Zane came jogging down the stairs, Cedric close behind. "She's not here."

"What?" Gina turned around.

"Alaskas not in her room." Zane shook his head as he pulled his phone out. "Where the hell did she go? She went up there, right? Or did I just imagine that?"

"No, i'm pretty sure I know what our daughter looks like." Gina said in return. "Who are you calling?"

"Eli." he held the phone to his ear. "You try Daniel."

"Zane?" Eli answered the phone with an odd look. "You're calling me?"

"Is Al with you?" he grabbed his keys. "Can you put her on?"

"No, I thought you guys went home after the lantern release?" he stood
up from his bed quickly. "Did you try Sam?"

Zane looked toward his wife as Gina hung up the phone. "Not there."

Eli stared as his phone when Zane hung up. He hurried and got out of bed, finding his recents and letting it ring. "Hey, it's Alaska. Sorry for ignoring you, i'll call back soon."

"Voicemail." he huffed, grabbing his car keys and hurrying out of the house. He called Wyatt first, knowing Demetri was with him. "Is Alaska with you guys?"

"Uh, i'd hope not." Wyatt laughed as he looked to his very recent boyfriend. "Is everything okay?"

Eli was the one hanging up the phone this time, yanking the car door open.

Punching bags were meant to be paired with boxing gloves. But, late in the night, at a twenty-four hour gym that she'd only heard of once, one bruised hand, the other in a brace, Alaskas fist collided with the red punching bag. She breathed heavy, feeling the sweat on her forehead start to get heavier and heavier.

She hit it again, this time hurting her wrist. "Son of a-"

Alaska backed off with a deep inhale, staring at the taped photo of Terry Silver that she'd put on the punching bag before hand.

"What'd Mr.LaRusso tell you?" a voice made her gasp, turning around quickly. She hadn't heard him come in, she wondered what else she hadn't heard or seen when stuck in the zone. "You rely too much on your fist."

Alaska inhaled deeply as she stared at Eli. "How'd you find me?"

"Boyfriend intuition?" he suggested with a half grin, walking a little closer. "And maybe snap maps."

A little smile formed on her face. "I knew I shouldn't have added Anthony back right away."

"Where'd you find this place?" Eli pushed the punching bag as he looked around.

"Beth canceled her membership here when she got pregnant. I was in the car." she tightened her brace. "Wanna take a turn punching the bastard in the face?"

"Oh, that?" Eli pointed to the taped photo. "This is helping?"

"No, but it's keeping me distracted." he was glad she'd said that. He worried for her sobriety after today, even after her confident speech at the lantern release, he knew it was bothering her deep down. "You sure you don't wanna try?"

"You-" he walked behind her, grasping her arms and locking them behind her back. "-need to stop using those hands of yours if you want them to heal."

"What's the point?" Alaska used her left leg to kick to punching bag. "Just to get screwed out of what's mine again?"

"How else are you actually gonna knock the shit out of Silver?" he grinned, making her look over her shoulder and no longer be able to fight the smile. "I knew it was around here somewhere."

"I guess that does sound like a pretty good reasoning." she smiled, turning on her heels so they were face to face. "And, i'm assuming it would be pretty smart to take some advice from the All Valley champ."

His face flushed, nodding his head. "I don't know, his girlfriend is usually the brains of the operation."

"She sounds like a pretty smart woman." Alaska agreed before leaning in to kiss his lips for a second. "My Dad call you?"

"Yeah, i'm not sure how many times I can get in trouble with him before running out off strikes." Eli joked as he used one of his fingers to push one of the strand of hair off her sweaty forehead. "How's he gonna trust us to live together after next year for USLA if you keep making me look bad?"

"I'll take the blame." she cracked a half grin. "It's Cedric you've gotta talk to. He's been pretty 'anti-Eli' ever since you broke his favorite toy."

"You mean your cheap ass flip flops that were hanging in by a thread?" he had to laugh as she nodded. "Can I actually be blamed for that?"

"Oh, I think you can be blamed for most things but I like to soften the blow for you." she shrugged jokingly. "Hate to break it to you."

"Ouch." Eli placed a hand on his heart. "Let me down easy, will you?"

A little grin spread across her face again as he used his hips to bump hers. "You gonna be okay?"

"Yeah, i'm pretty sure." Alaska took a deep breath with a nod of her head. "I think that maybe I just need to take a breather from karate. You know, so these hands will heal finally."

"Well..." Eli trailed off with a little grin. "Lolly and Pop have been asking me about you. Wondering when you were gonna come visit them again."

"Oh?" she rose her eyebrows in return. "Do I smell a Clearlake visit in our near future?"

He sniffled the air. "Not sure, all I smell is a bunch of sweat."

"I hate you." Alaska shoved him with a smile as Eli laughed loudly. "Think we should invite Wyatt and Demetri?"

"Maybe, but it could be fun for just us to go." he shrugged slightly as she headed to her bag. "You remember what happened last time we brought Demetri?"

"I don't wanna remember." she admitted, grabbing her phone. "Jesus christ."

"What?" he walked over to stand behind her, seeing the many missed calls from her parents. "Ou, dog house."

"I could use some of that All Valley champ active right now?" she looked over her shoulder at him.

"Sorry, my girlfriend is usually the brains." Eli inhaled deeply as Alaska rolled her eyes. "If you're already in trouble...maybe wanna get some food?"

"Guac and wings?" she smiled widely, he knew that would uplift her mood. "I should probably let them know i'm okay though. Wouldn't want my Dad trying to knock Silver out again thinking he's snatched me off the street."

"True, even though that punch was badass." Eli pointed out as Alaska brought the phone to her ear. "I can even stay the night."

"Oh, my nights better already." she teased as he snuck his hands around her waist and rocked slightly. Zane answered the phone. "Hey. I'm sorry, I was just-"

Eli pulled back when she stopped talking, giving an odd look as Alaska flashed a worried look. "Yeah, i'll be right there."

"What is it?" he asked when she hung up.

Alaskas eyes widened. "Beth had her baby."
