chapter twenty three

LIFE WORK'S IN funny ways. How the universe went about things was a mystery to Jordanna. Why it dictated what happened to those 7.87 billion people in the world, why shitty things happened to good people and good things stumbled their way into the lives of bad people.
She wasn't saying she was a good person, because she wasn't. She knew that. But couldn't the world punish her in some other way? Not only did it effect her, it effected Klaus. It effected the Mikaelson's. Was this karma? Revenge for all of their sins?
Her daughter had died at her cause, through stress, could you believe it? Her high blood pressure was what fucked her life over. She wanted to blame Genevieve and the others, but how? They were dead. Resulting in her blaming the only other person she saw fit.
Herself.
She could've prevented this entire situation if she hadn't of fucking died. Therefore she also blamed her father, her father was the one who convinced the witches to end her life, consequently bringing an end to her magicโwhich she was sure brought him a ton of pleasure.
If she still had her magic she could've brought her back, her little Anastasia. But her father took that away from her, again. Left her defenceless again. Or maybe that was his intention seeing as he wasn't counting on her to spring back to life.
Well to be fair, he just wanted her dead for reasons beyond herself. Insecurities maybe? The fact that her mother passed down her magic and she was inevitably more powerful than him or was it because he was merely a coward who couldn't fight his battles without the help of magic? Or just purely based on the fact that he was a dick.
But nevertheless it'd been a while since Jordanna had to go without her magic, his intentions were to make her defenceless, throw her out to the wolves. Leave her helpless knowing fully well that many people wanted her dead and when he failed at that back then he settled for second best, seeing her dead.
Unfortunately for Howard that backfired too, seeing as she came back a vampire. But at least he had taken her magic, just as he did before.
But he underestimated her, everyone did. Just because she had no magic didn't mean she couldn't get shit done, it didn't mean that she was powerless. It didn't mean that she could no longer protect herself.

(flasback)
Jordanna had naturally assumed she was cursed, or at least the month of her birth was struck down by God, plagued by bad memories. Something bad always seemed to happen to her, whether that be her father showing up, gloating at the fact he had stolen the one thing from her that he thought to be the only reason she lived, though, yet again, he had been wrong.
It had been a few months after Howard had taken her magic.
During those dull, dull months Stefan and his brother Damon had grown comfortable in what was once the quiet, boring town of Mystic Falls.
Things had begun to move in the small town of Virginia, it began to change. The youngest Salvatore brother formed a relationship with Elena Gilbert, whilst Bonnie had discovered her magicโlearning more about the Bennett bloodline and Caroline had been oblivious to it all, (well, as far as Bonnie and Elena were concerned anyway).
The preppy blonde had slowly grown accustomed to Jordanna's murderous antics. Having to be the one who cleaned up after her like the good best friend she was.
Poor little, human Caroline. Cleaning up after a psychotic former witch. The Forbes girl would've guessed that Jordanna's first thought would be to call someone else, someone more known to the cause. But no, she got the lovely disposal job.
They may have taken the term 'hide a dead body for each other' far too literal.
But it was whatever seeing as Bonnie would freak and probably incendia Jordanna's ass 6ft under, Elena wouldn't even be able to comprehend what the fuck was happening and when she wouldโshe'd go full mom mode with all the scolding.
Stefan, well, Jordanna had only just recently released Stefan from being her hostage, so there was a fat chance he'd do anything for her at the moment, and Damon? That was a big no. She didn't want to talk to Damon, why should she put herself through that?
So that narrowed down her search to 3. Stoner boy, Quarterback or Blondie.
Which brought Caroline to where she was; hastily scrubbing Jordanna's hardwood floor clean of blood as the former witch rinsed the crimson covered axe under the tap, a cigarette hung from her lips whilst the pair hummed quietly along to the radio . . .
This situation, as you might like to call it, all started when Jordanna was half asleep on her couch, nursing a bitch of a hangover when an unwanted guest invited himself into her home.
And no, surprisingly enough, it was not her father.
Just one of the many people she managed to piss off in her lifetime.
Safe to say, Jordanna jumped like a bitch when her half-awake self heard an eerie whistle echo through her living room.
The 17 year old hastily pushed her body up, eyes wide as she turned, facing a familiar man.
