A month and a half after her audition, Lilah was kicked out of the Angelo's household. She hadn't heard anything from anyone about the job, so she figured it wasn't hers. Day after day she spent on her laptop, not unusual, but most of the time it was for apartment searching.

Like in a movie, she got a job at a diner. Her uniform was even the stereotypical blue outfit with white accents, and white sneakers. It made her feel like the main character in a story. Even though she wasn't. Most likely she was the side character in one of her sisters lives — the one who was broke and didn't have any friends.

The one thing Lilah was eternally grateful for, was Sydney. Sydney slightly pitied the girl, but didn't tell her that. So, when Lilah was kicked out, her new 'agent' offered her the couch in her apartment.

With an exception.

To believe in herself. That she would get the part.

It was pretty difficult to do so, seeing as she had the minimal amount of self confidence, but still she tried.

If Sydney noticed that Lilah was up during the middle of the night, she didn't say anything. She tried to be as quiet as possible, reading was usually a good choice. But what came with the anticipation of callbacks and waiting, and more waiting, was stress.

It was incredibly stressful to have more than two hundred other candidates for the same job you were applying for. Whenever she came home from work, Lilah would ask Sydney about the role. Sydney was having a hard time not blurting out everything that was going on with the casting situation.

One day, around eight pm, Lilah came home- well not really her home, she had been living there for almost five months, from the diner. She kicked off her white tennis shoes, letting down her hair from its tight pony tail. Her gaze fell upon a pole, suspended from the bathroom doorway.

She thought about what Sydney had told her, that this job required a lot of physical work, especially if she wanted to do her own stunts.

Shrugging, she wandered over to the pull up pole, hooking her legs around it, and started doing sit ups.

When Sydney came back to apartment half an hour later, giggling with excitement because of the good news she had, she was utterly and completely confused at the sight in front of her. Lilah was basically dangling from the ceiling, her arms relaxed behind her head as she continuously raised herself up to touch her chin to the bar.

Once Lilah saw Sydney come through the door, she let her arms go slack and just hung upside down.

"Hey Sydney."

"What the hell is you doin?"

"Uhhhh-"

"Never mind, I don't really care." She reached into her purse and pulled out a tablet, a smile growing on her lips. "Here's the script, you got the part."

Lilah's legs somehow completely lost their strength and she fell down form the pull up bar, landing on her face.

"Wow. Didn't expect that," Sydney muttered, then walked over to her and offered a hand. Lilah jumped up onto her feet, her eyes wide and the color almost completely drained from her face. "Here's the script," Sydney handed the tablet to her.

With trembling fingers, she took it and muttered a thank you. But almost immediately, she set it down on the couch and grabbed her pillow, screaming into it almost enough to strain her voice.

Sydney laughed at her as she retreated from the pillow and yelled some more. Suddenly her phone started ringing, so she shuffled into the hallway to answer it, leaving Lilah alone with her adrenaline rush.

Tom find out that he got the role of Peter Parker around twenty minutes before Lilah did, but the difference was that Sydney didn't call him, he found out on Marvel's Instagram page.

Just lying around, scrolling like he usually did, wishing he had gotten- what was her name? Lilah? He wished that he had gotten at least her phone number or something before they went their separate ways.

While he was thinking about how he wanted to tell Harrison that he hadn't gotten the part for Spiderman, he stumbled upon the post.

"HOLY SHIT!!!" he screamed, jumping up onto his bed.

His brothers came running into his room, asking what was wrong. Tom explained what was going on, and they didn't really believe him. Harry thought Marvel had been hacked, Sam rolled his eyes, but Paddy was fully supportive, and hugged him. His parents eventually came upstairs to see what all the chaos was about, and congratulated him.

After Tom got a call from Kevin Feige, who told him that he got the part, which denied Harry's suspicions about the hacking, a thought drifted Tom's head.

He excused himself from the celebration of champagne and cookies Sam baked, and made a phone call to his agent, Sydney.

