Bound to the Twin Hybrids EDITED!!
Coby:
"Why so giddy?"I asked my brother who locks the room door and sits on his bed with a smile on his face.
"Nothing much. How's your day."
I raised a brow at his question. "How's my day? At a time like this he asks that?
"Kadin do you hear yourself?"
He shrugged. "Your day must've sucked then."
"And yours didn't?"
A small smile slipped on his face. "No. Not really." He then turns to me. "I met her... again."
"And?"
"She said she was happy." A smile continued to bloom on his face.
A sour feeling spread in my heart knowing their relationship has slightly improved. But still, it's nice to see him happy after all these years.
But good news is she forgives us!"
"You sure?"
A sheepish smile spread on his face."Well... I don't know really. I hope so? I really really hope so..." He said the last sentence to himself. Which led my to the conclusion he's optimistic.
I continued to look at him with doubt. I don't think she'll forgive the people who tormented her childhood so easily. Before we can continue this topic Riley pops her head through the door.
"Come eat dinner."
I roll my eyes and look at Kadin.
"Let's go."
As we leave the room I mindlink Kadin.
"We should have a conversation with Riley soon."
"OkY. After dinner we will talk to her."
As we sit down and the food is served we eat silently. My father then sits his newspaper down and glares at me and Kadin.
"Why did I find out you are planning on rejecting Keva?"
Kadin looks at me with surprise but tries to quickly hide a smile.
"Your father is talking to you two!"
I roll my eyes.
"Since when has he been a father? Or you a mother?"
My mom looks shocked as I never talked to her this way.
"Coby Miles! Who gave you permission to speak to us that way!"
"Why should we have your permission to speak our minds." He gazed at her annoyedly. "You only treat me, Coby, and Riley as objects with your so-called love. You let Riley dress anyway she wants-
Kadin then points to Riley and then our mom.
"What mother lets her daughter date or sleep with multiple people and never express her concern? You both failed us honestly."
Riley groans annoyed .
"I'm old enough to take care of myself! I don't need your fake concern."
I raise my voice.
"You do need our concern. Keva doesn't care much about you and you know this."
She gave me a glare. "So what? And supposedly you do? Since when?"
"We care for you more than the mates who should've."
She then looks at us with shock, hurt and anger. She then angrily leaves the table and runs into her room. I groaned.
Shit I shouldn't have said that..
"You boys are ruining this family and your lives with the mates you choo-
Kadin stood up from the table as he spoke to our father.
"We mate with whoever we want. Don't worry about us. Worry about your wife and how she should have been a better mother and you a better father."
He left the kitchen and I followed behind him as we left the house..
"Riley." He sighed as he looked up at the night sky. "We owe her alot."
I nod.
"About Riley.. I think we better wait on that one."
He smiled lightly.
"One problem at a time brother."

Kiara:
"Ugh I wonder whats for lunch." I yawned lazily as I opened my locker.
A note fell out causing whispers in the hallway. I roll my eyes. I forgot there is still gossip about me after the other supernatural students found out I have powers. I picked up the note and almost roll my eyes to the back of my sockets.
𝓜𝓮𝓮𝓽 𝓶𝓮 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓶𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓸𝔀.
-𝓚𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓷
He really is a persistent thing isn't he?
I frosted the note and turned lazily to the other students.
"Go away or you'll become like this note!"
As everyone scurries off to class I go to the girls bathroom and teleport to the meadow.
"What do you want Kadin?"
Kadin jumps. "Are you trying to kill me woman?"
"You'll be really dead in a minute if you don't tell me why I'm here." I said as I held an dark dagger in my hand.
"Remember when we were kids-
Oh no.
"and we used to go out to the meadow-
Here it comes.
"and grab different flowers and see which one was bigger than the other?"
There it is.
"Really. You didn't actually bring me out here for this did you?"
He slowly nodded. "Yea."
I rolled my eyes. "I'm leaving."
"Wait!" I eerily look at the hand grabbing my wrist. "Let go Kadin... or I'll frost you!"
He quickly let go of my wrist. "Listen I didn't...I have to clear up this misunderstanding."
I looked at him confused. "What misunderstanding?"
"I didn't mean to reject you."
I scoff. "Bullshit! You meant every word that came out of your mouth!"
He shook his head feverishly."I didn't!"
"Really?" I leaned against the tree and gestured for him to continue sarcastically. "How so?"
"Remember how growing up we'd play alot with Cody-
"Cut to the chase Kadin!"
