They say the passage of time will heal all wounds, but the greater the loss, the deeper the cut, and the more difficult the process to become whole again. The pain may fade, but scars serve as a reminder of our suffering, and make the bearer all the more resolved never to be wounded again. So, as time moves along, we get lost in distractions. Act out in frustrations with aggression, give in to anger. And, all the while we plot and plan as we wait to grow stronger, and before we know it, the time passes. We are healed. Ready to begin anew.
ย ย ย JORDANNA'S BIRTHDAY HAD consisted of 3 things.
ย ย ย Sex, a shit ton of gifts and more sex.
ย ย ย So really two things, but who was counting?
ย ย ย And the month following after her birthday had, also, consisted in, well, sex . . .
ย ย ย A breathy moan escaped her mouth as Klaus pulled away from her, a cheeky smirk sat on his plump lips as she huffed, brushing her hair from her face. The original picked up his shirt before he began to button it up, leaving the top few buttons undone, revealing his bare chest.
ย ย ย Jordanna's arm reached out to the floor, picking up the discarded oversized shirt, she slipped it back onto her body before her back collided with the couch againโchest heaving up and down.
ย ย ย Like I said, sex.
ย ย ย Jordanna pulled out her phone, messaging Caroline as Klaus continued painting, a method of control, that's what he called itโso what the hell was he up to?
ย ย ย Jordanna's eyes lifted from the screen in front of her upon hearing footsteps entering the roomโher eyes followed Elijah as he sauntered his way into the bedroom.
ย ย ย "Niklaus, it has been a month. Now, I feel our sister's loss as deeply as you. But, you must stop distracting yourself with this ridiculous behaviour and channel it into some kind of action."
ย ย ย Jordanna scowled, looking up at the original in mild offence. "Ouch, Elijah."
ย ย ย "Why must I exactly?" Klaus spoke up, not looking away from the easel.
ย ย ย "Because over the course of Marcel's tenure, the city grew accustomed to having a king, you wanted this throne. Now, you must accept the responsibility that accompanies it," Elijah continued, looking down at Jordanna for help, the witch merely shrugged before continuing to text Caroline.
ย ย ย "Apologies, but I'm rather ensconced in other pursuits," Klaus told him, glancing back with a sarcastic smile before his eyes fell to his painting again.
ย ย ย ย Elijah's tongue poked his cheek in annoyance, moving forward he snatched the paintbrush out of his brother's hand and set it down. "If you can so easily neglect your home, I wonder what will become of your child."
ย ย ย "Uhโlet's not, Elijah," Jordanna shot him a pointed look for bringing the baby up.
ย ย ย "Have you forgotten what it was like to live beneath the threat of violence? We must work together, Niklaus. Let's make this city whole again," Elijah tried again, looking toward his younger brother at a plead.
ย ย ย Jordanna placed her phone down on the couch as she looked over at the Mikaelson inquisitively, maybe he had a point. She didn't want the baby growing up in a literal war zone, it wouldn't exactly be the best childhood memories to look back at.
ย ย ย "Perhaps it's too broken to mend," Klaus shot back, picking his paintbrush back up, sparing a small glance at his brother.
ย ย ย "If you won't do anything, I will," Elijah sighed in defeat, pressing a short kiss to Jordanna's cheek on his way out, missing the narrowed eyes on his back.
ย ย ย Jordanna shrugged as Klaus looked toward her in question, what a sweetheart. In the past month whilst Klaus had been moping around Jordanna had been keeping herself busyโseeing Davina, secret phone calls with Rebekah, visiting Hayley down in the Bayou (which she vowed to never do again), shopping with Naomi, visiting Whitmore college on Caroline's birthdayโtaking the blonde, Bonnie and Stefan out for drinks, which sadly she couldn't participate in, and she forced Elijah to be her personal assistant.
ย ย ย It was fun to say the least, at first The Original despised it, then again, anyone would. I mean, who would want to be dragged around shop after shop, holding a dress to their body for an hour whilst she decided whether she liked it or not, she didn't.
ใปโฅใป
ย ย ย Jordanna made her way through the Coven house, the tall plants enveloping her as she sauntered down the small path way, her hands reached out in front of her face, batting them away with a grimace. All this just to see Davina, she better be grateful, Jordanna hated natureโit was kind of ironic, seeing as witches were connected to the earth.
