THE BIRDS chirped as the sun radiated its bright light, the wind gushing as the clouds hovered over the forest.
The smell of mouth melting bacon floated through the air as the teenagers have woken.

Apollo combed his damp hair slightly, ruffling it- bobbling his head to the smooth music, tender to his ear.

Placing his arm through the shirt holes as he lifted it over his head, slipping into his shirt.

Athena traced the tube of lip gloss over her lips, popping them as she stood up and turned towards the door.

Letting out a deep sigh as she slid the door closed behind her, yawning as she covered her mouth.
"What? Is breakfast a beauty pageant?" James chuckled as Athena rolled her eyes, scoffing as the two made their way down the stairs, side-by-side.

"It should be for you, you look...interesting today!" She poked as James clicked his tongue, lightly hitting her with the cane as they made their way towards the table.

Taylor placed her ear buds in, sighing as the song 'august' by Taylor Swift sweetly swept into her ears.
Tapping her sneakers against the arm of the couch as her fingers flipped through the pages of written emotions.

Suddenly interrupted when Reese sat besides her, tapping her shoulder; taking her earbuds out as the music faintly played.
"Yeah?"

'Reese, Hilary's crush.'

Reese smiled, "what are you reading?"
Taylor shrugged, showing them the cover which had the words 'The Outsiders, S.E. Hinton.'

Reese tilted their head, "looks like a cool book."
Taylor shrugged, lifted her hands up as she signed.
"One of my...favorites."

Reese giggled as they lifted their hands up, "might steal the book from you." They signed as Taylor tilted her head, smiling subtly.

Taylor met her dad's eyes who was preparing more breakfast, smirking as Bruce chuckled- sending Taylor to immediately snap her mouth shut.

Freddie grinned at the sound of squeaking as he bit into his bacon, the sharp flavor melting onto his tongue.
"Good morning, Lil." He cleared his throat as his sister sat besides him.

Her eyes drunken into sleepiness as she sniffled, half dead and half asleep.

"Pfft, not a morning person?" Freddie placed a slice of toast onto her plate as Luka rolled his eyes- biting into his toast.
'What? Is she a baby?'

"Thanks," she muttered as she held her fork, stabbing it into the toast as she felt her eyes flicker onto Luka.
"Good morning," she whispered with a smile on her face, a mouth-full of toast.

Luka raised an eyebrow at her, 'what does she want?'
Taking his plate, he stood up and marched away from them- easily bothered.

"Is he okay?" Lilianna turned to Freddie who handed her the bottle of syrup, shrugging.
"He's-"

"A cocky idiot, that's what he is." James slipped into the seat by her, immediately diving into his bacon as he chewed.
"Worst of the worst."

"Maybe he just needs to be comfortable and he'll be nice. Or friends!" Lilianna smiled as Sydney took the seat besides Athena who was showing Hilary her photoshoot.

"You think they make cotton candy flavored bacon?" Apollo questioned Elijah who stopped mid way through eating it, turning to him slowly.
"What the fuck man."

Taylor felt herself slowly being swallowed in boredom, clicking her tongue as she smirked; 'looks like a good time to read minds.'

She shifted her sight upon Sydney, always wondering what she had been thinking about; focusing onto her as she tapped her foot.
'Future? Vision? Death...?'

Focusing more into her, she gasped lightly.
'Sydney had a vision from the future...someone died.'
"Taylor?" Reese shook her shoulder, shaking her out of trance as Taylor turned to them.

"Yeah?"

"Are you alright?" Taylor nodded 'yes' firmly, sniffling as she glanced back at Sydney who laughed along with Athena.

Freddie opened his closet, finding a slim dark grey suit, the colors seemed as if they were washed from a storm- the label 'Avenger One.'
He felt a smile wipe upon his face at the sight of it, tracing his finger along the thick leather, strangely stretchy.

The teenagers lined up outside the Avenger's building, each wearing their suits, large field was freshly cut.

Bruce stood above them all, his hands behind his back.
"I've reunited all for a tiny practice, to get you started." Bruce grinned simply, looking at James R. who supervised everything.

"Run a lap around the field, now!" Bruce hollered at the teenagers who grew puzzled.
"What?"
"What!"

"NOW!" Bruce snapped, not hesitating, "Avengers react quick!"

Elijah was the first to run, jogging quickly as Athena, followed behind- holding her hair together.
Freddie immediately caught up, smirking to Athena who 'huffed.'

The dirt kicked behind James as he chuckled, heavily breathing as the wind blew heavily against their bodies.
"How the hell..." Sydney sucked in sharp breath, "are you seeing...where you're going?"

"The wind...it's my power!"

Apollo suddenly sprinted, surprised he hasn't tripped on his feet; kicking the gravel behind him as he caught up to Freddie, grinning as Freddie glanced at him.

Lilianna ran, the last one of the group being completely slow.
"C'mon, Lily!" Sydney cheered as she sprinted, heavily breathing.

Finally, making it to the finish line as Bruce stood there- hands in his pockets as Taylor sat on the concrete, breathing from her nose.

