TONIGHT WAS the night the stars would witness the birth of the Avengers, a new generation.
As the walls of their homes witnessed the parents and parental figures announce the academy of young Avengers to their younglings, preparing them for the days ahead of them, the long days.

Excitement with a speck of anxiety zoomed through the teenagers as theirs guardians explained the situation, making sure none of this would go wrong.

Athena Stark packed her bags as she held the phone to her ear, hearing Sydney squeal about the excitement.
"I can't wait, maybe I can learn to actually use my powers!" She yelped through the other line as Athena folded the shirt, clicking her tongue.

"Wow can't say the same for myself, I have no talents or superpowers." She sighed as Sydney huffed heavily.
"You'll learn something!"

"Learn how to sweat immensely while beating slimy aliens? Yeah-no pass." Athena chuckled lightly, her robe tight against her body as her hair was curled into rolls.
"Quit being so negative 'Thena, live for once!"

James boggled his head to the rocking music as he roughly placed his worn out baggage, singing off-key.
"Woo!" He tossed the pair of underwear into the bag as his feet slipped, clapping his hands.

"Having fun?" Thea hollered from her bedroom as James chuckled as his cane guided him around the room.
"As much fun as a blind dude can have!"

Freddie sat on Lilianna's bed, folding her clothes as he helped her pack- already being done with his.

"Do you think I'll learn to use my powers?" Lilianna questioned him as he sighed simply, looking down at Lilianna whose eyes were twisted with anxiety as he held her stuffed animal.

"I'm sure they will, you'll do good don't worry." Freddie grinned down at Lilianna who let out a sigh of relief.

"Ready, kiddos?" Scott felt a sincere smile creep onto his face, leaning against the door frame as he held Freddie's luggage.

Freddie stood up as Lilianna followed behind, her white shirt stiff against her body as she tugged at it.

Luka zipped up his backpack, sighing as he felt disappointment wash over him- 'I'm only going for my mom...not for me.'

Clenching his jaw as he bit into the cigarette- fixing the straps of the backpack, making his way out the room.

"Alrighty, ready?" Wanda pushed her glasses up, placing her hands onto her hips as Reese held their orange suit case, looking at Sydney who tilted her head; wearing a heavier shade of red lipstick.

"As you know, I'm not allowed to go outside the perimeters." She cleared her throat as she hugged Reese tightly. "Love you." "Love you."

Wanda kissed Sydney's forehead, "love you." "Love you."

Wanda wrapped her arms around Luka who didn't receive her with a hug, but a stare so cold anyone would freeze at the sight of it. "Love you," she muttered towards Luka, before plucking out his cigarette and throwing it into the bin.

"Pfft," Luka scoffed as Sydney chuckled, opening the door for them as Stephen Strange waited for them outside- a stern look on his face.

The trees full-filled with fruit slightly brushed against one another at the smooth warm wind, rustling as the damp grass piled underneath their shoes.

"Thank you," Wanda muttered towards Strange who gave her a slight wave, "you're welcome."

Apollo tapped his foot anxiously as his eyes lingered out the car window, boggling his head at the music playing.

"Excited?" Sam Wilson looked down at Apollo who gave him a bright smile, a smile Sam knew Apollo's dad would love to see.
"Yeah, like really!" Apollo giggled as he sunk into his seat, letting out a deep breath of happiness.

"It sounds so cool...!"

Sam grinned at the young boy's amusement, clicking his tongue as his hand clenched the steering wheel.
"That's good kid."

Taylor sat outside of the Avenger's building surrounded by herds of trees- hidden. Her bottom on sharply still concrete as she bit into the taco her father bought, the fresh taste of tomato welcoming her taste buds.

'Best tacos.'

Athena stretched her arms as she groaned, her eyes widening at the sight of such a historic building, squinting her eyes as Hilary let out a yawn behind her.
"God, that was annoyingly long."

Elijah tripped out of the car, landing on his knees as he groaned-Pepper immediately grabbed onto his arms, picking him up as his knees were ashy and brittle with gravel.
"Oww!"

"Athena, Hilary!" A voice hollered towards Athena and Hilary who immediately turned around- noticing the fiery red hair.

"Sydney!" The two enveloped Sydney into an embrace, letting out squeals as Elijah scrunched his nose at them- 'girls are weird.'

"Hey!" Reese hollered as they ran towards them, a wide smile lingered onto her face as she gave the two a quick hug.

"It's so nice seeing you today, so excited." Reese adjusted her jeans as they held their breath in.
"Same!" Hilary smirked at Reese, Hilary has been crushing on Reese and practically everyone knew from the moment she gave them a valentines card in fifth grade.

"Oh, is that Luka?" Athena raised an eyebrow as she nodded towards Luka who leaned against the wall, holding the strap of his backpack.

"Yeah, he's...a ray of sunshine." Sydney chuckled as Haley giggled, looking at Reese who rolled their eyes playfully.

"And the king has arrived!" James announced himself as Elijah let out a hoarse laugh, the two collapsing each other into a hug.
"How are ya' buddy?" Elijah tapped James's cane, grinning as James clapped his hands.

