Henry came down the elevator "Ah, hey Dri."

"Hey, Henry."

"Did you sleep well last night?"

"Yep. Uhm can you do me a favour?"

"Anything."

"Can we not tell anyone about the fact that I slept with you on your couch last night?"

"Sure." he chuckled

"Thanks."

My dad walked in "Hey."

"Hey." Henry greeted "You called me?"

"Yeah, check out what's in that bin." he instructed

"Okay." Henry walked up to the bin

He opened the bin and there were a bunch of dirty clothes inside.

"What is.."

"I want you to do my laundry." my dad grinned

"Ew, no!" Henry objected

Something started beeping.

"What does that sound mean?"

"That we have a delivery." I answered

Something fell down one of the tubes. We took a closer look and turns out it was a pizza box.

"Huh." my dad said "Did any of you order a pizza?"

"No."

"Nope."

He picked up the box and opened it "Hey, get this. 'Dear, Captain Man and Danger Girl, our daughter Debbie is having her birthday party Saturday night.'."

"Oh no, Debbie?" Henry asks

"Shh." I shushed him and continued reading "'We're inviting some of Debbie's favourite celebrities, including you, Daniel Radcliffe, and Miss Swellview.'."

My dad turned to Henry "Oh, she is so hot!"

"Daniel Radcliffe is coming to the party!?" I beamed

"Will you please stop reading the box?" Henry tries to take the box but my dad turns it away

"No. 'So, if you'll agree to come to Debbie's party, you may cash the enclosed check for twelve thousand dollars.' Woah, look at this check!" my dad held up the cash check

"It has pizza grease on it." Henry pointed out

"We know." I grinned

"Fine. Go to her party with every other kid in my class except me."

"Why aren't you invited?" I questioned

"Cause, I was at Debbie's birthday party last year and everyone thinks I shot her in the face with a rubber ball and knocked her off the roof. Onto a dog."

"Oh yeah, I remember hearing about that on the news. You did that?" I point to him before taking a bite of my pizza

"No! Everyone just thinks it was me."

"Henry, It's just us here." my dad walked closer to him

"So?"

He shrugged "Why did you shoot Debbie in the face?"

"I didn't! Man, even you guys don't believe me."

"Do you want us to believe you?" I ask

"Yeah."

"Can I feel your head with my truth fingers?" my dad asked

"Sure you ca-- feel my what with your what?" Henry looked at us weirdly

Henry was sitting down on a chair "Is this gonna be weird?"

"No." my dad pulled out a pair of glowing gloves he was wearing "Okay. Now, i'm going to rub my finger nodules all over your head and face."

"So, what would be weird to you?" Henry questions

My dad only chuckled in response.

"You don't wanna know." I smiled innocently

"See, these blinky things read human brainwaves. Like a lie detector but way more sophisticated." I explained

"Whatever just do it." Henry said

"Alright, now.." my dad put his hands on Henry's head "Think about Debbie's birthday party."

"Debbie's birthday party.." Henry repeated like he was in a trance or something

"One year ago." my dad said

"One year ago.."

"When a ball knocked her off the roof."

"Off the roof."

"Because you changed the ball speed from two to eleven."

"No I did not."

"Why do you tell lies?"

"I don't tell lies." Henry objected

"Do you feel pretty when you tell lies?" my dad continues to rub his head

"You said this wouldn't get weird.."

My dad stopped rubbing Henry's head as we walked up to the machine.

I turned back to Henry "We believe you."

"Really?" he beamed

"Yeah. But that doesn't mean everyone will." my dad said

"So you felt my face for nothing."

"No. Now we're going to find out the truth."

"But you guys already know I didn't do it. "

"Yeah, but to know the full truth we've gotta find out who did do it."

