"Harvey!" Nina used the broom to hit the ceiling, echoing into her daughters floors. "You gonna come down to eat?"

"Mom, i'm in a headspace!" she called in return, the sound of her obnoxious type writer snapping getting louder.

"Well, maybe you can escape your headspace to fuel your body with grilled cheese and tomato soup?" her question made the house fall silent, thumping of feet following soon after as Harvest came down the stairs. "Oh, look. I had no clue you still lived with us."

"Don't think i've seen you for a week." Kinsey mocked from the kitchen. "I was sliding pizza slices under your door for the rats, I thought."

"You're not funny." the redhead mocked, her waves pulled up in a very VERY sloppy bun that clearly hadn't been fixed in days. "It's my career."

"Can I read your draft yet?" Bode sighed as he sat down.

"No, I don't let anyone read my drafts before it's perfected." she sat down with a deep inhale. "I'm getting separation anxiety from my type writer."

"If you're not gonna let me read the draft then how am I suppose to design the cover?" Kinsey rose her eyebrows while picking up her spoon. "You gave me nothing to work with."

"Nothing to work with?" Harvest gave her a dumb look. "What part of 'spin off to Key House where the final girl finds a way to kill her bullshit ex boyfriend who just wanted to get close to her best friend' is so hard to understand?"

Bode had to laugh. Kinsey gave her the same crazy look. "I can't even begin to make a cover out of that."

"Well, then my stick figures will have to do." she shrugged, pulling the grilled cheese apart.

"I think almost all the prep work for the weddings finally done, and- Oh, I wanted to show you guys something." Nina stood up, dropping her fork as she walked toward the kitchen counter. She returned with a medium sized snow glob in her hand. "I never noticed this before. It fell off the bookshelf in the winter study. Isn't it cool?"

"Looks like Kinseys head." Harvest mocked her sister, getting a mocking look back.

"I think there might be something magical about it." Nina smiled at the trio.

"You also thought that about the record player." Kinsey pointed out.

"And the weird old squirrel figurines." Bode added.

"And when my hair was 'glowing' in the sunlight." Harvest put quotations around her words. "You know, a normal Mom would ask if I was doing drugs in order to stay awake for so many nights, not if I was using magic."

"Okay, okay, fair, but look." Nina defended herself with a slight raise of her hands. "Key house is in it. Why would someone make a snow globe with their house in it if it wasn't?"

"But, it doesn't have a key hole." Bode examined the entire thing in hopes of finding one.

"Maybe, and just hear me out, maybe it's just a very cool antique snow globe." Kinsey suggested with a raise of her dark eyebrows. Nina cracked a small grin, taking the snow glob back to the counter.

"You hear anything from Tyler?" she looked over after glancing out the window.

"He ignored my 8-ball and cup pong." Harvest rolled her eyes. "I'm in need some good competition for a change."

"Well, yesterday, he liked one of my texts, so we can assume he's still alive." Kinsey shrugged her shoulders in the slightest. Bode frowned, Harvest pretended it didn't bother her.

"Well, good." Nina seemed like it physically hurt her to say it.

"That's good?" Kinsey gave a look of disbelief. "Guess the bars even lower then I thought."

"Maybe something magical happened." Harvest joked, but no one found it funny.

The redhead woman walked back over. "He wanted time on his own. We have to respect that. When he's ready, i'm sure he'll start communicating more. In the mean time, we just need to carry on with our own thing."

"It's been two months since he left." Bode winced, making the table go quiet. "Kinda figured he'd be back already."

"Yeah." Kinsey mumbled. "But, we've been having a lot of fun on our own, right? I mean, how is it not fun sliding pizza under Harveys door and listening to her scream at her typewriter?"

"Yeah, because I love to be woken up at four im the morning to random yelling." Bode gave a harsh side glare at his sister, her hands rose in surrender.

