Audrianna's POV

"Hello!?" A blonde boy my age yelled.

"Hey! How are you? Cool, thanks, great! Nice to meet you, I'm  doing good. What's your name?" my dad said all at once

"Um, I'm  Henry Hart. I'm here about the job?"

"Age?" My dad asked him. Henry looked around my age.

"Thirteen. I'll be fourteen on my next birthday."

"Cool! Me too." I beamed, walking towards Henry

"Ah, so you age sequentially, I like that." My dad replied.

He's weird. But I love him.

"Thanks?" Henry replied akwardly

"My name's Ray and this is my daughter."

"Audrianna. My name is Audrianna."

"Hi Ray, hi Audrianna."

"You ask alot of questions." My dad randomly said and me and Henry looked at him confused.

"I don't think I've asked any questions-" Henry remarked

"Chocolate or Vanilla?" My dad randomly asked

"Vanilla." Henry replied. Yep. We're gonna be best friends.

"Dogs or Cats?" I asked

"Dogs." Henry answered. Eh, I'm more of a cat person

"Maybe. Helicopters or kangaroos?" My dad asked Henry

"Helicopters."

"Love it." he turned around "Scrambeled eggs or dynamite?"

"Both?" Henry replied

"Maybe." I shrugged

"Complete the sentence 'I'm sorry, mother I didn't mean for the elephant to blank.'."

"Uh. Lick dad."

I furrowed my eyebrows while my dad laughed akwardly, "Well that's not funny."

"Nah." I agreed

"Um, is this the job interview?" Henry asked my dad curiously"

"Do you want it to be the job interview?"

"Um what is the job?"

"What do you think the job is?" I asked him. Not knowing either.

"Uh well, the ad said part time helper, so im thinking maybe you need someone to help you?" Henry watched as my dad looks up at him up and down examining him "You know, part time."

"Do you ever dream about sleeping?" My dad blurted out

"No?"

"Good! If you did, you'd be dead."

"He's so weird.." I shook my head and Henry just akwardly smiled at me

"I am so confused." Henry said as I stood beside him

"David?" My dad said

"Henry." Henry correcred him

"Can we trust you?"

"Sure."

"Can you keep a secret?" I asked

"Totally"

"So I can trust you to keep a secret?" My dad repeated.

To be honest, if I was Henry I would probably not take the job if my boss was like this.

"Yes sir."

My dad backed away from me and Henry
"I'm going to blow a bubble."

"You're going to blow a bubble?" Henry repeated

"And I'm gonna blow your mind." My dad blew a bubble and he transformed into his Captain Man uniform.

"You're Captain Man!" Henry exclaimed with his hands on his golden blonde hair

"That's right Henry." I added

Captain Man looked down on his zipper "Hold on a second." he tried to zip his uniform. "Stupid zipper always sticks. Come- OW! That's my skin!"

After a good 5 minutes I helped him fix his zipper.

"I can't believe im standing here talking to Captain Man!" Henry beamed, still trying to process things

"Why? Are you a fan? Do you like me?" Captain Man asked "Most people like me but not everyone."

My dad's ego is bigger than his muscles, honestly.

"Yeah! I'm a huge fan! Oh man i've got to tell Jasper about this!" He started typing on his phone "He's gonna freak when I tell him I'm here standing next to Captain-"

I lasered his phone before he could finish texting as his burnt phone fell on the floor.

"Sorry. But ya can't tell your friends about this." I frowned. Henry was horrified, his eyes widened.

"Okay, but-" he picked up his phone "Did you have to melt my phone?"

"I'll get you a new one." My dad offered.

"Really?" Henry beamed

"No."

"So Henry, tell me why you want a job." he inquired

"Well, you know to learn responsibility and challenge myself-"

"You want money?" I chimed in

"Lots of money" he agreed

The elevator door opened and an old lady came out "Oh, is this the ladies' room?" the old lady asked.

"No ma'am, you're not supposed to be down here." my dad sighed. "You're not supposed to be down here.."

"What an interesting place." The old woman complimented the Man Cave

"Thank you, but I'm conducting a job interview and you're very old so can you please just get back in the elevator?" My dad reasoned

"Oh, I'll just take me phone out of me purse and call me nephew."

"Great, me and Captain Man will just turn our back and look at something." I replied while me and my dad turned around

Within seconds Henry screamed "Audrianna! Captain Man!" I turned around and saw him tackling the old lady

The old woman zapped Captain Man and he fell onto the couch.