She picked up after three rings. "Hey Holland, I totally forgot to tell you that you got the part!" she said excitedly, with a slight hint of guilt.

"Yeah Syd, I know," he rolled his eyes. "I was actually wondering if um-" he lowered his voice, "If Lilah got the part of Eliza?"

He could hear the small smile in her voice, "Yeah I just told her. She's screaming so much I think the landlord might kick us out-"

"You told her before me?" he asked dramatically.

"Yes..."

"This is totally favoritism isn't it? You like her better than me."

"Well not if she keeps screaming," Sydney muttered.

"Wait when does filming start?" he asked.

"Um...in two days you have a screen with Downey and Evans, then the week after that is the first day of filming. Before the screen test is the chemistry test with Lilah, even though I told them you guys didn't need one," she said.

Tom's eyebrows pulled together, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing," she said quickly. "See you in a few days!"

Then she hung up.

⋆·˚ ༘ *🗡* ༘˚·⋆

Two days later, Lilah was in the car with Sydney, driving to the screen test. The latter was quite scared of Lilah's driving skills, because she wasn't very good. Also, her finger were trembling a little, making Sydney slightly concerned.

"Are you nervous or something?" she questioned.

"Yeah no shit!" she squealed, her voice high pitched.

Sydney put her hands up in the air, "Geez, it's not that big a deal."

"It's kind of a big deal," she scowled at her. "Robert Downey Junior? Chris Evans?"

"Met them before," Sydney waved a hand. "Nice guys, they'll love you." Before Lilah could try and retort, she continued. "And that's a few hours away, you'll have some time to prepare beforehand."

Lilah could hear the small bit of amusement in her voice.

"What's with the smirk?"

"What smirk?"

"You've got a thing on your face," she squinted her eyes, "You're up to something. I can sense it."

Sydney put a hand on her shoulder and smiled, "See! You're already getting into character. Now drive."

Lilah rolled her eyes and resumed her focus on the road.

When they got to the studio, Sydney stayed in the car because she had to deal with her other clients for a bit. So Lilah was on her own.

With her new script, which wasn't all redacted, she shuffled into the building, her black converse occasionally squeaking and echoing in the hallways. The woman at the front desk told her to go down the hall, and to a door on her left.

Inside that door was a room that wasn't really a room at all, it was more like a warehouse. The walls, floor, and very high ceilings were all made out of concrete, making her wonder what would happen if there was an earthquake. She shuddered, rolling her neck and closing her eyes for a second.

Before she could even assess the situation, two female voices came running over to her, giggling with excitement. Her eyes snapped open to find Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen coming at her with open arms.

Many things went through her mind at the moment, one to punch both of them in the face out of instinct, but she didn't do that. Another one was to scream, but she chose to put her hands tat at her sides and basically become a stick.

Elizabeths arms went around her torso, Scarletts's surrounding both of them. They were still giggling a bit, until Elizabeth spoke up.

"You're Lilah right?"

Lilah nodded as they retreated from the hug.

Scarlett said, "Good. That would've been pretty weird if you weren't."

Elizabeth chuckled, "We're pretty excited to have you here. If you could tell."

"Yeah, not a lot of other girls around here."

"Unless you count Paul," Elizabeth pointed out. Both of them laughed for a while.

Lilah just stood there, essentially paralyzed by the presence of the two beautiful women in front of her. Neither of them were in costume, just lounging around. Someone from a few feet away started snickering, trying to cover it up with a cough.

Her eyes drifted over to the person, and became even wider, if that was possible.

"Tom?" she smiled.

"Hey Lilah," he grinned back.

"No way, you got the part too? Congrats man!" she said excitedly, inching closer to where he sat on a random couch.

Elizabeth and Scarlett glanced at each other. "You know him already?"

"Yeah-" Lilah started, turning around to face them. Again she was hit with the realization that two of her favorite actresses were standing literally two feet from her. Her eyes went wide once more, and she froze.

