"Oh, shit." Wyatt gapped as him and Alaska sat together on the couch, Demetri and Eli changing with the closes Alaska and Wyatt had picked out. Wyatt, already fashionable as was, came in dress pants and a dark pink button up shirt. "Does that mean you guys are, like, back together?"
"I don't know, we didn't do much talking." Alaska said back, getting a sudden laugh from Wyatt. The Lee girl wore the sleeveless, tight pink dress to match with Wyatt. "Don't laugh, we literally haven't even mentioned it again."
"So then bring it up." he shrugged in return. "Do you want to get back together?"
"I mean, yeah, I do." she gave a knowing look, keeping her voice to a whisper as her close family walked in and out of the house. "But now I feel kinda shitty because he made it pretty clear he wanted to wait a while."
"He said that months ago though, I think that counts for a while." Wyatt gave a knowing raise of his eyebrows in her direction. "You guys are good at communicating, just bring it up."
Alaska went to say something before an unexpected figure came from the kitchen. "Robby."
He stopped, staring at her with a blink. The small boy from the drive in coward behind him slightly, both of them dressed in simi formal attire. Robby and Kenny both went with a paler shade of pink for the evening. "Your parents said I could invite someone."
"Of course." she rose to her feet quickly, Wyatt crossed his fingers she wouldn't be awkward. Her eyes looked to the young boy. "You like guac and wings?"
"What?" Kenny asked oddly. "Like, guacamole?"
Wyatt turned around with a shake of his head. "Don't let her make you try it."
"It's not bad." Alaska shook her head, walking their way. "If you hate it, there's baby cheeses next to it."
Kenny looked at Robby hesitantly, following him as Robby went after Alaska into the kitchen. The counters were filled with different foods, the backyard decorated in different shades of pink, like their original wedding was, a small venue near the front. Alaska stopped infront of the trays. "Okay, are you more of a spicy wings or normal wings type of guys?"
"You don't have to act like this." Robby stopped her with a knowing look.
Alaska looked at him in disbelief. "I'm not gonna ruin my parents day with petty drama that I don't even care about."
Robby agreed, which is the exact reason he brought Kenny instead of Tory.
Wyatt walked into the kitchen as well, refilling his punch in the small cup. Kenny dipped the wing in the guac Alaska scooped for him. The trio watched the small boy, his eyebrows rose. "Woah."
"Yes!" Alaska cheered as Wyatt and Robby huffed. "Finally, everyone else hates it."
"It's pretty good." Kenny agreed, a smile at her. Robby had told Kenny about Alaska, about her loyalty to Miyagi Do and Eagle Fang, but also how it never got between her relationship with someone unless they wronged her in a way. When Kenny asked why Robby hated her so much then, he told him he wouldn't understand. "Where's the guacamole from?"
"Homemade." she gave a knowing point of her finger. "And there's plenty so eat up, sweetie."
The group didn't hear the foot steps behind them. "Hey, Sis."
They all turned, eyes falling on Trey leaning against the doorway with a cocky grin across his face. He scanned over Robby. "Look who it is."
Robby went to step forward, stopping as Alaska gave a knowing look. Her eyes found her brothers again. "Hungry, Trey?"
"Mom just wanted me to tell you that your dad is having wedding jitters." he stated with a raise of his eyebrows, arms crossing. "Happy family."
Wyatt tiled his head, watching to see how she'd handle this one. Alaska didn't seem to want to be involved in any sort of fighting today, humming."Wanna be helpful?"
She grabbed the box of flowers near the table, shoving them into his arms. "Hand these out to our family."
"Anything you need." he mocked her, looking down with a sarcastic smile. "Sis."
Alaska rolled her eyes as he walked off. Robby watched him go with an angered look. "I can't believe you haven't told your parents."
Alaska ignored him, taking a breath. "I should go talk to my d-"
"Alaska." Eli's voice rung, him and Demetri coming down the stairs. Like Robby and Kenny, they were in a pale pink rather then a dark one like Alaska and Wyatt. His eyes ran over the Cobra Kai pair. "What the hell are they doing here?"
