"Hey guys, I got the lightbulbs!" Henry beamed as he walked in the store

"Surprise!" we all jumped out which made Henry drop the lightbulbs, causing it all to shatter.

"What was that for!?" he asked "It's not my birthday!"

"We know." my dad said

"Give me your head." I started spraying Henry's hair with hairspray

"You little buddy, are gonna be on television."

"I'll get the shirt." Gooch ran to the backroom

"Shirt? Wait. What are you rubbing on my face?" Henry turned to my dad

"Makeup."

"Why?"

"You're gonna be on Spin and Win." Charlotte exclaimed

"The gameshow!?"

"Yep."

"Hey, which shirt should Henry wear? Gooch one or Gooch two?"

"Neither." I glared at him

"Oh, come on. Gooch is the new black." Gooch said

"Just pick a different shirt." my dad demanded

"Alright." Henry pushed our tools away "Can someone tell me why we're doing this?"

"The three of us will tell you." I said

"Alternating?"

"Sure, you start."

My dad turned Henry towards him "You know those weird burglaries that have been happening all over town?"

Charlotte turned Henry towards her and started brushing his hair "And how the police have no idea how the burglars are getting in or out of the people's houses?"

I started spraying his hair with hairspray "Well, Charlotte figured out that in every one of the houses that had been burglarized, someone had recently been on Spin and Win and won."

Charlotte turned Henry towards her "But then, all the winners' prizes were stolen from their houses."

Henry nodded "You guys realize there's broken glass all over the floor."

"How about this one?" Gooch held up a red plaid shirt

"Cute." I grinned

"I like it." Charlotte turned to Henry "Pop that ugly shirt off."

"Why do I have to change clothes?"

"Because you're going to be on TV, boy!" My dad said in a weird voice

"Don't you wanna, look gooood?" Charlotte asked

"I thought I looked gooood before I came in here."

"Ehhhhhh." my dad and Charlotte both said

"He did." I whispered to myself

"Man, I can't believe I'm going to be on Spin and Win."

"Hey, what if Henry doesn't win?" Gooch questioned

"He better win." I said

"Why?"

"So you'll get the prizes.." my dad said

"And then we wait at your house to see if you get burglarized." Charlotte continued

"Wait. Hang on."

"What?" Charlotte asked

"You're smarter than me. Why don't you go on the show and win?"

"I don't want my house burgled." Charlotte protested

Henry's phone rang and he picked it up. It was his dad.

They were talking about something until Henry finally spoke to us "Can my dad go to the show with my sister?"

"I guess, just tell him to get there early so they can get tickets." I said

Henry put his phone over his ear "Yeah, just get there early."

We arrived at the stage of Spin and Win.

"Hey, everyone. I'm Rick Richards."

The audience applauded for him.

"But you know that."

The audience laughed at his response.

"Okay, thanks for coming. We're going to be starting ths show in just a minute. Oh, and I want to introduce you to two young people who work with me here on Spin and Win. My two kids, Derek and Maddy. Give them some love!" Rick gestured to two annoyed teenagers who waved slightly

"Now, remember, you have to win this game." my dad whispered to Henry

"I'm going to try."

"And keep your eye out for any suspicious activity." I remarked

"Right."

"Yeah, stay focused." my dad advised "Can't let anything distract you from.." he noticed three women in dresses and immediately walked up to them "Uh.. I better go uh.. check out those girls."

"Why?" Charlotte asked

"It's my job."

The show began and me, Charlotte, and my dad were backstage.

Charlotte and I walked up to the teenagers who were working there.

"Hey." Charlotte greeted

"Sup." I awkwardly waved

"It must be fun having dad who's the host of a cool game show." Charlotte smiled

"Yeah. It's so great." Derek spat out sarcastically

"We just love being forced to work here while our friends get to go out and have fun." Maddy turned back to the controls

"Oh." Charlotte frowned

"Snap." my smile turned into a straight line "Well.. what are those buttons for? Do they make the prize wheel spin?"

