8. ARMAGEDDON PART II
Fire. Fire blazing up into the night sky. Torching every single house in sight. There wasn't any sound to be heard besides his...laughter. You weren't prepared for this moment. Not anyone of you are but that's what a Hero does right, protect the helpless and defeat the villain. Sooner than expected, the story will change. The tide will turn and a battle ahead is set forth in stone. Visualizing what's happening right before your very own eyes, the unimaginable has happened. A dangerous sociopath is targeting you, strange enough to say that he knows you are the "Chosen One". How is it possible you may ask? We don't seem to find any sort of clue or evidence to leading why he knew about me. Smoke continually floats up into the atmosphere every occurring second, causing clouds to turn grey. In a few minutes, rain begins to fall taking a heavy downpour on all of us.
Father hasn't moved yet, looking towards Tyrian's feet but also the rest of his body for any sign of movement. An impressive skill when learning about your enemies tactics during combat. The weirdest part about this fight is...Tyrian's creepy smile. He didn't seem to be serious, as if the superior in front of him wasn't a threat. Something is going on here, best to remain diligent because we never know how might appear next. Hopefully no one strong otherwise we got ourselves a problem. Of course, I'm not ready to face Tyrian but doesn't know how much bravery I held inside. Listening to Father, I sat down against the tree in fatigue while watching the upcoming battle....
He and Tyrian proceeded to stroll around in a circle, not leaving out a single glance of opportunity for the other to gain the advantage. Both stood where they stopped before speaking...
Tyrian: (spreading out his arms with a smirk) I've been waiting so long for this (L/N). You couldn't possibly understand how difficult it was to finally find you. I prepared for this moment to kill the "Hero of Menagerie". (Smiling while he stomped on a dead corpse) And "Guardian" to all Faunus.
Dad: (Gritting his teeth) Let me repeat myself one last time. Defile another Faunus carcass and you'll regret it.
Tyrian: (mockingly) Alright then, are you ready to die then, Hero.
Tyrian soon lifted his boot in the air while staring right at my father in contempt. Stomping on the corpse's skull with enough pressure causing the head to explode rushing forth much blood and brain tissue. Taking out a rag to clean it off before tossing it over towards Father. He really just wanted to piss him off to the point they begin fighting. Surprisingly, Dad never loses his tranquility but he was still angered by this uncomfortable approach Tyrian displayed.
Dad: (with a heartless tone) In every battle I've fought in, it was dragged-out to the point where I must maintain my sense of morality. You are the first rare opponent to lack any compassion unto others. Now, Tyrian you gained my attention...your death will be merciless and gruesome to the point when I will be the only person you'll remember before you die...
Tyrian: Oops... (he said shrugging while extending his hands outwards) "What's one more body piled amongst a foundation (L/N)". You should be grateful.
Dad: Grateful? For slaughtering all these people? I don't think so.
Tyrian: No. I saved them from what is yet to come. This universe is so flawed...until I met her. My "omnipotent" goddess. You know of whom I speak of...
Dad: Yes. But she will no longer rule over my fate any longer. That's probably why she wants me dead. The Queen is afraid of my power I see?
Tyrian: Or perhaps she has interest in a certain someone? (Glancing towards you with a sly smirk).
Dad: (yelling at Tyrian) YOU WON'T TAKE HIM. (F/N) WILL STOP HER. AND IT'S MY JOB TO PROTECT HIM UNTIL THE END...
Tyrian: "So you have chosen death" huh... Good.
The assuring bloodshed has came, time unable to slow down . Everything around us increased with haste as each minute passes by unnoticeable. The neighborhood is blackened with charcoal, silent, damp from the precipitation, and cold...Soon (F/n) begins to rise, standing on his feet. Thinking of whether or not he should help even after what his father said. Reflecting on his previous commands, (F/n) remains obedient still, sitting on a bent and deteriorated bench.
Tyrian ran towards my father with bloodlust consumed in his eyes, preparing to pounce. Dad took a defensive stance to figure out his opponents next move. Tyrian twirls in a 360 formation bringing along with him strong strides of wind pushing. He swipes at his adversary with killing intent, while Dad deflects his incoming attacks. Absorbing all the force brought forth from his wrist blades. Tyrian continues the assault before Dad struck him by the chin with the Yari Staff. He flips backwards to maintain space between them before saying:
Tyrian: (rubbing his bruised chin) Ouch, that really hurts (L/N). Why are holding back? Afraid that you might mess up. There's more things to be afr--
Bang. Dad's incredible speed lashes him in front of Tyrian landing a strong gut-wrenching punch into the stomach. He soon bicycle-kicks which knocked the sociopath in the air. Smiling. Father allowed him to regain his thoughts while staring at the pathetic man.
Dad: Enough talking...
Tyrian: I would SAY the same to YOU!!!
Cracking his neck sideways to hear the bones pop. Tyrian analyzes his next move and later begins smirking. Pacing to Father, he zig-zags with quickness until he tried to leg-sweep. Noticing what he is about to do next, Tyrian takes this chance to plant his hands onto the ground rising a kick forward into the Dad's hip. Hearing a heavy thump coming from the sound made you feel concerned. Tyrian laughs at his swift achievement until speaking once again---
Tyrian: Now, it's even "Hero". Don't wanna get hit by me too much or this battle is over...
