Captain Man, Kid Danger, and I got shot down the tubes.

"Hey, how'd it go?" Charlotte asked

"Oh, man, it was insane." I smiled widely as I stepped off the platform

"It was nuts." Kid Danger agreed

"Well, tell me. What happened?"

"Okay. The news helicopter was flying around over Swellview, just going in circles." Captain Man began

"Because the helicopter pilot fell asleep at the controls."

"And did you guys figure out a way to wake him up?"

"No." I said casually "We just watched the helicopter fly around in circles."

"Until it ran out of gas and fell right down into the Jandy River." Kid Danger added

"And you guys didn't do anything?"

"I got a video of it going down."

"Send me the vid." I pointed at Kid Danger as he nodded at me

"What about the pilot? Was he hurt?" Charlotte asked

"No. Just wet." I shook my head

"So very wet." Captain Man smiled

Kid Danger's phone beeped. He checked the message and groaned "Another text from Jasper. That's eleven texts in the last hour."

"I got nine" Charlotte said

"Only nine and eleven? I got seventeen." I furrowed my eyebrows

Captain Man stood up "Man, what's up with that Jasper kid? Doesn't he have any other friends?"

"Well, yeah, but not the kind you'd be, you know.. proud of." Charlotte explained

"We're his best friends." Kid Danger added "But now because we work for you, we end up having to leave him alone all the time."

"I feel really bad for him." I stood behind Kid Danger on the sofa

"Yeah.. you guys hungry?" Captain Man raised his hand "Who wants Greek food?"

"Dad." I stared at him in disbelief

"Ray, we just told you about a real problem we have with our friend." Kid Danger scolded

"And all you can say is 'Who wants Greek food?'." Charlotte added

Captain Man raised his hand higher.

We all groaned in pleasure.

"Man, I love these 'jye-rose' that's how you say it you know? 'jye-rose'." My dad said as we all nodded  "You try."

"Jye-rose." we all said with ease

"Perfect."

"Hey, so back to our problem with Jasper--" Henry began but my dad cut him off with his groan

"Don't groan. He's our friend." Charlotte scolded

"Yeah, and it's not cool how we always have to lie to him and leave him alone when you need us at work." I agreed

"Okay, here's an idea."

"Go ahead."

"What?"

"What you got?"

"One night soon, we go to Jasper's house.." my dad began

"Mhm."

"We sneak into his room.."

"Yeah.."

"Okay."

"And brain wipe his memory so he doesn't remember neither one of you."

"Dad."

"What?"

"No."

"Friends don't wipe friends' brains." I scolded

"Yeah, yeah. Pass the lamb balls."

"Fine." I rolled my eyes and passed him the bowl of lamb balls "Poor lamb."

"Anyway. I got a better idea." Henry stated

"What?"

"I say that we just tell Jasper that I'm Kid Danger and she's Danger Girl." Henry pointed over to me

My dad spat out his drink.

"That was charming." Charlotte blurted out

"No! No, no, no, no. No, sir."

"Oh, why not?" Charlotte asked "What's the worst thing that could happen?"

"Uh. The worst thing is if Jasper blabs it all over the place, and then everyone knows Henry and Dria are Kid Danger and Danger Girl, and then bad guys follow them and find out that they work here," my dad stood up "--so then they know how to find us, so then they could just blow up this whole place. And they could also figure out where Henry's house is, which puts him and his whole family in major danger!"

"Wow. I can't believe my father cares more about my best friend's mom over his daughter. I feel so loved." I glared at him

He ignored me "Nobody is going to tell Jasper or anyone else that Henry and Dria's Kid Danger and Danger Girl."

Henry stood up "Come on, what if I promise you he'll keep the secret?"

"You can't guarantee that."

"Alright, why don't we just test Jasper and see?" Charlotte suggested

"Yes." Henry pointed to her "Good."

"What are you guys talking about!?"

"We'll make up some big old juicy secret." I said

"Ugh."

"And then, if he keeps that secret for a week, we know we can trust him." Henry added

"What do you think?" Charlotte asked

"Okay. But I get to pick the fake secret." my dad smirked

"Sure."

"Done deal, man."

My dad sat back down "Okay then."

"So, what secret do you want them to tell him?" Charlotte asked

"That Dria and Henry.. are boyfriend and girlfriend." my dad formed a peace sign with his hand and smirked

My eyes went wide as me and Henry looked at each other.

"Ewww!" we both said in unison before turning back to each other "Hey!"

My dad smirked at us.

I was at Henry's house preparing the table for the dinner we set up with Jasper.

"Who's gonna start?" Henry asked

"You start."

"No, you start."

"I don't want to start."

"It's my house, I make the rules."

"Well, why'd you ask me who's going to start if you knew you wanted me to start?"

"Are you serious?"

We both talked at once until Jasper walked in "Hey guys!"

I turned to Jasper "Hi, there Jasper."