"That thing." He gestured to his brain. "Cody does that little hypnosis thing when things don't go his way."
I caught on quickly. "So you are telling me... Cody used Faze to manipulate what you said?"
"Yes."
"That doesn't change anything." I pressed my finger against his chest harshly. "You hurt me. Whether intentional or not! It came out of your mouth!"
"But I didn't mean it!!" He grabbed my finger and continued. "I geniunely wanted...want to be with you."
As he held my finger realization dawns. "It makes sense now." I look at the ground fustratedly. "No wonder why the mate bond didn't immediately break down." I mumbled to myself.
"What do you mean?" He asks curiously. I sighed and motioned him to come closer. When he does so I grabbed his wrist. "When you break off the mate bond you aren't supposed to feel any sparks. Yet when I'm with you I still feel them." I gently touched around his wrist. As the familiar electric current pulse through my veins.
It wasn't particularly strong as it once was but it seemed to slowly be mending itself. It was a cooling feeling that constant made me want to crave this touch and the pine scent that came from him. I looked into his green eyes and prepared myself to let go of his wrist turning away from him.
"You must've not meant it. I think it'll end up mending itself again if we wait too long. We should try the rejecting the bond one more ti-"
A tug on my wrist and the sharp electrical current made me stop midway in what I was going to say. Kadin looked into my eyes and smiled softly. "Okay. Let's try it again."
I felt a small sense of loss seeing that my mate was dedicated in rejecting the bond even if he didn't do it right the first time. But still it'll make things much more easier instead of me carrying this weight of attraction.
"I Kadin Miles reject the rejection bond and accept Kiara Storm as my mate."
The familiar electric pull started to accelerate as his hand held my wrist. I felt the bond flush rapidly through through body until I could clearly feel the strong emotional bond between me and Kadin. My senses felt sharper and my mind felt clearer.
This is how the full bond feels? It's been so long since I felt it.
A small kiss implanted itself on my cheek bringing myself out of my thoughts.
"Kadin... what the hell did you do?"
He stared at me for a moment until realization settled in and guilt starting pouring through his eyes.
"I didn't mean to I was just- I was thinking that-" He groaned fustratedly. "Ahh shit!"
"You restored the bond! That's the total opposite of what i told you to do!"
"I know!"
"It was literally not that hard!"
"I know!"
"It was simple left and right baby steps!"
"I KNOW!"
"THEN WHY'D YOU DO IT?!"
He struggled to answer before he answered honestly.
"I thought that...if I restored the bond it'll be something we both want instead of before."
He saw my silence and continued to ask. "Do you want this?"
I looked at him bedroom answering honestly. "I don't know."
He nodded. "That makes sense." He then looked me in the eyes. "Do you... hate it?"
I slowly shook my head. "No."
He again nodded before slowly walking up to me and nervously asking. "Can I touch you?"
I looked into his eyes and nodded. "Yea."
He gently touched my hands, wrists, arms, shoulders, to gingerly cupping me cheeks and staring into my eyes. Each touch sent sparks up and through my body making me and my counterparts sigh in comfort.
"It feels so peaceful." Oceans soft voice flew through my brain.
Yes. It does.
I held his wrists as he cupped my face and stared into my eyes.
"You know I don't know if it's too late to tell you this but-
I gave him a light smile. "Too late to tell me what?"
A small smile bloomed onto his face. At that moment I felt as
"You are beautiful."
At that moment I felt something stir in my heart as I remembered an old memory.
"Kiara!!"
5 year old Kiara rolled her eyes as she stared at the 7 year old boy who was tripping on his feet.
"Why arth yu running idot?!"
Kadin finally caught his breath and grabbed something out from his pants. Seeing Kiara waiting paitently made him become more embarrassed as he quickly rummaged his pants to find the flower. When he did he he killed with Joy as he pulled it out of his pants roughly. When he held it though remorse filled his eyes.
"It's broken." He whimpered as half of the petals started crumbled and the stem broken.
Kiara with a lisp stared at it curiously. "Wht ith that?"
"A flower. I wanted to give it to you but now it's broken."
Kiara stared at the broken yellow flower puzzled. "Why giv thith to me?"
A 7 year old Kadin beamed brightly with his toothless two back teeth.
"Because you are beautiful."
"You are beautiful."
I groaned as I sat in the bathtub as the shower water continued to hit my body. A blush formed on my cheeks.
"Asshole. He's still not in my good books."
