the mcountdown stage shines brightly today~ 34 stars will be gracing it's stage for the first time.

let's take one last look at the final rehearsal.

（MENTOR CAM）

JIMIN (DANCE MENTOR): They all improved so much... I'm so proud of them- am I allowed to say that?

BAEKHYUN (VOCAL MENTOR): I don't see why not when it's true...

HYOLYN (VOCAL MENTOR): Wah... A class shines so brightly up there... like stars!

AMBER (RAP MENTOR): Are you sure they're like stars... maybe the song is just starting to get to you...

（ONSTAGE）

a class gets their own rising platform, with the three aces having spotlights for their solo lines.

that's right- the aces get solo lines, did you forget?

MOONBYUL (RAP MENTOR): Let's take it from the top- we need to test the lighting again!

the intro plays, and xi chen has the first line of verse one. the spotlight illuminates her, choosing her out of the other trainees.

MIYAZAKI YUMI (JYP / F): Seeing all the A class girls in that platform... I'll admit I was jealous. I could have been there...

HWANG JINAE (PLEDIS / F): Honestly i'm kind of ashamed to be in F class... we don't even get to stand on the stage with the rest of the girls.

GISELLE AHN (SM / F): As a long time member of F class... it hurts, but i just know i need to work harder. Being jealous or ashamed isn't going to get me a higher rank, or get the national producers to like me.

MOONBYUL (RAP MENTOR): C class! Look alive- this is your last rehearsal, I know you're tired but you still have the performance to film!

AMBER (RAP MENTOR): B Class... we already worked on this. It's left, then right. You're all going in different directions...

HYOLYN (VOCAL MENTOR): See the way A class is doing it... do it like that.

（INTERVIEW）

LEE MIAH (SOMU / D): The whole time during rehearsal it was just "a class this.. a class that..."

JEONG YUNHA (KQ / B): I don't know what's wrong with us... we practiced for hours...

JIMIN (DANCE MENTOR): Don't be so harsh on them... It's nerve wracking to be on this stage. I'm sure you all remember your first stages?

BAEKHYUN (VOCAL MENTOR): That doesn't give them any excuse to slack though. The only reason we got to perform a debut stage was because we worked for it.

TAEMIN (NAT. REP.): The votes varied across the board, but there was a clear winner.

（INTERVIEW）

SON MARA (CUBE / ACE): I'm voting for my labelmate KIM AREUM~ her energy and personality will make all the national producers swoon, she's so cute!

LEE SOJUNG (FNC / A): Maybe i'm a little biased but CAROL LAI is a literal visual and will shine as center

HUANG CHUNHUA (SM / C): I'm voting for SATO MINAKO, we were in D class together before she moved up to a class. I think she has shown her potential and deserves the position!

LEE HYENA (YUEHUA / B): You already know i voted for JANG HYEJIN, girlie moved up to ACE level, she deserves it!

XIYEON (NAT. REP.): The votes are in! Let's reveal the top six candidates...

MOMO (DANCE MENTOR): Her confidence has grown so much...

JIMIN (DANCE MENTOR): Everyone performed really well... I'm proud of them all.

（THE NEXT DAY）

XIYEON (NAT. REP.): How was your debut performance?

a chorus of 'awesomes' and 'so cools' can be heard from the trainees. 

TAEMIN (NAT. REP.): Well the work has only just begun! Are you ready for your next mission?

XIYEON (NAT. REP.): It's group battle time!

（INTERVIEW）

MOON HYORI (PLEDIS / C): Group battles are really important in getting popularity early on... I wonder who the "avenger" team will be this time.

（END INTERVIEW）

TAEMIN (NAT. REP.): The theme of the performances will be rookies vs. veterans!

XIYEON (NAT. REP.): Meaning one group will be performing a song from a rookie group against a song from a veteran group. 

TAEMIN (NAT. REP.): We'll let you choose your own teams this time. The top six trainees in a and ace class will get to choose their teams!

XIYEON (NAT. REP.): As our first center, Sato Minako will have the honor of choosing her first team mate.
