I woke up as I watched the night fill the sky with a smile on my face. Even If my body was still sore from over working and the bandages my wounds were healing pretty fine. Finally, maybe I'll have a mate who'll love me. Looking to the side seeing the girls still asleep, I went to take care of my daily business. Afterwards I went into the closet and put on my birthday outfit.

(Outfits for Lovely and Joy in heading. Bottom picture is new outfit for Kiara. Remember, Kiara still broke in her family's eyes. She can't flash her money around or anything.. So she can't have much of an outgoing birthday outfit, more of a simple one.😊).

"Hey, it's time to get ready for school now."

I whispered as I shook my little sisters awake. Yawning I watched as they rubbed their eyes and hugged my tightly, whispering softly.

"Happy birthday sis!"

They placed a few small kisses on my cheeks whichever I smiled in response.

"Thank you. Now you girls go and get ready now I have your outfits out for you. After come downstairs so you can eat breakfast first."

Watching them nod they ran into the bathroom to shower.

They rush into the bathroom to do their daily business while I checked the time. It's 6:00 AM. Which gives me enough time to make breakfast for the girls and everyone else making sure no one sees them. I turned to the body mirror and looked at myself. Slowly touching my face I gave a small smile. For the first time 6years I felt beautiful. I felt my brown ski. Wasn't so dull, my black curly hair wasn't called nappy, my blue eyes weren't freakish. I just saw beauty. Another look at my figure and I was really satisfied with it. Snapping out of my thoughts, I make a note for the girls telling them I'm going to make breakfast. Going downstairs with my backpack I went to the kitchen to make the pack's breakfast, when I'm in the kitchen I make eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes,waffles, french toast, and cinnamon rolls. I'm really in a good mood today so I'll be generous just this once. After making the food I put it into the oven, got 2 plates ready for the girls and watched them eat while I cleaned the kitchen. After they ate glanced at the clothes that I gave them and I gotta say, they looked gorgeous on the girls.

I glanced at at clock and softly shoved the girls upstairs.

"It's 7:00, get your bags go back downstairs and wait for me outside the packhouse."

They agreed and went to go get their bags and wait outside as I feed everyone. After I rang the bell everyone came downstairs, and just like every other day the taunting and the disrespect never changed. Figured much. Keva came downstairs next to the Alpha family with a set of hickeys on her neck ong with snitches on her skull and bandage on her nose. I secretly smiled at the sight.

Don't chew off more than you can swallow hun.

As the Alpha family come downstairs I smelled the most delicious smell. It was a blend of different scents that was so intoxicating. One smelt like cinnamon and chocolate, while the other one smelt like evergreen and pine. It was such an intoxicating smell that I closed my eyes and inhaled sharply.

"Damn."

I heard a mumble. Opening my eyes to see Kadin staring at me along with Cody. Both looked at me with an unreadable expression that made me uncomfortable and turned away. Feeling embarrassed and confused my heart started pounding harshly as I couldn't stop myself from looking at them throughout the whole breakfast. It's embarrassing, I've never saw them in this way before,, but now it's just so- different. After the meal I quickly grabbed my things without looking in their eyes and left to walk my sisters to their school. As I walked out the pack house to see my sisters talking and sitting on a wooden bench. I walked up to them as I see them stand up and grab my hand, then I started walking them to school.

"Bye sis! Have a great day at school!!"

Lovely yells out.

"And happy birthdayy!!"

Joy adds on as they head into the building.

After I drop the girls off to the elementary I started walking to the high school more conflicted then I've ever been in my life. The thoughts and feelings that are growing rapidly In just the spand of an hour. This is driving me insane. The thought of being with them makes my heart pound, but rationally I know that its such such slim possibility. But there's hope. Right?

I shivered as I walked past a few students. A gaze was on me and I didn't even know where its from as I walked into the building. I looked around constantly, but that feeling persisted and I didn't see those pair of eyes.

"Let me just hurry my ass into this class."