"That's the key slice of truth we need to complete the entire truth pie." I chimed in

"Ooh, can we get some actual pie?" Henry suggested

"I like the way you think about pie." my dad agreed

"So, how do we find out who really did change the ball speed from two to eleven?" I question

"Easy. We're going to dress up like foreign film makers and interview everyone who was on that roof when Debbie's face got smacked by the ball." my dad said

"And then we eat pie." Henry said

"And then we eat pie." I repeated

Charlotte looked at us in disbelief and shook her head.

"And where were you when Debbie flew off the roof-us?" my dad asked with a German accent

"Yah, where were you?" Henry asked, also in a German accent

I spoke into the megaphone "Where!?"

"I know it's you, guys." Charlotte rolled her eyes

"What guys?"

"We are German filmmakers."

"Yah, we German."

"We like to eat weiner schnitzel." my dad said

"We also like to say weiner schnitzel." Henry agreed

"Weiner schnitzel."

"Yah, weiner schnitzel."

"Okay, this is stupid." I mumbled to myself

"Play along." my dad nudged me on the shoulder

"I know you're Henry, Dria, and Ray. PS, your accents are terrible." Charlotte scoffed

Henry took off his shades "Will you just answer our questions?"

"We got a lot of these interviews to do" my dad agreed

"Stop wasting our time." I added

Charlotte rolled her eyes "Go ahead."

"Okay. Where were you when Debbie fell off the roof-us?" my dad questioned

"Well, Henry, Dria, and Ray. I was helping Debbie's mom make gift bags. I was no where near the ball machine." Henry paused the video

"Do you think we can believe her?" my dad asked with an accent

I turned to my dad "Dad, it's just us here. You can drop the accent." I reassured

"Geez, muffin. Why you always got to pee in my skeezits?"

"I'm trying to prove I'm innocent." Henry said

"All right. Play the section from video four again."

"Video four." Henry played the video

"Where were you last year when Debbie was knocked off the roof?" my dad asked Jasper

"Yah, Where were you?" Henry asked

"Where!?" I exclaimed

"I was on the roof." Jasper answered as I face palmed myself

"Achtung!"

"Gesundheit!"

"I don't know anymore.."

"Video three."

"Yeah, I've always liked Debbie. Except for one time in fourth grade." Oliver confessed

I perked up and listened to what Oliver was going to say next.

"She told the teacher on me and Sidney for eating bugs."

I furrowed my eyebrows.

"That made me feel hatred."

I turned to my dad ad he wrote something on the board.

Henry played another video. This time it was of Sidney.

"Okay, first. I only chewed the bugs. I did not swallow." Sidney specified "And anyway, Henry's the one who changed the ball speed."

"No I didn't!" Henry sighed

"He can't hear ya." I whispered to Henry.

"I know that."

"Video six."

Henry played the video and Piper showed up.

"No, I did not change the stupid ball speed!" Piper blocked the camera "Get out of my face!!" Piper slanmed the door

Henry played the video with Jasper again.

"Look, I felt really bad when Debbie fell off the roof. Even though she used to make fun of my bucket collection." Jasper showed his bag with a badge on it "I'm a bucketeer!"

Henry played the video of Charlotte.

"Okay, I guess I felt a little bit jealous when Debbie won the spelling bee last year. But I'm over it... that should've been my trophy!"

"Is that why you changed the ball speed?" my dad asked Oliver

"I want to talk to a lawyer."

"Video fifteen."

I played video fifteen and Nathan Kress showed up.

"I.. I know nothing about any of this."

I sighed "He's so dreamy.."

Henry and my dad looked at me weirdly.

"Could someone get my manager, please? I don't think these guys are even German."

He turned to me and my dad.

"So, we're going to.. me and Dria got to go buy some socks." we slowly walked away

"Socks? Right Now?" Henry asked

"Yeah. It's an emergency." I explained

"But we still haven't figured out who made Debbie fly off the roof."

"But hey, you still got that thumb drive with all the pics from the party. Check those for evidence." I said

"Are you going to Debbie's party?"

my dad balked "No. Check the pics."

"Okay." Henry turned back to the monitor .

We got our bubblegum and popped one in our mouths.

