Kim Sun-Yong was the referee. He had to keep a close eye on everyone's moves, analyzing who would be able to lead the Sekai Taikai in Spain and who would be his deputy. No one wanted that position; everyone wanted to be a leader.

Both were in combat position. A signal was enough for both of them to destroy each other.

Yoon was the first to attack with a kick that Kwon easily blocked. He countered with a kick to the face that knocked Yoon down.

But Yoon didn't give up and kept fighting. He got up and tried to punch him several times, managing to hit him in the stomach. For the first time, Kwon was on his knees in front of someone.

Yoon took the opportunity to continue fighting, but when he tried to finish him off, Kwon hit him in the neck with both hands.

No doubt, that hurt him badly, but Yoon continued to hold him down. Kwon had him in a headlock. Yoon couldn't take it anymore, but Kwon's fury didn't stop.

At one point, he grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up, which made everyone think he would walk away. But he was only taking distance to finish him off with a kick in the back.

–I won! I will remain the leader,— said Kwon defiantly.

—You won, but at what cost? Now your girlfriend will pay the consequences— said Kim.

—You won't. You wanted me to give up the leadership—said kim

—I agreed to fight to prove that I am capable of anything—

were Kwon's last words before leaving the place, unaware that Kreese was watching everything from the beginning, hidden as was his custom.

The class finally ended. Tory was the first to leave to feel relieved after so much pressure with math. She couldn't take it anymore, even though Moon's invitation pleased her, so she would go find Brandon.

On the way out, Tory was walking away when Moon caught up with her.

—Tory, wait!—said Moon.

—What happened?—Tory asked.

—I forgot to give you the address. You can bring whoever you want—said Moon before leaving with Yazmine.

—You invited her? Are you crazy? —Yazmine cried in annoyance.

—Sam and Tory made up. It would be a good time for them to talk. —Too much tension attracts bad energy, Yaz,— replied Moon.

Sam, Miguel, Demetri and Hawk caught up with the girls.

—Hi, Moon— Hawk greeted, giving his girlfriend a kiss.

—How's the prettiest girl? —Demetri said to Yazmine, who had a worried look on her face.

—Yazmine is upset because Tory is going to the party,— said Moon, hugging Hawk.

—It's just a party. Besides, nothing will happen. What could happen? Another fight? That would be crazy,— said Demetri, trying to reassure her.

Tory, who was looking for her brother to leave him with her neighbor, arrived at Brandon's school, where he was waiting for her with a smile on his face.

—Hello, Brandon—said Tory cheerfully.

—Tory—exclaimed the youngest, running to hug her.

They both walked quietly to the bus stop.

Meanwhile, Kwon was worried about Tory. If he was able to do anything, he had to take care of her. Suddenly, his phone rang.

—I wanted to thank you for the flowers it's a nice gesture—.

—It's nothing, blondie—Kwon answered, about to tell her what happened, but decided to erase the message.

—You know, I was invited to a party today and I'd like to go with you. I'll feed Brandon and leave him with the neighbor.

—I don't know, Tory, I'm not sure," Kwon hesitated.

—It's because of the Sekai Taikai selections. Besides, I think Yoon will go too. I warned him.

Kwon put his hands to his face, knowing that if he was invited, nothing good would come of it. He was forced to agree.

—All right, I'll pick you up.

—See ya. Kiss, bye, giggles—Tory said goodbye.

The trip was uneventful. Tory and Brandon arrived home and, as they did, Tory noticed a court notice. Seeing it, she tore it off and put it away.

—What is that, Tory?—Brandon asked curiously.

—Ah, it's a work flyer. You know I need one,—Tory replied, unconcerned.

—Hey, Brandon, I'll make lunch. Kwon and I are going to a party, and you're staying with the neighbor. Try to be on your best behavior.

—Yeah, Tory, I'll be good, I promise. But... you're not going away like Mom, are you?—asked the boy, sad.