Scarlett looked past her shoulder to Tom, "Is she normally like this?"

"I would assume so," he chuckled.

"Okay well we're just gonna go..." she trailed off, patting her on the shoulder and slowly backing up.

"It was really nice to meet you!" Elizabeth gave her another quick hug and ran after Scarlett. Lilah blinked. Tom got up off his spot on the couch and walked over to her.

"Hey you good?" he asked, scanning her features. All that was there was shock. Tom reached to touch her arm, but she jumped and took a step back. He raised his eyebrows in question.

She blinked again. "Did you see that?!? Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen were literally right in front of me!!"

"Yeah and you basically became an upright stick," Tom laughed.

She hit him on the arm lightly. "Shut up man."

"Whatever, I still like you," he nudged her with his elbow.

"Eh, we're still at the point in our relationship where we're not really sure what the history of mental illnesses are in our families...so don't get cocky kid," she said.

He started to laugh just as Sydney came jogging onto the set, on the phone and with dozens of clipboards in her arms. She covered the speaker and whisper yelled at them, "Robert's arriving in a few minutes, so go stand by Freya and wait."

She pointed to a girl standing by an open overhead door, looking like she was waiting for something to happen outside.

Tom and Lilah sauntered over to were she stood with her arms crossed, and scanned the lot outside.

"Hi, I'm Freya," she said, sticking a hand out for them to shake. They did, introducing themselves as well. Freya explained that she was the stunt coordinator for this movie, and most of the other upcoming Marvel movies.

Lilah noted her outfit, the way she held herself up, and came to the conclusion that she was very confident and knew what she was doing.

The sound of a helicopter flying filled their ears, and they looked up at the sky. The vehicle landed, and Tom and Lilah were led into a room for their screen test. Both of them were insanely nervous, and just stood there awkwardly.

Tom spotted a man on the other side of the room, who was walking towards them. His eyes widened to the size of balloons. He repetitively slapped Lilah's arm to get her attention focused on the man.

"What is wrong with you?" she whisper yelled.

With a shaky hand, he pointed at the man. Lilah debated whether or not to tell him that it wasn't actually who he thought it was.

"omygod," he breathed, fanning himself with his hands, "iTsrobeRtdOwnEyjUniOr!!!!"

Lilah snorted, having to cover her mouth to hide her snickering. Tom didn't even notice, he just kept on talking to Glenn, Robert's stunt double.

While he was fangirling, Lilah watched as Robert Downey Jr. walked into the screen testing room, Chris Evans right behind.

Her lips parted and she breathed, "Holy shit."

Tom swirled around to look at her, wondering what was wrong. He followed her gaze to see two of the most beautiful men he had ever seen, talking to the Russo Brothers.

Him and Lilah were led to meet both of them by Sydney, who had to basically shove them over, making Lilah trip. Tom then cackled, because he was a good friend.

Following their meeting, Anthony and Joe wanted to start the screen tests. During which both Tom and Lilah displayed their amazing physicality and acting talents. Everyone was impressed, especially after the pair each did backflips to showcase more of their broad skills.

Afterwards, Lilah pulled Tom to the side, near the snack table.

"Dude I knew you had to be pretty good to get this role, but how are you so talented? I mean the accent and everything," she said, chuckling a bit.

Tom raised his eye brows, laughing, "Me? Where did you even learn to do a backflip like that?"

She flipped her hair in a sarcastic fashion, "It's called teaching yourself to do things at three am when you're bored." He was about to ask her why she was even up in the middle of the night, but she added, "Although I do think I should've stretched-"

Someone laughed from behind them, making them turn to see who it was. There he stood, the left boob grab man himself, Chris Evans.

"You're pretty funny kid," he said.

"T-thank you?"

He raised his eyebrows, smiling. "The rest of the cast is going out to lunch, do you guys maybe wanna come?" Tom and Lilah glanced at each other. "Mackie and Sebastian will be there, but they're not really that important."