"They were invited." Alaska cut in, catching his eye with a knowing look, telling him to back off. "We still have a lot to do, no time for fighting."
"Like talk to Zane before he makes a run for it." Wyatt cut in, walking toward the trio.
Alaska made eye contact with an annoyed Robby, giving a nod of her head as he simply rolled his eyes. The four walked up the stairs, heading for Zane's room. The entire way there, listening to Hawk complain about the enemy in the house. Alaska knocked on her dads door before pushing it open, laughing at Zane as he sat on the bed. "What's up with you?"
"Do you know how long it's been since i've gotten married?" Zane gave an alarming look as he stood up, Demetri shutting the door. "When I said we should renew our vows I meant, like, at sunset, not an entire wedding!"
"You know how Mrs.G is." Hawk shrugged, going over to the bowl of peppermints next to the bed.
"You're gonna do fine. There isn't even that many people, just close family and then us." Alaska nodded her head, the guest list rather small. "Don't be the next runaway bride."
"Yeah, be the Joker to your Harley Quinn." Demetri snapped his fingers with a wink toward the man. "Or else she's gonna leave you for Poison Ivy, aka, Beth."
"Oh my god." Zane spoke in stress, Wyatt knocking Demetri in the arm with a crazy look. "Where is Beth?"
"Dancing with Miguel." Alaska sat on the bed as her dad messed with his tie. "Or peeing again, maybe both."
"Probably both." Wyatt agreed.
"I'd hate to get married too." Eli spoke up, looking out the window at the people. "Everyone looking at you, that's scary shit."
"I think I would want a huge wedding." Wyatt confirmed with a nod of his head, imagining it. "With floating lanterns and butterfly releases."
"Don't tell Gina that please." Zane begged, adjusting his tie as he looked to his daughter. "You get the cake?"
Oh, fuck.
Alaskas eyes widened, her heart sinking. The boys also looked over. "Yeah-Yeah, yeah, totally. The frosting was melting a little so I popped it in the freezer in the garage."
Zane sighed. "Thank god, at least I know that's secure."
Alaska looked toward the boys. "Okay, we have a few more things to do, then we'll come check on you!"
"You look fabulous, Mr.Z." Demetri hopped to hide their cover.
"Magazine worthy." Wyatt added, hurrying out the door.
Hawk grabbed the bowl of peppermints with a nod his way. "Just try not to puke on her, that would be a nightmare."
The door slammed as the four all huddled into the hallway. Wyatt slapped Alaskas arm. "You forgot the cake?"
Alaska slapped Demetri. "You were suppose to remind me."
He slapped her back. "You said you were picking it up at lunch."
Wyatt slapped Hawk. "Your fault."
"How is it my fault?" he rose his hands in surrender, slapping him back. "Your fault for saying we had to were pale pink instead of hot pink like the two of you."
"Well, it paid off, didn't it?" Wyatt argued.
"It clashes with my hair." Eli pointed a mean finger at his head.
"Red would have been worse." Demetri pointed out.
"Can we stop talking about his hair? I forgot the cake and my poor dad is already loosing his shit." Alaska cut in with a crazy look at the trio of boys. "They're gonna think Trey is a better daughter then me."
"You are their only daughter." Eli looked in disbelief.
"Where were you suppose to get it from?" Wyatt cut in quickly with a wave of his hands.
"Sweet Lady Janes." Alaska nodded her head. "My mom loves the velvet and vanilla ones they sale in the front. I was suppose to write their names on it after."
"Sweet Lady Janes is only ten minutes from here." Demetri looked at his GPS. "Give me your car and i'll go get it?"
Alaska looked in disbelief, her eyes going twice their size. "Give you my car?"
"I have mine." Wyatt spoke up with a quick nod. "We'll go grab it, write Zane and Gina on the way over, and have it perfect by the time Gina walks."