"Wonderful, you?"

Elijah sighed as he crossed his arms. "As good as a Stark could ever be."

A sudden yellow and scratchy looking car beeped as it made its way into the parking lot, this car definitely not owned by anyone familiar to them.
"Whose car..."

"Woah, woah!" Luis felt his mouth go agape as he stopped the engine, glancing at the building in disbelief- opening the car door as the rust peeled against the metal.
" 'Ey, niños, get out." He chuckled as Freddie opened the door, retrieving his luggage as Hilary chuckled.

"What a funky car." Hilary cackled as Luis turned to her, a hint of hurt washed onto his face but quickly wiped it away.
'Niña pero tan-'

Pepper walked towards him as she raised an eyebrow, "and who are you?"

Luis looked up at the woman, chuckling, "Luis! My buddy, Scott Lang sent me here with his niños!"

"Hi!" Lilianna waved at Pepper who smiled gratefully, looking at Freddie who held her bag.

"Scott," Clint Barton chuckled as his friend's goofiness as Thea behind him, was invested into a book of astrology- her eyes capturing every picture.

Luis looked up at the building as he placed his hands on his hips. "This is...so cool!" He grinned as he gave Lilianna who backpack, helping her put it on.

Bruce Banner stepped out suddenly besides his daughter, who bit a large chunk out of her taco- crossing his arms.
Sam followed behind along with Apollo who stumbled through the rocks.

The group of teenagers drifted along the polished hallways as Taylor followed behind her father who turned around.

"This is the kitchen, I'd expect to see a lot of you here." Bruce cleared his throat awkwardly, pushing his glasses up as Luka glared at him sharply.

Thea ran her hands through the polished glass of the counter, sliding beneath her hand as James touched the stove- expecting it to be hot.
"It's not on, idiot." Elijah chucked as James lightly shoved him, "shut up."

"Shhh," Freddie shushed the two as James rolled his eyes, following beneath Bruce.

"This lab is highly off bounds," Bruce warned as the teenagers huddled around, looking through the glass as the scientists got to work- testing out different chemicals.

"Ya' think they can make stuff shrink?" Apollo grinned as he looked at Bruce who clicked his tongue.
"I'm sure they can, they can make stuff go bigger as well?"

"Bigger." James snorted as Thea rolled her eyes at his immaturity as Athena chuckled.

After touring all over the Avengers building, Bruce stopped right by the slim stairs that were held up by rocks.

"Alright, make sure you're headed to your rooms that are strictly under your name label." Bruce hollered as the teenagers thundered up the stairs- attempting to get there first.

Luka gripped the door knob as soon as the label read 'Luka,' the door smoothly sliding right as he raised an eyebrow at it.
'What a weird ass door.'

The room was a modernly built one, the bed placed besides the "wall" which was vaguely just glass.
Luka walked towards it as he carelessly threw his bag onto the floor, his shoulder bucking as he walked towards the glass; scoffing at the sight of the never ending trees, fog hovering over the glass from his hot breath.

Sydney sat on the bed, placing her posters of AC/DC onto the wall- her heart pounding with excitement plunging from her heart.

'Would I finally learn how to read the future correctly?'
'What if I read something I'm not supposed to...?'
'How would my power help?'

The moon shined brightly above the forest of mysteries as the stars thundered into space.
The crickets echoed within each noise as the leaves rustled, the smell of lake water intensified at night.

The teenagers sat around the table as they felt their mouths water over the sushi bowl onto their plates.
"Woah," Elijah gasped as Bruce smiled subtly before digging into his food.

Sydney sipped from her soda, the taste of sharp coke poking at her taste buds as her red nails imprinted onto the cup- gripping it.

Freddie placed a napkin on his legs, making sure it wouldn't stain anything as James chuckled, huffing as he did so.

Lukas silently ate his rice, his face numb as Hilary chatted with Athena and Sydney.
Hilary suddenly let the most ear curling laugh escape her lips- Lukas cringed and scrunched his nose.
"Dude, shut it." He snapped at Hilary who eyed him before turning back towards Sydney who glared at him.

'Did Hill Billy think she scared me off? Gag me with a stick.'

Apollo went for the bowl of rice, pulling his arm back when his elbow knocked over Lilianna's soda; pouring onto her legs as she gasped slightly.

"Oh god, I'm so, so sorry!" Apollo handed her napkins as she laughed under her breath, Freddie looked at Apollo- shaking his head.

"It's okay, don't be sorry!" Lilianna awkwardly smiled as she stood up, "excuse me." She muttered before making her way out of the kitchen as Apollo cleaned up the mess; muttering to himself.
'I gotta' be so clumsy.'

"This would be a good time to introduce yourselves," Sam concluded the thick atmosphere as everyone grew silent, the sound of utensils smacking against plates echoing:

Sam awkwardly looked around, tightening his mouth in a line.
"I'm Sam Wilson, your Captain America and I just throw a piece of metal around according to Apollo." straightened his posture, proud of who he was as Apollo smiled at him- feeling proud to call Sam his guardian.

"What happened to Steve?" James questioned as he held his cane, Apollo's face suddenly fell; going back to his sushi rolls.