I said softly as I frustrated ran my fingers through my curls.

As I was walking past the janitor's closet the door slowly creaked open. And before I could react I was suddenly felt a shift in the air and my body being pulled inside. Franctially I looked around the dark room as the door closed shut behind me.

"We're over here."

Cody's voice made me turn around from the supplies as I was trying to find a flashlight or at least the light.

"Don't touch it. Then they'll open the door and find us."

Kadin continued after his brother as he leaned on the wall studing me.

"Why am I in here?"

"You are our mate."

Cody says bluntly. His tone had always been so annoying since kids. Don't even know how I used to put up with that shit.

"Yes... yes I am."

I said as I gazed up at him. Cody walked up towards me and as each step he took I step further and further away from him until I unknowngly landed into a chest. Kadin held my body towards him firmly as Cody finally stood above me.. looking up into his eyes I saw many emotions swirl through them. Each making my heart beat rapidly. I think I saw lust, desire, love, affection and many more but whatever it was, I enjoyed the feeling.

Cody's eyes gazed into mines firmly as he ran his hand over my cheek.

"You..."

Slowly leaning down he placed a soft kiss on my lips. At that moment I felt my heart explode. My hand was placed over his as I pulled him closer. A was kicked into me as i felt lips slowly trail down my neck. Nipping and latching onto my neck as I felt Kadin's hands slowly move over my stomach.

Cody pulled on my bottom lip and I whimpered softly as he pulled away.

I heard a chuckle ad Kadin's voice flowed through my ears.

"Don't need to whine. We're right here."

His soft lips fell over mine as I moaned softly. My heart beaten heavily in my chest as Cody trailed his lips down my neck.

"Why?..."

I heard Cody mumble under his breath as he nipped at my chest softly. I had a feeling by the time he was done a hickey will be there.

Kadin ran his hand up and down my arm softly.

"It's your birthday right?"

I slowly nodded as I looked into his green eyes.

"I-I didn't think you'd remember."

Kadin nipped at my ear.

"I never forgot it... since we were kids I've never forgot any thing about you."

A soft blush filled my face as Cody ran his fingers through my curls.

"We should give our mate a present then."

Cody mumbled absentmindedly. Another soft kiss was placed on my lips making me smile softly.

"Cody, what are we?"

I looked into his eyes with a smile which slowly fell as I saw the emotions in his eyes. Anger, hatred,disgust, loathing, replaced those sweet emotions I saw earlier. A bad feeling stared pouring into my stomach.

"Cody?"

I slowly touched his cheek which he flung off.

"Keva is our mate."

Those words seemed to set off my irritation.

"But I'm your mate! She's you chosen!! That's not the same!!"

"She'll be our Luna."

"You choose her!! When you have a mate right here!!"

"We'll marry her and she'll have our heirs-"

"CODY!!"

The last sentence made me snap as I slapped his face.

"What the hell is your problem?! Do you even love her?!"

His face was turned from me as he whispered.

"Yes."

My heart shattered.

"You're lying!!"

Now my bad feeling in my stomach started becoming more unsettling. Kadin slowly let me go and backed away as Cody opened the door.

"W-wait!"

Cody pushed me gently out the janitors closet making me stumble into the nearby group behind me. Falling on the floor me and everyone watched the brothers leave the closet after me.

"I, Cody Miles Reject Kiara Storm as my mate and Luna."

Kadin stared at me blankly.

"I, Kadin Miles Reject Kiara Storm as my mate and Luna."

Laughter fell around me. Many pointed and laugh, mocking me in disdain. But I didn't care as the pain of the rejection started to hurt and ache in my heart. It spilled through my body like an electrical current and I felt as of I was going to explode in pain. Steps walked up towards me. Through my tears I looked up and felt a hot stinging pain on my face. Keva stood above me as her red heels were impeded into my palms.