—No, my boy, I'm not going anywhere. It will always be you and me,—said Tory, hugging him.

—And those flowers, did your boyfriend bring them?—asked Brandon.

—Too many questions, I'd better serve you lunch,—said Tory, changing the subject.

The Nichols family seemed calm, in harmony. On the other hand, the LaRussos were experiencing some tension.

—I'm telling you, I met Tory, and she rejected me. She yelled at me,—Amanda said.

—I can't believe it. Didn't all those times you were in Miyagi-Do teach you anything? It was in vain...—answered Daniel, interrupted by the arrival of his children from school. He changed the subject quickly.

—What's going on here?—asked Sam, noticing the tension between his parents.

—Nothing, why would anything happen? It's all right, honey,—Amanda replied, calming the situation. —Hey, Anthony, are you hungry?

—Always,—Anthony replied, and went with his mother to the kitchen.

Daniel and Sam faced each other. Sam wouldn't leave until he knew the truth.

—What happened between you and Mom?—Sam asked.

Daniel, frustrated, motioned for him to sit down. Sam did.

—Your mother ran into Tory. She tried to talk to her, but Tory shouted her down. And that was it.

Sam was stunned. Would this be the same Tory who said "what a nice sweater" today and was being nice? Why was she behaving differently with her mother? But she chose not to say anything.

—I can't believe it, Tory. She was different, she had changed.

—People like Tory don't change, Sam. If she took that behavior when we denied the fight, I'm not surprised by her reaction,—said Daniel.

Meanwhile, at the Diaz household, they were looking at the things Robby had bought for Carmen.

—Oh, Robby is a great kid,—said Carmen, looking at the things.

—He is, and besides, it's very sweet of him,—affirmed Rosa.

—I would like to thank him personally,—said Carmen.

At that moment, Robby and Miguel arrived.

—We are here!—announced Miguel.

—Hi guys, how did it go?—asked Rosa.

—Well, mom. We're going to a party with Robby and Sam, for being selected for the Sekai Taikai.

—All right, Miggi,—said Carmen.

—Hi, Mrs. Diaz,—Robby greeted both women.

Robby hugged Carmen.

—Thank you for all the things, you really are a great guy,—said Carmen.

—It's nothing, Mrs. Diaz,—replied Robby, kindly.

—So you guys are going to have fun, huh? Remember to take care of yourselves. Use protection,—said Johnny, giving his peculiar advice, while the young men looked at each other funny.

—I'd like to talk to you alone,—said Robby.

—Sure, Robby,—replied Johnny.

They left the house and began to talk.

—Tell me it's not true,—said Robby.

—What?—asked Johnny.

—Tell me you didn't go to see Tory and didn't tell me.

—How do you know if I didn't tell you? Who told you?—Johnny asked.

—Does it matter? Did you meet her? Do you train her for the Sekai Taikai? Do you help her with money, or do you plan to adopt her?—Robby asked, annoyed.

—You know, I thought everything was different. I thought you and Daniel would get along, but she's the reason you argued, isn't it?—the brown-haired man exclaimed, furious.

—Robby, I...—Johnny tried to calm him down.

—Don't bother. I'll go with Miguel to the party. See you, Lawrence,—said Robby, going back into the Diaz house.

Johnny felt bad about himself; the fact that he understood Tory for her situation had brought him into fights, and he felt guilty.

As the door closed behind Robby, Johnny stood outside for a moment, wrestling with his thoughts. He wanted to help Tory but at what cost? The tension between the families was palpable, and he could see it weighing on Robby.

Inside, Robby joined Miguel and the others, but his mind was elsewhere.

—You good, man?—Miguel asked, sensing Robby's distraction.

—Yeah, just... thinking about Tory and all this drama,—Robby replied, shaking his head.

Miguel nodded, understanding the weight of the situation.