Sam sighed simply, "he had unfinished business to attend to. Just like many of the Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D. needed you guys so you could combat the battles they couldn't."

"Ah, our new heroes." A new voice arrived as everyone turned around, Athena smiled widely- 'The ones and only...James Rhodes and Harold Hogan.'

"Spitting image of your parents!" Happy hollered as everyone suddenly grinned, James R. walked towards them as he crossed his arms.
"Refreshing to see our new heroes."

Sam scoffed, "you interrupted our introductions!"
James R. furrowed his eyebrows, "sorry? I'll just..."

The two soon left the room to apparently deal with the lab members after an accident had happened.

"Alright. Red," Sam nodded towards Sydney who placed her cup down from her lips, the mouth of the cup tinted in dark shades of red.
"Introduce yourself."

Sydney sighed as she looked around, sinking into the chair.
"I'm Sydney Maximoff, and I can kinda' predict the future, depends really." She nodded firmly as Apollo felt his eyes shift onto the girl- his stomach sinking suddenly.

"Now, lets go clockwise."

Their attention gained onto Athena who had various and colorful hair rollers into her hair, tilting her head.
"Athena Stark, and I solemnly have no purpose to be here." She clicked her tongue as James chuckled at her stupidity.

"Hilary Stark! Gun machinery!" She laughed as Luka rolled his eyes, letting a 'huff' escape his lips.

He clenched his jaw, picking at his food with the fork.
"Luka Maximoff, pyrokensis meaning I can burn your body whenever the fuck I want." He tilted his head to face Sydney, glaring daggers as his voice rose.

The silence poured as they felt somewhat anxious around him, clearly intimidated and swallowed in fear.

Bruce smiled at Taylor before she hesitated, knowing that speaking isn't her strength.
Lifting her hands as she began to use sign language, "I'm...Taylor Banner, mind r-reading." She struggled as she looked around, feeling comfortable as everyone gave her a warm smile. 'I'm welcomed.'

Freddie sighed as he crossed his arms onto the table, "Freddie Lang, telepathy." James smirked towards the boy, already liking his voice; 'this will be fun.'

Elijah grinned as he cracked his knuckles, "Elijah Stark, the better Stark," Athena scoffed, "gun fighting."

Thea closed her astronomy book, looking sharply at everyone who raised an eyebrow at her.
"Thea Barton, shadow manipulation."

Reese grinned and puckered their lips, "Reese Maximoff, fire control!"

Everyone turned around at the sound of squeaking, chuckling at Lilianna who ran down the stairs in her pajamas and bunny slippers that made noise within each step.
"Here!"

Apollo grinned cheekily at the girl as she sat down, then looking around everyone.
"Apollo Rogers, martial arts!" He looked over at Sydney, wishing for an approved look as she tilted her head with a stern look.
'She's way too cool for me.'

Lilianna swung her legs underneath the table, questioning why everyone was looking at her.
"What?"

"It's your turn to introduce yourself and your powers," Sam gave the girl a soft smile which she returned with a bright one.

"Lilianna Lang, uhm, hyrdokinesis!" She gave them a thumbs up, Luka lifted his head and looked over at the girl; raising an eyebrow at her very...bubbly choose of night wear.
'Opposite powers, how ironic.'

James swung his cane, grinning. "James Barton, the best blind dude out there, wind and air manipulation!"

Freddie enveloped himself between the covers and blankets, sinking into the bed as his eye lids began to feel heavily dreadful.

Studying the forest as its darkness was gloomed by the moon, letting out heavy breaths as he felt his sleepiness win the battle.

Sydney moved her hips to the sweet melody of the music, guitar riffs hidden around every corner as it drummed within her ear.

Rocking her head to the chaotic beat, swinging her arms as her feet hopped above the smooth carpet of the floor.

Suddenly, a sharp pain rocketed through her head, her body suddenly stopping it's motion as she let out heavy breaths.
'It's happening again...future.'

A vision suddenly emerged, sending her to nerves.

' A figure lied dead against the mountain of rocks, the sound of screaming echoing as the body laid dead. fire pouring into the scene and suddenly, a name is heard; a familiar name.
"T-!" '

Sydney fell to the floor, her nose bleeding as she wiped it; coughing as she did so. Her powers would outrage at times, lashing out a random moments.

Luka blew the cloudy smoke out from his lips, laying on his back as he emptily stared into the roof.
'Why the hell am I even here? For mom?'

The sudden sound of squeaking itched at his ears, groaning as he stood up and thundered towards the door- his foot steps heavy.

Slamming the door open as he looked through the hallway, making his way down the stairs.

Luka raised an eyebrow at the figure who sat besides the counter, clearly working on something as they swung their legs.
Steadily making his way there as he hid behind the book case, noticing the candle besides them.
'God, that annoying ass noise.'

Luka focused his mind onto the counter, furrowing his eyebrows as he focused intently.
His blood suddenly boiling intensely as his eyes snapped to the figure.
'BOOM!'

The fire briefly sprouted upwards, sending the figure into panic as they fell back in shock somewhat.
'Finally, maybe they'll shut up.'
