In the Nichols' home, there was joy because of a special guest. Although the house was small, it felt cozy.
—Dinner is ready! —Tory announced, calling the boys. Receiving no response, Tory approached the living room and found them watching Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man.
—Tobey is the best Spider-Man —Kwon said. —No, Tom is the best. You don't know anything, Chinaman —Brandon contradicted him.
—Oh, yeah? —Kwon replied before tickling Brandon, who began to squirm with laughter. Watching that scene, Tory thought it was very cute.
It had been a long time since she had seen her brother so happy, and a tear ran down her cheek.
—Tory, help me! —Brandon pleaded, looking for support. Kwon looked over at Tory, and they both stared at each other for a few seconds until Brandon broke the silence.
—Please, Tory, help me! I promise to clean the house —Brandon begged. Without thinking, Tory reached over, grabbed Kwon by the arms, and allowed Brandon to escape, retreating behind her. Kwon broke free from her grip, bent Tory's wrist, and pushed her down onto the couch, lying on top of her.
—If they kiss, I'll throw up! —Brandon said, making a disgusted face.
Kwon looked at Brandon and then at Tory. Smiling, he said:
—You'll have to.
—What? —Brandon replied in confusion.
Tory, without a word, grabbed Kwon by the neck and kissed him. Kwon reciprocated the kiss briefly, and they pulled apart. Their foreheads met, and they looked into each other's eyes.
—How disgusting! Tory, I want to eat. I don't want to watch that. I want to eat dinner —Brandon said with distaste. Tory got up and said to them:
—Let's eat, wash your hands.
—You too, Chinaman —she added, winking at Kwon. Surprised, Kwon obeyed, unable to believe that a few days ago they hated each other, and now they had kissed, although he knew they had done it to annoy Brandon.
At Johnny's house, the Diaz family was gathered. Johnny, who had arrived with Miguel after a long day, received a call.
—Hello? Who the hell is this? —Johnny answered.
—Johnny, it's Shannon —the woman said. —I found Robby in the park; he's really bad and he stinks.
—That Robby, he's probably sweaty. He didn't shower after practice.
—He had a relapse —said Shannon quickly. —I'm on my way.
Johnny cut the call and went to his car.
—Sensei, what's wrong? —asked Miguel, worried.
—Johnny, is everything alright? —Carmen interjected.
—It's Robby; they found him. I'm going to get him —Johnny said before leaving.
On the other hand, at the LaRusso's house, everyone was worried because they didn't know anything about Robby. Sam called Miguel.
—Miguel? —Sam asked.
—Sam, tell me.
—Anthony knows something. Devon saw him worried and left; that's all he said. And Johnny?
—The sensei found Robby. He just got a call and left.
—That's good news. I'll tell my dad; I'll see you. Bye —Sam said.
—Bye —Miguel replied.
At the Nichols' house, Tory was serving the food.
—Well, let's eat! —Tory announced. Dinner passed quietly. Kwon and Brandon shared small talk while Tory looked at Kwon, thinking about how she had dared to kiss him. She remembered Kim's words, "Your feelings make you weak." Those words echoed in his mind, hard to forget. Kwon, meanwhile, pondered whether it had been a mistake to approach Tory. He wasn't supposed to get emotionally involved, as Kreese had taught him.
—Take that anger inside you and give it purpose.
Brandon broke the silence between the teens:
—Thanks, Tory. I'll brush my teeth and go to bed —said the boy before leaving. Kwon offered to do the dishes, avoiding Tory's gaze.
—What's wrong? —asked Tory, annoyed.
—Kwon! —Kwon continued washing up without looking at her, wondering if the kiss had been a mistake.
—Kwon —Tory insisted, leaning closer. —Look at me!
—What do you want, Nichols? —Kwon answered without looking her in the eye.
—Nichols? It's Tory, please —said the blonde, irritated.
—Just tell me one thing —Kwon said seriously, finishing washing up. —Did you kiss me just to annoy Brandon? Because if so, I...
At that moment, Tory interrupted him with another kiss, wrapping her hands around his neck. Kwon, full of passion, reciprocated, resting his hands on Tory's legs and lifting her up to sit her on the table. She wrapped her legs around him, and their hands roamed each other's bodies. They parted for lack of air, and Tory was the first to pull away.
—I love you —said Tory.
—What? —asked Kwon, pretending to be deaf. —I didn't hear well.
—I love you, my Chinese —answered the blonde.
—And I love you, my Goldilocks.
They both went to Tory's room, but not before seeing little Brandon sleeping peacefully. They entered Tory's room and lay down under the covers.
—Good night, blondie —said Kwon, placing a kiss on her forehead.
—Good night, chinito —replied Tory, kissing him on the lips before they fell asleep in each other's arms.
Meanwhile, Johnny finally arrived at Robby and Shannon's location. He helped his son into the car, and Shannon assisted him.
—Come on, I'll take you home —Johnny said to his ex.
—Don't worry, Johnny. I'll take the bus. Let me know how it goes; I don't want him to relapse.
—I'll talk to him, don't worry —said Johnny, calming her down before leaving.
The trip back was smooth, without much traffic. Johnny arrived at his house and carefully put Robby down.
—Oh, my God, Robby! —Carmen exclaimed when she saw him.
—What happened to him? —asked Rosa, worried.
—He'll be fine; he just had a bad night —answered Johnny briefly while he settled Robby on the bed.
He couldn't believe how his son, who had quit drugs, had now fallen again.
—What happened? —Carmen asked when she saw Johnny's concern.
—Robby, before he met LaRusso, was living with drugs and idiots. He had a relapse —Johnny burst into tears. Carmen consoled him while Rosa brought him a glass of water.
—Besides, there's something I didn't say —Johnny continued. —Nobody knows, not even Daniel. But it doesn't matter.
—We won't tell Amanda, will we, Mom? —said Carmen.
—You're right; we'll keep the secret —affirmed Rosa.
—That day Robby disappeared, I had a meeting with Tory. She was having a hard time, and I had no choice but to help her. Her aunt wanted to kidnap her brother; I stopped her and promised not to say anything. But Tory can't do it alone. I know how it feels, and it hurts me that I can't do more.
—You did too much, Johnny. Saving her brother makes you a good man —Carmen commented, taking him by the shoulders.
—It's true, you helped that creature, and that's a kind thing to do, Johnny.
While the adults were talking, they didn't realize that Miguel was listening to everything from his room.
In the Kreese dojo, Kim was talking with his grandfather and his loyal student, Yoon.
—If you want me to be proud of you, you must show me that you can.
—I don't trust Kreese —said Kim Sun-Yung.
—I know what I'm doing. Kreese is not Silver, but I don't like his changes either. Kwon as captain...
—Yoon is more of a leader than him. But, Grandpa, I'll do better than that —said Kim, looking into the shadows. —You can come out now. Yoon, who was hiding, came out and answered:
—Yes, sensei.
—You know what to do, don't you? —Kim asked.
—Break the bond between Kwon and Tory without them knowing.
—You will make the decisions, not Kreese —said the student.
—Exactly, that's why you will be the infiltrator. You must observe them and provoke fights by getting close to them. When there is an important event, you must appear there to cause chaos —ordered the Asian.