Alaska nodded her head quickly. "Okay, you two go. Eli and I will get get the flowers on the isle and make sure all the guest have arrived."
"Team work." Demetri cheered as Alaska gave him a one hundred from her bra. "Oh, nice and warm."
"Go." Alaska hurried the pair on. Wyatt taking the lead as he drug Demetri down the stairs with him.
Alaska looked to Eli quickly, nodding her head. "You think you can scatter rose petals nicely?"
"Scattering rose petals is my middle name." he said back confidently. Alaska grabbed his wrist, dragging her toward her room to get the large box of pink petals. "Where's Cedric?"
"Sams got him." Alaska said back, grabbing the box from her closet with a deep breath. "I feel like i'm forgetting something."
"I know what you're forgetting." Eli nodded his head.
"You do?" Alaska asked hopefully with a sigh of relief.
"Yup." he nodded, stepping forward to hold her face in his hands, pressing a kiss to her lips. "Think you've got everything now?"
She gave a girlish grin. She went to say something sweet before her face fell quickly. "Devon!"
Eli's eyebrows shot up. "Did you just say someone else's name as I kissed you?"
"No." Alaska sighed, grabbing his arm. "My cousin, remember her? I was suppose to pick her up. Shit!"
"Okay, cool off." Eli said back with a small laugh, nodding his head, pulling his phone from his pocket. "Type her addresses in, we'll order her and uber over here."
Alaska sighed in relief, setting the box on the ground. "What would I do without you?"
"Probably have to get back on your panic attack medication." he said, watching her type Devon's address into the phone, her pay pal, and handing it back to him. "See how easy that was?"
Alaska wrapped her arms around his shoulders, leaning over to plant a kiss to his lips. Eli held her waist tightly as she smiled into their kiss. Pulling back, he smiled back at her. "If any of my moms family talks to you, don't mention karate, they think i'm on the soccer team."
"Your Aunt Lola loves me." Eli nodded his head. "She's totally gonna dig the hair too."
"Not gonna dig the fact that we're learning violence. She's very peace on earth, herbal teas, manifesting, hippie like." Alaska nodded before her eyes widened. "My lavender!"
He watched her hurry over, dripping the lavender essential oil on her wrist to calm her nerves.
"What the hell?" Wyatt gapped as he saw the vanilla and velvet cake was not there. "Do we have the right place?"
"Excuse me?" Demetri asked the lady at the counter with a smile. "Do you have any more vanilla and velvet cakes left."
"Sorry, I just sold the last one." she gave a apologetic smile, pointing to a middle aged man near the door. Demetri and Wyatt shared a look.
"Let me do this." Demetri slapped him on the chest, walking toward the man. "Excuse me, sir?"
The man looked up from his phone. Demetri nodded to the cake. "You've got a vanilla and velvet cake there?"
"Yup, it's my wives birthday." he said back, looking down at the box of cakes.
Demetri took the one hundred from his pocket, subtly nodding at it. "How bout I offer you a little dough for the batter?"
Wyatt slapped his forehead in absolute disbelief.
"You want to pay me the exact amount of paid for this cake?" the older man asked with a raise of his eyebrows. "Sorry, kid."
Wyatt walked forward with a nice smile. "Sir- i'm sorry. But, our friends are getting married today and this is all they wanted."
The man gave an apologetic look. "Look, I'm sorry, but I need to apologize to my wife too."
"What'd you do? Cheat on her?" Demetri gave a sassy look, bopping his head around.
"Excuse me?" the man look at him is disbelief.
Wyatt snatched the cake when he was distracted. "Demetri, run!"
The two took off, the cake in Wyatt's arms as they ran. The man followed. "Hey!"
"The doors are still locked!" Demetri yelled, Wyatt fumbling with his keys as the man ran after them. "Wyatt!"
The car beeped, the pair jumping in. Wyatt locked the doors quickly, Demetri taking the cake. The man hit the window with an angry expression. Wyatt gave an apologetic look. "This is really important!"