ย ย ย As the Jones witch grew closer she began to hear the voices of the Harvest girls, Monique and Abigale, her ears peaked as she heard Davina's irritated voice speak up.
ย ย ย "I am trying."
ย ย ย "Trying and failing. Ever since you came back," Monique retorted, a snarky tone to her voice that made the older witch want to throw her through a glass wall, or multiple.
ย ย ย "Watch your mouth, you little bitch," Jordanna snapped, pushing away a large plant that got in her way, glare set on Monique. "Davina is a better witch than any of you, besides if she needed help, which she doesn't, she has me."
ย ย ย "Jords!" Davina scolded, shooting her a wary look for speaking to them like that, especially Monique.
ย ย ย "Yeah, yeah, whatever," Jordanna brushed it off as she pulled the younger witch in for a hug, she glared at the two Harvest girls over her shoulder. "Now if you don't mind, I'm stealing Davina."
ย ย ย "Uh, you can't we need to-"
ย ย ย "Bye, now," Jordanna grabbed Davina's hand and dragged her out of the Coven House, ignoring Monique's protests. "Wanna go shopping?" Jordanna asked, looking down at the witch.
ใปโฅใป
ย ย ย After Jordanna had dropped Davina back off she made her way into the Compound, a groan emitted itself from her lips upon seeing her favourite person, the one and only Genevieve.
ย ย ย As Jordanna made her way up to hers and Klaus' room, shopping bags in hand, Genevieve was also heading in that direction.
ย ย ย Great.
ย ย ย The two witches had already been acquainted, one night Klaus had taken Jordanna out for food and the lovely Genevieve decided to introduce herself whilst the witch was eating her fucking lunch.
ย ย ย Who the fuck interrupts someone whilst they're eating?
ย ย ย Jordanna didn't miss the lustful glances the older witch would spare her boyfriend as she introduced herself. Jordanna found it more humorous than annoying, seeing as whenever the red-head would try to talk to Klaus, he would be too occupied staring at Jordannaโwhich always brought a smug smile to her face.
ย ย ย "Jordanna," Genevieve greeted with a tight smile as they came to a stop outside the door.
ย ย ย "Gwyneth," Jordanna smile pettily. Just because she didn't care about Genevieve's pining for The Original, did not mean she liked her, not even a little bit.
ย ย ย "Genevieve," the red-head corrected, her lips forming in a line.
ย ย ย "My bad," Jordanna tutted, sending her the fakest grin she could muster up.
ย ย ย "All is forgiven," the witch gave her a condescending smile. "After you," Genevieve sucked on her teeth in irritation, her head gestured towards the closed door of Jordanna and Klaus' room.
ย ย ย "Right," Jordanna tilted her head, looking the older woman up and down. "After me."
ย ย ย Jordanna pulled the door open, letting it shut on the older witch's face as she sauntered into the room, an annoyed Genevieve followed after her. Jordanna placed all her shopping bags down onto the couch and made a bee-line for Klaus, The Original turned, pressing a kiss to her lipsโnot seeming to notice the red-head lingering in the doorway with a scowl on her face.
ย ย ย Jordanna smiled, pulling away from the Mikaelson, she turned to Genevieve with an innocent grin as she began to sort out her clothes. The redhead rolled her eyes, and made her way over to Klaus as she began talking to him about the meeting Elijah just heldโand how the Crescent curse was broken.
ย ย ย Jordanna didn't understand why Klaus needed to know any of this, she just guessed that Genevieve wanted any excuse she could get to talk to him.
ย ย ย After ten minutes or so of having to listen to Genevieve jabber on and on whilst Klaus ignored her and continued his painting, Jordanna ushered her out, not without taking the chance of annoying her further and insinuating that she and Klaus were going to be extremely busy in her absence.
ย ย ย Jordanna spun around on her feet as she placed her hands on her hipsโnarrowing her eyes at the hybrid.
ย ย ย "Nik, if that little bitch steps one more fucking foot in this house I will lock her in it and burn it to fucking smithereens," Jordanna warned as she made her way over to him, sending him a pointed look.
