also i hope everyone knows that the answer to the dumb question, "why does everything has to be gay?" is because i want it to be, and i enjoy writing gay characters who are gay just because and don't experience trauma for being gay. if ur argument is "well, the 80s or atla universe are homophobic" my answer is i don't care, let the lgbt community have soft rep that isn't rooted in trauma or homophobia. i don't care if it's not "realistic", we deserve to have fluffy, soft, happy stories too