—I get it. It's messy, but we can't let it ruin our night, right?—he said, trying to lighten the mood.

—Right. Let's just have fun. We'll deal with it later,—Robby agreed, but he couldn't shake the feeling that the night was just the calm before the storm.

As they prepared to head to the party, the tension between their worlds hung heavily in the air, waiting for the right moment to explode.

On the other hand, Nichols was thinking about that notice. It had been days since that incident with the social worker. He couldn't go on like this; he had to think of a solution. But how? Getting a lawyer would cost him three times his salary. There was no way out.

Seeing her little brother, she thought of everything and decided that a different life would be better for him, so leaving him with the neighbor would be a good option. She could take her mind off everything, without the intention of telling Kwon.

—Brandon, let's go to the neighbor,—said Tory.

—Promise to come get me?—Brandon asked.

—Of course I will, I'll just be a few moments. I promise to come back,—said Tory.

Leaving him with his neighbor, she said:

—Be good, take care of yourself, I love you.

At that moment, Kwon arrived, carrying some bags.

—Chinese!—shouted Brandon, running towards him.

—You did come!—said the little boy.

—Of course I did, plus I brought you some presents,—said Kwon, showing the bag.

—Thank you very much. May I open it now, Tory?

—Open it with Mrs. Praton and then show them to me, okay? Have fun.

—Yeah, Tory, bye-bye.

—Bye, champ.—

—Bye, champ,—Kwon said goodbye.

—Take care of my sister,—said Brandon before both young men left.

That was how they both said goodbye. Although Tory pretended to be fine, Kwon maintained a concern; if what Kim said was true, then Tory was in danger.

As they walked away, Kwon couldn't shake the feeling of dread building inside him. He glanced at Tory, who wore a brave face, but he knew her well enough to see through the facade.

—Are you sure you're okay?—he asked, slowing his pace to match hers.

—I'm fine, Kwon. Just a bit tired. You know how it is,—Tory replied, forcing a smile.

Kwon nodded, unconvinced.

—You can talk to me, you know. Whatever it is, we'll figure it out together,—he said, his voice steady.

Tory sighed, looking away.

—I appreciate that, but right now, I just want to enjoy the party and forget everything for a while.

Kwon studied her expression, knowing that there was more beneath the surface.

—Alright, but if you need me, I'll be right there,—he reassured her, hoping to ease her mind.

They arrived at the party, the sounds of laughter and music filling the air. Kwon took a deep breath, trying to push aside his worries for Tory's safety.

As they entered, the atmosphere was lively, but Kwon's eyes scanned the crowd, looking for any signs of trouble. He spotted Sam and Miguel by the snack table and waved them over.

—Hey! Glad you could make it!—Sam greeted them.

—Yeah, wouldn't miss it,—Kwon replied, but his gaze drifted back to Tory, who was chatting with some friends.

—You okay?—Miguel asked, noticing Kwon's distraction.

—I'm just worried about Tory,—he admitted quietly.

—She seems fine. Just let her have fun, man. It'll do her good,—Miguel encouraged.

Kwon nodded, but the unease lingered. He knew the night was still young, and anything could happen. As the party continued, he made a silent vow to keep an eye on Tory, ready to step in if anything went wrong.

Tory, noticing this, asked him—What's wrong, Kwon?

—Nothing, sweetie. I just had training with sensei today,—said Kwon.

—Right, I forgot,—said Tory.

—No, not at all. We didn't do much more than warm up,—Kwon clarified.

—Then why do you have that look on your face?—Tory insisted.

Kwon was about to answer when Yoon appeared with his bumps covered:

—Hi, guys.

—Hi, Yoon. You did come,—said Tory.

—Unfortunately,—said Kwon between his teeth.

—Guys, come on,—said Tory, trying to lighten the mood.

They took a cab that dropped them off at the party. At Moon's house, ambient music was playing, with the smells of alcohol and colored lights filling the air. Sam had arrived at the party with concern. Miguel noticed and asked him:

—Sam, what's up? Do you have something?