ย ย ย It wasn't the first time Genevieve had welcomed herself into the Compound, oh no. Jordanna would always be scarred from the red-head's first time barding into Klaus' room, let's just say, Jordanna and Klaus were extremely occupied when Genevieve sauntered in before a shocked gasp left her mouth at the sight before her (she may have even screamed).
ย ย ย "Believe me, I tried. All I got was the reminder that witches, sadly enough, can't be compelled," Klaus rolled his eyes with a sigh. He had tried more than once to compel Genevieve to leave, but fate seemed to not be on his side.
ย ย ย Jordanna huffed in annoyance and took a seat down on the couch as Klaus continued painting, when a click of heels sounded into the room.
ย ย ย "I saw the light from the courtyard and took a chance," Cami announced as she caught sight of the two, hesitantly smiling down at Jordanna.
ย ย ย "Hello Cami, come on in why don't you?" Jordanna smiled sarcastically as she flicked through a magazine, not lifting her eyes up to the blonde.
ย ย ย "Do you need something Camille?" Klaus questioned at a clip, an irritated tone laced in his voice.
ย ย ย "From you? No," Cami told him, turning to the raven-haired witch sat on the couch, "I came to see you actually."
ย ย ย Jordanna rose a brow in slight surprise, "How can I help you, blondie?"
ย ย ย "I'm here about my uncle. He's deteriorating. The pills, the meditation, they're not working," Cami told Jordanna with a deflated sigh. "His lucidity's shrinking by the day. A witch did this, I was hoping maybe you could undo it."
ย ย ย Jordanna sighed, brushing her hair from her face as she, for once in her life, looked at Cami with genuine sincerity, "I'm sorry, but I've already tried, it'll only be worse. By now, the hex would've taken root and altered the brain. There's nothing I can do anymore."
ย ย ย "I refuse to accept that, and you would, too, if you had any concept of family," Cami snapped before spinning on her heels and making her exit, missing that quick sarcastic thumbs up Jordanna shot at her retreating figure.
ใปโฅใป
ย ย ย Klaus had somehow managed to convince Elijah to throw a party, he told him it'd be better for the peace treatyโbut Jordanna found it weird since, well, Klaus didn't actually give a damn about the wolves, and the whole point of the party was to get the wolves involved.
ย ย ย She had questioned him relentlessly when she was cutting his hair for him, he sat between her legsโher on the edge of the bed whilst she sorted his hair, and anytime he gave her a somewhat vague answer she yanked on his blonde curls like there was no tomorrow.
ย ย ย By the end of the night Klaus was surprised to find that he did, in fact, still have hair. Jordanna, as per, was late to a party that was held in the place she livedโNaomi, who had arrived before her, had made a bet with the hybrid saying that she'd blame it on being 'fashionably late'.
ย ย ย And she was right, of course, Jordanna had blamed it on being 'fashionably late', and now The Original owed the Tate vampire a lot of money.
ย ย ย Jordanna was yet to see Klaus, she and Naomi were strolling around the compound, arm in arm. The vampire nursed a glass of champagne as Jordanna boredly toyed with her hair.
ย ย ย Naomi nudged Jordanna gently, gesturing to Genevieve and the Harvest girls, she shot the redhead a look of distaste in passing. "That's Guinevere?"
ย ย ย ย "Genevieve," Jordanna snickered under her breath.
ย ย ย "Whatever, I say we rip her head off," Naomi grinned, sipping on her champagne.
ย ย ย "Over a man?" Jordanna arched a brow, a small scoff left her lips. "I'd rather lock myself in a room with my father for a day."
ย ย ย Naomi's eyes widen, "Jesus, okay."
ย ย ย The pair came to a stop besides a small, round table, clad in a white cloth with a candle sat in the middle. They placed their drinks down, Jordanna rested her elbows on the table, chin in hand as the pairs eyes scanned people as they passed by.
ย ย ย Her eyes finally found atop the balcony, where Klaus was stood, both hands gripping onto the rail as he stared down at her in his black suit. Her sullen mood had uplifted, she was practically beaming when she saw him.
ย ย ย She flashed him a quick, toothy grin, "Hi," she mouthed.
