    Genesis' POV (Point of view)

"How can this be?" I heard Daniel mumbled to himself, but I pretended like I couldn't hear him. Within seconds, Daniel snatched the results from my hands. "What is this?" He growled, making me look at him with curious gaze.

"The results," The Doctor said dryly. "Well, I wasn't the one to perform the test. The doctor who was supposed to perform the test, fell sick yesterday and couldn't make it. The head, informed me quickly this morning and said I should cover Doctor Tayo's shift."

"Give me the result son," Dad said to Daniel. With the corner of my eyes, I could see the stranger looking at us with curious eyes.

"What's going on son?" The woman asked me. She walked towards me and tried to touch my shoulders, but I took a step back.

"Don't touch me," I spat at her.

"Son....."

"The result is negative," Daniel said, looking at her in a way I couldn't comprehend. "It's stated here, that both of you don't share the same DNA."

"W-What?" She stuttered as she started moving backwards.

"Panda, get a hold of her!" Dad ordered in a harsh tone. In a swift motion, Panda got hold of her wrist and held it tight.

"I-I can explain Sir," The woman begged.

"You can explain?" I growled at her. "Explain what exactly? That you pretended to be my mother? For what, to have properties? What exactly?!" I yelled. I was really furious right now and could break anyone that tries to stop me from beating up this woman.

"Calm down son," Dad said in a calm tone, as he held my shoulder. "What's your name?" The question was directed to the woman. Dad voice was calm but it held authority. She dare not disobey him by not answering his questions.

"Anita, Sir." The woman said has she trembled in Panda's grip.

"Anita w___"

"Father," Daniel interrupted Dad's questions, "I believe the police will do a better job in interrogating her."

"Good idea," Dad nodded.

"Then I'll go out and call the police Father," Daniel left the doctors office. I looked at the woman. If eyes could kill, she would have been six feet under ground.

Daniel walked into the doctor's office, "The police are outside, let's take her to them."

That was fast?

Panda, forcefully dragged Anita out, as we all followed from behind.

"Good evening Sir," A police officer said as we walked out of the hospital building.

"Good day Sergeant...."

"Timothy Sir," The Sergeant helped dad with his name.

"Sergeant Timothy," Dad nodded. "I want you to hold her in your custody. Interrogate her until she speaks out the truth. Remember, the truth."

"Yes Sir, boys!" Timothy called out his men, "Take her."  The men got hold of her and dragged her to a red Camry car.

Weird, why didn't they bring their police car?

"We will get back to you Sir," Sergeant Timothy said. Within seconds, they were out of the hospital premises.

"Come on son," Dad said, smiling at me. "Let's go home."

I released a sigh of relief, as we walked into the living room. This was home.

"Genesis!" I heard someone squealed. I turned to see Itoro, running towards my direction.

"I'll leave you," Dad said to me and then turned to Daniel. "Come on Daniel." Dad gestured to Daniel as they both left the living room.

Itoro stood in front of me, a smile plastered on her face.

"How was it?" She asked with curious eyes. I looked at her with amused gaze. God she looked so cute. "Genesis?" I shook my head, bringing myself back to reality.

"It was," I cleared my throat as I watched Itoro as she waited impatiently for my answer. "Negative."  I couldn't stop myself from smiling at her, "That lady was an imposter."

"Really?" She clapped her hands in excitement, "I feel like hug - nothing." She quickly cleared her throat, "I should go__"

"Itoro," I called her before she could leave, "You can hug me."

Itoro's eyes grew wide. "Really?"

"Really." I nodded my head as she immediately gave me a bear hug.

How can a girl so tiny, hug so tight?

"Genny you're__" A voice interrupted us. Itoro quickly let go of me as we both turned to see Atinuke, looking at us with wide eyes. "___Back?"

Her anger flared up as she looked at Itoro, "What are you___!" Atinuke was interrupted as the front door flew open. Musa came rushing in.

"P-Police are outside Sir, they are requesting to see Oga, Sir."

"Police?" I creased my brows, "Let them in." Musa nodded before running out of the living room.

We all sat at the living room, Dad, at his usual seat, Daniel and I were seated beside him. Even Itoro, Atinuke and Musa, stood at the dining area, witnessing everything.

"Officer," Dad began. "How may we help you?"

"I am Sergeant Okolo, Sir." Sergeant Okolo introduced himself.

"Alright," Dad nodded, "But how may we help you?"

Sergeant Okolo, directed his gaze to Daniel. "Your son, Daniel, called our station this evening. He informed us about an imposter at God's will private hospital. We went over there and the doctors told us that the woman was taking by some police men."

"True," Daniel voiced out. "By some of your men."

"I'm sorry Sir, but those men were not from our station. We just had a report that a woman was found dead in the bushes, across the road. Can you come with us to the car and identify her body?" Dad nodded. All of us, including Atinuke, Itoro and Musa, followed the police man.

Now that's a police car.

We all stood in front of a black Hilux car, that had the word 'POLICE' imprinted on it. One of the police officers that were standing outside, opened the white body bag. And behold, Anita laid lifeless with her eyes closed.

"That's the lady!" Itoro voiced out.

"We know, we ain't blind." I said in an irritated manner. The police officer zipped the body bag as Sergeant Okolo, turned to face Dad.

"May we go in?"

We were all seated once more in the living room.

"What's going on?" Daniel asked as we sat down.

"Well," Sergeant Okolo, cleared his throat. "The police officers you met today, were armed men."

"But they were all wearing your uniform!" Daniel snapped, making me to look at him.

"Calm down. Once again, you ain't the one in the middle of this situation." I looked at the Sergeant, "They had a Camry car, I found it odd earlier."

Sergeant Okolo leaned forward, "Did they show you any badge, Mr Valentine?"

"No," Dad simply answered. Sergeant Okolo nodded.

"Well, uniforms can be forged. My guess is that, the culprit was scared that Miss Anita, will reveal the whole truth. So they planned her death before hand.

"He said his name was Sergeant Timothy!" Daniel snapped, making me to glare at him.

"I believe he gave you his wrong name. He isn't stupid to give you his real identity." Sergeant Okolo deadpanned.

"So we are back from the scratch?" Itoro asked the officer.

Who would try to plan my downfall?