"For fuck's sake," she muttered under her breath. Don't get me wrong, she was crapping her pants. I mean, she had no magic and had to rely on her combat skills, which weren't exactly squeaky clean seeing as all she spent doing for the past couple of months was drinking and drugs.
"Hello Jordanna," the man grinned, his Scottish accent flowing through her ears like pins, his fingers twirling that damned dagger. How the fuck did he get that?
Upon seeing her gaze on the dagger, the man held the weapon up to his face, "Wondering how I got it?"
"Mildly curious," she hummed, slowly rising from her seat.
"You see, I was tracking your father, wanted to know if he needed a partner, someone to work with so that the world would finally be rid of you," he told her, spinning the dagger around, his eyes solely on the teenager. "When I finally did catch up to him, your father being the stupid prick he is, throws it in a lake. I mean, who does that?"
"Pretttty stupid," Jordanna smiled tightly, letting out a breath. "So what? You've come to kill me, if so, get in line."
"Hm, and to take your magic."
She snorted, "Shame, you're too late. He already beat you to it."
The man tilted his head, scrutinizing her with piercing eyes before he clenched his jaw. "Still. Do you know what it'll do for me, the respect I'll get after I kill the elusive Jordanna Jones? A child no less," he scoffed, looking her up and down. "You shouldn't have had that kind of power in the first place."
Jordanna rolled her eyes, tightening her mess of a ponytail as she stared at the man. Did he honestly have nothing better to do than try and kill a seventeen year old?
Granted, she did kill his wife, and his sister . . . there may have been an in-law or two involved, but that was so not the point.
"Go ahead," she widened her arms. "Try. See what happens."
He scoffed once more before running at her with the dagger.
He, as did her father, believed that without her magic she was nothing.
And in a way, she was. But during those few months she had learnt that she needed to defend herselfโafter all, she still had those enemies and couldn't just sit around all day, so she forced the brand new vampire hunter in town to train her.
Alaric Saltzman.
See, after the witch had stabbed him with her stiletto, she had made peace with himโa deal more or less, that if he trained her, she would help him with his little Damon problem.
And so, he did.
He trained her, though she had been slacking lately. She was slower now, meaning that when the vengeful man came at her the blade in his hand, it skimmed across her bare shoulder, drawing a thin line of blood.
Jordanna gritted her teeth, intaking a breath as she dodged his incoming attacks. She didn't know how long they were at it. Dodging hits, fists flying, legs flying toward one's balls, punches thrown at one's tit, which by the way, hurt like a bitch!
Though her face brightened as her back collided with the wall beside her fireplace, a choked laugh escaped her lips as she lifted her chinโfinding an axe next to her. Now don't ask me why there was one inside, 'cause seriously who leaves an axe lying around a house? Alaric Saltzman that's who.
Alaric insisted it was better for the wood if it was freshly chopped or whatever, then he had just left it inside, and seeing as Jordanna was too lazy to move it, it stayed there.
And she was fucking joyful that it had.
Her hands gripped onto the handle, and with a harsh swing she embedded it into his torso as he came running toward her. It was quite a fucking struggle to get it back out but she managed.
After kicking him to the ground she decided it'd be fun to chop off his arm.
Like she did his family. It was symbolic, sue her.
"Say hi to Emmy for me," she whispered in his ear earning an angry, pained grunt to leave his mouth as his wife's name left her lips before he slowly bled out on her floor. And when I say slowly I mean fucking slowly.
Jordanna dropped to the ground beside him with a huff, pulling her phone from her pocket she dialled Caroline's number.
"Hey Care-Bear," Jordanna greeted. "I'm gonna need you to bring me your good shit."
"What are youโoh! For fucks sake JJ, again?"
ใปโฅใป
present day.
Jordanna hummed quietly to herself as she danced around the store as 'right down the line' played in the background. The vampire softly swaying her hips as she picked up a Valentino skirt, pulling a face she threw it into her shopping basket.
Her hands obnoxiously drummed against a surface as she continued her dancing. Making her way around the room she took various items, placing them in her basket. She pursed her lips, pushing her Chanel sunglasses up her head, setting them atop her hair as she narrowed her eyes at the spot of crimson on the floor.