ย ย ย Klaus chuckled softly, looking to the ground before his eyes met hers once again, "Hello love," he mouthed back, matching her wide smile.
ย ย ย Klaus pushed himself up from the balcony, about to make his way over to the witch when a short, stubby, little man, from the human faction made his way over and started talking to KlausโThe Original spared Jordanna an apologetic look as he looked down at her, the witch sending him a small smile.
ย ย ย By now, Naomi had had quite a fair amount to drink, and Jordanna was as sober as she had ever been in her life, which was quite sad, really.
ย ย ย And with the large alcohol influence flowing through her blood it brought out that part of Naomi that Jordanna adored ever so much, the part that had reminded her of Caroline before she turnedโthe bitchy, judgey part. Which brought the two to where they were now, whispering amongst themselves as they judged everyone who passed them.
ย ย ย "She's dressed like a politician's wife, with the hair, and the shoes. Soo random," Jordanna mumbled to the Tate woman as she sipped on her drink, their eyes followed the woman as she passed their table.ย
ย ย ย Naomi narrowed her eyes, "I'm pretty sure her husband is a politician."
ย ย ย Jordanna sucked on her teeth, nodding slightly, "Right. Well, she plays the part well then, I guess."
ย ย ย "Ooh!" Naomi whistled as the werewolf clan passed their table. "Is that Miss Hayley Marshall herself?" A teasing tone was held in her voice, causing the brunette's head to spin.
ย ย ย Hayley grinned, placing her hand on Jackson's shoulderโwhispering something to him before making her way over to the pair. Naomi leant forward, a teasing glint in her eyes as she pressed a kiss to her cheek, Hayley's cheeks heated as she shook her head at the vampire.
ย ย ย There was nothing Naomi loved to do more than make Hayley all hot and bothered.
ย ย ย "You look good Hales," Jordanna winked, eyes skimming up and down the navy dress before her mouth opened, head tilted. "Wow, pretty dress," the witch mused, raising her eyebrows. "Back in my closet by midnight, Cinderella."
ย ย ย Hayley smiled sheepishly, "I know, don't worry. I was kinda hoping you wasn't going to notice."
ย ย ย "I know a Christian Dior dress when I see one, Hales, especially one of mine," Jordanna told her, a knowing smile on her lips.
ย ย ย As Naomi and Hayley chatted, Jordanna excused herself. She began making her way over to the bar so she could get a drink that actually had no alcohol in it, seeing as every single tray the waiters and waitresses held consisted of champagne.
ย ย ย The witch glanced to her right, feeling a presence land itself next to her, her eyes found Diego who was glaring at someone before he angrily chugged his drink.
ย ย ย Jordanna followed his eyeline and found Oliver, one of the werewolves, who was also the reason Rebekah had been kidnapped, staring at Davina. Fuck no. Jordanna made her way over to the long-haired blond werewolf as he smiled at the sixteen year old girl.
ย ย ย "Hey Fabio," Jordanna snapped, earning the blond's attention, Davina's eyes widened as she looked away. Shit! "Look at her again and I'll break that ugly nose of yours, got it?"
ย ย ย Before the blond could retort something the Jones had stormed off, in the direction of Davina. "He's like 50, D," Jordanna gave her a look. Oliver literally looked like a shrivelling cowboy. Seriously, Davina? He should know better than to be looking at her like that, what the actual fuck?
ย ย ย "No he's not," Davina scoffed, looking away.
ย ย ย "Fine, he's, like, in his 30's and you're like 2," Jordanna held up two fingers with a face, as if that would get the point across.
ย ย ย "Nearly 17," Davina defended.
ย ย ย "So 16," Jordanna deadpanned.
ย ย ย Davina opened her mouth only to close it again, she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest as she leant against the wall. "Are you gonna stand and watch me all night?"
ย ย ย "Fuck no," Jordanna scoffed. "I'm not your mom, Davina, I have better things to do." The Jones patted the younger girl on the shoulder patronizingly with a wide smile. "Now, shoo. Go get some Tequila down you, be a teenager."
ย ย ย And she was off again.
ย ย ย Naomi had found the witch stood by a table, boredly twirling a cocktail umbrella between her fingers as her other hand played with the flames of the candle.
