???: Wake up, (F/N).

(F/N): Who's there? 

???: Don't you remember me, Creator?

(F/N): Blu, why am I here now? Is this important cause I gotta challenge my friend tomorrow?

Blu: Of course, you are talking about Adam correct?

(F/N): Yeah. How did you know?

Blu: Well, I am apart of your conscientious (F/N). I can see and hear everything going on in the physical template. For instance, you're scared, nervous, and regretting the decision you made to fight him. Why is that exactly?

(F/N): You wouldn't get it...

Blu: Believe me, I will probably understand. I am you after all. The good half to be precise.

(F/N): That's true....so I'm on both sides here, Blu. You see...my friend has become more violent everyday and I feel like he needs serious help. Adam has lost so much in the past and can't completely blame him. He's angry at the world for pushing him to the point of snapping. I'm afraid...that he may become something vile. Presumably evil in the eyes of others.

Blu: So, what do you see on the other half of all this?

(F/N): Hope. I can sense the good inside him. Don't know why or how but there's a chance that Adam will change for the better. He'll figure out on his path what he is doing now is wrong. He hasn't caused anyone suffering yet-----I fear for his own life that he won't return to the light. Adam doesn't really listen to me. My advice I had given him previously seemed to take less of an effect on his moral belief. The friend I once knew cares very little about the people around him, particularly humans. But that doesn't mean I will give up on him. That's a promise to him. Myself. To the rest of Menagerie. I need to try and.... if not..I fail. I may never forgive myself.

Blu: This sounds crucial. For your soul's sake.

(F/N): I suppose you're right...

Blu: Well, can I give you my opinion, (F/N)?

(F/N): Sure. I don't mind.

Blu: What I believe you should do is continue life without him. It may be a terrible thing to do but for yourself...this might be the only choice you have. I feel the doubt you have inside. (F/N) (L/N) doesn't truly believe he can beat Adam Taurus. Fear. That's the only thing keeping you from doing something you'll regret.

(F/N): Everything you've said is accurate. I am scared. He's become too much a problem. Not just on my hands but all of us. Hatred is his drive. The resentment he has against humans terrifies me especially since we are saw what he did that night at the dust outpost. And to hear him murder more bystanders. Those who just wanna live normal lives and provide for their families. Adam is tearing them apart. He has made me doubt myself because him and I are so alike. We both lost loved ones..our parents. We both given so much to the White Fang. Blood. Determination. Time. These three traits signify the things we had to the do...our purpose to spread equality across Remnant. How foolish I was to think this is a righteous path. 

Blu: (Remaining silent) ........................

(F/N): I gues--

Blu: (F/N)...

Catching my attention, Blu had something he had to say and with great importance.

Blu: I'm not trying to make you give up on your friend. But to move on. In the past, you've been controlling his life. Don't you see...you are the main reason Adam is being pushed around.

(F/N): (Fueled with a bad temper) HOW? ARE YOU SO CERTAIN IT WAS ME THAT MADE HIM CHANGE?

Blu: No. You know exactly what I mean. (F/N)...stop trying to rule over Adam as some kind of pawn. Obviously, you care enough about him as a friend. But I can acknowledge the truth...

(F/N): What truth, Blu? Am I trying to hide something from everyone else?

Blu: Yes. The truth you need to hear is pivotal. The fact that you left Adam alone for an entire year by himself has inspired the poor boy to feel envy. Not for you. But for everyone else. He doesn't have anyone close to him to look after but you. My creator has actually abandoned his true purpose...

(F/N): What purpose is that? To kill anyone in my way like Adam. Stay with the White Fang so I could lose the morality of sparing one's life even if they are human. You keep telling me that I left hi---

Blu: (Interrupting) BUT YOU DID JUST THAT. ADAM TAURUS HAS BEEN LEFT BEHIND JUST LIKE YOU LEFT THE WHITE FANG. YOU LEFT A FRIEND. A BROTHER BEHIND. TO BE ALONE.