"I say we're doing pretty great. I mean, Dodge is gone." Kinsey made Harvest stop chewing, looking up. "Harvey gets to write about wanting to murder him so her fans can get a sequel. We haven't heard anything from Eden. Things are finally kind of normal."

Harvest fought the urge to leave. Things were going back to normal, but mentally nothing had. Writing had been the only thing that kept her sane. When she wasn't writing, she was constantly looking over her shoulder, watching everyone in fear of them lying to her and being someone else. She didn't sleep much, even with her pills, because Dodge and Gabe haunted her dreams and reminded her of how stupid she'd been for not seeing it sooner.

It hadn't just been her feeling that way, Logan was in a much similar boat. After the accident, things were rough. Over time, they had gotten better, but he didn't get much sleep either. Most of the time he avoided having to meet new people in fear of them dating his best friend then trying to kill him. He'd been listening to music a lot, it was his own little antidote.

The phone rang.

Nina stood up, pulling it from the cord. "Hello?"

Harvest turned when she felt her Moms stare on her. She frowned her eyebrows in confusing, Nina pulled back. "Have you heard from Logan?"

He escaped and left randomly a lot lately, but it didn't stop her panic each time. He wasn't the only one that was struggling from PTSD from the wreck, Harvest went into a state of pure panic when she wasn't sure where he'd been. Most of the time, unless they let each other know the other had been okay, she lived in a state of fear as the memory of her holding his limb body replayed in her head.

Logan's eyes opened up when he heard the familiar motor. He turned his head, looking over as a mop of red hair fell from inside of the helmet as it came off. He pulled his ear buds out when she walked over. "That was a dramatic entrance."

"What's your problem?" she huffed, throwing her jacket at him. "I told you to stop disappearing!"

"I didn't disappear." Logan defended himself with wide eyes. "I left a note."

"You did? Where?" she flopped down next to him. "Because your Dads didn't see it."

He glanced back at his truck. "I left it in my truck thinking I was gonna walk. But then..."

"But then..." she mocked him with a half grin. "Let me guess....leg cramp?"

"Fatigue." he corrected her with a point. "What the hell is happening to your hair right now?"

"Oh, you dig it?" she nodded as some of the waves bounced. "This is zero brushes after a full week. A new trend i'm trying to start, how am I doing?"

"Oh, i'm completely inspired. 10/10." Logan cracked her a smile as they shared a small laugh. "Sorry for taking off."

"It's okay." she lied, crossing her legs. "Why are you sitting on a cliff?"

"I don't know, it's kinda pretty." he admitted, leaning back on his hands. "Being so high up makes me feel...I don't know."

"Like an airplane." Harvest confirmed.

"Sure." Logan agreed, holding his ear bud out. "Want the other?"

"Another zodiac sign podcast?" she pushed the bud into her ear. "I stand corrected.... The Black Keys."

Logan gave her a tiny smile. "You look like you were punched in both eyes."

"Oh, you too." she nodded in return. "Any sleep?"

"No." he admitted to her. "You?"

"I think I fell asleep while peeing this morning." she gave him a smile. "That's an upgrade."

"I'm so proud of you." he faked a gasp and clapped his hands together. "My Dads say I should try to listen to music while sleeping, since that's what's good for me when i'm awake. But...how would you write while asleep?"

"I'll figure it out eventually." she shrugged her shoulders. "I think you should try your music sleeping. I bet you'll dream about meeting the Black Keys and Conan Grey."

Logan inhaled. "I do love Conan Grey."

He didn't say how most of his songs reminded him of her, and that's why he loved him so much.

They were quiet, shoulder to shoulder, over looking the cliff that had nothing but water under. "Hey."

"Hey." he looked over.

"I have to go shopping." Harvest exhaled. "For the wedding."

"Right, me too." he agreed with her. "But....all those people."

"Don't wanna deal with them." Harvest agreed, raising an eyebrow. "So..."

"So.." he trailed off, a half grin going across his lips. "Anywhere key?"

She reached around her neck and held it up. "Anywhere key."