ย ย ย "I spy with my little eye a desperate red-head," Naomi whispered in Jordanna's ear, lifting her chin up to the balcony.
ย ย ย Jordanna followed her eyeline and pulled a face, "First of all ew," she deadpanned, dropping the small umbrella back into her glass, "Second of all ew."
ย ย ย Their eyes followed to the top of the balcony, where Klaus was previously stood, a bored expression etched onto his face as he looked down at the crowd, eyes finding Jordanna he shot her a 'help me' look as Genevieve placed her hand on his arm, moving it up and down in what she must of thought to be a seductive mannerโthough to Jordanna it looked more like she was stroking an animal or something.
ย ย ย "Dear God," Naomi mumbled under her breath, chugging her drink.
ย ย ย "I'll be back," Jordanna whispered to the older woman, before her eyes found Klaus' once again, she sent him a playful grin before disappearing off into the crowd.
ย ย ย Jordanna's lips curved as her hand trailed along the railing of the stairs, she sent polite smiles to those in passing, who would, naturally, make comments on how she looked beautiful this evening.
ย ย ย Duh!
ย ย ย Her floor length dress dragged behind her as she made her way up the stairs, her boobs almost spilling from the dress as of result of the pregnancyโher hair draping down her back.
ย ย ย Klaus' eyes found hers as she made her way over, not sparing Genevieve a glance who had her back to herโnot having noticed the younger witch yet.
ย ย ย He felt as though it took her forever to finally reach him, and when she did she didn't give him the chance to greet her as her lips were already on his.
ย ย ย Her hands gripped onto his suit jacket, pulling him closer to her, his hands slid down her hips as their lips moulded together. His tongue parted her lips and one of her hands slid up from the grip of the jacket and to the back of his neckโtangling themselves in his hair. Klaus' grip on her tightened as he pulled her closerโwell as close as the bump would let her get, until a loud, obnoxious clear of the throat sounded through their ears.
ย ย ย "Oh! I'm so sorry Gwyneth... you were saying?" Jordanna feigned a gasp, holding a hand to her chest as she smiled falsely at the witch.
ย ย ย The redhead scoffed in disbelief, and shook her head as her eyes narrowed down at the Jones witchโthe raven-haired girl only smiled smugly at the irritated face Genevieve held.
ย ย ย Klaus chuckled softly, covering it by wiping a hand across his jaw as Genevieve shot him a glare, his hand reached down to Jordanna's. "Excuse us," he muttered as his eyes caught sight of Jackson walking into Klaus and Jordanna's room.
ย ย ย "Ta, ta," Jordanna wiggled her fingers at the older witch as she turned back to face her, Genevieve crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at the younger witch.ย
ย ย ย Klaus had dragged Jordanna around the Compound, politely smiling at people in passing as they made their way up to their room.
ย ย ย "I'm so glad you accepted my invitation," Klaus announced as Jackson stood in front of his painting, just about to touch it before Klaus' voice rang through his ears, startling him.
ย ย ย Jackson turned around, nodding curtly at Jordanna before his gaze fell back onto Klaus, "So, is this where the great Klaus Mikaelson says something poignant, and snaps my neck?" Jackson shot back.
ย ย ย "I'm not here to kill you," Klaus rolled his eyes, almost playfully. "I'm here to offer you a gift."
ย ย ย Jackson scoffed, "Out of the kindness of your vampire heart?"
ย ย ย Jordanna pulled a face as she took a seat on the couch, "Was there, like, any need to mention that he's a vampire?" She cringed. "Jesus."
ย ย ย "Our hearts are more similar than you might realise. You see, long before I evolved, mine beat as a werewolf. I know your power, I know your burden. I'm here to take the latter away," Klaus told him, a weird sincerity to his voice that made Jordanna furrow her brows.
ย ย ย What the fuck was he up to now?
ย ย ย "You want to make me a hybrid? I put my pack first," Jackson snapped. "And I'm not gonna let anything compromise my family line, especially becoming some bloodthirsty vampire parasite."
ย ย ย "Parasite?" Jordanna scoffed. "Watch your mouth, Jacky, Hayley's a hybrid as well. I don't suppose she'll like how you're speaking of her kind."