"Dad!" I shouted

I looked back at Henry and saw him getting thrown on thr floor by the elderly lady. Wow. He looks really cute while fighting.

"Goodbye forever Audrianna Manchester." the old lady pointed a blaster at me

"No!" Henry jumped on the old lady's back and started punching her. Or should I say 'him'.

"Get off me!" I heard the old lady yell at him

"Quit talking like a british lady!" Henry exclaimed still beating the crap out of the old lady.

"Stop pulling me wig over over me eyes. I can't see!" The older lady ordered

I heard a loud crash before Henry ran up to me.

"Audrianna! Captain Man! Are you guys okay!?" his voice sounded panicked and distressed

"Captain Man is always okay!" my dad sat up

"What?"

"How'd you know he wasn't really an old lady?" I asked in surprise

"Uh, cause of the tattoo on his neck. I saw it on him up in the store.. and his boobs are too wobbly." Henry explained

"True. Go get those under control." Captain Man ordered Boris and he walked into the other room "Henry, you have a sharp eye, good instincts, a nice shirt, and you're brave."

It's true. He looked really cute in his shirt.

"Thanks." Henry smiled, still unsure of what's happening

"Do you know how to make sandwiches?" I asked

Henry looked at me "i do."

"Then you have all the qualities we're looking for." Captain Man replied.

"But I-I don't-" Henry stuttered

"You're the one Henry."

"The one to make you a sandwich?"

"No. Well- yes." My dad chuckled

"Everyone gets old someday, even Captain Man. I can't do this forever." My dad explained

"Do what?" Henry asked

"Protect our town. Swellview, from bad guys, bad things, bad smells."

"Smells?"

I glared at Henry "Do you wanna be horrified?"

"No?" Henry replied, confused

"Watch this." I turned on the monitor with my remote

On the screen, a video of a man in a baby outfit and a diaper popped up.

"Who's the freak in the diaper?" Henry curiously asked

"The Toddler. Don't let the diaper fool ya kid, he's pure evil." My dad explained

"Wow."

"I'll show ya wow." he sat down on the chair next to the monitor controls "Watch this secret video that was intercepted by my people who intercept secret videos"

Me and Henry leaned in closer to the monitor. I didn't realize how close we were to each other until I turned around to face him. Almost kissing him. We both slowly backed away from each other before watching the video on the monitor.

"You were supposed to bring me my applesauce 2 minutes ago!" The toddler yelled

"I'm sorry sir!" a man tied to a chair replied anxiously

"Sorry dont make baby happy!" The toddler blew raspberries at the man

"Toddler! Good news the radioactive-zenite is here." Said the man who I assumed was toddler's goon

"Really? Woohoo! That means we can begin phase 2 of my plan."

The toddler continued to blow raspberries at the two men.

"Dah! You see that?" My dad began furiously

"He's a maniac!" Henry replies

"And there's more maniacs like him, all dangerous to the good citizens of Swellview." I added

"Well, yeah but we got Captain Man to stop them." Henry reassured

"True. But im not as young as I used to be.." my dad sighs "I'm almost 34..I need help, and someday someone's gonna have to take over for me."

"Well..you have your daughter, Audrianna.. right?" Henry reasoned

"Yeah. Dad." I replied sarcastically, furrowing my eyebrows

It's always been my dream to be my dad's sidekick one day. But he never let me because APPARENTLY "I'm his daughter". It's always the same reason.

"No. Audrianna can't help me fight crime. It's gonna have to be you Henry."

"Me?" Henry's eyss widened

"What do you say, Henry? Do you want to be my sidekick?"

"How much does it pay?" Henry inquired

"Nine dollars an hour" my dad answered

"Woahh!!"

"I know right!" My dad gleefully answered

Wow. I only get paid five dollars for each chore and he get's paid nine an hour!? How unfair.

The monitor turned on and it showed CCTV footage inside Junk N' Stuff. The monitor showed two kids who looked my age. One girl and a boy.

"What are they doing here?" Henry said

"Friends of yours?" I asked

"Uh-huh"

"Jasper, please don't embarass me." The girl said to the guy who I'm assuming is Jasper.

The threw of us watched them from the Man Cave

"Well they seem like nice kids." Captain Man began

"Yeah, their names are Jasper and Charlotte, I've known him ever since--"

"Get rid of them."

"I'll get rid of them." Henry went inside the elevator and I decided to follow him.