(F/N): (Accepting the truth)................You're right Blu. I guess we finally know who the real monster is huh. To think I had the firm answer for everything...but to sound like a hypocrite. To say I won't leave you. Not ever. Is the understatement of the century. I did abandon him, didn't I. Now, here we are about to fight to the death pretty much...what kind of friend am I....

(F/N)'s THOUGHTS: Recognizing the actual response to Blu's opinion about Adam. I did nothing to save my friend during the time he needed me most. Adam just wanted to be seen as a person. To feel as if someone truly cared about him and not leaving him alone in the dark. In truth, I broke my promise as well when I said that we will remain together...that I will stay by his side through thick and thin. The person who I really have disappointed is me...

(F/N): (Crying) I'M SORRY ADAM. (He said curling up into a ball in the void)

Blu: (Floats down to the boy's level before wiping his tear) This isn't your fault completely. I just wanted to let you know how the truth can cut both ways. That's why I tried to be as honest as I can be. But, now here you are. Seeking my counsel. Letting me speak. Listening to my advice. (F/N) (L/N) should feel proud to have gained the wisdom he----so desperately needed. 

(F/N): I failed... Blu. I failed him...I failed Adam. I don't "deserve" forgiveness. You are right. He should be free to do whatever he feels necessary. I'm a fool to believe even he could change...to share "love" to others. He isn't the same boy I met on the street that day. The Adam Taurus I once knew was gone long ago after joining the White Fang...Can't you see..I'm tired of fighting..This endless cycle of hatred will never stop. The Faunus won't seek the peace they so rightfully deserve after so many years of anguish, suffering, and discrimination. I can't do this alone...He has won....(Looking down in depressive state).

Blu: Then, (F/N). You are the one truly lost. To think you are alone. What kind of nonsense are you spouting. This is the most redundant attempt of self-pity. The creator I once knew never gave up on his friends. He kept trying to push others to reach their greatest potential. Never holding them back. You have given me one of the many gifts life has to offer. To exist. And to experience the things life has brought. Watching you grow....has caused me to feel inspired with hope. Hope is what keeps me going. What does it do for you? Ask yourself. Truly understand what I'm trying to say. What does hope give you? Does it make you feel powerful? Or weak. Does it make you feel significant? Or forgotten? Does it help when you are giving it your best shot? Or does it only bring you down? So...(F/N)...what does hope give you? 

Staying silent for a few minutes while the Chosen One has time to ponder on the important questions Blu has offered him. The spirit embodies the wisdom, the purity, and the spark...he feels inside...that's what I feel when encountering hope. I gained the knowledge to be...

(F/N): (Arising with the correct answer) Inspired. Inspiration is the only thing left to give my people...to Adam is a choice. Will you sacrifice your own image...your loved ones...and everything precious to you...to reach the end. No. That's not who I am. My Father believed I am the one who will save this world from the Grimm. We are all destined to face our demons. So I will not give into despair. Because the only thing left for me to do is HOPE. Hope for a better future. Lead my people into a new age of freedom and equality. And leave no trace of secrets, regret, sadness, or loved ones behind. I will not give up on Adam. I can't and I won't ever.

Blu: (Smiling) That is the.....correct choice. Well done, (F/N). You have truly been enlightened by the truth this world has to offer. Humanity can still be saved. Not from Grimm. But from ourselves. Forge onward and remain strong and one day...you will inspire others to carry the spark that ignites in the darkness.

Timeskip- Moments later...

THOUGHTS: Awakening to see my entire room in a mess. I checked the clock to find out the time. 5AM. Good. I got up quite early while most of the city was asleep. Beginning to prepare for the challenge...I reflected on what my astral guide tried to tell me. I am in his gratitude. To give out hope is all we need to do...so the one's we care about continue on their journey without us. 

