It's been a week since he last saw shraddha. Though many times he called her which she ofcourse didn't attend but never got the courage to go to her home and face her.

To him, it felt like his life was going backwards again. To the time where he was all alone, where there was no one to brush his tears off. Like the time he spent in the boarding school, where he had to wait months to see his parent's face.

It was all over his childhood again. People he love was leaving him, like they didn't want him in his life anymore just like his parents and those fake friends.

These were the things which made him a cruel and heartless person. He got the meaning of life after so long and this time he didn't want to lose it. Because he was afraid, afraid of the dark which was yet again embracing him in its depth.

"Varun... Varun?" Kartik called him out, snapping him out of the trance.

"Y-eah... Sorry I just got zoned out!" he said rubbing away the tears from his eyes.

"Ive been asking you about the card designs but you get distracted every single time." he complained.

Apart from the rift between him and Shraddha, a lot has happened in this week. Kartik and Sara finally decided on the wedding date and now the preparations were on full swing. Although shraddha isn't with varun anymore, she had still made sure to help Sara prepare for her big day.

"Sorry bro, actually I have a lot of things on my plate right now... I just..." his voice started cracking.

"Bro, you know you can share anything with me. I'm here to listen." he assured him.

"Kartik.... I miss her!" he broke down into tears. Kartik shifted from his place and started rubbing his back to console him.

"Why does she have to be so fucking stubborn? You know how I'm when it comes to emotions.... I've never felt like this before!" he told him.

"I don't know what to say varun... But you guys should talk. Like a serious talk, face to face. Without any ego and anger." kartik advised.

"That is the main problem kartik. No matter how hard I try, I just can't express anything... Why can't she just see what I feel for her?" he cried, burying his head in his hands.

"You know I've never seen you cry like this. The last time you did was when your parents died. This is some serious shit varun. Go get her before it's too late." kartik told her and he looked at him.

It was almost 9'O clock when she reached home after a tiring day at the office. She reached the door and tried to unlock it only to find it already unlocked.

With a frown on her forehead, she entered the house and closed the door behind her. Her bedroom light was on which made her shocked and afraid at the same time.

She entered her bedroom with trembling feet and found all of the things in place, incase there was a robbery. Her gaze fell on the site table where a bouquet of white roses was placed.

Tears immediately formed in her eyes as she took it in her arms and caressed it with her fingers. These white roses are my symbol of respect for you! His words rang in her mind as a silent tear escaped her eye.

"I still thought it was inappropriate to bring red roses." his voice startled her. She turn around and saw him leaning against the door.

"Hi!" he greeted her with a smile as he moved towards her.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, keeping the roses aside.

"I don't know." he pressed his lips in a thin line.

"But I know one thing for sure that I'm not leaving." he told her and she shook her head.

"You need to leave. I'm not under your contract anymore." she tried to walk past him but he stood in front of her.

"I don't care about the fucking contract! I'm here because I want to!" he raised his voice slightly.

"Why? Why do you want to be here?" she crossed her arms on her chest.

"Because..." he trailed off.

"Because what? See... You've no answer because of how fucking messed up you are!" she yelled.

"Then fix me." he barely whispered and she looked at him.

"Fix me. I know it's a lot to ask but.... help me clean up this mess please." he pleaded.

"How can I? With all these bruises, with all these scars... How can I?" she said with tears in her eyes.

"I know you can't see them. But these bruises can only be felt, not seen. Cause they are not on your body but on your soul. You just can't fucking see them. And you're asking me to fix you? Who's gonna heal me?" she cried.

"Let me heal you. Allow me." he held her hands gently.

"We are both broken in different ways. Let's fix each other. I don't know about you but... I can't do this all without you. Rhea needs you. I need you!" he told her as he gently caressed her face, wiping the tears away.

"Let me heal those bruises, please!" he said with moist eyes.

"What if it don't work out? What if I end up getting more bruises?" she asked.

"Thats not gonna happen and if it does, then I'm again gonna heal them all." he told her and embrace her in a tight hug. She hugged him back, wrapping her hands around his mid section.

"Wait... I've something for you." he said handing her an envelope.

"What's this?" she asked.

"The papers of this house. Ms. Shraddha kapoor you're again the rightful owner of this house." he told her with a smile and she looked at him with wide eyes.

"You transferred this house on my name?" she asked and he nodded. She set the papers on the bed and again hugged him.

"Thank you so much!!!" she said as soon as she separated herself from him.

"I love you!" he confessed. She looked at him shocked, not believing what she just heard.

"What did you just..."

"I'm in love with you. Have been for a while now." he said cupping her face between both of his hands.

"And I'm in love with you!" she confessed with a small smile. He smiled back before connecting his lips with hers in sweet and passionate kiss.