"Um. I'm hoping this button makes you walk away." Derek pressed a button repetitively

I raised an eyebrow "Excuse me? How about you take that attitude and shove it right up your small di--" Charlotte dragged me away before I could finish

I rolled my eyes and continued to watch Henry.

"What do these three celebrities have in common: Jimmy Fallon, Jack Black, and Taylor Swift?"

Henry pressed the button "None of them have won olympic medals."

"Correct!" l

The crowd cheered for Henry.

"And Henry Hart advances to our final round."

"Yeah!" my dad exclaimed

"Go Henry!" I cheered

"Alright, in a moment we'll be back to see if Henry can Spin and Win these fabulous prizes. Show em' girls."

The ladies gestured to the five prizes on the prize wheel.

"An electric guitar! An underwater sharkpoon! Karaoke machine! A skateboard with a motor on it! And a hot yogurt machine!"

I noticed Henry looked weird. Like he was in some sort of trance.

Huh, that's strange..

"So don't go anywhere. We'll be right back." Rick grinned

"Alright, now let's see if Henry can identify 10 breeds of.." Rick turned to Henry "Henry? Henry?"

"What's wrong with Henry?" I ask

"Henry." Rick called

"Is he drooling?" my dad asked

"Ohhh, Henry?"

An employee ushered Henry closer to Rick.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, sorry Rick."

"No worries. Now, to win those five prizes there on the prize wheel, you'll have to identify ten breeds of dogs in under thirty seconds."

"Come on, kid." my dad cheered

"You got this, Henry." Charlotte cheered

"Let's do it." Henry said

"Thirty seconds on the clock. Your time begins.. now."

A dog appeared on the TV.

"German Sheperd."

Ding.

"Yes." I whispered

"Cocker Spaniel."

Ding.

"Norweigan Bluehound."

A buzzing sound was heard.

Another dog appeared on the TV.

"Uh, Great Dane!"

Ding.

"Uh.. Micro Mini Golden Doodle!"

Ding.

"Uh, Maltese!"

Buzz.

"No, that was a Bichon!" Charlotte corrected

"Schnauzer!"

Ding.

"Uhm, Mexican Bulldog!"

Buzz.

I suddenly didn't feel good. I felt kind of light headed.

"Come on! Just 4 more!!" Charlotte exclaimed

"You're hurting my arm." my dad said

"Oh, sorry." Charlotte let go of my dad's arm

"I'm okay."

"Spotless Dalmatian!"

Ding.

"Wangdoodle-doo!"

Does that even exist..?

Buzz.

"Uh, Rottweiler."

Ding.

"Four seconds. One more to win!" Rick stated

"Just one dog away!" I exclaimed, still feeling lightheaded

Another dog appeared on the TV.

"Uh.. S-Shih-Tzu?"

Ding.

"And Henry Hart wins the five prizes on that thing there!" Rick said

"Yes!!" I high fived Charlotte and my dad

My dad and I ran on stage as I immediately hugged Henry tightly.

"You did it!!"

"I know!!" Henry grinned widely

I turned around and saw my dad getting escorted by an employee "It's my job!"

"We'll be right back after these commercial messages." said the announcer

We were at Henry's house, carrying in his prizes.

"Where do you want the hot yogurt machine?" I ask Henry

"Over there."

I nodded and carried the hot yogurt machine to the kitchen before I placed it on the counter.

Henry sighed "Looks like my dad's going to be in the hospital all night."

"Your dad got hurt?" I asked

"What happened?" Charlotte stood up

"No, Piper broke Jasper's nose with her selfie stick."

"Oh my God.." Charlotte's mouth was agape

"Piper got a selfie stick?" I ask

Henry shrugged "Yeah, I guess."

"So uh," my dad played a tune on his electric guitar "where's your mom?"

"At the rodeo until Sunday." Henry answered

He played a country riff on his guitar as we all stared at him in disbelief.

"You said rodeo. So I played a riff with a.. country flair."

"Are you sure that we're related?"

Henry tried to change the topic "What's the plan tonight?"

"I say we just hang out here all night..." Charlotte said before getting interrupted by my dad playing a rock and roll riff

"And wait for the burglar to try to break in." she continued

My dad played another rock and roll riff.

