"We can go home, it's fine." Eli spoke after they got to Stingrays house, it was extremely clear she wanted to.

"It's fine, I kept clothes in the car." Alaska put her bag on the bed. Truth was, she wanted to go home and curl up in embarrassment, hope that everyone would just forget that happened. But, the last thing she was gonna do was ruin either of their high school experiences. She wanted things to be as normal as they were. After last year, after the entire school knew her as the drug addict, she just wanted to feel like a normal teenager for the night.

Eli stood there as she gave him a look. "I have to change."

"Are y-" he began when realizing she wanted him to go, nodding. "Okay, I'll be outside."

Alaska stripped the dress off and dug into her bag for the sweater and leggings. Eli waited outside for her, keeping by the bedroom door to avoid anyone possibly stumbling in. Feet were heard as he looked, seeing Kody walking over with a grin. "She okay?"

"She's fine, just embarrassed." Eli said back as Kody leaned on the wall across from him.

"Why are you out here?" he gave a questionable look.

"Don't know, she didn't want me in there for some reason." Eli said back, because it was odd, because she'd never actually asked him to leave before. It remedied him of the night that Robby cut his hair off, when he changed in her bathroom rather then in her room. The pair seemed to have a shared person when it came to being humiliated to even be in front of each other.

"You guys...you seem really good together." Kody nodded with a small nod. "Really good."

"You keep saying that." Eli cracked a grin his way. "What was she talking about earlier? You needed to ask me something?"

Kody rose an eyebrow, shaking his head. "No, I think you guys are too sensitive for now, maybe another time."

Eli wanted to ask, but he decided maybe it was best if he didn't know what Alaska and Kody had talked about when he wasn't there. "Just, don't let each other go, okay? Not everyone gets as lucky as you guys did, not everyone meets someone like that."

"This about Wyatt?" Eli asked him.

Kody laughed. "No, Wyatt's just a friend. It's not about anyone, I just think you two have something good going on. You know, Wyatt and Demetri, it's really rocky and kinda all over the place, same with your other friends. But you guys are good, you know, anyone can look at the two of you and see that nothings complicated or questionable, you guys are just together and really happy."

Eli had to smile, glancing at his feet. "I didn't think she was gonna take me back."

"Have faith in your girl." Kody cracked him a small smile, nodding his head. "I'm glad we got to talk, Eli."

"Yeah, me too." he gave a grin, watching Kody leave, and he suddenly felt secure and safe after their conversation. He turned to the door, twisting the knob as he walked in. "I know, you said you didn't want me to come in."

But Alaska was fully dressed and sat on the made bed, leaning on her knees. Eli walked over to her, giving her space by kneeling infront of her, taking her hands. "You can talk to me."

"I just wanted things to be normal tonight." Alaska whispered, and her eyes were sad. "It was suppose to be perfect and it wasn't."

"That's not your fault. Robby's the one that threw all that punch on you." Eli shook his head up at her, staying still as she looked down at him.

"He only did that to protect me from ruining my sobriety." Alaskas pointed out, and Eli started to get where she was coming from. "If I didn't have to worry about that, everything wouldn't be so weird. We could just go to prom and drink spiked punch without having to be reminded everywhere we go that I can't do normal teenager stuff."

Eli nodded his head, rubbing his thumb across the top of her hand. "I know what you're saying, but I just want you to know that I don't care. If we have to be locked in a closet somewhere with non alcoholic drinks and have your NA or AA sponsee on the phone, it would still be perfect for me."

"You're just saying that." she looked sadly.

"No, i'm not." Eli corrected her with a serious look. "Because we'd still be together, and as long as we are, anywhere would be perfect."

Alaska scanned over his face, a sad smile fell over her lips. "I know you say that, and i'm thankful you feel that way, but I don't like that you have to think that way. Do you know what I mean?"

"You wish we could just be normal teenagers that get drunk at parties and go places that don't trigger you." he nodded in confirmation. "I know that's got to be hard on you."

"Yeah, but it's my fault, so it doesn't matter." Alaska now seemed annoyed, sitting up some, pulling her hands from him. "It was my stupid self that got myself into this situation."

"Hey." Eli warned her, standing up to sit next to her on the bed. "Stop talking like that. I'm serious. You made a mistake. You were in pain and scared people were gonna come after you again so you needed to stay in Cobra Kai. What matters is you got the help you need, and you're almost a year sober, that amazing, Al."

Alaska gave him a tiny smile, nodding. "I know you're right. It's just hard sometimes."

"I know it is." he put an arm around her shoulders, scooting closer. "But think about it this way...you're gonna become someone sponsor one day and probably save their life. And I know you will because you care about people a lot, and I love that about you."

Alaska leaned her head on his shoulder. "I don't ever want us to ever not be in each other's lives."

"Never gonna happen." he promised her, planting a kiss to her head. They sat there for a moment before they heard a sniffle from the closet. "Did you hear that?"

Then there was a crash, and a minor yelp. Alaska sat up quickly. "Is there a robber?"

"At a party?" Eli looked at her oddly, standing up and yanking the closet door open.

"Demetri!" Eli gapped.

Alaska stood. "Wyatt!"

"I'm sorry." Wyatt whipped his tears. "You guys just got me a little emotional right there at the end."

"What the hell are you doing in here?" Eli looked between the two in disbelief. "We were having an extremely private conversation."

"You could have easily made yourself present. Maybe before I changed my clothes." Alaska looked offended their way.

"Do you not remember the diving board accident? Nothing I haven't seen before." Demetri pulled a stupid look her way. Eli slapped his arm.

"We were just...talking." Wyatt explained to the pair. "About the All Valley."

"In a closet?" Eli looked in disbelief. Alaska walked to his side as she wacked Demetri in the arm.

"Stop being a cheater." she glared at him harshly, then hitting Wyatt. "And you stop encouraging it."

"I-" Demetri began.

"I'm not talking to you until you dump her and stop being so shitty." Alaska said his way, looking to Wyatt. "Both of you."

Eli rose his eyebrows, following her quickly as they headed down the stairs. "Do you feel like going home?"

"Are you okay with that?" she gave a minor look his way.

"Are you kidding? I'd rather be anywhere else." he laughed slightly, latching onto her hand as they moved through the crowd of people. "Wanna hit up a meeting before going home?"

"That's probably smart." Alaska nodded her head in agreement, finding her car quickly.