"Oh, hey, Jasper."

"So why'd you guys invite me to dinner?" Jasper walked in the kitchen

"Pfft. What do you mean why?" Henry asked

"Friends don't need a reason to invite a friend for dinner, right?"

"I guess." Jasper shrugged

"Although we do have a reason." Henry said

"There is a reason." I continued

"But first, did you see we made your favorite dinner?" he gestured over to the food on the table

Jasper gasped "Fish sticks and peas!" He clapped in excitement

"Yeah, sit down." I pulled out his chair before sitting in mine

Once we all sat down, I looked at Henry and nodded.

"Uh.. so, we have something we kind of want to tell you." Henry began "But first, you have to promise, you got to swear that you'll never tell anyone this secret."

Jasper shrugged "No worries. I can keep a secret."

"Can you?" Henry asked

"Yeah. I never told Dria that you watched The Notebook without her."

Henry covered his mouth in shock.

"What!?" I ask

"You did not just say that!"

"You watched The Notebook without me!?"

"We're getting off track here!" Henry calmed down "Now. We want to tell you a big secret, but you got to seriously swear that you'll never tell anyone."

"Ever, ever." I glared at Jasper

Jasper licked two fingers and held it up "I swear on The Notebook."

"Stop mentioning The Notebook!"

"I'm never watching The Notebook with you ever again!!"

"I had to watch it, because you were never 'in the mood' to watch!"

I looked at him in disbelief before urging him to tell Jasper the secret.

"Dri and I are boyfriend and girlfriend." Henry spat out

Jasper's mouth was agape "You?" he pointed to Henry and he nodded "She?" he pointed to me and I nodded "You and she?"

Jasper pointed to Henry and he nodded "You and him?" he stuttered before dumping the whole bowl of peas in his shirt

"Dahhhh!!" he sighed in relief "What!?"

"It's true." I reassured

"You guys are dating!?"

"We are."

"We're deep in love."

"Wow. So you guys, like, kiss and stuff?" Jasper smiled widely which made me and Henry's eyes widen

Henry shook his head "no".

"Mhmm. We sure do." I blurted out

"We kiss alot."

"Can I see?" Jasper whispered

"Well, we can't kiss right now." I protested

"Why not?"

"Uh. Because, Dri has a mouth sore." Henry lied

"Excuse me?"

Jasper turned to me "Ewww, gross."

"Yeah, it's real gross. Henry why don't you take me to the mouth doctor?"

"Sure, baby." we both stood up and ran out the kitchen

"Wait, it's nighttime. I think all the doctors are closed."

"Remember, you promised that you'd never tell anyone that we are boyfriend and girlfriend." I remarked

"Okay but where are you going to take Dria--" we left before Jasper could finish

We were at Junk N' Stuff. I was cleaning the dinosaur's mouth with Charlotte and Henry.

"So, you guys told Jasper yesterday, huh?" my dad smirked

"Yep."

"We did."

"Ha. I bet he's already blabbed it to every kid in your school. And if he did, it meeeans I was right and you were wrong, I was right and you were wrong, I was right and you were wrong." my dad sang

"Hey!" I pointed out to him "That song's really repetitive."

Jasper walked in the store, making Henry, Charlotte, and I shush my dad.

"I wasn't talking."

"Hey, Jasper."

"Sup' Jasp?"

"What are you doing here?"

"I can't stop thinking about what you guys told me last night." Jasper whispered

Henry and I shushed Jasper.

"I didn't say anything." he whispered "But man, this secret is really hard to keep."

My dad cleared his throat "Excuse me, excuse me." he walked closer to us "Henry, Dria, and Charlotte. I'm going to need you guys to go down to the basement and mop the walls."

"Since when did we have to mop the walls?" Henry asked

My dad looked at his watch "Since now."

"I already did that last week." I remarked

"Then do it again."

"But our friend Jasper's here and--" Charlotte got cut off

"Oh, hey, no worries. I'll keep your little friend company." he offered

This sounds fishy.

We all looked at each other before the three of us walked to the backroom while shushing Jasper.

We went down to the Man Cave and checked the CCTV cameras of Junk N' Stuff.

"So here's the thing, I think you know something about Dria and Henry. Liiike maybe a secret?" my dad teased

Jasper groaned.

"Aw, my dad's playing dirty."

"We should've made a rule against bucket temptation." Charlotte said

"Yeah, I think Henry and Dria have a secret, and I think you know what it is." he pointed to Jasper "And I'm not gonna sell a King Tut's golden bucket to a boy who would keep secrets from me."

"But- but that's not fair!"

"Hmm, life isn't fair, son. You know what life often is?"

"What?"

"Unfair."

Jasper groaned.

"Come on, Jasp."

"Stay strong."

"Just tell me what you know. And you'll be walking out of here with King Tut's golden bucket right in your sweaty hands."

"Can I tell you a secret about someone else?"

"No."