"Hey," I began "Congrats on getting the job!" I smiled gleefully at him and pressed a button on the elevator

"Thanks, I- WOAHHHHH AHHHHHH!!" Henry got cut off by his horrific screams.

I was technically used to the elevator ride so it didn't really bother me.

"Y'know, I've always wanted to work with my dad. But he always has the same reason, the 'because you're my daughter and I want you to be safe'. Gets on my nerves, honestly. And since he hired you,  I should be hired too shouldn't I? Hen- Henry? Are you listening?" I looked over at Henry and saw him screaming because of the elevator ride. My dad needs to fix that elevator.

Once we got to Junk N' Stuff,  Henry finally let go of my leg and stood up on his feet. His hair was messed up which made it look a hundred times more attractive.

He made his way to his friends and I followe.

"Hey."

"Henry!" Charlotte greeted him until she noticed me

"Ooh, Henry.. who's she?" Charlotte wiggled her eyebrows as she teased Henry

"That's my boss' daughter." Henry replied

"Hi. I'm Audriann. Nice to meet you." I smiled warmly at her

"Nice to meet you too. By the way, you got the job, did you?" Charlotte pointed to Henry

"Yeah."

"Cool!"

"Does that mean I get a discount on this bucket?"

"Dude, it's my first day here. You-- you guys gotta--" Henry got cut off by Jasper

"Excuse me! Mysterious foreign man? Do Henry's friends get a discount here?"

Gooch shook his head in sync with his plant.

"That plant just shook its head." Charlotte pointed to the plant and Jasper immediately ran up to it.

"Will you get him out of here?" Henry told Charlotte

"Wow! How much for the plant?

"The plant is not for sale." Gooch told him

"Bye guys." Henry tried to drag Charlotte outside but failed miserably

"Come on, I'll give you 7 bucks for it and 1 Canadian loonie!" Jasper bargained but the plant just spit in his eye

"Ah! It spit in my eye!"

"I told you Canadian money upsets people." Charlotte told Jasper

"You guys, you've got to go now." Henry dragged them outside and I helped him

"Wait! What about my bucket? I want the pretty bucket! I love that bucket!!"

"Will you shut up about that bucket?" Charlotte yelled

"Carry on." Henry gestured with his hands as we both run into the backrooms

Henry was trying on some of the costumes for his Kid Danger outfit.

The first one straight up looks like the American flag.

"I gotta wear this?" he complained

"All good sidekicks wear costumes." I shrugged

"Sorry, but this is bad."

"We have more options." my dad said as he ate a banana

The next outfit looks like something Frankini would wear.

"Too sparkly."

The next outfit, in my opinion looked like a rebellious little red riding hood.

"Eh, it's a little broadway." I commented on the outfit

The next outfit seemed too tight for Henry. I'll admit, Henry may be skinny but that costume was way too tight for him.

"Too tight." My dad said as he ate a pineapple

"Uh, way too tight." Henry complained

"Oh man, I ate alot of fruit." Captain Man groaned

The next costume looked pretty nice and Henry definitely looked cute in it.

"Hey, I like it." I smirked

"I like it." Henry agreed "But it takes alot of time to put on."

"And that's!" My dad shouted which made Henry and I flinch "--why you'll need this special bubble gum."

"Special?" Henry asked

"Read the instructions."

"Chew gum, blow bubble, fight crime." Henry read

"Now." my dad said as they both stare into nothingness I furrowed my eyebrows at the both of them

I put a wristband on Henry's wrist.

"What's this for?" Henry asked

"It means we're engaged."

"What?" his eyes went wide

"Nah I'm just kidding. That's how we'll contact you. I have one too." I showed him the wristband on my wrist

"Well why cant you just call me?"

"I melted your phone." I remarked

"Right."

"Now listen closely" Captain Man interrupted us "That wristband flashes."

"It flashes." Henry repeated

"A triple flashing light means emergency like, major sitch going down, so get here fast."

"Right."

"A double flashing light means it's just important." I added

"And what is a single flashing light mean?" Henry asked

"Just to, you know, shoot us a text whenever."

Henry nodded "Got it."

"Now, raise your right hand." My dad interrupted

Henry raised his right hand.

"Spread your fingers"

Henry spread his fingers.

"Turn your head and cough"

"No, don't-"

Henry turned his head "What?"

My dad laughed "Joke."

"Place your left hand over your right lung."

Henry placed his left hand over his right lung.

"And repeat after me. I, Henry Hart."