"And if the burglar does break in, we jump him and--" Henry got interrupted by my dad playing another rock and roll riff

"Stop that!" I scolded

My dad played a sad tune.

"Hey, hey!" Charlotte yelled as we all turned to her "A van just pulled up in front of the house."

"A van?" Henry asked

"Criminals love vans." my dad spat "That's got to be the burglars."

We all looked outside until someone's phone started vibrating.

"Who's phone is vibrating?" I ask

"Mine." Henry answered as he picked up his phone "Someone wants to video chat me."

"It's bad luck not to accept a video chat." Charlotte shrugged

"Mhm." I agreed

Henry picked up his phone as we continued to look outside.

Then, he started bringing his prizes outside.

"Hey, where you taking that?" my dad asked

"Henry? Wha- he just walked right past us.." Charlotte furrowed her eyebrows

"And I think he was drooling again." I pointed out

Henry walked back in the house as my dad stepped in front of him "Henry. Hey. Why are you putting your prizes in that van outside?"

"Say something." I spat out

Henry ignored me and gave my dad a wedgie as he carried the hot yogurt machine outside.

"Not the hot yogurt machine!" I begged

"Why is Henry acting so weird?" my dad asked

"I don't know." Charlotte answered "But it started when someone video chatted him. Maybe.."

I snapped my fingers "Hypnosis.."

"Hypnosis?" Charlotte asks "So that's why the cops could never catch the burglar."

"Because there is no burglar." My dad realises

"Someone figured out a way to make people burgle themselves.." I said

Henry walked back in the house "What's up guys?" he looked around "Hey, where'd all my prizes go?"

"You picked them up, took them outside, and put them in a van." Charlotte explained

"Huh?"

"We'll explain later." my dad walked closer to him "Right now we're going to track that van and find your prizes."

"And the criminals who made you burglarize yourself." I added

"Right. But first.." My dad gave Henry a wedgie and walked out the door

"Ow!"

We tracked the van down and it led us to the studio of Spin and Win.

"Hey!" Kid Danger yelled

"Get your hands off that hot yogurt machine!" I warned and the lady actually listened to me

"What do you guys want?" Derek asked

"We want you to stop hypnotizing innocent game show contestants and stealing their prizes." Captain Man answered

"Yeah." Kid Danger agreed

"That's what we want." I spat out

"You kids make me sad." my dad spat out "Cause you're jerks."

"You don't know anything about us." Maddy spat

"You have no idea what it's like to spend all day working here." Derek agreed

"Watching other people get cool prizes." Maddy continued

"So you think it's okay to hypnotize innocent prize winners?" I stepped slightly closer to the siblings

"And force them to give their prizes back?" Kid Danger added

"So you guys can sell them for money?" Captain Man continued

The siblings shrugged "It worked out great so far."

"Well, yeah. I mean- made alot of money."

"We have no problem with it."

"Well, now it's time for you two to spin and--" I cut Kid Danger off

"--and lose." I added

"I was gonna say that."

"Yeah, sure you were."

"You guys are going to get it now." Maddy said

"Girls. Show our contestants what they've won." Derek called out to the ladies

The ladies did fighting poses.

"I think those girls want to fight us.." Kid Danger said

Obviously.

"I could think of worse things." Captain Man smirked

I smacked the back of his head.

"We can't hit girls." Kid Danger said

"But I can." I smirked

"Right." Captain Man said

"Quinoa!"

"Bok Choi!"

"Foo Goo!" the girls yelled

"How do we fight them?" Kid Danger asks

"Uh, we don't. Just try to avoid getting hurt while Danger Girl fights them."

"But how do we--"

The girls started attacking us.

I hit the blonde one repeatedly but she ended up pinning me on the floor as the boys tried to dodge the other girls.

"Ah! I'm okay!"

"I'm awesome!" Kid Danger exclaimed

One of the women drop kicked me in the gut as I groaned

"Mother fu--"

"Language, young lady!"

The other girl hit my dad.