"We are cousins!! Yet you dared try and take my mates?! Just like your dead momma!! Always taking shit that don't belong to her!! No wonder ha de-

I punched that bitch dead in the face. Her nose cracked, again as I heard it crunch. As she stumbled back I grabbed her face and smashed it onto my left knee. Now I know her nose should be hella damaged and take at least 8 months to swell down, even with a wolf. I dropped her ass to the floor and watched as she fell unconscious. Her and her parents aren't shit. My momma and daddy name stay in they mouth but I bet you if they were alive they wouldn't be saying all that shit to they face. And my brother's stay letting them disrespect our parents like you need to put they ass in they place!! But they ain't got to, my parents may not be able to defend themselves but I sure will defend them on life!!

I grabbed my backpack and turned to my mates. Well, ex mated you may say now. My tears made me laugh as I wiped my face. Laughing softly I pointed to the unconscious Keva on the floor as I walked up to Cody.

"That's your Luna? You are gonna need a babysitter then. Cause the bitch will need someone to wiped her spoiled ass."

I gave them another smile. " I Kiara Storm, Daughter of Teri'sha and Bryson Storm accept the rejection of Coby/Kadin Miles." I said firmly with my head held high. Mother raised a queen, and my crown wasn't made to fall.

Kadin tried to touch my shoulder but I flung him away.

"Don't touch me. It's disgusting."

Kadin flinched as I said those words. But I didn't care, he stood there and didn't even defend me nor did he say anything. He just rejected me along with his brother.

As I left I walked past my brothers who were standing outside the building watching the scene.

"Kiara you-

"Don't say my name."

I glared at Jordan with hate filled eyes.

"For now on. We are no longer blood!!"

"Kiara! Don't say that he's your broth-

"SHUT UP TREY!! You both don't deserve to be our brothers!!"

I yelled at Trey furiously as tears fell down my face.

"Now move... besides, Keva is more important to you than us anyway."

I walked past the 2 and run towards the elementary school and see see girls at recess playing by themselves. None of the other kids wanted wanted be around them, well that changes now.

"Why are you here Kiara? Aren't you supposed to be in class?"

"The Alpha told me to hurry and make a special dinner tonight for the pack and I need the girls to help me with the groceries."

The teacher looked at me with scorn but sighed.

"Don't bring these damn girls back then."

I gave her a sarcastic smile as i grabbed their bags.

"Trust me I won't."

Without waiting for her response I grab the girls and run to the empty pack house. I frantically started packing the bags. This is the only time I will be ever able to run away with the girls. If they find out it will be horrible outcome for us.

"What's wrong and why are you packing our bags?"

"We can't stay here anymore. If we stay there will be more beatings, more tauntings, more unfair treatment that's waiting for us. And I'm not going to sit around waiting for the day they start laying your hands on you. Because God help me I'll massacre this whole pack with just a machete alone!!"

"But-

I hand Lovely a bag and look her in the eyes.

I will NEVER FORGIVE MYSELF IF THERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PROTECT YOU GUYS AND FOR YOU TO LIVE so please START PACKING BEFORE THEY COME BACK OR THEY WILL KILL US!!"

They looked shocked knowing that I've never yelled at them before but knowing the importance of the situation, without another word they start packing. I don't have a wolf to protect them and knowing knowing the fact what I'm doing is practically a death sentence. I can't wait for them to wrap their claws around our throats, we have a chance and I'm damn sure gonna take it. When we were done packing I passed by a few papers left by Aunt Meria in the attic. I smiled grabbing a pencil I started writing.

Dear pack

By the empty empty plates and groceries me and my sisters are gone. The constant mental, physical, and emotional abuse was draining. You can't call the pack a family when you then go on to place your hands on a child. All for nothing but breathing and fighting for survival. The abuse you put me through never bothered me. I mean, emotions never was a strong part in my growing up anyway. But the emotional abuse of two children... you bitches really sick in the head to think I'll ever sit and except that any longer. My brothers can kiss my ass, they ain't shit and ain't done shit for us. My Aunt and her family can kiss my ass because they never been shit. And my ex mates? No words to describe you. We've known each other since kids. We were once everything to each other... when did you start hating me so much? I guess that'd a question I'll never know the answer too. Goodluck with your future with Keva. Hope she's everything you've wanted. Enjoy the burnt chicken in the oven.