She merely hopped over the pool of blood, sparing a glance at the body beside it. There laid one of the workers, head detached from her body. And before you say anything, no she wasn't a ripper. She wasn't Stefan! She merely just found enjoyment in tearing their heads from their bodies as she did with ripping their limbs apartโwhich was exactly what she did to the man beside the blood covered headless woman.
As she passed a tall mirror she paused, leaning closer to get a better look at herself. Just as she brought her thumb up to her bottom lip to wipe off the smudged red lipstick (or blood) she spotted movement in the corner of her eye.
Turning, she watched amusedly as the police officer halted, (he had showed up after getting a disturbance call), his breath caught in his throat as his eyes flickered between her and the mass of bodies surrounding her.
With a sigh she placed her basket on a surface and took a small step forward, the mere sound of her heels clicking against the floor was enough to set him off in a sprint.
As the man ran Jordanna's eccentric laugh boomed after him, her voice high in a mocking tone as she shouted after him, "Run piggy run."
Just as he got to the entrance of the store he stopped in his place as she appeared in front of him. Smiling up at him widely, flashing her pretty, pearly whites. The vampire placed her hands on his shoulders, manicured hands curling around the back of his neck before she pulled him to her.
The eyeliner seemed to make her blue eyes even brighter as she stared up at him, "Don't even think about moving."
And he didn't move an inch, not like he had a choice in the matter. Compulsion, duh!
Her piercing eyes stared him down as her hands snaked in his pockets, pulling out his wallet. She pulled it open, scoffing at the mere $5, before she threw it to the ground. Her face scrunched up as she pulled out a picture of his family, all whom looked happy. Yikes. Big disgusting smiles on their facesโGod it was horrible, she could've gagged at how happy they were.
Happy? She didn't know the fucking term.
"Seriously?" She asked dryly, raising a brow as she waved the small picture of a woman, tits basically falling from her shirt, in his face. A woman who was not his wife. "Shame on you . . . " she spoke mockingly before pausing as she fished through his wallet some more. "Ken Adams."
Tucking his ID in the waistband on her skirt she looked back up at him with a scarily malicious smile, "Okay, Ken Adams," she said in a deep taunting tone. "Time for you to die."
The man's eyes widened a fracture as he grew to look panicked and before he knew it, her teeth sunk into his neck. Her hands regained place on his shoulders, manicured nails digging into the blue, crisp shirt as she sped them to a wall. She smiled against his skin as she listened to the sound of his heart slow.
She pulled away just as he was hanging on for dear life, her red eyes meeting his as the veins under her eyes bulged. Blood dripped to the ground from her lips as she spoke, "Bye-Bye Kenny."
And she proceeded tearing his throat out until his head dropped to the ground with a squelching thump, "Gross."
Turning back to the mirror she was originally stood at she grabbed the basket and continued with her shop. Jumping slightly as she hoped over body after body, all the workers and customers laid dead, throats either torn out or they were merely beaten to death out of pure amusement. If it's any consolation they were beaten to death by an arm, like she tore someone's arm off and . . . you get the idea. I don't know if that makes it sound better buttt, what can you do about it?
It was all her little game, or perhaps a plan. The others had to watch them die a brutal death which equals in . . . their fear increasing! Meaning they tasted a lotttt better when she fed.
When she finally met the middle of the store she smiled. Eyes meeting the manager who was strung up with a freakin' Gucci scarf. The cause of all the problems that happened today. If you wanted to blame someone for all the casualty's today you can blame her.
She tried to kick Jordanna out after accusing her of stealing (granted she did throw one or two, six, items in her bag without paying but who pays for anything anymore? And she may have been causing a slight disruption, but again that was so not the point).
Just as she bared her fangs she did one last one over of Melanie, the manager, and stopped as she reached the floor. She stared down at the beautiful Saint Laurent shoes on her feet. Crouching down she hastily grabbed Melanie's ankle and pulled the bottom of the shoe to her at an awkward angle that made the manager cry out.
A grin pulled at her lips, "Well, would you look at that, Mel. We're the same size."
And so she rid herself of her own blood covered shoes and replaced them with Melanie's. The vampire stood eye to eye with Melanie after securing the shoes on her feet, she gave the manager a sly smirk and leant forward, pressing a kiss to her cheek before moving her lips to her ear, "Thanks for the shoes, amore." And she was off again, making an exit via the back. After setting the building on fire that was, she was emotionless, not stupid.