"I'm okay! Now, hey, listen--"

I drop kicked one of the ladies and punched her in the gut repeatedly.

The boys continued dodging the ladies while I tried my best to fight them.

I accidentally removed the wig of one of the 'ladies' and I stared at 'her' in shock "Captain Man! Kid Danger!"

"What!?" Captain Man yelled

"These girls are dudes.."

Captain Man removed the wigs off the 'ladies' "They are dudes!"

"Did you know they were dudes?" Derek turned to Maddy

"I had no idea."

"Now what?" Kid Danger asked

Well, now we can hit them as hard and as often as we want." Captain Man said

"Then let's do that!" Kid Danger exclaimed before hitting one of the dudes with his elbow.

I strangled the dude that kicked me in the gut earlier.

"Nyah!" Kid Danger exclaimed

"And to think I was going to ask all thrwe of you out at the same time." Captain Man spat

"Ew, gross." I scrunched my nose

We walked closer to Derek abr Maddy.

"I guess you're going to call the cops on us now." Derek said, looking down

"Yeah, I am." Captain Man started dialing the number on his phone

"It's nine, one--"

"I know the number." my dad rolled his eyes

"I don't need the attitude." I scoffed

"You're the one with the attitude."

Piper, Jasper, and Mr. Hart walked in the house.

"Hey." Henry greeted

"Ciaó." I waved

"Wow." Piper grinned

"What is all this?" Mr. Hart asked

"The prizes I won at the game show." Henry answered

"Whoa. What's this thing?" Piper lifted up a sharkpoon

"It's for fighting sharks." Henry answered

"It's called a sharkpoon." I added

"Mm." she nodded

My dad gestured to Mr. Hart.

"Oh, dad. This is my boss from Junk-N-Stuff."

"Ray Manchester." my dad shook Mr. Hart's hand

"Oh, yeah great to finally meet you. I assume Audrianna Manchester is your daughter?" Mr. Hart asked

"Correct. You have a beautiful wife- house. House." he corrected himself

"Thanks."

"How does this sharkpoon work?" Piper asked

"Be careful with that." Henry warned

"bE cArEfuL wItH tHaT." Piper mocked him

"So, how's your nose?" Charlotte asked Jasper

"Broken. But it's going to heal."

"And then will it look better or worse?" I ask

"The same."

"Yikes." I hissed

"Sorry dude." Charlotte had an apologetic look

"Okay people! Who's hunry for something goooood?"

"Yeah."

"I am."

"Definitely."

We all headed to the kitchen.

"Okay, cool. Cause we got.."

"Hot yogurt!" Me, Charlotte, and Henry said at the same time

"Alright yeah!"

"Wow, you won a ho-yo machine?" Mr. Hart asked

"Yeah, dad."

"Well, I had a pretty bad day, but this makes up for all--" Jasper got cut off by an arrow going through his nose

Piper immediately put down the sharkpoon.

"Sorry dude." Henry said

Everyone was enjoying and eating hot yogurt.

I didn't feel like eating or talking with anyone right now so I sneaked out into Henry's backyard and sat on his patio.

Henry walked outside "Hey, what're you doing out here? Don't you want hot yogurt?"

"You know I do.." I smiled as Henry handed me a cup of hot yogurt

"So, how you feeling?"

"Good. I guess."

Henry nodded in response.

There was an awkward silence between us.

"Are you okay..? You seem so quiet.."

"Yeah.. 8'm just- just a bit lightheaded.."

Henry furrowed his eyebrows "Woah, you okay?"

"Mhm.." I mumbled

"Dri, you pinky promised me that you'd tell me when there's something wrong.."

"Okay, fine. I'm not okay. I'm obviously not." I chuckled sadly

"What's wrong..?"

"I don't know! Okay!? I really.. don't."

"Dri.. look at me." Henry turned my chin to face him "Do you need anything..?"

I slowly shook my head.

"Do you want some medicine..?"

I shook my head.

"Okay.." Henry ran his fingers through my hair "Just tell me if there's something wrong.."

I nodded and looked in the window where I saw my dad smirking at me and Henry.

Well shit.