"Dude, drive!" Demetri slapped his arm quickly. Wyatt pulled the car out of the lot, speeding off while the man yelled after them. The pair sighed in relief when they pulled out.
Wyatt started to laugh loudly. "Holy shit!"
"We're criminals!" Demetri yelled with a crazy look.
"Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy!" Wyatt laughed along with him, the pair high-fiving, driving back to the Lee house.
"Dude, that's amazing. I always rooted for you guys." Miguel spoke to Eli with a grin, Sam with Cedric a few feet away.
"But, I don't know what it means. Are we back together? Are we just hooking up?" Eli went on, clear panic across his face and going to the only guy that he knew would understand.
"You guys kissed twice, and hooked up in the school parking lot. I think that definitely means you're back together." Miguel nodded his head before blinking. "But, then again, Al did say she wanted to have a hoe phase before high school is over."
"Oh my god, I'm just one of her hoes." Hawk panicked.
"Okay, okay, okay." Miguel waved his arms to get him to stop. "If she was gonna have a hoe phase, it would be with, like, Kody from Math, Sadie from Biology, Kieren that's a year older then us, people she doesn't really know but is attracted to. She'd never hook up with, like, you, her first boyfriend and her life long best from, or me, who's like her brother, or Sam."
"Ugh, why wouldn't Alaska hook up with me?" Sam gave an offended look, walking over with the dog in hand. "If Al and Eli never happened, i'm pretty sure it would have been us."
"Are you kidding? She'd be with Tory." Miguel argued with an odd look. "Or Demetri."
"It would probably be Demetri or Moon." Eli agreed with a crazy look. "Oh my god, do you think she's hooking up with Demetri?"
"Please, if Demetri had Alaska, he'd be bragging." Sam rolled her eyes, slapping Eli in the arm. "Look, Alaska and I have gotten close, I know her. She wouldn't just hook up with you, definitely not you."
Hawk took a breath, nodding his head. "But...how am I suppose to know for sure?"
Miguel thought a second. "You know when Gina and Zane are gonna say their vows?"
Eli nodded. Miguel gave a romantic smile. "You know she's a hopeless romantic. If she looks at you, while people are getting married infront of her, she's totally in love with you still."
"But what if she's just looking at me to make fun of them?" he asked, blue eyes looking in complete fear.
"You'll know." Sam pointed out. "Everyone knows her looks, you know them better then anyone else."
And it was true, he knew it was true. Eli looked up at the balcony outside her moms study, Alaska looking over the small wedding to make sure everything was perfect. He took a breath. "I hope so."
The three were soon distracted by Alaskas aunts coming over to gush over Eli, who they hadn't seen since freshman year.
Alaska took a breath, still feeling like she was missing something, staring out over the balcony. She was so lost in thought, she hadn't heard the footsteps behind her. "Alaska?"
She turned, blinking at Robby as he stood behind her. "Hey, sorry, I didn't hear you."
"I just wanted to come tell you Kenny and I are gonna head out." he told her with a sigh, catching her questionable look. "I didn't realize Mr.LaRusso, my dad, and everyone was gonna be here. I thought it was just a family thing."
"They are family." Alaska nodded, blinking at him. "But, so are you."
Robby exhaled with a shake of his head. "Let's not do this today."
"Do what? I don't want you to leave." she gave a stupid look, keeping her voice down to avoid anyone overhearing then arguing below.
"Why? So you can just keep everything some massive secret?" Robby shot at her bitterly, thinking he wouldn't, but had. "I'm okay."
"What are you talking about? What's a secret?" Alaska asked him, genuinely confused this time.
"You said I was invited. I wasn't invited, I freaking live here." he said back, cheeks turning red in possible anger or embarrassment. "No one even knows i'm living here again, do they? Just like no one knew we were friends, that you forgave me, that we actually got along."
"Do you think i'm ashamed of you or something?" Alaska asked him, a hurt look across her face. "Because i'm not. All I want is for us to be friends again but you keep shooting me down. And I get it, I shouldn't have lead you on the way I did. But i've said sorry so many times, and maybe that isn't enough, and that's fine. But can't you see that this is me trying?"