The boy got dressed in his regular outfit he picked to wear and went downstairs to eat a nutritious breakfast. He went back to his room to freshen up. Feeling light-heartened than usual, (F/N) listened to music while he danced around in the shower. Hearing a familiar giggle, he pulled the shower curtain slightly to see his dear cousin, Ilia standing at the door. Recording what she had just witnessed. She told him that---

Ilia: (Well pleased) I'm definitely gonna send this to my friends.

(F/N): WAAAAH. Wait Illy, stop. (Slipping over the puddle of water while in defeat). Damn you....

Ilia: Oh please. One of my friends thought you were cute. I heard she got a crush on you. I can't wait see her reaction after I show her this.. HAHAAA

(F/N): How much...

Ilia: (Pretending to sound dull) How much what...(F/N)?

(F/N): How much lien do you need to not post that video?

Ilia: (Tapping her chin) Hmm. How about you do me a favor instead?

(F/N): Oh jeez. Not this again...

Ilia: No...no...(F/N) don't worry. This is something different. 

(F/N): (Calm) Okay..what do you want me to do?

Ilia: Actually what I want for you to do in the future?

(F/N): (Dumbfounded) Huh?

Ilia: You heard me, dum-dum. 

(F/N): SO WHAT IS IT THEN.

Ilia: Gosh. When are you gonna stop yelling at your sweet cousin? (Fluttering her eyelids). Oh well. Guess you don't wanna find out then. I'll be right back...gotta show this to BLAKE!!!

(F/N): (Getting dressed while he closed the door) WAIT!!! HOLD ON JUST A SECOND, ILLY. PLZ.

Ilia: You got ten seconds to come o--

(F/N): Done.

Ilia: OK. So what I wanna for you to do is----

(F/N): (Curious with puppy dog eyes) Is what?

Ilia: Show this to your future girlfriend and if not....well you still owe me in other ways. Oh and I wanna see her reaction too!!!

(F/N): (Scratching her head) Is that it?

Ilia: Yup. Unless you wanna be say something embarrass---

(F/N): I'm good, Illy. Another time... thank you, cousin.

Ilia: Oh..you're so very welcome. (Pinching his face while she pulled hard)

(F/N): (Yelp) OUCH! YOU'RE HURTING ME ILLY!!!

Both of them continued to laugh as they went downstairs. (F/N) remarkably gave his favorite cousin a hug. A sweet hug full of warm embrace and kindness. Amazed. Ilia was surprised to see him do something so strange. Asking why he did that for...(F/N) responded---

(F/N): Well. Today is the day I fight Adam. (Holding her hand) I'm scared, Illy. Terrified. I don't think my heart believes I can do this...against a friend...So what I'm trying to say is...that--

You have always been there for me, Illy. Everyday, you have made me smile and appreciate the importance of love and family. I will always love you, Illy. Thank you for the memories we shared together. My childhood wouldn't be the same without you in my life.

Ilia: What makes you think you are alone, (F/N)? Because I'm always here for you. Remember what our Father said...

(F/N) & Ilia: TO ALWAYS LOOK TO THE HORIZON!!!

Ilia: That's right. And if you are ever feeling scared...don't be. I'll stay by your side until the end. Because You Are My Family.

Ilia pulls her cousin into a hug to feel comfort. All the boy has ever known was Fear...Not anymore. The Chosen One will remain strong till he takes his last breathe and will never give up on his dreams...because it is driven by Hope...

---ENDING OF CHAPTER 15. THE FALL OF ADAM PT. ONE---

This truly must be one of my favorite chapters so far. The main character in the story relates to how my personal life is going. I've dealt with many hardships over the past and been driven by Fear. Not anymore. I pray all of you remain strong just like (F/N) and face your demons head-on with courage. Pain can be a blessing in some ways because it allows us to experience the burdens we have carried with us inside for our entire lives. Don't be afraid to be who you are inside. Remember to show kindness even in the darkest of times and I promise you will be rewarded in the end.
