"This whole 'Finish Him' catch phrase is insane, Miguel kicked Eli so hard in the face today." Alaska spoke as she helped her mom shop for the cook out this weekend, "Not that he didn't deserve it but it was kinda crazy. Like, he got the headband, why the final kick to the face?"

"Did you ask Miguel why he did it?" Gina asked her daughter, handing her the meatless burgers for the vegetarians.

"Because of Kreese!" Alaska said loudly as a few people in the store looked her way, "He's the one that put this thing in their heads, like you have to finish off the enemy."

"Have you done it?" Gina asked, throwing the fries into the basket and grabbed sliced cheese.

"No, I wouldn't knock him out like that. I had to shake him awake, it was scary." Alaska commented, hopping in the back of the basket as her mom pushed it into the next isle, "Maybe I should talk to Miguel about it."

"I think you're talking to the wrong one." Gina commented with a knowing look, "Elis probably at home crying ."

"He doesn't cry anymore." Alaska commented with a huff, "He's different now, Mom, it's like he went all werewolf on me and got the bite."

"He still needs you, don't you think?" Gina asked, tossing hamburger buns into the basket and began pushing it again.

"Of course he needs me." Alaska commented with a look of disbelief, "But I can't just keep running back to him, he's never gonna change if I do."

"Do you want him to change again?" Gina asked in disbelief as Alaska sighed and went silent, "You don't have to apologize, just talk to him."

"I will." Alaska confirmed as she bit the inside of her mouth, "But not yet."

"So, you two seem to be doing good." Alaska said as she walked over to Tory in practice, watching as Miguel walked over to stop Hawk by the door, "Reminds me of Scott and Kira. You're Scott."

"Who?" Tory asked as Alaska shook her head, "I like him."

"Miguel's great, respectful." Alaska nodded her head, stretching her legs out, "I just didn't know the two of you would get together, he doesn't seem like your type."

"And what is my type?" Tory asked with a laugh, grabbing Alaskas arms to help her stretch better.

"Dunno, not nerdy, respectful Miguel." Alaska answered with a shrug, "I get the whole badboy type from you."

"Do you really have any room to talk?" Tory asked with a teasing grin, looking toward Hawk, "I figured your type would be the good guys with a hero complex."

"Rarely." Alaska said honestly, looking toward the pair of boys who did the small handshake they had picked up on, "Why do guys forgive each other so easily?"

"Wish I knew." Tory said, watching as Alaska did a backwards roll when Miguel began walking back over again.

"Everybody, fall in." Sensei announced as they all hurried to do so. Alaska was sure to trip Hawk on the way before falling in besides Aisha, "Today, we'll be learning one of the most important lessons a Cobra Kai could ever know."

"Where's Sensei Kreese?" Hawk spoke up.

"Yeah. Shouldn't we wait for the sensei emeritus before we get going?" Stingray questioned as Alaska gave him a odd, slightly judged look. Johnny simply stared at him, "Or not."

"Mr.Kreese will no longer be joining us." Sensei announced.

"Yessss." Alaska said as her eyes rolled back, getting a few odd looks.

"I made a promise when I became your sensei." Johnny went on as he eyed each of them knowing, "To always look out for your best interests. Despite how hard this may be for all of us, he didn't have our best interest at heart. John Kreese may have founded Cobra Kai, but he no longer represents what this dojo stands for. His Cobra Kai was old and outdated. He refused to move forward. What happened what we do that, Mr.Diaz?"

Alaska looked to Miguel who cleared his throat, "You get stuck like cement."

"And what happens when we don't move on from our old way?" Johnny asked as his eyes shifted toward Alaska, "Antartica?"

"You overdose." she spoke as everyone turned in shock to stare at her. Johnny cleared his throat and nodded for her to go on, "Overdose on your inability to change and soon became the horrible person no one wants to be around."

"Exactly." Johnny stated as he looked around the room, "To be a great fighter, you gotta learn to adapt. This creed on the wall..follow it to the letter, it'll make you strong. It'll make you formidable. It will also make you a asshole."

Alaska stared at the Strike First. Strike Hard. No Mercy. until Sensei began to speak again, "Cause that's just black paint on a white wall. But life's not black and white. More often then not, it's gray. And it's in those gray areas where Johnny Lawrence's Cobra Kai sometimes shows mercy. Doesn't mean you can't be badass, that's still a requirement. But you have to learn to think, not just with your gut or your fist... but to really use this."

He beat on the side of his head while eyeing each of them, "Which leads me to today's lesson."

Sensei cracked the board over his head as a few in the dojo grinned in excitement, "Headbutting. Grab a partner."

Hawk was busy tying his shoes to realize someone was standing before him, it wasn't until their throat cleared that he looked up, "Hey."

Alaska crossed her arms as she sighed, looking down at him, "I want you go take Find My Iphone off your phone, i'm not comfortable with you knowing my every move."

"I thought you wanted us to have it incase we got kidnapped." he commented, standing up quickly to purposely be infront of her.

"Yeah well, things change when you use it against me." Alaska said, stepping back with a roll of her eyes, "I already took you off mine so take me off yours, now."

Hawk pulled his phone from his back, hitting the app and removing her iphone. Alaska cleared her throat as she looked at him, "Thanks."

"I wasn't trying to stalk you." Hawk defended himself, tucking his head slightly and look at her with gentle, sad eyes, "I just worry sometimes."

"Worry about what? That i'm leaving the house?" she asked in disbelief.

"No." he spoke quickly, grabbing his bag and shrugging, "I just want to know if you're headed somewhere that isn't familiar, I don't want you to relapse and overdose."

Alaska eyes softened as her face fell, her chest filling with a tight feeling. Hawk gave a sad smile before moving past her, leaving the dojo with the same empty feeling she had staying behind.

Alaska sat at home alone, her parents leaving for their evening marriage concealing session while the rest of her friends had taken off to the roller ring. She considered going before finding out she'd indeed be third wheeling whether she went with Sam and Robby or Tory and Miguel. Her best bet was to be back at home, rewatching Love, Rosie and crying over the best friends to lovers story.

When the door rang Alaska stood, suddenly becoming alarmed by the lack of barking that echoed through the home. Alaska suddenly realized Cedric hadn't started barking when she'd gotten home either , "Cedric!"

The doorbell rung again as Alaska ignored it, hurrying through her house and yelling for her dog, "Cedric! Here boy!"

Nothing.

Alaska hurried in her room, looking into his dog bed and finding it completed empty. A small, formal note on her bed suddenly made Alaskas mind pause. The doorbell rung in her ears as she broke the envelope to read the note.

Stop ignoring my calls, you know you want to answer.
-Drew

"No." Alaska said as she took a deep breath, racing down the steps as the sudden pounding began on the door. Alaska swung it open quickly, taking her fighting position before realizing who was there, "Eli?"

"Do you not check before answering the door?" he asked in disbelief, looking at the the distressed look on her face, "Whats wrong?"

Alaska couldn't bother to ask why he was there, grabbing him by the jacket and dragging him toward his car, "He took Cedric!"

"Who took, Cedric?" Hawk asked, throwing her the keys over the hood as she got into the drivers seat, "Do you know where we're going?"

"Shut up." Alaska said, reaching over and buckling his seat belt before speeding off.