"It's not even that you lead me on. That doesn't even matter, Alaska." Robby shook his head at her, confusing the hell out of her. "It's that you keep saying sorry for us to be friends again, not that you actually feel guilty. Because if you had, you wouldn't have almost kissed me in the rain, almost kissed me at Miyagi Do, literally offered to have sex with me, and told Tory at the beach club that you were thinking about hooking up with me."
Alaska shut her eyes, embarrassing that Tory had told him that. She opened her eyes again with a sigh. "Do you like me, like that?"
"No, I don't." he shot back with an offended look. "But, I started to. Back then, when you came to see me at Miyagi Do. I thought, damn, this girl isn't half too bad and I actually like talking to her. I felt like complete shit for what I did to you, what Trey did. Especially when I heard you got addicted. And then I let it go, because I fell for Sam and I knew you and Hawk had something going on. Whatever, shit happens, that's fine. And then you tried to kiss me again and fucked with my head."
"I know." Alaska look in guilt. "I didn't think- I wasn't thinking. I liked you, but I-"
"But you weren't over your ex, yeah, I was in the same position." be shot at her as they sat there. "But I didn't lead you on, never speak about it again, and keep you like a secret."
"You ar-" Alaska began, stopping. Robby looked in confusion as she grabbing his arm, pulling him toward the balcony. "Excuse me! Hello! Family, friends! Excuse me! Up here!"
"What the hell are you doing?" Robby asked in disbelief.
"Telling everyone the truth so you'll stop hating me." she said back, waving at the faces that looked up at them. "Hey, thank you for coming! I just wanted to say that Robby Keene, this guy, is living with me! And we were friends a while back, a little bit after the All Valley last year, and we actually liked hanging out! I just wanted to tell everyone that, because even though he's done some stupid things recently, just like all of us, he doesn't deserve to be treated like a stupid secret because i'm worried what everyone else thinks."
Her announcement clearly took everyone off guard, because they didn't really give a fuck. They all went back to their conversation, the speech only shocking Hawk, Sam, and Miguel. Robby and Alaska backed away from the balcony, she stared at him. "And you definitely don't deserve to be lead on and then have me acting like it didn't happen, because it did, and I was selfish and i'm so fucking sorry for that. I just want my friend back, I just miss you."
Robby stared at her, and he missed his friend too. Despite the little feelings he gained for her a while ago, their friendship would always top it. He did horrible things to her, her boyfriend kicked his ass for it, and she still managed to forgive him. They talked like they knew each other forever, they cared about each other, they were friends. He wanted to forgive her so bad, he wanted to be her friend again. If it weren't for Cobra Kai, he would have. "I gotta get going."
Alaska nodded her head, because there was nothing else she could say or do. Robby gave a small smile, walking away to meet Kenny in the hallway. Alaska took a breath, nodding her head, glad she got all of that off her chest and knowing she did what she could. Now, she just worried about having to explain to Sam, Miguel, and Hawk about them being friends before, because all they ever knew was that Zane and Gina were his guardians after juvie. As Alaska passed the door, she didn't think twice as to check in on her mom.
From the other side of the door, Johnny chewed on a hand full of jelly beans while Gina did her hair. "What's the point of a vow renewal anyways?"
Gina rolled her eyes. "Stop talking with a mouthful."
He swallowed them. "What's the point of a vow renewal anyways?"
"Well, Zane and I almost got a divorce for a while. We were broken up for an entire summer while Al was away at science camp." Gina said honestly, her wedding dresses thin and white, back when they didn't have the money to afford it. It was silky, still beautiful, and she was glad she still fit into it despite having Alaska since then. "We're doing a lot better now, we just want to remind each other that we're still who we use to be."
"So you throw a wedding over it?" Johnny asked, adjusting the tie from his rental. "Seems weird."
"Shouldn't you find Carmen or be teaching my kid how to round house kick?" Gina asked before giving a knowing point. "Or maybe you need to teach her how to fight a LaRusso in the sand."