ย ย ย Klaus merely only seemed amused at the situation, "That pride, that sense of loyalty? Well, that's exactly why I haven't snapped your neck yet."
ย ย ย "Well, if you're not gonna kill me, then what the Hell do you want?"
ย ย ย "A threesome," Jordanna spoke dryly, rolling her eyes. Jackson and Klaus' heads snapped in her direction, unimpressed looks on their faces. "Kidding."
ย ย ย Klaus cleared his throat, looking away from the, clearly deranged, witch. "Only to give you back the city that was taken from you. How is that for poignant?"
ย ย ย "Why would I trust someone who's conspiring behind his own brother's back?" Jackson frowned.
ย ย ย "I'm not trying to undermine Elijah's venture. I'm supporting his vision. Vampires destroy lives to survive, witches are only as powerful as their dead, but the werewolves have thrived because their strength comes from family unity. The safety of that unity is what I want for my unborn child, the painful truth is, vampires are the antithesis of unity."
ย ย ย ย Jordanna frowned as she listened to him, she hadn't got a clue as to why he was kissing the werewolves asses, nor did she have a clue as to what he was up to but it kept her entertained so she simply went along with it.
ย ย ย "So, what?" Jackson scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief. "After a thousand years, you're finally ready to embrace the other half of your family tree? Maybe the other half doesn't want you."
ย ย ย "Pity," Jordanna pouted sarcastically.
ย ย ย Klaus waved her off after earning a look from Jackson, he grinned, rolling his eyes, brushing off her 'playful antics' as he muttered under his breath to Jackson.
ย ย ย "Oh, they will, once they return to the Quarter," Klaus pushed passed the Kenner werewolf, making his way over to his desk where he pulled open a wooden box.
ย ย ย "You got a plan to back that up?" Jackson inquired, suddenly becoming interested in what Klaus had to say.
ย ย ย Klaus pulled out the ring that Elijah and Rebekah had found on the werewolf, Cary. "My mother was a very powerful witch. I watched her craft all manner of magical items, but her most prized possession was this ring. I hadn't seen it for a thousand years, and then it turned up, hanging around the neck of a werewolf, a direct descendant of my biological father. I believe she gave him this ring as a way of freeing him."
ย ย ย "How so?" Jackson asked.
ย ย ย "Daylight rings shield vampires from the sun. So, why not a moonlight ring, to protect werewolves from the curse? Think about it. No more breaking bones, no more losing control to the beast within."
ย ย ย Suddenly convinced, Jackson stepped forward, "What do I have to do?"
ย ย ย "Well ... that was easy."
ใปโฅใป
ย ย ย A little while later Jordanna was stood by a table with Naomi, Diego and Francesca Guerrera when Oliver walked passed the four, heading for the bar.
ย ย ย "Hey, wolf boy!" Diego shouted after him, a smug smile on his face. "Should have had them put it in a bowl for you."
ย ย ย Oliver smiled manically. "Well, yeah, if you want me to crush your skull with it."
ย ย ย Francesca smiled toward Jordanna as she rounded the table, coming between the two, "Please, boys. At least fight over something interesting. Me, perhaps?" A smirk laced the woman's lips eliciting in a snort from Jordanna.
ย ย ย As funny and entertaining Jordanna found Francesca, she was dodgy, like,ย extremely suspicious.
ย ย ย "Nah, you don't want to get involved with his kind," Diego turned to her, shaking his head. "See, they got this nasty little habit of going berserk and ripping innocent people to shreds."
ย ย ย ย Jordanna rolled her lips into her mouth, almost sounded like Stefan.
ย ย ย "No, no, no. Okay? Look. If my people wronged you in any way, you have my condolences, okay?" Oliver told him, Jordanna tilted her head with pursed lips as she watched him suspiciously. "Though, I'd be surprised my kind could choke them down, being half as ugly as him." He muttered under his breath.
ย ย ย Diego shook his head in anger, and in one quick motion he picked the blond werewolf up and threw him across the Courtyard.