As she strolled down the back alley, Melanie's screams called after her, the embers of the flame from her lighter warmed her face as she lit the cigarette between her lips, her free hand gripping onto her many shopping bagsโwhich she quickly packed before she set the building aflame.
Whilst she was walking down the alley way she felt a presence, the Jones merely rolled her eyes already knowing who it was without turning around, "Can I help you Elijah?"
Then suddenly he was standing in front of her, a scolding mom type of look on his face, "You've killed nearly a total of 100 within 3 days." He pursed his lips looking her up and downโfollowing the blood that trailed down the corner of her lips to the crimson stain that sat on her silver necklace, the dark coloured material of her skirt barely just covering the blood stain whilst her top stayed in it's pristine condition.
"Aw shucks," she tutted playfully, pushing down her sunglasses so they sat on her nose (mainly so she wouldn't have to stare at Elijah's face as much). "That's not nearly enough. Me and Caroline kinda have this competition on who can kill moreโ"
"Your humanity's been off for nearly 4 months, Jordanna. I'm sure you can do the math of how many lives you have taken."
She pulled a face, "Actually I kinda failed math soo . . . "
Elijah huffed as she blew cigarette smoke in his face, "Jordanna this isn'tโ"
She held her hand to his face, shutting him up, "If you say 'this isn't you' I will literally shoot myself in the fucking face, and you know how much I like my face 'Lijah."
"Jordannaโ" He shook his head.
"I don't know if me and you remember the same me, but I'm pretty sure I've always been like this. I was never a fucking saint Elijah. I'm the same just witch turned vampire. Bad turned . . . slightly worse," she grinned at him, wrapping her lips around the cigarette. "Now are you gonna move? I have things to do."
"Niklaus needs to see you," Elijah blurted out. He wasn't as good as he appeared to be when it came to a humanity-less Jordanna. She was more stubborn, more annoying and she was currently testing his patience.
"I saw Niklaus," she mocked in a deep tone. "Yesterday. I'm sure he's fine, or can he just not get enough of me?"
Elijah resisted the urge to roll his eyes, "Jordanna, you will come back with me this instance."
"You will come back with me this instance," she mocked him further. "Yeah, no. You're not my mom, all right? Go bother wolf-girl, I'm busy."
"Jordannaโ"
And before he knew it, she was gone.

Naomi barely flinched from her place on the couch as Klaus threw his canvas across the room, her eyes merely lifted up in a scowl as he muttered to himself under his breathโdistracting her from her sketching.
Men, she rolled her eyes.
"I suppose we shall call this your 'white period'," Elijah tried to joke as he stepped into the room, lifting up the discarded art.
"I'm missing a crucial colour in my paletteโthat of my enemies' blood," Klaus huffed his cheeks, looking toward Elijah with a scowl on his face.
"Well, I recommend a Venetian red, with a dash of rust . . ." Elijah continued his efforts to lift his brother's mood, Naomi gave him a look as she met his eye.
"It's been months! I've adhered to our plans, sit and do nothing. Sell our grief. And now, my son safely away, and another full moon is upon usโanother night of pathetic weakness as the Moonlight rings steal my strength!"
"The nursery is killing me," Klaus spoke quietly. "I need to act. I- I need, I need to spill blood."
Elijah smiled lightly toward his brother as Naomi placed her sketchbook down on her lap, noticing the change of behaviour in the elder brother, "Well, then, you'll be pleased to know that I've located the last of the twelve rings forged with your blood."
Klaus' eyes brightened slightly, "Then it's time."
"And none too soon," Elijah nodded before his face pulled into one of concern. "I'm concerned about Jordanna," his gaze flickered over to Naomi. "You were supposed to watch her."
"Watch her? You mean babysit," she arched a brow at him. "You wanted me to babysit that little psycho, sorry I don't wanna die," she sent him a tight lipped smile.
Elijah sighed and turned to his brother, "Speaking of Jordannaโ"
"Leave her be Elijah," Klaus turned back to his art with pursed lips. "She's grieving."
"You both are," Elijah pointed out.
"People grieve in different ways, brother," Klaus released a sigh as he momentarily turned back to his brother, his head snapped up upon hearing the sound of clicking heels.