"I, Henry Hart." He repeated

"Pledge to be an awesome sidekick to Captain Man."

"Pledge to be an awesome sidekick to Captain Man."

"And to never ever, ever tell anyone that I am Captain Man's secret sidekick and to not reveal Audrianna's identity."

"You left out one ever." I pointed out

"Ever."

"It is done." my dad declared

"Feels gooood!" Henry replied. God, he's so cute

The emergency alarm blared.

"Uh oh.." I ran up to the monitor "What's up Gooch?"

"Someone sabotaged the bridge over the Jandy River."

"The bridge is down?" Captain Man asked

"Affirmative."

"That means yes." I whispered to Henry

"I got that."

"Situation?" Captain Man asked

"Cars in the water, lives in danger."

"Understood." my dad turned off the monitor "Phase two of The Toddler's plan. Let's ride."

"Wha-- ride where?"

"We've got people in the Jandy River that need saving. Come on." my dad ran under his tube

"You mean we're going there together, like, right now?"

"Yeah. Get under your tube." My dad instructed

"Ready?"

"For what?"

Captain Man pressed his belt buckle and a tube went down "Up the tube!" he got shot up

"I don't know how to--" Kid Danger started jumping which made him look like a baby bird trying to fly for the first time.

"Just tap your belt buckle." I instructed him

"Oh. Heh." he tapped his belt buckle and his tube came down "Up the tube!" Kid Danger got shot up

"Goodluck on your first mission!"

My dad hired me as Danger Girl, woo!!
(After lots of bargaining)

Henry came out of the elevator "Ray! Audrianna! What's wrong?"

My dad and Leilani were singing a hawaiian song while I stood behind them. Using a leaf to fan them while wearing a hawaiian dress.

"Oh. Nice dress Audrianna." Henry compliemnted my dress which made me blush slightly

"Help me out here Henry." I begged

"Uh, Ray?"

"Hawaii make you say hele mei hoohiwahiwa" my dad and Leilani both sang

"They've been doing that for twenty minutes." I explained

"Dude!" Henry called out to my dad

My dad looked at him "Henry!" What goes on?"

"You tripled beeped the both of us. You said that means there's an emergency." I told my dad

"Oh, right sorry. I was just getting a ukulele lesson from Leilani." My dad turned to her "Take a break." he said as Leilani giggled and left the room

"So what's up?" Henry asked as I put my Lei on him. He looked adorable in it

"We have a situation" my dad answered as he stood up "And by we I mean our city, all of Swellview." he took off his lei and put it on me which I immediately put on Henry who now has two leis.

"Check this out." my dad pressed a button on his remote and a hologram video of The Toddler popped up.

"The Toddler?" I asked

"He's the one that destroyed the Jandy Bridge yesterday."

"Why?" Henry asked

"To set up phase three of his plan"

"What's phase three?" I asked

"It's a phase that comes right after phase two but before phase four, if there is a phase four, but if there's no phase four then phase three would be the final phase." My dad explained

"I can't believe you said 'phase' seven times in one sentence." I muttered

"So what happens in phase three?" Henry questioned

"Listen." My dad interrupted

"Okay." me and Henry said at the same time

"While you and I were pulling people out of the river," my dad pointed to Henry "The Toddler's men stole five thousand packages of diapers. Can you guess why?"

"Uhhh--" me and Henry tried to guess but got cut off by my dad

"To bombard the diapers with radioactive zenite particles."

"We would not have guessed that."

"You want to see what happens when a baby pees into a diaper that's been bombarded with radioactive zenite particles?" he said as he bent down so we bent down with him.

"No." Me and Henry said at the same time

"Watch this." My dad turned on the monitor

"Why does he ask us?" Henry asked

"I honestly don't know." We both walked up to my dad who was in front of the monitors.

"What's taking so long?" The Toddler asked

"Well he hasn't peed yet." One of The Toddler's scientists explained

"Well give him some more apple juice." The Toddler demanded as he pushed the man away.

"Wait, wait. He- I think he's peeing!"

The baby started crying uncontrollably.

"Goody, here comes the fun." The Toddler said

The baby turned green and had demonic red eyes.

"Oh my gosh." I furrowed my eyebrows

"Uh-huh"

"Kill you! Kill everyone!"

"Monster babies?" I asked

"That's right Dria. Unless we stop The Toddler. Are you two with me?"

"Well, yeah." Me and Henry both said at the same time.

"Well good. Meet me here tonight at 7:00 sharp." My dad declared

"Wait, wait, wait. Tonight? No, I-I can't do tonight."