"Ma-Mackie like Anthony Mackie?" Lilah asked. "And Sebastian like Sebastian Stan?"

"The chubby dumpling? Yeah."

"So what does that make you?" a voice asked from beside them. Lilah identified the voice as Sebastian. "A dorito?"

"Yes. Yes it does," Chris said proudly.

Sebastian turned to Lilah, "A literal five year old this one. Anyways, you guys coming?"

Lilah didn't answer, she just stood there, her mouth hug open. Tom instead answered, "Yes. We are. And she's gonna be totally calm about it."

She gulped and nodded, still peering up at the men who were six inches taller than her.

"Yeahyeahyeah I'm cool," she nodded again, putting her hands in her jean pockets. "Coolcoolcool."

Chris and Sebastian laughed at her sudden casualness, then strutted away. She turned to Tom, who had an amused look on her face.

Lilah rolled her eyes, "Shut up."

He put his hands up in defense, "I didn't say anything!"

Tom had to drive Lilah to the restaurant because Sydney had stolen her car to go back to the apartment. Sydney had been Tom's agent since he was around fourteen years old, so they went back a bit.

During the car ride, Lilah was almost completely silent, save for when she had to point out a road work ahead sign. And when she asked Tom, "So how's driving on the right side of the road for once?"

Tom snorted, "It's fine. Although I forgot my tea kettle in the trunk." He smirked a little.

"Do you seriously have a tea kettle in your trunk?"

"No," he laughed. "No I don't."

Tom figured that because the restaurant was a very small place, that the cast had chosen it for privacy. Almost everyone else was there when they got there, so they just walked over to the table. They sat next to each other, although Lilah was also forced to sit next to Elizabeth, which made her want to slide down underneath the table and disappear forever. She was just so beautiful, it was overpowering.

Paul Rudd was also at the table, sitting in front of Tom. He figured that because he was there, it meant Ant-Man would be in the new movie.

Lilah was trying her best not to blurt out random references to everyone's movies, that they most likely wouldn't get.

When they got their food, Tom asked Lilah why she wasn't eating any of it. She gave him a half smile.

"I have to wait for Robert to eat first," she said, as if he would have any clue what she was up to. She scratched the back of her neck. "Um- well, I'm being cautious to make sure my food isn't poisoned and someone's try to kill me."

Tom sighed, tilting his head, "Why in the world would someone try to poison you."

Everyone at the table was starting to slowly drift out of their conversations and listen in on theirs.

"Well there are many people out in the world that could try and kill me right now. Especially now that I have this job. There were plenty of people at that audition that were glaring at me like I was a house fly that could be crushed under their foot," she said. "And also that waiter looked a little sketchy. He was sneezing in the back kitchen, I could hear it."

Everyone at the table glanced at each other weirdly. It was Paul who said, "Makes sense. The kid's got a point." He put down his fork and folded his hands in his lap.

"But why wait for Robert to eat first?" Chris asked.

Lilah's face heated up under all their attention. She stuttered, "I-I mean no one is going to try and poison Robert Downey Junior, they'd probably be shot on sight," she chuckled nervously.

Robert nodded, "Well she's probably right about that."

"Also I was reading a book and the main character always had to wait until the master drank the wine first, in fear of there being a toxicant inside. Turns out there was, and she basically saved herself from dying," Lilah said. "It also helped that she was a badass and paranoid assassin, which meant she was always cautious."

Plenty of the cast was still looking at her like she was insane. Paul just looked really interested, there was a big smile on his face.

Sebastian, who's food hadn't come yet, tried to change the subject. "What is taking so long?"

Lilah muttered, "Title of your sex tape."

It took a second, but everyone at the table bursted out laughing. Even Anthony's shoulder were shaking as he chuckled. After lunch, which thankfully was not poisoned, everyone gave her their phone numbers. Sydney would definitely be proud that she had more contacts now.

On the car ride back to set, Tom said, "Hey I don't have your phone number yet."

"You're right," she countered.

"Can I have it?"

"No it's mine."