—Remember we ran into Tory?—Sam asked.

Miguel nodded.

—Well, Mom ran into Tory, and she...—Sam's mouth dropped open as Tory arrived with Kwon and Yoon.

—Oh, my goodness,—said Sam.

Moon greeted the guests with a warm welcome. In the crowd was Robby, talking to Hawk, but when he saw Tory, his gaze became tense. Hawk looked confused, not knowing who the boys were. Yazmine observed suspiciously, accompanied by Demetri. The way they looked did not convey good vibes.

To break the tension, Moon paused the music and proposed a game:

—Hey, guys! How about playing 7 minutes in paradise?—suggested Moon.

Sam, somewhat uneasy, agreed but remained calm; she came to relax, not to have worries.

Anthony asked, curious:

—How's the game?

—We spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on has to go to the closet with someone,—Moon explained.

They all sat in a circle. Yoon had something better in mind: he would take this opportunity to unbalance their leaders. The first ones were Miguel and Sam. They both entered the closet, and Moon set a timer to keep track.

After 7 minutes, Miguel emerged with lipstick on his face, and Sam looked muddy. The couples continued: Yazmine and Demetri, Moon and Hawk, until it was Robby's turn with a girl who had been watching him. Before entering, Robby gestured to Tory just to annoy her.

Tory ignored him; she stood next to Kwon, keeping a serious demeanor, both preferring privacy over public displays.

Kwon noticed Robby's gesture and tightened his grip on Tory's hand.

Finally, the 7 minutes came, and, for better or worse, Robby played with a girl. He wasn't ugly, so she was willing. Kwon, on the other hand, looked serious; he didn't seem to have any intention of being alone with anyone other than his girlfriend. He stood his ground.

—Hey, it's our turn, handsome,—said the girl flirtatiously.

Tory shot daggers at her with her eyes, but Kwon held back, refusing to drag her all over the house. He looked her up and down and said:

—No.

—Why don't you want to go?—asked the girl, moving closer to him.

Kwon moved away from her, avoiding physical contact, and said:

—One, I don't want to; two, I have a girlfriend, and I respect her; and three, I don't like you.

—Come on, Kwon, it's only 7 minutes, or are you afraid Tory will kick you?—Yoon teased, provoking.

Everyone looked at the couple, knowing Tory was dating Kwon.

—Why don't I kill you right now instead of her?—Kwon said, standing up in annoyance.

At that moment, Miguel and Hawk intervened to separate the confrontation.

—Guys, this is not the time!—said Hawk.

—You stay out of it,—Yoon shot back, pushing Hawk.

—Enough!—exclaimed Miguel. —It's a party, and we want to enjoy ourselves. If you want to fight, get out of here.

Tory and Kwon exchanged one last look. Although the tension was still present, they both walked away. The atmosphere calmed down a bit as others tried to get back into the party mood, but the shadow of discord lingered in the air. Tory rolled her eyes; it was just the start, and already there was a fight. She stood up and grabbed Kwon by the arm, pulling him away from the crowd.

—So, fighting? You can't ignore that. You know he's an idiot,—said Tory, annoyed.

—What did you want me to do, kiss that girl? You're my girlfriend; I don't owe her anything,—Kwon replied, his tone defensive.

—You know, I just wanted to spend a relaxing day celebrating that we're leaders, but you're just looking for fights, and I can't stand...

—Right words, wrong person,—Robby said, appearing out of nowhere.

Robby looked at the scene with mixed emotions but wasn't going to waste the opportunity.

—Hey, surely you're her boyfriend and you probably know all about her, right?—Robby asked, a smirk forming.

—It's none of your business. You'd better get the hell out of here,—Kwon warned, stepping forward.

—That means she didn't tell you everything, did she?—Robby pressed on.