Jordanna dropped the shopping bags onto the ground with a huff before turning her head slightly, a shit eating grin sat on her lips as she stared up at the dumbfounded Mikaelsons.
"Hey boys," the Jones wiggled her fingers in greeting before turning her gaze to the Tate. "Naomi," she sang teasingly. "I see you're up and running again."
"Yep," Naomi clicked her tongue. The last time she and Jordanna had came in contact, well, Jordanna snapped her neck and she woke up tied to the back of a vanโa moving van.
Jordanna sent her a wink before her eyes flickered between the two brothers, the vampire groaned, throwing her head back with an eyeroll at the tense atmosphere, "God, it's all so depressing."
"So, JJ, how do you like being a vamp?" Naomi watched her closely, she was supposed to be Jordanna's person, to help her learn control but since she was off her fucking rocker she couldn't really do anything to help her, at the moment.
Jordanna chuckled, "It's fucking amazing. Shame Stef's not here to tell me 'your emotions have been heightened'," she mocked.
Naomi huffed in slight amusement whilst the Mikaelson brothers shared a look, rolling their eyes slightly at her words.
Klaus ran his tongue across his teeth in annoyance as he made his way toward the vampire, his hand curled around her forearm before he sped away.
"Can you not?" Jordanna murmured, shooting him a glare as she steadied herself, looking around the room she found herself in hers and Klaus' room.
"What? Are you going to snap my neck again?" Klaus rolled his eyes referring to the last time he had tried to get her to turn it on.
"Could do," she shrugged with a toothy smile.
"I'd be careful if I were you Jordanna," Klaus warned, looking down at her with a glare. "More have died for less."
She scoffed, "You and I both know you won't kill me. You love me remember?" She pouted playfully, before a dry chuckle left her lips.
"You're right. I may not kill you butโ"
"Ah, ah, ah," she wiggled her finger as she took a step back, narrowing her eyes at him as he took a small step towards her. "Try anything and I'll rip Elijah's arm off and feed it to you."
Klaus merely rolled his eyes, again, before he sped toward her, pining her to the wall as he stared down at her, one hand rested against the wall.
"This is cosy," she hummed tauntingly.
"Turn it on," he demanded.
"Really?" She gave him a flat look. "You know I drink vervain, Nikky."
"Yes, well I was hoping you had an off day and perhaps forgot," he sent her a false smile, removing his arm from the wall.
"You and I both know that I won't forget," she tutted. "But I've got things to do, so I'm gonna leave now. Don't miss me too much, gorgeous."
"I'm afraid I can't allow that," Klaus clenched his jaw, grabbing a hold of her arm.
She pulled a face and tilted her head. "Such pretty eyes," she whispered before lifting her hand to his cheek.
He narrowed his eyes at her actionโbody tensing at the touch.
"But like I said, I've got shit to do so . . . " she smiled slyly before her hand curled to the back of his neck and before she had chance to snap it he grabbed her wrist and bent it backwards.
She clenched her jaw and lifted her knee, kneeing him in the dick before she reached out once again and snapped his neck.
She bent her wrist back in place before sauntering out the room.
ใปโฅใป
"I see you're awake," Jordanna grinned as she walked into the Compound, eyes on Klaus.
"Delightful, you're here," Klaus sighed in slight annoyance, running his hand down his face. The Mikaelson had to remind himself everyday for the last four months that this was the woman he lovedโbecause every time they seemed to come in contact he had the urge to rip her heart from her chest.
"A little birdie told me that you're going on a dog hunt," she told them, taking a seat down onto the couch. "And I'm losing by 5, fucking 5! Can you believe it? Caroline Forbes is beating me by 5โ"
"What nonsense are you going on about now?" Klaus rolled his eyes.
"It seems Jordanna and Caroline Forbes have fabricated a . . . competition," Elijah began to explain with a sigh, clicking his tongue as he turned to his brother with an unamused expression on his face. "Where in which they see who can kill more people."
Jordanna nodded, pointing at Elijah drastically, "Yes! And the little bitch is winning."
"What is she doing here?" A voice sounded out, Hayley made her way into the room, a frown on her face as her eyes met Jordanna's.
Jordanna groaned loudly, "Great, wolf-girl is here too. Are we gathering more strays orrrr?"
"Shut up Jordanna," Hayley snapped, looking down at her with a hardened jaw.
