yejun's mind wasn't set on finding love, but on training for her debut. besides, having a brother who is protective over his sister (even though he is younger) hasn't made it easier. before transferring to kq entertainment, yejun was an official trainee at bighit. that was where she — she claimed — had found her first love.

relationships were completely new for her, yet that didn't stop her for diving into one. she claimed to be in love with him and he was head over heels as well. however, yejun's anxiety grew the more she worked toward her debut. she feared the fandom and social media. this had caused the two to split their ways but they stayed good friends nonetheless.

she swore not to date, slightly out of fear of what the media would think. until she found the prince to her princess, in a rather special way. it was not love at first sight. but, she turned out to be the treasure to his pirate.

before her time with kq entertainment, yejun was officially a trainee by bighit entertainment. there she was introduced by a new generation of trainees (the '00 generation). this is where she met choi soobin, who was quite tall for his age. they exchanged numbers and it resulted them talking day and night.

they got to spent lots of time together since they were both trainees. even outside practising hours, they spent time together. they both realised they enjoyed being in each other's presence, in which soobin was encouraged to ask yejun to be his girlfriend. however, yejun had made the decision to move companies. "soobin, i'm leaving bighit."

yejun's transfer didn't withhold soobin asking her to be his girlfriend. in his relief, yejun said yes. however, the area of relationships is completely new to both soobin and yejun. that is why they decided to take things slow. soobin took her on dates, which then claimed that they were in love.

however, yejun was about to debut as member of ateez. yejun suddenly isolated herself from soobin, which left him with question marks. he knew about her debut and couldn't be prouder. it was until then, yejun exploded in emotions. yejun finally spoke the words she needed to say, leaving soobin both heartbroken and understanding. "i understand, noona." the two go seperate ways, but they stay in contact nonetheless.

a year after yejun's debut, soobin debuted as leader of the group tomorrow x together (txt).

envious and threatened. that was what yunho thought of yejun and visa versa. instead of love at first sight, they started off as rivals ... jealous rivals. they would often exchange glances that could tell tales. they found it suffocating enough in a dance studio, lets slide away the fact they share a dormitory (with san as well). jealous whether or not, they couldn't deny the fact they shared some kind of chemistry.

a curious question which remains unanswered (for now) is who fell first? atiny have created two camps: camp yunho or camp yejun. these fans saw through everything and thus yunho's and yejun's dislike toward each other. twitter then exploded when yejun and yunho announced their official relationship. "YEJYU IS REAL."

the envious and threatened glances melted into affectionate and admirable glances. as if a block ice needed to melt in a beautiful ice sculpture. yunho's overconfidence didn't seem to bother yejun anymore, which was her sign that her opinion about yunho changed. yunho finally saw through his envious and jealous blur and he realised yejun was a lovely girl. the other members of ateez seem to have noticed and often caused forced proximity to speed up the process. however, they feared commitment, thinking they misunderstood the situation.

everything seemed to change in one night. just one night where yejun left their dormitory and yunho followed her. that night, all the previous, cropped tension left their bodies. from there on, the two started to show affection to one another. yunho would often hug yejun from the back, hiding his face in her neck. it wouldn't have taken long but the two fell madly in love.

even though yunho wasn't yejun's first love, that doesn't make her feel less in love. in fact, she claims to have have her soulmate. it may not have a fairy tale beginning, but it is the rest of the story that matters. the one where yunho found the treasure to pirate. the thing that pirates desire most, their treasures.
