned to my dad "You said that ping-pong is about staying focused."

"Yeah, but what's the--"

Henry played some music and Larry started dancing.

"Work it, Larry!" I cheered

Henry hit the ball and my dad missed it.

"Eighteen-twenty." Henry

"Eighteen-twenty!!" I repeated

"Wait a minute, I wasn't ready."

"Gotta stay focused." I reminded my dad

Larry continued to dance.

I couldn't help but notice my dad getting distracted by Larry and grinned to myself.

My dad missed again.

"Nineteen-twenty." Henry teased

"Go, Henry!" I cheered

"Nineteen-twenty!"

Larry continued to dance, this time he was on a jump rope.

My dad missed again.

And again..

And again.

Larry started bouncing on a bouncy ball with a siren on his head and my dad covered his face which made him miss again.

"You cannot be serious!" my dad yelled out, staring at Larry who was eating spaghetti with a dog.

Poor dog.

My dad looked at Larry in shock which made him miss the ball.

"Ha, ha! Twenty-two-twenty!" Henry Saidxclaimed "The kid wins!" he threw his ping-pong paddle

"You did it!" I pulled him into a tight hug

Henry took off my dad's ping-pong belt and held it up as we danced around.

Henry, Schwoz, and I were eating take-out while my dad was scrubbing the tube.

"You're doing great, dad."

"Keep it up, Ray."

I smiled at Henry as he shoved a sushi in my mouth which made me laugh.

"Hey! Stop shoving sushi in my mouth, I'm gonna choke!" I grinned

He chuckled "Shut up, I know you love sushi."

"Stop, I don't!" I giggled