We both blew the bubble which made us transform into our superhero suits.

My dad and I slowly crept away to the tubes.

"I knew it!" I heard Henry exclaim "I knew you guys were going to Debbie's party!"

"Miss Swellview's gonna be there!" my dad whined

"And Daniel Radcliffe!"

"You guys better not go." Henry demanded

"Okay," I raised my hands in defeat "We won't go."

"Good." Henry snapped

"Fine." I snapped back at Henry

Once Henry turned around we went back under our tubes and my dad pressed his belt buckle.

I whispered "Up the tube."

We both got shot up as Henry looked at us in disbelief.

We were at Debbie's party. Captain Man was taking a picture with some kid until my gaze caught onto the one and only. Daniel Radcliffe.

I almost choked on my drink as I put it down and started walking towards him.

"Hi!" I smiled brightly

"Hello, Danger Girl." Daniel Radcliffe shook my hand

I can't believe it!!! Daniel Radcliffe!? Shaking MY hand!?!? It's a dream come true!!!

"Can I take a picture with you??" I asked eagerly

"Of course, dear."

We took a ton of pictures and I was convinced my storage was filled with pics of me and Daniel Radcliffe.

As a hardcore Harry Potter fan, this is a dream come true.

"So.. what is Tom Felton like..?" I asked while playing with a strand of my hair

"He's alright. One of my best mates."

I smiled sheepishly "Yeah..."

Before Daniel Radcliffe could say anything else, my dad pulled me away.

"What!?" I whisper yelled

"Excuse me, Captain Man and Danger Girl?" Debbie's mom and dad walked up to us

"Yes, hello citizens." Captain Man greeted

"We're Debbie's parents." Debbie's dad explained

"And this is Debbie, our birthday girl." Debbie's mom signaled Debbie to come

"She's so excited that you're here."

"Well, it's great to meet you, Debbie." I smiled warmly at her

"And your wealthy parents." Captain Man added which made me nudge his shoulder

"Oh, don't you remember? You and I, We met a long time ago." Debbie's mom remarked

"We did?" Captain Man asked

"You did?" I asked

"What?" Debbie's dad asked

"Yeah. Remember the Swellview Rodeo? I was a waitress and after the rodeo you invited me back to--"

"Oh! Yes. So great to see you again, here with your husband." Captain Man cut her off

I'm disgusted.

"Oh, Danger Girl! Can I ask you something?" Debbie said, smiling

"Uh.. sure." I smiled

"Are you and Kid Danger dating??"

My eyes widened "Uh.. no?"

God, these people need to get over it.

Before I could say anything else, I heard Henry.

"Hey!" he yelled "Everyone! Over here! Hello?"

"That's Henry Hart." Debbie's mom spat out

"Why is he here?" Debbie asked, crossing her arms

"What happened with you and Captain Man after the rodeo?" Debbie's dad asked her mom and she just smiled sheepishly

"Okay, I know everyone's freaked out to see me here because of what happened last year." Henry remarked and Debbie and her parents nodded in agreement

"Sing Wrecking Ball!" I heard Oliver yell

"No. I'm not here to sing. I'm here because you guys think I did something I didn't do."

"You were the only one standing by the ball machine!" Debbie remarked

"Yeah." Sidney agreed

"Hey, Henry. You gotta try some of these meatballs!" Jasper chimed in

Henry furrowed his eyebrows "Look, I get why you all thought I was the one who turned up the ball speed, but maybe it wasn't me. Maybe it was someone else. Like Charlotte."

Gasps immediately filled the room.

"Who was always jealous ever since Debbie beat her in the Swellview spelling bee." Henry continued

"Well- you all know that trophy should've been mine." Charlotte snapped

"Or, it could've been Jasper."

Gasps.

"Who's never forgotten that Debbie used to mock his buckets."

"Never forget." Jasper shook his head

"Or maybe, it could've been Piper." Henry pointed out to her.

Anddd more gasps.

"Hey! I didn't even wanna come to the party last year. Or this year, what am I doing here!?"