James chuckled, "not a sweat!" He "boasted" as sweat trickled down his neck, the boiling sun ripening his body as it itched inside the suit.

"H...Here!" Lilianna coughed as the side of her stomach ached, feeling embarrassed of her speed.
"Finally," Luka scoffed as he eyed the girl- Lilianna felt her face fall suddenly.

"Don't listen to him, Lil." Freddie frowned sharply at Luka who walked away from them. "You'll get better."

"Just like that, you guys have to get better." Bruce clapped his hands.
"Line, NOW!"

The puzzled teenagers formed into a sloppy like line, their heart beats accelerating heavily against their lungs.

After various stretches and exercises, Bruce lured them into the grass maze, the squares of grass most likely taller than Bruce as Hulk.
"This now?" James sighed as his red face fell, Bruce turned sharply to him.

"Avengers don't take breaks, James."

Lilianna grinned, excitement flushing into her as Sydney groaned.
"Avengers, pair by threes!" Bruce hollered as everyone looked around abruptly- puzzled by his actions.
"Three!"

Sydney clung to Apollo who stumbled, clinging to Athena who scoffed. "Guess we're a pair!"

"Two!"

Luka absolutely hated this, he hates anything that isn't solo or singularly done.
Groaning as he tapped Taylor's shoulder, "partners?" Taylor scrunched her nose, 'kill me.'

"ONE!"

James smirked as he looked at his partner, Freddie who rolled his eyes, sighing.

Bruce nodded firmly at the groups, "Avengers don't have time to pick their partners. So you don't as well," he clicked his tongue- nodding towards the maze.

"Out of the maze, three minutes top; starting...NOW!" Bruce hollered as the teenagers scoffed- making their way into the maze.

The grass and mud mushed beneath their shoes as they jogged into the maze.
"Alright, listen up!" Freddie gained their attention, clapping his hands. "Separate into your trios, and do not do anything stupid."

"Alright, go, go!"

James jogged behind Freddie whose shoes crunched underneath the grass, Hilary tagging behind. "Wa-Wait up!"

"Alright 'deafy,' where to?" Luka held his hands to his hips, clicking his tongue.
Taylor raised an eyebrow at him, 'do we have to stay together...meh.'

She suddenly sprinted with no warning, hoping she'd loose him as she ran and just ran.

"What!- Wait!" Luka hollered, 'she's deaf she can't hear me.'
He sprinted behind her as he felt branches of trees nip through his skin.
"Agh!"

"Wait!" A voice chimed in suddenly, 'what?' Turning around as he questioned.

"WAIT!"

Luka stopped in his tracks, hesitant as he found Taylor dodge out of his sight, jogging towards the voice.
'Oh god.'

Lilianna caught her breath as she smiled, "lets go! I'm here now!"
Luka raised an eyebrow, chuckling in disbelief. "Wha-What happened to your own team? Dumbass!" He exclaimed as Lilianna tilted her head.

"You are my team, did you not see me?" She laughed as Luka rolled his eyes- 'idiot.'

"Just...follow me, NOW!"

Thea lingered behind Elijah who ran towards Reese who felt sweat trickle down her neck, letting out gasp-less breaths.

"Where...are we going?" She coughed hoarsely as Elijah wiped the salty liquid off his forehead, placing his hands on his hips.
"I dunno, maybe out of this sweaty pit hole?" He sarcastically replied as Thea rolled her eyes.

"Woo!" Sydney cheered as they felt confident that this way the way.
"We'll make it out first, I just know." Apollo chuckled as they walked for a rest, sighing as they took deep breaths.

Apollo felt his eyes suddenly linger onto Sydney who flipped her hair, her eye blinding lip stick still stuck on her lips as if it was tattooed.

Athena eyed Apollo, smirking as she laughed to herself- her hair now thick and frizzy, 'ahh, the old cliché love story.'

"Hey, Taylor!" Luka called out towards Taylor who sat on the fountain, coughing as she did so.
"She's deaf, Luka." Lilianna gave him a lop sided smile as he rolled his eyes.
"No shit."

Luka tapped onto her shoulder, immediately causing her to jump as her face fell at the sight of them.
'Oh god. Oh hey, it's Lilianna!'

"Thank god we found you, now show us the way deaf girl." Luka snapped as Lilianna furrowed her eyes- looking up at Luka as she simply blinked.
"Her name is Tay-"

"SHUT IT," he grinned sarcastically at her before looking back at Taylor who scoffed. 'What an idiot.'

"Now, we NEED to get out." Luka sighed as Lilianna began to touch the water, laughing slightly as it flew beneath her touch- pointing upwards as a whole glob of it floated.
"And I think..." his voice became faint at the sight of her, a brilliant idea lightening into his dull brain.

"Dumbass...can you do that with much more water?"

James suddenly stumbled on a rock, sending him forward onto Freddie who yelped; "Aggh!"

James groaned in pain as Freddie backed up, his palm bleeding as Hilary widened her eyes- letting out a squeal.
"Guys...OH. ARE YOU OKAY?" She shrieked as she hovered her finger over his blood soaked palm, Freddie refused to look at it- standing up as he gripped Jame's arms, placing him up as well.