"What? What do you mean?" I asked Henry

"My- my best friend Jasper, he's having his birthday party tonight, and--" Henry got cut off by my dad

"Party?" he laughed and turned Henry aorund to face the monitor "Henry, there's a freakish man-toddler out there about to turn all the babies in Swellview into that."

"I'm fluffy!" The monster baby shouted as I scrunched my nose in disgust

"And you're worried about a party?" I turned to him

"But-- but Jasper's been my best friend since we were five.."

"Okay. Okay. It's cool. Uh, you go to Jasper's party. Me and Audrianna willl handle The Toddler by ourselves. Don't worry about it." My dad walked towards the sprocket while I followed behind

"Are you sure?" Henry asked

"Yeah, I've battled The Toddler alone before. Almost killed me, but whatever."

"Now I ferl all bad."

My dad chuckled "Don't feel bad. Me and Danger Girl will save the world. You go have a fun time at Jasper's birthday party. Dance. Drink some fruity punch." My dad walked in the sprocket "Leilani! Turn on the hot tub!"

"Yay!" Leilani replied.

"Have fun." I told Henry as i walked in the sprocket

"Wait- no- Dria! Don't go!" Henry tried to stop me. I looked at him one last time before entering the sprocket door.

THIRD PERSON POV

"While reports are unclear, we do have confirmation that Captain Man and Danger Girl have been captured, and is being held at a secret location." The news reporter said

-

Danger Girl and Captain Man have been captured by The Toddler and has been sent in his secret lair.

Captain Man was stuck inside a bouncing baby walker while Danger Girl was unconscious and being tied to a high-chair

"Nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah!" The Toddler said in a singsong tune

"Come on, Toddler. Lemme out of this thing before I puke." Captain Man said weakly

"No! This is my playroom, my toys, my rules."

"You sick underdeveloped maniac!"

The toddler threw his rattle at him.

"Ow! Jeez man!"

"Oh, I thought the famous Captain Man couldn't be injured."

"He can't, but he does feel pain." The Toddler's goon corrected

"You're not allowed to talk unless you raise your hand and I call on you!"

The Toddler used his spit machine to spit at the goon.

"That's what you get."

"Come on Toddler. your insane plan won't work. Come on, Toddler. Let me down from this thing." Captain Man groans "It's squeezing me in bad ways."

"No! And now, Captain Man. I have thousands of babies to monsterize" The Toddler replied "And to make sure that you don't try to stop me, I will now destroy you." The Toddler explained

"You idiot. I can't be destroyed!" Captain Man reasoned

"I know that!" The Toddler stomped on the floor "But you can be dropped.."

He pressed a button on his remote which made Captain Man swing right above the ball pit "Into my bottomless ball pit!"

"Tod-- Tod-- Todd--"

"Toddler?" The Toddler cut him off "Play time is over Captain Man and Danger Girl!"

Suddenly, the ice cream truck song played.

"Wait. Listen." The Toddler gasped "It's the ice cream man! Yay! Woo-hoo!" The Toddler turned to Captain Man "I'll destroy you in a minute. C'mon fellas, ice cream man! I hope they have mint chocolate chip!" he and his goons ran away and left the room

Because of all the noise, Danger Girl started to wake up slightly.

"Captain Man! Danger Girl!" Kid Danger ran up to Danger Girl first and untied her. "Hey, are you okay?"

"Yeah.. I think." Danger Girl replied as Kid Danger helped her up

"Henry!" Captain Man exclaimed

"It's Kid Danger. Now quick, how do we get you down from there?"

"I don't know, this is the first time I've been trapped in a baby bouncer over a bottomless ball pit. Try that lever!" Captain Man pointed to the lever across the room before Danger Girl and Kid Danger immedaitely ran up to it.

"There was no ice cream truck!" The Toddler walked in with his goons "Who tricked me?" he pointed over to his goons "And who are those kids near my lever?"

"Those are my sidekicks. Kid Danger and Danger Girl." Captain Man answered

"I didn't know you had sidekicks. Why don't I have sidekicks? I want a sidekick!"

"You have us." One of The Toddler's goons answered him

"Shut up! You're dumb." The Toddler spat out

"Uh, Kid Danger and Danger Girl?" Captain Man called over the sidekicks

"Yeah?" Danger Girl asked

"Why don't you pull that lever?"

"Oh, right." Kid Danger pulled the lever and it made Captain Man swing everywhere.