"Hilarious." Johnny said back with an eye roll. "You use to like me fighting everyone."
"Stop." Gina gave a knowing point. "Do not bring it up."
"I'm just saying." Johnny rose his hands with a nod her way. "You know, it's been years, G. You should really stop being so mad at me."
"Oh, like you and Daniel figured everything out even though it's been years?" she asked back with a questionable look. "I had every right to be mad at you, and I still am."
"Don't pretend you don't miss hanging out with me." he said, throwing a jelly bean at her. "Come on, we were best friends! Knocking books out of everyone's hands, shoving kids in lockers. We were the shit."
"Yeah, and then you ruined all of it." she put her earrings in. "I'm not even mad at you anymore. Doesn't mean I like your annoying ass."
"Come on, you love me." he walked over to look at all the jewelry, pocketing a necklace when she wasn't looking. "You want me to say sorry? I'm sorry for being your best hookup ever and you couldn't find anyone to top it."
"You're such an asshole." she rolled her eyes. "It wasn't even that good. But it didn't matter because I liked you. Then you acted like it didn't even happen."
"How was I suppose to know my best friend had a crush on me?" he laughed as she gave him a look. "Don't give me that look, I didn't know it."
"You think i'd hook up with you if I didn't like you?" Gina rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, I hooked up with people I didn't like all the time. Especially in high school when it happened." Johnny pointed out, the woman looking at him in disbelief. "Beyond the point. You were my best friend, come on, don't you miss kicking peoples asses together?"
"I miss kicking your ass." she corrected him, hooking the bracelet on her wrist. "What does it matter? You know how long ago that was? Make more friends."
"I have more friends." Johnny pointed out. "But you're different. I got a lot on my mind and all I wanna do is dump it all on you so you can give me advice and be my best friend. Look at your kid and Miguel! They're just like we were."
Gina laughed. "I know they are. Those two, they scare me."
"You wanna know what I did when I first found out Antartica was your kid?" the blonde asked, Gina meeting his eye. "I remember how you always said you wanted to go to Alaska."
Gina nodded her head. "And I did."
"Look, I love that kid." Johnny nodded his head at her. "She reminds me of you. Seeing her and Miguel just makes me wish we never stopped being friends. That all I wanted to say to you."
Gina watched him head toward the door, sighing loudly. "Johnny."
He turned back with a raise of his eyebrow. Gina rolled her eyes. "You wanna be sorry? Then you can do something for me."
"So, you're not mad?" Alaska asked, jumping around the dance floor with Sam and Miguel.
"Nah, i'm not mad. I mean, look at me and Sam." Miguel said back, pulling a shimmy of his shoulders. "But, all three of us know that i'm not the one you're worried about."
"Yeah, I knew you and Robby were friends." Sam said back with a knowing look. "At least admit you were just worried what Eli would think."
Alaska looked back at Eli, seeing him talking to Demetri while Wyatt danced with one of Alaskas cousins. The Lee girl sighed. "I was, still am."
"Never know until you find out." Miguel said back, the music changing to It Will Rain by Bruno Mars. Sam grabbing his hand. "Better go figure that out."
"You've got this." Sam smiled, pulling Miguel go slow dance with the rest of the couples.
Alaska sighed, walking over toward Eli as him and Demetri looked at her. "Meat, Beth needs a dance partner."
"Well, good things I took that labor and delivery class." he gave a wink. "The cake is secure."
Alaska smiled as he walked off, her eyes falling back on Eli. She sighed. "You mad at me?"
"I just don't know why you didn't tell me." Eli said back with a shrug of his shoulders. "I mean, after what he did, you were his friend?"
"I didn't want to tell you because I felt guilty. After you got disqualified at the All Valley for kicking his ass for me, I just didn't want you to think that was for nothing." Alaska pointed out as he scanned her face. "And I didn't want you to go all Hawk mode again."