—You know I'm losing my patience, so if you don't want me to kick you, you'd better leave,—Kwon said, stepping in front of Tory and pushing Robby.

—Take your hands off me,—Robby exclaimed, brushing him off.

—Do you know why your girlfriend is still studying at West Valley? You don't, do you?—Robby taunted.

Kwon looked puzzled. How did he know Tory and Johnny had seen each other? He didn't know the man. A thousand theories raced through his head.

—Years ago, your girlfriend got into a fight where she seriously injured a girl, leaving her with scars on her arms and panic attacks. Do you know how she did it? With a spiked bracelet,—Robby continued, watching Kwon's face as realization hit.

Tory felt embarrassed; even though she had apologized to LaRusso, she felt terrible. Everyone listened intently to what Robby was saying, glancing at Tory with a mix of fear and contempt, just as they had in the past.

—Shut your mouth, Keene,—Tory snapped.

—Sure, your boyfriend knows you're seeing my dad alone, doesn't he?—Robby added, leaning into the tension.

Kwon looked even more puzzled. How did he know about Tory and Johnny?

It seemed your girlfriend is a liar. Remember, Tory, what you said before when you claimed to love me? You and me on the mat together. We made a deal. Do you remember, or did you forget so fast?—Robby's tone turned cold, seeking to drive the dagger deeper.

Kwon was upset.—Listen to me, Keene. Whatever happened between you is in the past. It doesn't affect me at all.

—Why don't I show you? Me and your girlfriend in the closet, seven minutes alone. You trust her, don't you? How much do you really trust her?

—I won't do anything stupid with you, Keene,—Tory interjected.

—I trust her, Tory. Do it,—Kwon replied resolutely.

So they went back to the courtyard. Robby and Tory headed inside. Kwon stared at the door; now it was he who was watching the clock. Inside the closet, Robby and Tory were filled with anger and annoyance.

—Nice show you put on there,—Robby taunted.

—Shut your mouth, you idiot,—Tory shot back.

—Why don't you shut me up?—the red-haired man challenged.

—Never.

—How much time is left? This hell is dragging on,—Tory complained.

—Really? You forgot everything and renewed with him. You remember the party, your dress, you and me in Silver's car together. You remember how he whispered my name,—Robby leaned closer, his voice a whisper. —You wanted more, and you wanted it mercilessly.

Tory didn't know what to say; even if she insisted it was her ex, Robby still managed to keep her on edge. They brushed their lips together, gazing into each other's eyes.

—You're still mine, Nichols,—Robby said in a whisper just before the tension reached its peak.

That was all it took for both young men to launch into a kiss full of fury and passion, their mouths seeking each other out. They opened the door, revealing a spectator in the front row: Kwon, who only applauded and said:

—Yes, I can see how much you hated it,—before he turned and left.

Tory broke off the kiss when she heard that; she had fallen into Robby's trap.

—I told you you still want me, Nichols,—Robby smirked.

Tory pushed him away and went in search of Kwon. She followed him with quick strides, tears filling her eyes.

—Kwon, Kwon,—Tory called out to him.

—What do you want? Was I enough fun for you? You claimed to love me and you betrayed me. You're a traitor, just like you betrayed Cobra Kai before. You destroyed me, Nichols.

—He's my ex. He means nothing to me,—Tory insisted.

—That's not what I saw. Do you know what I did for you? Do you have any idea?

Tory felt confused, not knowing how to respond.

—Look, the trip to Spain is in a few days, but I don't want to see you.

Two broken hearts shattered that day. To make matters worse, the rain began to fall, soaking both young people in their tears. Kwon arrived home, heartbroken, and smashed everything in sight. Once that was done, he sat down and started to break down.

After the party, Miyagido walked away from the place. Sam was visibly upset.

—Robby, what did you do?—Sam asked, irritated.

Although she didn't like Tory, she felt the situation had become unnecessarily complicated.

