Lavender ran into the Academy only to see Pogo standing before her.

"Pogo.... has Klaus come home?" she asked him hopefully.

"Master Klaus appears a few minutes ago. He was asking for you" the chimp said and before she could reply her legs where already taking her up the stairs.

"Klaus!" she called our checking the rooms. The bathroom door behind her creeked open making her turn around quickly and see the familiar green eyes she's been looking for.

"Lavender" he simple said. Something was off. Lavender could since that. She blinked making sure she actually was seeing him.

"Klaus, i've been looking for you all over the city" She said while walking near him.

"You where?" he asked not being about to hid his small smile.

"Of course, where have you been?" she asked him worried while grabbing the sides of his face to scan over him:

"Vietnam" he said making her blink at him.

"What?" she asked confused .

"I missed you Lavy" he said making her smile sadly before the two wrapped there arms around each other for the first time and didn't let go for what seemed like forever. The two found to much comfort in the other as Klaus knew Lavender would understand and keep him going for the sake of her just being her and Lavender knew Klaus would keep her afloat from the fear she held from the people in mask coming after her and about her life before in the horrible thing called the apocalypse.

"Dave sounds like a great friend, I can't believe you were soldiering" Lavender said as she sat with Klaus on his bed.

"He was, he said he wanted to meet you" Klaus said sadly as Lavender reached for his hand.

"How did he know about me?" she asked him:

"You where the first thing I talked about to him" Klaus said. Lavender opened her mouth to say something but a knock on the door caught both there attentions.

"You okay?" Five asked walking i'm eyeing his brother:

"Yeah just long night" Klaus answered.

"More than one by the looks of it. Don't remember the dog tags" Five nodded toward the ones around Klaus's neck.

"They belong to a friend" Klaus simple said fixing them around his neck.

"How bout that new tattoo?" Five asked motioning toward the one on Klaus's shoulder.

"Five... lay off" Lavender tried but he simply ignored her.

"You know I don't totally remember even getting it. Like I said it was a long night" Klaus said with a small laugh which gave Lavender hope.

"You did it didn't you?" Five asked with a smirk. Lavender rolled her eyes not in the mood for him right now.

"What are you talking about?" Klaus asked him not fully paying attention.

"You know I can recognize the symptoms Klaus" Five said as Lavender now stood up with anger plastered on her face.

"Symptoms of what?" Klaus asked him.

"The Jet Lag, full body itch, the headache that feels like someone shoved a box of cotton up your nose and through your brain. Lavender over here really is covering for you" Five said as Lavender glared.

"Five right now isn't the time so why don't you be a good little boy and go play with your glass eye" Lavender offered only getting a smirk from Five.

"You gonna tell me about it?" Five asked now looking at Klaus.

"Your pals when they broke into the house. When they couldn't capture Lavender and couldn't find you they took me hostage instead" Klaus said as Lavender looked away feeling guilty.

"So in return you stole their brief case?" Five asked with a laugh.

"I'm warning you" Lavender said toward him.

"Yeah, I though there was money inside or I could pone it whatever. Then I opened it..." Klaus trailed off.

"And next thing you know you where where? Or should I say when?" Five asked.

"I think you should say shut the hell up" Lavender glared over at him.

"What difference does it make?" Klaus asked annoyed .

"What difference does it- okay how long where you gone?" Five asked .

"Almost a year" Klaus said now as Lavender turned around to look at him in shock. Her and Five shared a look and Lavender shook her head with a sigh.

"Do you know what this means?" Five asked him.

"Yeah i'm ten months older now" Klaus jokes as Lavender once again shook her head.

"No this isn't some sort of joke Klaus. Hazel and Cha Cha will do whatever they can to get the briefcase. Where it now?" Five asked.

"Gone. I destroyed it poof" Klaus said.

"Proud of you" Lavender said with a nod getting a side smile from Klaus in return .

"What the hell where you thinking?" Five asked him annoyed.

"What do you care?" Klaus asked him annoyed as well.

"What do I care? I needed it your moron, so I could get back, I could start over. Cmon Lavender isn't that what you want too?" Five asked now slightly yelled as he pointed at her.

"No, no not anymore. I'd rather stay here, i'm happier" she said as he shook his head.

"Interigations over just leave" Klaus said as he stood up grabbing Lavenders hand.

"Come with me please" he said and before she could give a answer he was pulling her along side of him.

"What happened here?" Klaus asked as him and Lavender hand in hand stood infront of the broken chandelier. Before she could say anything Diego appeared.

"You look like shit" he said to Klaus.

"Oh thank you, hey where are you going?" Klaus asked his brother.

"Nope" Diego simple said as Klaus frowned.

"What?" he asked him confused .

"I'm not giving you a ride" Diego shook his head toward him.

"Cmon man you know I can't drive" Klaus said.

"I don't-" Diego began but Klaus cut him off.

"Great i'll get my things" he nodded as Diego sighed. As Lavender and Klaus made it toward Klaus's room she sighed.

"Do you want me to come with you?" she asked him worried.

"No no, you shouldn't have to be involved with this. Stay here, you look tired" he said while grabbing some of his stuff.

"Klaus, if you want to go with you I will" she said as he turned toward her now and brushed some hair off her shoulders .

"No no Diego's right I look bad. I need to pull myself together and you shouldn't have to see it happen" Klaus said as Lavender sighed and took a step toward him.

"If anything happens come straight back here. I'm gonna wait for you in here, maybe i'll be asleep but i'll still be waiting" she nodded her head as he chuckled and nodded his head.

"I'll be back" he said and pressed a kiss to her forehead making Lavender grin slightly before he left to room and walked away. Lavender took this as her chance to look around the room some. He noticed the lights around his bed frame and the mess it was. She only imagined he was quiet the messy teen. With a sigh she feel onto Klaus's bed and fluffed his pillow before not being able to help herself... she feel over onto it and nearly feel asleep as quick as her eyes closed.