"Uhm, my mom steals butter from restaurants."

"Don't care."

"Not surprised." Henry spat out

"Dria has a crush on Henry!"

All of our eyes widened.

"You do?" Henry turned to me

"He did not just say that!" I yelled

"I thought she was being obvious." Charlotte shruggef

"Everyone knows."

"Will you please sell me the bucket?" Jasper begged

"Tell me the secret!"

Jasper groaned and ran around the store, before running out the door.

We all sighed in relief.

"You really have a crush on me?" Henry asked

"Shut up! Oh my God." I covered my face in embarassment

I got a text on my phone from Jasper.

"Who's that?" Henry asked

"Jasper. He just got off the bus and he's on his way here."

"Ohhh. You mean our friend who's kept the secret we told him?" he walked closer to me

"That's the Jasper." I smiled before we all turned to my dad

"The deal is he's got to keep your fake secret for a whole week." my dad remarked

"Only two days to go." Henry teased

"oNlY tWo dAyS tO gO." My dad mocked him

Jasper walked in the store "Heeey, guys."

"Oh, hey."

"Ciaó."

"Come to hang?"

"Nope. I'm here to talk to your boss." Jasper crossed his arms

"Well goood. I like talking to you." my dad crossed his arms

"Uhm, well, actually, Ray's really busy and we got alot of--"

"Hey! Henry, Dria, Charlotte. Please go down to the basement aaand rotate the light bulbs."

"Rotate the light bulbs?" Henry asked

"I did that last month." I remarked

"What does that even mean?" Charlotte asked

"It means I want you to unscrew all the light bulbs and then screw them back in again." he snapped his fingers "Off you go."

We all walked to the backroom while shushing Jasper.

"If you want me to sell you this bucket," my dad snapped his fingers "You better start talking."

"Keep the secret buddy."

"Don't fail us like what you did to me."

"Don't break Jasper."

"I will not tell you my secret. This is a simple business transaction. My sixty dollars for King Tut's bucket."

"No deal."

"Come on!!"

"I'll tell you what. You can have it for free." he waved the bucket around to tempt him

"Free?"

"Just tell me your little secret."

"Oh, man, this is intense."

"Do we really have to unscrew and rescrew all these lightbulbs?"

"No. Shh." Henry shushed her

"Don't bother, I did them last month." I whispered to Charlotte

"What's it gonna be, boy?"

Jasper groaned.

"Bucket. For. The secret." my dad moved the bucket closer to Jasper's face

"Ahhh! One sec!" he grabbed a taser out of nowhere and tased himself

Jasper sighed in relief and put the taser back in his pocket "I will not tell you my secret."

"Yeah!"

"Attaboy, Jasper!"

"Stay strong!"

"Hold on, I'll be right back." my dad walked in the backrooms but turned back to take the bucket.

He eventually walked out the elevator and saw us smirking at him.

"Ohhhh, you guys think you're sooo smart." my dad stepped over the couch

I turned to him "No, we think we're so right."

"You're just mad because we proved that Jasper can keep a secret." Charlotte teased

"It's not over yet." he placed his hand on the auto-snacker "One french fry."

"One french fry." the auto-snacker repeated

My dad took out the french fry from the machine.

"Wait. What are you going to do witht that french fry?" I glared at him

"This." he ate the fry

Henry stood up "Aw, Ray, don't feel bad just because.."

"We were right and you were wrong, we were right and you were wrong, we were right and you were wrong!" Henry, Charlotte, and I sang in unison

My dad hit the elevator button and walked in "Don't count your Jaspers before they hatch." he kept the smug look on his face

"What do you think he meant by that?"

"I don't know. But I think it's from the Bible.."

"I have a hundred dollars here. If you'll--"

"Stop. I'll sell it to you for ten bucks."

"Just ten dollars?"

"Why'd he drop the price to ten?" Henry wondered

"That's too low for a Tut Bucket." Charlotte pointed out

"My dad likes to play dirty."

"Well, you going to buy the bucket?"

"I'm not telling you my secret."

"You don't need to. Henry and Dria just told me down in the basement."

"Really? They told you they're boyfriend and girlfriend?"

My dad turned to him with an evil smile on his face "No.. but you just did!" he cackled

Jasper groaned "Noo!"

"Dangit!" we all yelled

"Stupido... abbiamo quasi vinto!!" I yelled

My dad faced the CCTV camera "I was right and you were wrong, I was right and you were wrong!"

"Will you mute him!?" Charlotte scolded

"I'm trying!!" Henry yelled

I grabbed my laser and zapped the monitor, causing it to shut off.

"So, why'd you guys break up?" Jasper asked

Henry and I looked at each other for a moment.

"Because he watched The Notebook without me."

"She has mouth sores."

"Well, even though you guys broke up, can't I just see you kiss once?"

"Can't stop me from thinking about it." Jasper smirked as we both looked at him in disbelief