He laughed slightly. "Why would you want to be friends with him though? I just don't understand."
Alaska gave a sad smile. "He was really sorry for what happened, and the more we got to talking, the more I realized I really liked having him as my friend. But, it doesn't matter now, because I think I screwed all up anyways."
Eli stared at her eyes. "I probably would have kicked his ass, again. But not because you guys were friends, for the same reason I tried to fight Wyatt before he told me he was gay."
Alaska gave a small smile at his words. "I know we haven't talk about earlier, or anything. But I just want you to know that-"
Rain.
"No." Alaska spoke in panic, sprinkles falling. "No, no, no!"
"Oh my god." Hawk said in disbelief, the rain cloud falling over their head as it began to sprinkle heavily. The crowd of people all looked in disbelief, the rain getting heavier by the moment.
"Shit." Alaska looked toward her dad, seeing him looking around in faint fear. "Do we- should we move people in?"
Zane grabbed the mic. "Family, friends, very sorry for this! Gina, get out here, babe!"
"Gina's coming!" Amanda called, running in her heels to get with Daniel. The music paused, changing to the walk song. "Gina is on her way!"
Zane took a panicked breath, the rain falling badly now. Thunder struck. Alaska looked at Hawk, rain falling into her face. "I gotta stand in the front, behind my mom."
"Okay, go, before it gets too bad." he nodded, Alaska ran toward the front of the little venue. Zane gave a panicked look, getting a reassuring look back in return. The music began to play over the rain, the DJ booth the only thing covered from the entire wedding. The guest all stood, soaking wet.
Gina walked from the house, Johnny on her arm.
She didn't seem too bothered by the rain, laughing actually. Alaska smiled at her mom, seeing the lost in love look on her dads face. She rose her eyebrows at her sensei, him flashing her a smirk. With a clear of his throat, he shrugged Gina's arm off as he stood infront to Zane. "Ugh, for you."
"He's trying his best." Gina whispered.
Zane patted his back, taking Gina's hand as they stood infront of each other. Alaska whipping some rain form her face. Zane and Gina both pulled their vows from their pockets, the rain starting to pour on the paper as they hid them quickly. Gina looked to the crowd. "So, we can't really read our original vows. But, if you don't mind, I have some stuff I want to say."
The crowd didn't seem to be bothered by the rain anymore, smiling at the pair. Eli watched Alaska, thinking about what Miguel said, hoping she'd look at him. Gina grasped Zane's hands, rain dripping from her eyelashes. "Zane. I know we have had a rocky couple of years. Part of that is my fault, and I hated every day of it. But, when I stand infront of you today, and I remember all we have done together, how much we have grown to be the people in love again, i'm so great full that we have managed to make it work. I remember meeting you, this guy that was just out of college, ten years young then me, and I thought you were just mimicking a british accent at first."
The crowd laughed, Alaska felt her heart swell at the sight of her parents, glad it had started to rain so they wouldn't see her eyes began to water. Gina held his hands tighter. "I didn't know it then, but you became the love of my life after that and I wouldn't have traded it for the world. We've grown together and I have fallen more and more in love with you every single day. I wouldn't trade any of it, ever."
Zane did cry, nodding his head. "Can I just say me too? Because i'm gonna start crying if I say anything else."
The crowd laughed again. Gina nodded her head with a smile. Leaning in, they kissed. The crowd cheered, Eli stared right at Alaska.
Look at me, just look at me.
Gina and Zane grabbed hands, walking down the isle together as it rained. No one was looking at the Lee girl left at the alter, no one except him. She was smiling, watching her parents be so in love, more in love then anyone. And then, her eyes immediately set on Eli. His face lit up when she did so, watching the knowing look she gave, the look that Sam was right about, the look he knew well.
He hurried through the crowd, jogging up to meet her infront of the isle. "Screw what I said. I don't wanna wait."
"Good." Alaska said back, her hands latching onto his face to pull him into a deep kiss, Eli gripping her waist and kissing her back in the pouring rain, finally glad she looked at him.