"Or maybe it was Sidney, or Oliver." Henry went on

More gasps.

"They got detention after Debbie told our teacher that they were eating bugs. The point is. I know who really changed the ball speed and knocked Debbie off the roof. And I have proof." Henry spat out

Murmurs filled the rooftop.

"Then show us!" Debbie spat out

"I will! But first, I'm gonna get myself a meatball. I'll be back after a short break. And then, everybody's gonna know the truth."

"Sing Call Me Maybe." Oliver suggested

"I'm not singing!"

Henry walked off the stage as I followed

"Hey," I greeted

"Hey." Henry took a meatball

"Goodluck."

"Don't need it. I got solid proof who did it." he ate his meatball

"They better believe you then."

"Yeah."

There was a deafening silence between us. The only thing that could be heard was the murmurs of the other guests.

Suddenly, I kissed Henry on the cheek.

WHY THE HELL WOULD I DO THAT!? Now everyone who saw was going to think that Danger Girl and Henry Hart are dating!

Also Henry is just a friend!

My eyes widened as I immediately pulled away and speed walked to my dad.

Henry furrowed his eyebrows, wondering what the heck just happened

He got back on stage "Okay. First I'd like to say, great meatballs. And now the proof, that one year ago today, I was not responsible for Debbie being knocked off the roof."

Henry pulled out his phone "Using my phone, I will now show you actual photos taken just before Debbie's party just last year."

A picture popped up on the huge TV of Debbie, Getting ready to hit a ball.

"Pic one. Here, you see Jasper, wiping his sweaty hand on Charlotte. And to the left, you see Sidney and Oliver, eating bugs. No surprise there." Henrry shrugged

"I haven't eaten a bug since passover!" Sidney objected

"I'm eating a bug right now." Oliver confessed which made me scrunch up my nose in disgust.

"Well look closer and, what's that we see in the background hm? It's my little sister Piper, upset about something, as usual." Henry pointed to Piper on the screen

"Pic two. Here we have a clearer image of Piper and as you can see, she's really mad about her broken phone. So she's throwing it." Henry explains

"So what!?" Piper scoffed

"I'm glad you asked. Pic three. Here you see me standing innocently by the ball machine. And when I zoom in.." Henry zoomed in the photo "..you see Piper's phone hitting the eleven button."

Gasps and murmurs quickly filled the rooftop.

"Piper did it!" Charlotte pointed out

"Security!!" Debbie called out as two guards came to escort Piper out

"But- But--" Piper's arms were grabbed by the security guys "It wasn't my fault! I didn't know my phone would hit the button!" she tried to squirm out of the security guard's grip "I'm a victim!! I wanna talk to a lawyer!!!" Piper yelled

My dad walked in front of Miss Swellview "So, Miss Swellview.."

"I'm out of here." I immediately walked away from my dad and Miss Swellview.

A few minutes later, I heard a girl's scream.

Debbie got launched off the roof again. And this time Henry actually did it.

Goodluck getting invited to the next party Hen.

I decided to go to Henry's house, it was like one in the morning but I couldn't sleep.

Luckily, Henry immediately noticed me outside his window and opened it. "What are you doing here Dri?"

"Can we talk?"

"Is this about the kiss on the cheek earlier?"

"Yeah, look. I didn't know what happened. It just happened. I didn't know what was going on in my mind that time and--" Henry cut me off by smashing his lips against mine

My stomach was INFESTED with butterflies at this point. I can't believe it!! So, our feelings were mutual!? Is this love!? Am I going insane!?

Henry quickly pulled away from me. His cheeks were a bright shade of red.

We both looked away from our prolonged eye contact.

"C-Can we just forget that ever happened?"

"Totally." I looked away in embrassment

"Goodnight..?"

"Goodnight."

"Sweet dreams,  Dri."

"Sweet dreams, Hen."

I climbed off the window and as I was walking down the streets I smiled softly.

Did that just really happen?