Dad: (improvising) I see. So, Tyrian is able to weaken his opponent's abilities by touch. Just one offensive strike to the body will cause the person to be defenseless. Wait, that's why my hip isn't healing right now. The sneaky bastard provided his energy into that single kick. Acknowledging, what happened I can see the glowing purple coming from the hand? When did the man get the moment to touch my hip, it isn't possible unless---of course---Tyrian must've planned that from the beginning, see as if the hip was open to attack. He started to maneuver his entire body in a singular motion after that rising kick. Spinning around, the man tapped the side of my hip during the time he allowed me to bruise that ugly face of his. He's more clever than I thought, I'll give that to him. Won't let it happen again. Can't afford to lower my guard. Gods. This hurts more than I've anticipated to.
Tyrian: This is "the End" for you (L/N). I thought you would be stronger than me but I was wrong, you'll a frail old man who's running out of time.
Oh crap, Tyrian did not just call me Dad "OLD". He's about to take an ass-whooping soon. His funeral.
Dad: Old...Huh. Old. Well, I got news for you pal. I'm not "old", I'm aging like wine. You are definitely in it bud. Prepare to get this beat down. (clashing his fist to the other hand).
Dad places one knee to the ground, weird for him to being a stance. Blasting forward leaving a trail of blue where he left behind, Tyrian sees him coming to him and ready to counterattack. When Dad finally reaches him, the scorpion faunus expected him to go for the punch. Unfortunately for him, he was grabbed by the ankles. Spotting a terrifying smile on his face, Dad increases his power output into strength and tosses Tyrian high into the air.
Tyrian: (screaming) AAAAHHH.
Dad: (chuckling to himself)
He devised a plan to launch himself into the air, placing his Yari staff down. Dad pressed a hidden button on the side of it turning into its X bow form, placing the staff flat on the ashy dirt. The weapon started from the stock configuring itself into a glorious appearance of bright scarlet and gold. Dad hops onto the tip of the arrow mark, saluting (F/n) with two fingers.
Dad: See ya soon, (F/n)!!!
Boosting into the atmosphere, he took the form of an astral projection heading towards his falling target, spiraling out of control Dad was like a heat seeking missile. With lightning speed, Dad finally caught up to Tyrian before grabbing him by the shoulders, then flipping him over towards the ground.
Tyrian: (shouting) ARE YOU INSANE? YOU'LL KILL US BOTH YOU FOOL? LET GO OF ME?
Dad: No can do. This is your fate, Tyrian. You were destined to lose from the moment we met. Die, NOW!!!
Bracing for impact, Tyrian began squirming until using his semblance to allow his hands to touch your father's face. Smiling while he did it, he soon was in disbelief with what is happening. He could not grab hold of his face. Dad's semblance protected him from anyone physical attacks for a certain amount of time. Taking a while to remain focused and determined to master this power, he taught you one lesson about semblance...Use it when deemed necessary. Striking at the worst time with power will eventually lead to one's downfall. Tyrian was soon filled with stressed and began screaming in fear, until placing every amount of aura into the back to cushion the fall damage. Landing, the entire area was filled with much sand dust to go around blocking everyone's vision. Awaiting to see what is to come of Tyrian, you were able to find him laying on the ground. Hoping he was at least dead or crippled to point where he couldn't fight anymore. Dad checked Tyrian's pulse to make sure if he was dead, and to our shock----He was alive still. Amazed. Dad ran over to his X bow and reconfigures into its original formation. Returning back to where he left Tyrian, Dad stands right above him ready to cut the head clean off. Swiping down into his stance, he decides it is better to give him a chance to awaken, allowing him a minute to arise in terror of what will happen. Tyrian soon widening his eyes after being in a brief unconscious state, froze in fear of Dad. The man he saw was different, ready to kill. Tyrian tries to get up but can't due to his back being broken and his scorpion tail which may have prevented the fall completely fractured and useless. Waving his hands pleading for his miserable life. Dad halts for one moment to hear what he has to say---
Tyrian: WAIT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO KILL ME. I AM USEFUL, YOU SEE. I CAN TELL YOU MY QUEEN'S PLAN FOR THE BOY. IF YOU LET ME LIVE OF COURSE...
Dad: AND WHY SHOULD I BELIEVE A SNIVELING RAT SUCH AS YOURSELF. YOU ARE BARELY A MAN. DEFINITELY A COWARD. I SHOULD KILL YOU RIGHT HERE. (Beginning to ignite his aura into the bladed staff)
Tyrian: BUT YOU NEED ME. GIVE ME THE CHANCE TO RUN AT LEAST.
Dad: NO. BUT YOU WILL SUFFER FOR WHAT YOU DID HERE, TYRIAN. I TOLD YOU...YOUR FATE HAS BEEN MADE EVER SINCE WE MET. (Slashing across Tyrian's chest with hideous gashes of cuts running along, pouring out blood)
Tyrian: PLEASE, PLEASE. HAVE MERCY...HERO OF MENAGERIE. I PROMISE YOU I WON'T BOTHER ANYONE...ANYMORE.
Dad: Not just are you are a COWARD, but a LIAR as well. Good bye Tyrian...Tell your Gods who sent you.
Tyrian: NOOOO!!! (clutching his flesh wounds from Dad)
RISING THE YARI STAFF INTO THE SHINING STARS. YOU COULD HEAR THE SOUND OF SURGING POWER TRANSFERRING INTO THE WEAPON. HE CALLED IT---- "HORIZON'S REDEMPTION"...
Dawn appearing upon us all. Dad swings Horizon's Redemption one last time almost reaching Tyrian's neck...until visualizing an twisted black arrow land inside his heart...
