LATER THAT EVENING

Megara was eating dinner with Charlie in his room while his two dogs, Bear and Lenny sat at the foot of Charlie's bed begging for food.

"They always do this?" Megara giggled, breaking apart her pizza crust, looking over to Charlie.

Charlie nodded, chuckling as he looked over to Megara "Just ignore them."

Megara finished her pizza, wiping her hands on her napkin. Charlie grabbed her plate, placing it on his.

"Char, you don't have to do that." Megara giggled, biting her lip.

Charlie kissed her head, smiling softly before leaving his room "I want to."

Megara nodded, waiting for Charlie to return. Bear and Lenny jumped on the bed, snuggling into Megara. Megara chuckled, rubbing Lenny's belly and kissing his little head. Lenny relaxed under Megara's rubs.

"Hey, Meg, wanna get some ice cream with me?" Charlie leaned against the doorframe with a hopeful grin.

Megara sat up, nodding. Both dogs whimpered and wagged their tails as Charlie and Megara put their shoes on. Charlie shushed them, ushering them both out of his room. Megara chuckled quietly as the two left his house to his car. Charlie opened the door with a grin on his face. How sweet.

"Milady." Charlie said, his voice deeper for the effect.

Megara stroked his cheek, smiling softly "Kind sir."

Charlie chuckled as he watched Megara get in the passenger seat. Megara put on her seatbelt as Charlie gently closed the door. Charlie jogged to the other side of the car, getting in.

Megara chuckled, biting her lip "Thank you for doing this."

Charlie started his car with a smile, biting his lip "Don't worry about it. I wanna do this."

Megara held her hand out for him. Charlie chuckled softly, lacing their fingers together.

MEGARA AND CHARLIE Sat on his bed, while eating their ice cream cones. Charlie nudged her, noticing the sad look on her face.

"Sorry, just someone commented about Maddie." Megara finished her ice cream cone, while turning her head to Charlie.

Charlie sighed, biting his lip "I broke up with her. It just wasn't working."

Megara squeezed his bicep, snuggling him "I'm sorry."

Charlie planted a kiss on her head, rubbing her back "Don't worry about it, princess."

Megara closed her eyes before falling asleep in his arms. Charlie kissed her cheek before falling asleep with his arm wrapped around Megara.
