To all the wonderful Father's that has given us everything we need. Quality traits that define a father to me is supportive, hardworking, honest, kind, and devotion. I appreciate the time my readers take into showing how much they love their fathers. Even if you are troubled or having any problems with today, remember that someone else can be a father figure for you. One that truly cares for a gentle soul such as yourself deserves their undivided attention...If anyone feels like talking, you can ask me whenever. I hope you guys enjoy ur day, thank you.

2 years later...

(f/n) has grown far stronger than he anticipated, even after training for three years at a consistent pace. He wanted to do surprise his Dad with a special gift since Father's Day was coming up, so he went around the city of Kuo Kuana to find the perfect gift suited for his Dad. Unfortunately, he was only ten years old without an occupation so he wouldn't have any money to buy anything and would likely seek other ways to get what his father might want. (f/n) searched every alleyway, asked all of the city-folk, and looked for any sort of present that appeals to his father. In failure, (f/n) returned home empty-handed and ashamed about the lack of effort displayed in finding a gift, little did he know was that he was trying his best to make his father happy. Dad was still at work, being one of the body guards for the Belladonnas, luckily he was able to send Ilia back home to accompany (f/n). Ilia, being the smartest of the two children came up with a solution that may help (f/n) find what he looking for all along. She suggested they buy a puppy. This confused the boy due to the fact that why would Dad be interested in dogs until the idea clicked to his inny-winnie brain, noticing the brilliance of Ilia without acknowledging it out loud to her. Both of them agreed and found a small pet shop located southeast of their home only being a few blocks away from where they lived. The children entered the small store and approached the Pet Keeper. 

Ilia: Excuse me ma'am, we are looking for a puppy. Can you help us?

Woman: (Glancing down at the small girl barely taller than the counter) Of course my dear, what type of puppy do you see interests you?

Ilia: Actually, Ms. the present is meant for our "father". Since it's Father's Day, we both wanted to do something special for him while he is at work.

Woman: Aren't you both just so sweet. I'll help any way I can. Please, look around for any that suits you?

Ilia: (bowing her head slightly) Thank you. 

(f/n): (thinking w/annoyance) I wonder what kind of puppy Dad would like? Huh, this is so tough! I don't know, ugh! Will he tell us to get rid of it, I really hope not.

Ilia: Hey (f/n), let's go find our puppy. He/she would likely interest us both right? 

(f/n): Yup, lead the way 

Ilia and (f/n) continue their search for a puppy their father would enjoy. Being dumbfounded, they notice that none of the dogs fit the description due to them being mostly old----or even being young adults. Saddened by their failure once again, the children were about to leave the door before the pet keeper stops them saying...

Woman: Hey guys, wait!

(f/n): What is it? (asking curiously) 

Woman: I may have a certain dog your father may want, kid? Would you like to see it? It's a puppy btw in case you're wondering.

Ilia: (overjoyed) YES PLEASE! CAN WE SEE IT?

Woman: Yep, I'll be right back to retrieve it okay, give me five minutes to prepare.

(f/n): (smiling w/excitement) Thank you Ms.

Woman: Of course, be right back kiddos.

Five minutes later, the pet keeper appears enters the rooms while holding onto a leash. The door was covering the dog's appearance until she later completely opens it, showing the image of what the children been waiting for all this time. The puppy was a little older than expected but it still will likely make Dad very happy. The dog is covered with white fur and one black "mark" spotted on the left side of its stomach. The puppy was looking at the two future owners, seeming excited to be played with, the small dog rushed forward to both of them while wagging its tail immensely. Both children awed at the cuteness the puppy presented, not bothering to take their eyes off it once. Later, they looked up at the dog and towards the pet keeper who seems to be in a good mood. Ilia asks how much the puppy costs?

Woman: Well, actually this puppy is "special", sweetheart. She was a stray pup whenever we found her alone, without any parents. The puppy must've been abandoned since it was born and luckily was found just in time. We haven't given her a name yet but I was hoping both of you would, adopting this puppy would be a blessing for this poor dog. She's been through a lot. 

Ilia: So how much for "her"?

Woman: (smiling) how about I let you take her home for now then make some sort of agreement later on when she returns?

Ilia: (ecstatic) That would be WONDERFUL!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

(f/n): (dumbfounded) WOW, ARE YOU SERIOUS. WE CAN REALLY KEEP HER?

Woman: Yep, for now why don't you kids bring her "home". It's starting to get dark soon. Don't want your father worrying now huh?

Ilia & (f/n): OH SHOOT, WE FORGOT WHAT TIME IT WAS? THANK YOU AGAIN, BYE (they both said reaching the door while waving at her goodbye)

Woman: (chuckling) Come back anytime, kiddos!

Once Ilia and (f/n) reached their home, the puppy began spinning around in joy seeing her new home. Ilia was giggling to herself at the. dog's silliness while (f/n) kept smiling, feeling whole about finding his father the present he deserves. They both snuck into the house at the back door, and slowly made it into the room to surprise him. The puppy was taught one trick while they waited, the dog proving to be a lot brighter compared to the average. It took about fifteen minutes before they heard the door unlocked, both excited they ran towards him, hugging against his firm chest. 

Dad: Woah, y'all almost squeezed me to death. Both of you are getting bigger huh, almost everyone looking at (f/n).

Ilia: We are so glad you're home, Uncle. We have a surprise for you!

Dad: YOU DO! WHAT IS IT? (in a joyous mood)

(f/n): We can't tell you YET. You gotta see it for yourself. (grabbing hold of his father's hand)

While all three of them approached the living room, Dad was astonished by what his gift was. Being filled with such happiness, he picked up the two children and began shaking them with an uncontrollable feeling. 

Ilia & (f/n): HAPPY FATHER'S DAY...DAD!!!

Dad: (crying) Thank you. This is the best gift y'all ever given me but not the Greatest.

(f/n) and Ilia looking at each other in confusion, the children didn't quite understand what he meant by that...

Dad: (kneeling down with a big smile) Both of you are my greatest gift a father could ask for. And to go and find me a gift so kind and devoted means the world to me.

All of them cherishing the moment while embracing the warmth of family love, they all looked down toward the small white puppy with a black dot. Thinking about the perfect name for her until Dad thought of one, clever name...

Dad: How about Spot?

(f/n): That's a great name Dad, I love it. We should call her "Spot" because of her mark. (sounding dim-witted)

Ilia: (rolling her eyes at what her cousin said) I agree though, "Spot" is a nice fit to her trait. She seems to enjoy it.

Spot sticking out her tongue, started licking everyone's face causing them to scream with joy. While night soon falls, everyone except Dad is asleep, gave them a good night kiss. When he left their room, Spot was outside waiting for its owner to kiss her too (yuck amirite). Dad began smiling before picking the puppy up, carrying it to his room before placing it on his bed. He takes out a small journal and writes how his special day went. Gazing over towards Spot, Dad tells her how she is apart of this family now, leaving only with words of love. Now, midnight...Dad begins reading her a bed-time story. One about destiny...