—She has a boyfriend, and you just made things worse,—Sam complained.

—I didn't force her to kiss me,—Robby replied, defensive.

—Technically, it was the same thing that happened a while ago,—Demetri interjected, recalling the previous incident at school.

—You know, this was crazy. I don't know what's going to happen, but we need to renew our strength for the tournament, which is coming up,—Hawk said, trying to calm everyone down.

—He's right. Let's go,—Miguel agreed.

The group dispersed, heading home and reflecting on what had happened while preparing for the next challenge. Tory, meanwhile, hurt herself until she bled. Her fits of rage grew even worse. None were spared the pain. Yoon had notified his sensei of what had happened.

—Sensei, the plan worked out perfectly,—the teenager reported.

—We knew we could count on you. Good job,—Kim said over the call.

Days passed, and the day of the trip arrived. The party was in chaos; everyone was talking about it. To avoid it, they focused on the Sekai Taikai.

Tory arrived with dark circles under her eyes, her hair tied in a ponytail and dressed casually. Kwon came in with his bags and carrying a purse. They both ignored each other; neither dared to speak.

Kreese sensei announced something before boarding the plane, alongside Kim Da-eun sensei.

—You made it this far because of your strength, determination, and power, and Cobra Kai will go to the top. So get ready for this journey; it is unique and unparalleled,—he declared before entering the plane.

But before that, Tory received a call.

—Hello, Miss Nichols,—said a woman on the other end.

—Is that me?—Tory asked, confused.

—I wanted to let you know that I will be handling your case for custody of your brother. If you could email me documents such as your ID and any paperwork, I would be happy to help you.

—Of course, I'll send them to you right away. But how did you know about my case?

—That information is confidential, but I can only say that he asked for it. Have a good day, Miss,—Vanessa cut in before hanging up.

At that moment, Tory turned to look at Kwon, and he returned her gaze. But it was not of love; it was of disappointment and betrayal.

Once they arrived at the plane, they sat in their seats, and the trip began. After a few hours of flying, they finally arrived and dropped everything off at the hotel.

The rooms were ready. Tory saw an opportunity to talk to Kwon, but he was in his room, carrying the new gi Kreese had given each of them.

Once they came out, everyone was almost ready. Only Tory was missing.

—Does anyone know what's going on with Nichols?—Kim asked.

They all looked at Kwon; they knew what had happened, and he was the closest to her.

—Kwon, go see your partner,—Kim ordered.

—I won't go,—Kwon answered defiantly.

—Do it now,—the sensei insisted.

Kwon looked at Tory, who was in the bathroom putting on her gi. At first, he was astonished, but then he saw her and said:

—Why are you taking so long? We are waiting for you.

—Shut up, I'll be right out. I don't need help,—Tory replied, sounding cold.

—How stubborn. You still don't know how to tie your gi. Even Brandon would do better,—Kwon said incredulously.

—Shut up and leave me; I'll be right out,—Tory snapped.

Kwon approached slowly, took both ties of Tory's gi, and formed a knot.

—You're done. Now let's go,—Kwon said, dismissing her.

Tory followed Kwon, and so they went. All Cobra Kai marched in line. It only remained to get to the place where everything would take place. All the dojos had already shown up; only Cobra Kai was missing.

Before entering, Kwon stopped Tory and said:

—Just as you broke me, I hope you can also break them all without mercy,—he said before leaving and forming up.

That was when they were all lined up. First was Kwon as the leader, leading everyone. Only one person was missing: Tory.

Kwon looked in the direction of the blonde who was supposed to arrive with her hair down. He turned to see her, but she was looking at Robby. Miyagido looked on in surprise.

It was Tory, who was now in Cobra Kai. Robby, Miguel, and Sam looked on sadly. Miguel felt a strong anger rise within him, and Johnny and Daniel looked devastated.

Kreese blurted out a few words before starting:

—Let the games beging
