๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ง๐ - do you remember celine?
Regan Hale drove silently on the road, the only sounds being the constant hum of the engine and the occasional muffled sniffle from me. The air in the car was heavy with the weight of the events that had transpired earlier that day. I sat in the passenger seat, lost in thought, my gaze fixed on the passing landscape outside the window.
Regan breaks the silence in the car, turning to look at me. She says,"Everyone misses you." It's a simple statement, but it carries a weight that I couldn't ignore As i continued to look out the window, lost in my own thoughts.
"Everyone?" I sniffed up my nose.
"Rick and Rina."
Celine turns to Regan with a look of confusion on her face.
Regan chuckle before speaking, "Do you remember? You used to come over my house when you were younger and played with Rick in the backyard a lot."
The boy who used to put worms in my hair?
Oh yea, doesn't ring a bell.
"I remember," I said
"But Wait didn't you have three ki-
"No." She interrupted chuckling.
Regan smiles as she continues to drive, "And Rina is sixteen now, she used to be a little baby." She chuckled
"I can't wait until you see them." She smiles
"They have grown a lot-
Regan accidentally stops too fast and ends up causing a honk from the other car. This sudden incident causes Celine to experience a panic attack.
Regan breathes heavily and looks over at Celine who is panicking, "Celine I'm sorry." She touched her shoulder
Celine hesitated to respond as she's still processing the almost crash.
"Celine." Regan called again
"I'm so sorry-
"It's okay, it's okay." Celine breathes heavily.
I'm fine.

The car pulls up to the driveway of the beautiful house, with a well-manicured lawn and a small garden. The house appears to be two stories tall with a welcoming front porch, and a few windows that are already lit up with a warm glow. Next to the steps leading to the porch, there is a small welcome mat with a friendly message: "Welcome."
"We're here." Regan says waking Celine up from her nap.
Celine rubs her eyes yawning as she stares out in the window, admiring the view right in front of her.
"This is all you!?" Celine says shocked
"Yes, we moved." She smiles
Regan got out of her side of the car running over to Celine's to open hers. "Why, thank you." Celine softly smiles making her way out.
"I have two guest bedroom's so you can pick out of them and whichever one you choose we could go get some supplies at Home Depot or target to decorate." She says
"Thank you, for everything."
"Anytime Celine."
As they step inside the house, Regan opens the door for Celine, allowing her to enter first. She leads her into the open-concept living area and dining area, which immediately catches Celine's eye with its spacious and well-decorated design.
As Celine takes in the sights and smells of the house, she breathes in deeply, her nose filled with the pleasant fragrance that greets her. The scent of a light and fresh perfume is in the air, as if someone has just finished cleaning.
Regan closes the door behind them locking it, "Rick! Rina!" She called.
It wasn't long before Celine heard the sound of footsteps coming from upstairs, running down in a hurry.
Celine saw a girl with a short but sturdy frame. Her hair was dark brown with a touch of a curl at the ends. Her eyes were a bright brown, the kind that seemed to shine even in the dimmest of lights. She had a few freckles across her nose and cheeks, and a big smile that illuminated her entire face.
"Rina this is Celine you guys met when you were a baby, you most likely don't remember." Regan says
Rina waves friendly with a sweet smile.
"Hi." She says in a soft tone.
Celine smiles back waving.
"Rina where is your brother."
"He's most likely upstairs playing the stupid game." Rina chuckled
Regan scoffed as she made her way to the kitchen. "Well I guess I'll be making dinner tonight, You can meet him once you go upstairs." Regan says
"Alright."
"Celine," Regan calls
"Yes?"
"Feel at home." She smiles softly
I nodded my head reassuring her a thank you, as I turned around Rina was in front of me with her phone in her hands.
"So what do you listen to?" she looked up at me.
"Why did you assumed I listened to music?" I awkwardly smiled
"Because who doesn't listen to music." She says chuckling
"Now tell me." She continues
I exchanged my phone watching her scroll down my playlist.
"Are you a swiftie?" She randomly asks
"No why?"
"Oh because you have Cardigan by Taylor swift in your playlist. "
I shrugged my shoulders, "I just listen to whatever I like, I just like the song and the instrumental, that's all."
"Mhmm,"
"Wait! You also listen to Paramore decode!" She says excitedly
Celine carefully took back her phone from Rina and deleted the song from the playlist.
Rina, standing off to the side, watched Celine delete the song off her phone. She was clearly taken aback by the sudden action, and her confusion was evident in her response. She drew out the word "Okayyy" with a slightly puzzled tone, indicating that she may not understand why Celine had taken such a drastic measure.
"Are you okay?" She questions Celine.
There was a brief pause before Celine responded, "I'm fine." Though her voice carried a hint of uncertainty, she appeared to be determined to keep her emotions in check.
"Hey, I know what happened and I'm sorry for your loss." Rina says nicely
Celine sighed before tugging a soft smile on her lips, "Thank you, I'm just going to go upstairs to my room and lay down if that's okay."
"Of course." Rina replied

This time, Celine took an extra long look around the room, her new space. The walls were painted a soothing white, and various pieces of furniture filled the room. There was a comfortable bed, a small desk, and a couple of armchairs tucked away in one corner. It was a simple space but also a cozy one. Even with the recent changes in her life, she couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and peace inside this new room. She realized that while things felt a little different now, they could always get better with time.
But she'll still miss her mother dearly.
As she finished exploring the room, Celine got up from the bed and ventured out into the hallway. The house seemed quiet now, with only the sound of soft music and shooting sounds coming from a nearby room. She took a moment to appreciate the tranquil atmosphere before making her way down the hall.
Celine hears a male voice coming from down the hall, the door slightly ajar. She can make out phrases like "revive me" and "heal me." The voice sounds urgent and intense, as if in the middle of something serious.
As Celine opened the door, she saw a handsome boy sitting in a gaming chair wearing a headset and a gaming controller in hand. His eyes were wide with a mixture of shock and confusion. His jet black hair was styled and fell in natural waves around his face, framing his chiseled features. The two arm sleeves tattoos on his arms added to his alluring appearance. As she stood there, she could see the features of his face better: high cheekbones, sharp nose, and full lips that were currently pressed into a stern expression.
As he sets down the controller, he lifts the mic to his mouth and addresses his friends. "I'll be right back," he says into the mic.
He turn to me and says...
"Who the fuck are you?" His tone gruff.