"Make me," the vampire winked as a sly smile pulled at her lips.
Hayley took a deep breath as she rolled her eyes, looking away from her friend (or former friend), as Elijah's voice sounded out, "We don't have time for this. We're taking the twelve original rings."
"Now, four of them sit on the hands of the Guerrera brothers. One on Oliver, one on Francesca, three with the home security detail, and the rest scattered amongst her lackeys. Now, each ring is distinguishable by it's settingโgauche, like those that wear them."
"If they believe they can get their hands on the stake, they will come for me when I am weak," Klaus stated, looking around at the three. "Each ring you retrieve will strengthen me, but I will still be at disadvantage."
"Ergo, any hope of our success depends entirely on our working together," The elder Original spoke, shooting Jordanna a look as she mockingly stared at Hayley, driving her thumb across her neck.
"Hayley, you will have to learn to tolerate Jordanna for the evening," Elijah shot the Marshall a look as she opened her mouth to retort something before his gaze shifted to Klaus and Jordanna. "And the two of you can no longer afford to be at each others throats, you cannot retreat to separate corners."
"This is our fight. Are you ready for battle?" Klaus spoke after a moment of hesitation, his voice soft as he spoke.
Jordanna merely stared at him blankly, lifting her shoulders into a shrug, "I'll win the competition so I'm in."
Klaus inhaled deeply, turning away from her before she spoke up again. "Also, I want Francesca," she blurted out before she could stop herself. She didn't know why she wanted that werewolf bitch's head, all she knew was it definitely wasn't because of the Guerrera woman being at fault when it came to sending her son away.
Klaus nodded lightly, with a weak smile, "Her head will be delivered to you on a silver platter."

As night fell over the Courtyard the wolves slowly inched their way into the Abattoir. Jordanna's bat held tightly in her hand as she leant against the staircase near where Klaus was.
A smile pulled at her lips as she watched the wolves attempt to creep their way up to Klaus, using her enhanced speed Jordanna sped up behind them and took a swing at the one closest to herโthe werewolf fell to his knees before she kicked him down, she pressed her heel into his back, and swiftly snapped the neck of the incoming wolf.
As Hayley sped over and plucked the ring from his finger Jordanna bent down and lifted the hand of the wolf she was holding down, she pulled the ring off of his finger with a smile, kissing his knuckles tauntingly, "Thanks doll, you're a peach."
And she took her foot off of him, snapping his neck in a quick movement. It was only a second later when more wolves moved inโlike a swarm of bees.
Jordanna hated bees.
The wolves circled the two women, they had smug looks on their faces and Jordanna could only roll her eyes. She tilted her head as she grinned at them, "Have I mentioned what a shitty couple of months I've had?"
And she lunged, her eyes going bloodshot red as she sped to them, going to the nearest wolf again she tore into his throat before draining him of his blood.
The vampire pushed the lifeless body away and tore his finger from his hand, pulling the ring off she carelessly threw the finger to the ground before placing the piece of jewellery in her bra.
Jordanna licked the blood from her lips and brushed her hair from her face before she turned to the others, teeth stained crimson as she grinned at them.
Though the strangest thing happened as she began fighting, she heard somethingโsomeone, calling out her name. Her eyes widened a fraction, momentarily before her face dropped flat.
A child.
Calling out her name quietly, merely at a whisper. Her head whipped around in confusion. Catching her off guard, a wolf grabbed her wrist and bent it back, baring his fangs he tore into her shoulder.
The vampire hissed lightly, suddenly aware of her surroundings again before her leg shot up and she kicked him away. Her hands went white on her bat as she swung, the nails indenting his head, blood dripped from his temple, trailing down the bat, covering her hands red with crimson.
Jordanna sped over to the female security guard and shot her hand through her back, gripping onto her heart before she tore it out. She dropped it to the ground and crouched down, removing her ring from her finger.
She pulled a face as she noticed the bracelet on her wrist. Diamond! She snatched it from her wrist before she sauntered away, coming to a stop as she noticed the Marshall hybrid.
She leant against the wall, watching as Hayley tore Oliver's ring from his finger before letting him go. Jordanna rolled her eyes and advanced toward him, but before she could Hayley sped in front of her with a stern look on her face.
"No," Hayley told her.
