When Terry got home, he wasn't sure why his alarm system was going off so bad.

When he finally did manage to shut it off and shut his doors, that's when he'd noticed the broken window in the living room. To him, it was thrilling to have someone break into his house. Especially when he had an idea who it might be. "Johnny Lawrence?"

"Sorry to disappoint." a voice from behind took him off guard, turning to see Alaska Lee standing in the middle of his dark kitchen. "Hope you don't mind the window. I don't have a key."

He flipped on the light and smiled at her. "Maybe I should get you one made, so we'll stop meeting in such horrible circumstances."

"I saw your sword collection." her eyebrows rose in just the slightly as she spoke of them. "At first, I was just coming to visit, but then I got to thinking about something."

"Sure." Terry narrowed his eyes, he saw so much in her. She was such a good fighter, in more ways then one. She's who he wanted to be the face of his dojo, hurting her was just revenge for not getting it sooner. "Do tell?"

"Silver." Alaska nodded her head. "Terence, not Terry. Right?"

He smiled. "Your mother pieced it together?"

"My Mother doesn't know." she stopped him. "You did lessons, with the swords, years ago in the Valley. But, you weren't going by Terry then, you had your students call you Terence."

"You're a smart one, you know that?" he leaned against the counter. "Smarter then your mother ever was. That's for-"

"If you ever-" her voice was calm, but she walked forward slowly. "-talk about my Mom to my face again, I'll-"

"You'll what?" he cut her off. "What is it you think you could do to me?"

"You know what I find funny." a small laugh left Alaskas lips. "How you trained my mother when she was just a child, yet still question her ability. She learned from the best, didn't she? Or do you question your own skill?"

"I could never. Gina was an amazing student." Terry narrowed his eyes, they both leaned on opposite sides of the counter to test each other, right on the same eye level. "Such a shame how your grandparents kicked her out after that pregnancy. It's a shame that-"

She slapped him. Terry laughed as his face turned to the side. "-her son ended up a loser."

"Don't talk about my Mom." she put her hands back before her. "You know, the way you framed me at the All Valley hurt, real bad. But what makes me even more disappointed is that you out of everyone else are the one that did it."

"Why do you say that?" he noticed the knife from his counter was missing.

"Because you know what an addiction can do to someone." this time, her eyes gave a flash of hurt. Alaska sat up more to return to her blank stare. "Yet you picked my one-fucking-year anniversary to destroy me with."

"I do know what you felt, and it's such a relief you've found a way to quit." he nodded with a smile across his face. "But, a real fighter would do whatever it takes to win. You know that more then anyone else. That's why you targeted my students and hurt them. How is that any different then what I did to you?"

"They hurt someone, so I hurt them back." she answered him with a shrug. "What have I ever done to get what you gave me?"

"Have you not hurt people before?" he asked her, she was quiet. "I think there's something about you, Alaska. Something that you can see. You've hurt people on the inside, and I think you enjoy doing it."

Alaska sat up. "I don't do that."

"You do." he nodded. "Then you regret it and apology, then do it to the next person."

"So that's why you fake a drug test? Because i've hurt a few peoples feelings?" she shrugged her shoulders with a laugh. "Is that all you've got? Really? No grand excuse, no form of manipulation that'll make me think that maybe I did deserve it? You just wanna sit here and feed me more bullshit while i've got a knife to the inside of your thigh?"

He was smart not to move, but he felt a poke right in the middle of his thigh from under the table. Terry smiled. "There she is. That's what I wanted to see."

Alaska held her head up as he smiled at her again. "This calm, choose the right side act you have, I can see right through it. You might have everyone else fooled, like you're the middle man that just wants to do the right thing all the time, but I can see who you are deep down. You're Cobra Kai."

Before he could react, she pushed the knife into his leg and let it go. Terry didn't expect that one yet, gripping the counter in pain, but he didn't react, he knew his words did more to her then any form of pain ever would. Alaska backed off with a shake of her head. "I'm getting really tired of hearing that."

"Why?" he laughed through his pain. "Because you know it's true?"

"If you wanted me to join your dojo that bad, the least you could have done was ask." she mocked him with a smile on her face. "The only way you will ever thrive is by stealing my win. At the end of the day, you need me. Maybe you're right, I guess I am Cobra Kai if i'm the only reason it's still fucking open."

Alaska left after that, leaving him to figure out what to do with a knife in his leg.

"We have watched Harry Potter every single movie night!" Wyatt protested as Demetri held the remote. "Demetri, i'm literally going to dump you if I have to hold you while you cry over Dobby again."

"Fine." Demetri tossed the remote at him. "I'm sick of these rom-coms you make me watch that make no sense!"

"The Notebook is amazing." Wyatt threatened him. "And I made you watch it once."

"Yeah, and it felt like a decade." he tilted his head with a mocking look.

"Okay, i'm done. Bring out the spin wheel." Kody sighed and fell on the couch.

Eli laughed at the pair, looking over at Alaska as she seemed to be lost in thought. He moved over to push up next to her. "What's got you so distracted over here? Your favorite activity is listening to them argue."

She turned her head with a little grin his way. "Just a long day."

"So I can see." he leaned in closer to her with a smile. "I really like the new hair."

"Oh, I was waiting for you to say it." she hummed mockingly. "Not like I don't compliment you every time you get a new color."

"Well, I was trying to wait until we were alone." Eli grinned as he pressed a very small kiss to her lips. "But, if you really wanna know-"

Alaska shoved his head with a laugh, rolling her eyes and leaning back on the couch.

"I'm not watching Lord of the Rings! I am not watching Lord of the Rings!" Wyatt ranted with a shake of his head.

"That's what the wheel landed on!" Kody defended himself with the spin wheel app pulled up.

"Why was that even in the category?" he tossed his hands up. "Alaska, what do you wanna watch?"

"The back of my head." she rubbed her head with an exhale. "I'm falling asleep over here. It's been an hour."

"Well, please make a suggestion." Demetri tossed his hands up at her. "Aren't you suppose to be the middle man?"

She didn't realize how many people genuinely thought she was. Eli looked over at her. "You do have pretty good movie taste."

"Mmm." she sat up with a thinking look. "Last Night In Soho?"

Demetri threw his hands above his head. "See?"

"A genius." Wyatt pretended to crown her before going to HBO.

"She shall be king." Kody mocked in a horrible British accent.

"Yeah, we'll grab the snacks." Eli stood up, grabbing his girlfriends hand and pulling her toward the kitchen. "Do you still have that good popcorn? Not the weird kind? But the really good one?"

"Hum, I don't know." she pulled his arm so he'd stop walking and turn around to her. "Popcorn isn't exactly on my mind."

A flush went across his face as she pulled him in for a kiss, his back against the wall in the hallway. His head bumped a photo but paid no mind to it when her free hand went to the back his head, protecting him from smacking it into the wall. Alaska smiled into their kiss, already feeling her stress and over-thinking from Terry melt away. She hummed against his lips in relief, letting his hand go to venture up toward his collar bones.

Her phone rang.

"Who is that?" Eli pouted as she pulled away, keeping her hand on his neck while the one behind his head reached into her pocket. "Al?"

"Miguel." she shifted her gaze to him.