"Squish the sidekicks!" The Toddler pointed over to Kid Danger and Danger Girl.

The goons started chasing the duo.

Danger girl used the spit machine on one of the goons while Captain Man was kicking them in the air.

"Oh my God, she's got my thing that goes sspppftt!" The Toddler excalimed and tried to take it away from her but missed

Kid Danger threw a ukulele at one of the goons and then a toy truck

"Hey! I hate you!" The Toddler shouted

Captain Man kicked one of the goons. "There! You've been kicked."

"Captain Man!" Danger Girl exclaimed

"Look at you." The Toddler grabbed the spit machine from Danger Girl which resulted in her almost falling into the bottomless ball pit.

"Danger Girl!" Kid Danger immediately ran up to her and pulled her up to the ground.

"Thanks!" she exclaimed as the trio kept fighting the goons.

"You guys are seriously the worst henchmen ever!"

They kept fighting the goons until they were all knocked out.

"You guys think you're so spiffy." The Toddler commented on them "Well have a look at my bang bottle!"

"Bang bottle?" Captain Man replied. Not so amused.

"That's right. And it's filled with explodey-juice!" he twisted the bottle and the nipple glowed red

"Danger Girl! Kid Danger! Get out of here!" Captain Man ordered

"We're not leaving without you!" Danger Girl bargained

"But that nipple is flashing!"

"No one leaves!" The Toddler exclaimed and locked all the doors on them "Now, we're all gonna go boom together!"

"What do we do?" Kid Danger's voice sounded panicked which made him hold Danger Girl's hand tighter.

"Push me! That way!" Captain Man pointed to the direction the toddler was in and Kid Danger and Danger girl pushed him which made The Toddler fall into the ballpit.

"No! Help me! Help me out! Ugh these ball smell like feet and pee! OH, THIS IS IT FOR ME! I'VE BEEN HOISTED BY MY OWN PETARD!" The Toddler exclaimed as he disappeared into the ballpit.

The trio exhaled in relief.

"The bang bottle!" Danger Girl pointed out

"Oh man!" Kid Danger exclaimed as he picked the bottle up "What do I do with this?"

"We give the baby his bottle." Captain Man replied

"Ah, good call."

"Hey." Danger Girl said

"What's up?" Kid Danger replied

"Hurry."

"Oh, right." He threw the bottle into the ball pit

"Kid Danger! Danger Girl!"

Captain Man went in front of them to protect them while Kid Danger held Danger Girl tightly as the bottle exploded.

"Nice work, Kid Danger and Danger girl. You two got skills."

"Thanks, Captain Man."

"Thanks, dad."

Kid Danger's phone beeped.

"Jasper!"

"Oh, yeah. You better get to that birthday party." Captain Man reminded him

"Right."

"Uh, Ray, will you do me a huge favor?"

Charlotte, Henry, and Audrianna watched the two boys that were making weird sounds using cups.

"They've been doing that for two hours." Charlotte explained

"Pardon me." Captain Man walked in "My Man Van broke down out there in the street, so I walked into this house and came down to this basement."

"Mine too. Um, I'm Charlotte. Hi, Mr. Cap- Maptain Can- I mean-" Charlotte laughed akwardly

"That's enough." Captain Man stopped her

"And um, I'm Audrianna." Audrianna shook Captain Man's hand

"And I'm Henry." He also shook his hand

The party was in full swing, alot of people came when they found out Captain Man was there.

"Okay okay, kill the lights." Henry said as he walked down the stairs

The lights turned off and the candles lit bright in the dark

"Happy, happy, happy, birthday!" Henry started as we all sang along

"Happy, happy, happy, birthday!" everyone all sang

"Everybody wants to wish you a happy birthday."

"Muffins.." Jasper beamed

"Yeah.." Henry grinned

"Well. Make a wish." Audrianna told Jasper as he made a wish and blew out his candles.

The lights switched on and everyone and noticed that Captain Man was gone.

"Hey, where'd Captain Man go?" Jasper wondered

"He's gone.."

"Aw, why'd he leave?"

"He probably had to go do superhero stuff."

"And, you did break a bat over his head."

"Yeah.."

After a while, the lights turned off and slow dance music started to play.

"Thanks, Henry.." Audrianna mumbled, smiling at him softly as she watched the other people dance.

"For helping me and my dad."

"No problem."

Charlotte and Jasper watched the two from afar.

"They definitely have a thing for each other." Charlotte began