ย ย ย "Well, well, well," Jordanna tutted from where she, Naomi and Francesca stood watching.ย
ย ย ย A loud shatter echoed through the Compound as Oliver's body connected with a tableโwhich was filled with champagne glasses. Naomi and Francesca clinked their own glasses in some sort of appreciation toward the form of entertainment as Diego vamp-sped over to him, but the werewolf rose to his feet quickly and shoved him back, pinning the vampire against the wall.
ย ย ย All of a sudden Elijah appeared, pulling the blond off of Diego and pushing him face down onto a table. "This ends now. I won't ask again," Elijah warned.
ย ย ย "Oh, we'll end it all right," Jackson announced causing everyone's heads to turn his way, finding him holding a stake against Diego's heart.
ย ย ย "What's stopping you?" Hayley announced as she made her way down the staircase. "Kill him. Go ahead, Elijah. Do it. I mean, it's not like he doesn't deserve to die."
ย ย ย Klaus came to a stop besides Jordanna, wrapping an arm around her shoulder as he, too, watched on. Francesca turned her head in his direction, "Shouldn't you intervene or something?"
ย ย ย "Why would I?" Klaus huffed, a smirk pulling at his lips. "This party just got interesting."
ย ย ย "I mean, it was Oliver who handed Rebekah over to the witches so they could torture her. But, then again, wasn't it Diego who led a werewolf massacre last month?" Hayley pondered as she stepped further into the courtyard. "And the witches cursed the wolves, while the humans stood back and let it all happen. So, when you think about it, everyone here deserves to die."
ย ย ย Elijah clenched his jaw, "Are you approaching a point?"
ย ย ย "My point, Elijah, is thisโif we can't get along, if our families can't create some sort of community, then what's the point? Kill each over and get it over with," Hayley shrugged.
ย ย ย Elijah took a moment as he thought, eventually he let go of the blond as Jackson, hesitantly, let go of Diego.
ย ย ย "I can't get over how hot she looks," Naomi muttered to Jordanna, eyes on Hayley as she crossed her arms over her chest.
ย ย ย "She always looks hot," Jordanna hummed in agreement. "She could be half dead and still look good."
ใปโฅใป
ย ย ย "Sign it," Elijah demanded as he made his way into Klaus and Jordanna's room, bringing the treaty and inkwell with him.
ย ย ย "Why?" Klaus didn't look away from his painting as his brother placed the treaty and inkwell down onto the table besides where Jordanna was sat. "You've already done so on our behalf."
ย ย ย "Brother, I am not a fool. It's clear to me you're not as disinterested as you'd like me to believe. Sign please. If there is no peace between us, then how can you expect others to follow suit?"
ย ย ย "Fine," Klaus huffed, taking the pen in his hand. "But, I assure you, this city's inhabitants will not adhere to this agreement," he told his brother as he signed, he placed the pen back down onto the table.
ย ย ย "Sign please," Elijah turned to Jordanna with a hopeful smile on his lips.
ย ย ย "I don't wanna join your super secret boyband," Jordanna told him with a small eyeroll.
ย ย ย Elijah tilted his head, "Jordanna."
ย ย ย "What difference does it make? Just count me in as one of the witches, okay?"
ย ย ย "Thank you," he breathed out before turning back to his brother. "You are welcome to wager against me. You will lose."
ย ย ย "We'll see," Klaus mumbled under his breath after Elijah left the room, eyes on his painting.
ใปโฅใป
ย ย ย It was a little while later, Klaus was in the shower, all the guests had left the Compound, leaving the remaining few in peace and quiet . . .ย
ย ย ย For a while, anyway.ย
ย ย ย Jordanna was sat at one of the abandoned tables, eating some of the left-overs as she mumbled down to the babyโthanking it for not having any weird cravings before she went on to tell it stories of her life (excluding the parts where she was a murderous bitch, of course.)
ย ย ย The blaring sound of her phone cut off her small story-timeโthe witch picked it up with a smile upon seeing the name on the screen.ย
ย ย ย Stef.
ย ย ย "Hey, gorgeous," she teased, earning a deep, staggered sigh from the Salvatore vampire, the witch frowned as she heard Caroline's sniffles in the background. "Stefan? What's up?"
ย ย ย Stefan sighed deeply, hesitantly speaking up, "Bonnie's dead."