"We gotta' go, now."

Sydney sighed as she found the water fountain, hollering for the other two.
"A fountain! Except it's...empty?" She raised an eyebrow as Apollo caught up, letting out a deep sigh as Athena tilted her head.

"How odd, an empty water fountain. Must mean we're close to the exit!" Athena chuckled as she brushed her hair behind her ears, clicking her tongue as the suit stuck to her body.

"Lets not waste time, this sun is already murdering me alive." Sydney scoffed as she lightly jogged towards the left, being followed by her partners who groaned in a miserable state.

"Sydney, what the hell is that?" Apollo pointed towards the sky as Sydney snapped her sight onto it, hovering her hand over her eyes.

'What the actual fuck.'

A big glob of crystal clear water held what seemed like three people in it, sky rocketing through the sky as Athena laughed, "it's fucking Lilianna's tribe!"
'They know the exit.'

"QUICK, RUN! THEY'RE...HEADED TOWARDS THE EXIT!" Sydney sprinted as fast as she could, kicking mud behind her as her thundering hair waved fluently in the gentle breeze.

Bruce chuckled at the sight of the water in the sky, knowing finally, that one of them have used their powers in a clever manner.

"Ahh, about time." He walked towards the trio as the water gently placed them onto the floor, immediately splashing split onto the concrete as the trio were drenched in dirty fountain water.

"I almost drowned!" Lilianna laughed as Bruce gave Taylor a warm smile, which she responded with one back- Luka simply stayed numb, clenching his jaw.

After two minutes, the remaining teams began to pour out of the maze- while the other three were drenched in mucky water, they were drenched in sticky sweat.

"Alright, lets wrap it up for today!"

Athena ruffled her damp hair, the robes belt tightened around her waist as she held herself.

Her eyes glanced to the picture of her dad, sighing as she smiled at it.
'If only he could see me sweat for the first time in my life, he would be proud, very proud.'

A sudden knock at Athena's door brought her out of trance, hastily walking over to open it- meeting James's eyes.
"Dinner!"

The group of teenagers dove right into their food, hunger gnawing at their stomachs painfully as they held it.

The smell of sweet tender tacos bringing them into awe as the ripe guacamole tasted absolutely perfect, as if it came spitting from Mexico.

"Lilianna," Sydney whispered towards the girl who had a speck guacamole on her cheek; clearly invested in the food.
"Hm?"

The red head suddenly passed her a plate of tacos and beans to Lilianna's confusion, 'more food?'
"Wha-"

"Can you please take that up to Luka who is rotting in his room? He's too pissed to eat at the table," she snorted as she lifted her soda can- drinking into as Lilianna blinked simply.

"Sure!" Hopping from her chair as she made her way up the stairs, her slippers squeaking as Freddie glared at Sydney; praying Luka wouldn't do anything.

"I swear, I thought I was gonna' die!" Elijah dramatically gasped as everyone chuckled, rolling their eyes.
"Pfft, at least you weren't stuck with two idiots." Freddie smirked as he picked his food with the fork, James gasped as Hilary cackled.

"WE WEREN'T THAT BAD!"
"Ahh c'mon, buzz kill!"

Thea boggled her head as she sipped from her orange juice, swinging her legs as Reese placed the cup of salsa onto their plate.

"That was definitely the most scarring 'practice' ever." Athena groaned as the rolls in her hair bounced within each movement, sending James into giggles.

"Oh, it'll get harder from there." Sydney sighed as James began to wheeze along with Elijah.
"Harder."

Everyone raised an eyebrow at the two who held their stomachs with eyes closed and mouths open, 'they're definitely Avengers material.'

Luka raised an eyebrow at the sudden squeaking, sighing as he puffed out a cloud of smoke.

Lilianna knocked onto the door, holding the plate of food; "What?" A voice snapped as she clicked her tongue, rocking back and forth on her heels.

"Tacos!" She laughed as she stretched the 's,' humming to herself.
"Doors open."

Lilianna slid the door, immediately taken aback from the darkness and the heavy smell of smoke, holding her breath in as she entered the room.
"Uhm, are you Luka?"

Luka scoffed as he held the cigarette from his lips, looking back at her without moving his body.
"Can you read or somethin'?" He clenched his jaw as she scrunched her nose, taken small steps.
"I...have your food!" She lifted the plate towards him, awkwardly boggling her head.

"Just leave it on the bed and get out."

Lilianna placed the food onto the bed, turning around on her heel as she made her way out- stopping abruptly in her tracks as she turned around.
"Thanks for the idea, for the maze thingy! You're kinda' smart." She cheekily laughed under her breath as he tapped his foot, sitting on the bed.

"Yeah, yeah. You have guacamole on your cheek, by the way. Now get out."

Lilianna gave him a thumbs up as she smiled brightly, almost lighting his room up.
"Okay, cool room by the way, love the batman vibe!" She hollered into the room before slamming it shut, "bye Luka!"

Luka felt his eyes linger onto the door, furrowing his eyebrows- 'why is she so nice to me? I would've slapped and stabbed myself.'