Jordanna squinted her eyes, tilting her head as she pursed her lips, "Whatever."
And she sped out of the Compound, leaving Hayley to stare at the figure before she disappeared.
ใปโฅใป
Francesca sped down the road, she fearfully turned back to see of anyone was following her before she harshly slammed down on her brakes upon seeing a figure stood in the middle of the road.
Oh, how Jordanna got deja vu.
When the car came to a halt she frantically looked around, the silence swallowed her whole and after a moment a cry left her lips as her head whipped aside.
Jordanna's bat connected with the window of the car, smashing the glass before she gripped onto the collar of Francesca's jacket and pulled her out of the car.
Francesca fell to the ground with a thud, fearfully staring up at Jordannaโthe vampire only grinned back down at her, "Hey Franny, how've you been?"
And not a second later her bat connected with Francesca's body. Hit after hit after hit. Jordanna crouched down, swiping her fingers over the crimson on the wolf's body, bringing it to her lips, her face scrunched up, "Bitter. Not surprised though."
"Please," Francesca breathed out, sobs racking her body as she shook.
"What was that?" Jordanna cupped her ear mockingly. "I can't hear you."
"Please."
The vampire rolled her eyes before she came to a stand, she teasingly shut an eye as though she was looking for better aim as she angled the bat at her neck before striking.
After more harsh hits her head finally separated from her body, "Hm," Jordanna made a noise of appreciation before bending down and picking up her head.
Jordanna brought the head up to her eyeline before smiling at it and strolled down the street.
ใปโฅใป
"You better have that silver platter ready for me, Nikky," Jordanna called out as she entered the Abattoir, alerting the attention of the others whom stood in the Courtyard, waiting on her arrival.
She swiftly threw the Moonlight rings toward Elijah who caught them in his palm as he, and the others, stared at her, dumbfounded.
There she stood, holding onto Francesca's head. Upon noticing the stare she smiled down at it before looking back up at them, "Cool right? I should get it displayed or something."
Hayley's mouth opened slightly as she stared at the crimson around Francesca's mouth, it seemed as though Jordanna had painted a smile on the werewolf's face with her own blood . . .
"Hold this for me will you?" Jordanna asked, looking in Hayley's direction before she threw the head to her, the Marshall flimsily caught it with trembling hands. "I gotta get changed."
"Jordannaโ" Elijah called after her, though she ignored him and made her way up the stairs.
The original sped in front of her, she gave him a blank stare and tried to move past him, though he blocked her from doing so. A small, "Seriously?" Fell from her lips.
Elijah opened his mouth to say something before he reluctantly spoke up, "Does this not bother you? Jordanna, you are better than this, you're not this . . . this monster you make yourself out to be."
"Stop being so soft," she rolled her eyes. "I was a monster for a good while before this, a mother, then an apparent 'monster' again. Get over it, Elijah. It doesn't bother me, so it shouldn't bother you."
And she pushed past him and made her way into the bedroom.
Klaus watched with a solemn look on his face as she walked away before deciding whether or not to follow her. He did. His brain wracked as he searched for things to say to her, what he could do to get her humanity on. He hadn't even gotten close to getting her to turn it back on during those four, painful, months.
And when he had finally gathered what he would say he made his way to her, following her into their room, or rather his room now seeing as she hadn't slept there in months. It felt cold without her.
He opened his mouth to begin to say all the things he had longed to say before his eyes widened. Klaus caught sight of the bite on her shoulder as she lifted her shirt over her head. The original advanced toward her, a worried look in his eyes as his fingers skimmed over the wound before she pulled away.
He swiftly bit into his wrist and held it out to her, ignoring the pang in his heart as she pulled away from him, "Drink."
She only stared at him with a blank face and continued to change out of her bloody clothes.
"Drink or I'll do it," he demanded.
And the more she ignored him the more he grew annoyed and eventually ended up snapping her neck, he caught her in his arms before she could hit the ground and carried her to the bed. He released a sigh and sat down beside her on the bed, wiping a hand down his face after making sure that his blood was in her system as her wound slowly healedโit was a lot harder than it seemed to get the blood down her throat but he managed.
His hand brushed against her hair lightly as he stared down at her before getting up and walking out of the room, failing to notice the small trail of black blood run from her nose.