As I prepared with the girls to take the bags downstairs I heard the front door creak open. Fear and panic poured into my heart as I turned to the girls who had their packpacks filled. I shush them as I placed them inside a built in hidden space I made years ago. Just incase of a fire, flood, or any case like this.

"Hide I here with the bags. If I don't come back by midnight I need you to grab your things and run away. There's food to last, almost 50 grand in 2 big zip bags, and don't wait for me!"

Tears strwmed down their eyes as Joy tried to speak.

"B-

I locked the cubby before they could say any more. Quickly I slowly left the attic and walked down the stairs. With a bat in my hand I prepared for whoever appeared until I saw a man with glasses appear around the corner. With the bat in my hand I gazed at him sharply.

"Who the hell are you and why are you here?!"

The maj held his hands up along with a few documents in his hand.

"Today is your parents 7th death anniversary. It was said in their will to give you girls their inheritance the time you turn 17."

I pointed to the couch.

"Sit down and give me the documents."

He handed me the documents and as I read them he asked me a question.

"Why are you upset?"

I gave him a sarcastic smile.

"Well, if you were to be abused physically for the past 7 years. Having everyone hating you because you couldn't shift and blamed for your parents death. Along with having both your mates Reject you would you be upset?"

He coughed and stopped asking questions. I hate when people ask me things so stupid.

"Where are the adoption papers?"

I asked firmly. I called him yesterday to come over to give me the adoption papers along with the will because I thought my mate will run away with me and my sisters to a new place. Obviously that's only a dream but that doesn't mean I stopping it because of a man. Imma take my sisters and live happily in a new place, and I specifically told him to bring the adoption papers!!

He took them out his bag.

"I brought them, but you are only 17. You can't adopt children since you're a year younger."

"If I'm old enough to accept my parents will I'm old enough to legally adopt my parents children! So pass me those damn papers and let me sign them!!"

I took them from him and signed the papers. After signing them I handed them pack to him.

"Anything else I need to sign?"

"If you are leaving I need prove of the bad conditions you lived in."

I rolled my eyes eyes walked him up towards the attic. Opening it I showed him my room.

"How's the room? Doesn't it look real peachy?"

I sarcastically said as I sat on the floor and watched him examine the room.

He finally sighs and give in.

"Alright you can take the kids but be sure to protect them, they look like they deserve a good life."

I rubbed my temples as I saw his face shift as he noticed how his words came out.

"I-i

"Can you just leave please?"

He nodded as I followed him out the attic and downstairs.

"One more thing, along with your 40 grand your parents have you a vehicle they left in their will for you. It's in front of the house."

I closed the door after he left and ran upstairs to my sisters. After letting them out the cubby I grabbed the bags and hurriedly ran outside with the girls to find the minivan. I threw the bags in the trunk and helped the girls into the backseat, turning on the car I hurriedly started the engine and started driving off. After a while of driving I noticed something following the car in the woods. Hurriedly I stopped the car and got out.

"Stay in the car don't leave at all!"
I said to the girls as I left the car. Whatever was following me was strange. It seemed familiar but different at the same time. As I searched for a while I saw a nearby cave covered around bushes.

"Why have you been following me!!"

I knew it was there. I could smell it. My werewolf senses was smelling the scent into the cave as it was sharply strong.

GRRROWL!

The growl didn't scare me. It just made me roll my eyes internally. I knew it was a werewolf, a coward who dared follow me but wouldn't even let me see its face.

"Whoever you are stay away from me!! I don't want no problems and I want to keep it that way. We both don't want to see the outcome."

After one more glance at the dark cave I hurriedly ran back towards the car. After getting in I drove off the pack border feeling the link rip off my body.

"Finally, some peace."
