Joy:

We're thrown out the room guilt and remorse pooled in as we walked down the stairs.

Why did we even say that?

Because you both felt entitled to rule your sister's love life. Bliss remarked silently.

"How can you girls be so self centered?"

We looked downstairs to see all our servants, siblings, and parents looking at us in shock, disappointment and anger. Mom shakes her head in exasperation.

"Why would you do such a thing?" Most likely they heard the loud conversation from upstairs.

I tried to explain. "We.. we said it out of anger." Even though I said that it didn't seem plausible for an excuse.

Brian rolls his eyes.

"Fine. Let's say you girls did say it out of anger. Did you truly think that was appropriate?"

Lovely hugs herself and whispers.

"We didn't mean to lash out. We were just mad she accepted the apology of one of the people who did us wrong."

"....What authority?"

I look up at dad seeing him giving us a cold expression.

"What?"

"What authority was given to you girls to question your sister's judgement?!"

We shrunk in fear knowing we are going to be punished. Winter whispers at us in the silent room.

"You girls should be punished for your choices especially for that incident in school yesterday."

Aunt Kacy looks at us confused.

"What did the girls do?"

Amera answers for us.

" Joy, and Lovely wore crop tops and cut jeans to school. Even though we knew it was not allowed."

Uncle James slams his hand on the table.

"You girls are reckless and so irresponsible! You girls are only 12/14! All of you will be punis-"

Slam! Crash!

We run upstairs to Kiara's room to see things are thrown on the floor and her window broken. Coco screams out Kiara's name in fear.

"KIARA!"

4 Hours Later in Dad's Office( Lake):

"Let me know when you've found my daughter. Thank you. Good night."

Dad puts his phone down and turns to the girls. Shaking his head he sighs.

"Amera, Lovely, and Joy will have their clothes picked out by Winter and will have their electronics taken away. No car and studying will be the only thing you do after school."

Then he turned to the twins.

"For your disobedience and ungratefulness towards your eldest sister you both are punished with independence. You both will get a job, if they don't have jobs for 12 year olds then I suggest you make one! You will have to prepare your own breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Do the chores in the house, and all while balancing school duties and training! You also have to buy your own house and living necessities. We will give you sleeping bags and provide you food to last a week but you will be protected. You only bring 3 pairs of clothing the rest you have to buy from your own money.You say your sister never did anything for you girls?! Heh! Try doing the work she did for the past 6 years! You girls have 3 weeks to make 600,000 dollars! This much will be equivalent to the 6 years your sister had broken her neck to make. Your time startsss NOW!"

As the servants send the girls out of the room Jamal puts his head in his hands.

"What do we do now?"

Sunflower sighs.

"We continue training and searching for Kiara until she comes back. She's strong enough to fight for herself."

Silias nods in agreement then looks around the room.

"Do you think Coco will be fine?"

I shake my head.

"Kiara is the first friend Coconut has ever had. But all the girls have a soul link with each other. They will know if one of them is dead or alive. Remember they have their necklaces and tattoos."

Winter nods while fiddling with her necklace.

"She'll be alright. We'll be alright."

Brian looks nervous though.

"... do you truly think she'll be fine? Remember Harper gets rampant and so does River."

Dad shakes his head.

"You children shouldn't be worrying about these things. Just be prepared for training and protect the twins. Even though they did wrong.. they are still part of this family. And they are still my daughters."

We nod in agreement and go to our rooms. Looking at a picture of us at the waterpark 2 years ago I chuckle. Our parents wanted us to have sibling bonding time with each other and it was me and Kiara's turn.

"Lake! I'll race you to the biggest water slide!"

I nod and laugh.

"The loser has to do what the other tells them too!"

Kiara puffs out her chest and raises her chin.

"Fine! You're on!"

Pushing me out the way she runs ahead of me. Quickly getting up I beat her too. Laughing, I point in her face.

"Haha I Won!"

She pouts in anger.

"You cheated!"

I roll my eyes.

"You were the one who pushed me!"

"You never said it wasn't allowed!"

"Doesn't matter now you have to do what I tell you to do!"

She huffs in annoyance.

"What do you want me to do then?"

"I want... you to hug me and say I'm the best brother in the world!"

She cringes and slowly hugs me.

"I.. think you're the best brother in the world!"

I shake my head.

"You have to say it like you mean it and hug me like you love me. Yell it for the world to hear!"

She rolls her eyes.

"Fine! I think you're the best brother in the world!"

I fake cringe.

"Why you gotta be so damn loud bruh! Tryna fuck up my ear drums?!"

She punches me in the shoulder. Remind you we are still waiting in line for our turn on the water slide. Causing me to bump in to the person next to me.

"Watch it!"

I turn around to the lady.

"I'm sorry we were just playing."

Then I turn to Kiara.

"Tryna make me the scapegoat? This is supposed to be brother and sister bonding time. Not fuck up the brother then be the innocent sister!"

She laughs and gives a megawatt beautiful smile.

"You're so damn dramatic! I don't say shit when you flirt around with other girls while I'm standing next to you. Tryna send me to an early grave by all the glares I get."

I poke her shoulder and point to her bikini and the boys looking at her.

"Sooo you're not tryna snag a man while you're here?"

She rolls her eyes and gives a sad smile.

"I don't want one anytime soon. Not after.. that. Even without that I got scars in my body."

I shrug at the sound of her cringing at her scars and trace the one on her shoulder to her neck.

"These scars represent how strong you are."

Then I point to those boys again.

"And they know it too. Maybe that's why they look like they tryna figure a way to come up to you!"

Cackling she gives me another hug catching me by surprise. I then hear her muffle voice.

"...I love you Lake."

I smile in content. I love my sister Sunflower but it's nice to have another sister who is also able to understand me just like her.

"I love you too Kiara."

I then look around seeing it's our turn to go in the slide. I push tap Kiara on the shoulder and point to the line. Rolling my eyes I run and yell at her from across my shoulder.

"Last one who slides down the slide has to clean the toilets!"

"Hey! You went ahead of me!"

"You never said it wasn't allowed!"

With stress pouring in I felt Leon whimper.

"Sis please come back."
