โฐโโค Sitting on the benches the redhead felt the cold breeze hit her pale skin. No one was sitting on the benches, making the place more peaceful and quiet. Hermione tried to relax till the players didn't come on the field. They will probably come screaming ruining her peace.
She closed her eyes for a second. The girl loved being outside. She loved how the cold weather felt on her skin-tickling her and making her nose turn red. Winter in Beacon Hills never had snow, so it was just like fall. It was rainy and cold, and the leaves were rustling.
"Come on, Hermione! Stop playing that witchy stuff and start paying attention to the practice!" The young girl opened her eyes being met by the coach's eyes staring at her. The players just got on the field as she sighed. Her peace is over.
"Coach you know me!" Hermione found the coach funny even if he can get on her nerves sometimes. It's probably because he uses stupid phrases to make jokes. That isn't even funny, but students laugh at the way he says it.
They lined up. Danny was a goalie, Jackson had a long stick and other players had to go through him to give a goal. Hermione comes to watch these when she's bored and doesn't have anywhere else to be.
It was Scott's turn now and he fell. Failing to do anything. Hermione sighed hearing what the coach said to him. It was something about how his dead grandmother could run faster than Scott. Which made him start breathing fast and losing control. The girl put her nails in her mouth nervous if something would happen.
"McCall's gonna do it again!" The coach yelled making everyone step away, for the boy to try again. This time he didn't miss. Indeed, he knocked Jackson to the floor. However, he immediately started grabbing his head, like he was feeling some kind of pain.
Hermione got up from her seat and started running toward Scott and Stiles. She knew what was happening. Scott was turning. Lacrosse is making him lose his control and he needs to stop playing it, otherwise, he'll hurt someone.
While the two dragged their best friend to the locker rooms, Hermione looked to their right. Seeing Derek standing there, staring at them. She felt weird by the say he had that serious look on his face. She finally broke eye contact when they got inside. That was pretty creepy. That dude is everywhere.
Scott broke down to the floor and Stiles tried to reassure him by putting hands on his shoulders. "Get away from me!" Scott looked up revealing his yellow eyes and fangs. Hermione grabbed Stiles by his hands and threw him out of the locker room.
"Hey! Don't lock me out of here!" Stiles ponded on the doors after Hermione locked them door. She wanted him to be safe. He's a human after all. Looking behind her she saw that Scott was now standing in his full werewolf form. Hermione stratched her neck and smiled.
"Come on, Scott! Let's dance!" After a few seconds, Scott tried to come and attack the girl.
Hermione did a spell so she could stop him from hurting her. In a matter of seconds, Scott got back to his normal form. He didn't have those fangs or yellow eyes. They were brown now, looking at her confusingly.
Hermione opened up the doors to the locker room, to which Stiles immediately walked in the room. "What happened?"
"You tried to kill us. Luckily I stopped you with my magic. Scott, I don't think this sport is really good for you." Hermione sat down next to her best friend. Explaining what has happened in the past few minutes.
"But I'm the first line."
"Not anymore."

Gilmore Girls was playing on a big screen in the living room. Rory was at her grandparent's house for dinner telling them how she got into the new private school. The redhead had a bowl of popcorn lying on her lap. After she started the new series, the girl always binge-watched season one in one night and then slowly started watching less and less of the other seasons. It's purely because she doesn't have much time to do so.
Suddenly a tall frame showed up next to the sofa. Hermione looked up to reveal her dad. With his nurse uniform, again. The other day he covered for someone in the morning shift. Dean was holding the car keys in his right hand watching what Hermione turned on the Television.
"I haven't asked you yet, which is weird. How's school going so far?" Hermione popped popcorn in her mouth, grabbing the remote and pausing the series.
"I made a new friend. Allison Argent! She's new in town." Her dad's eyebrows shot up at the mention of the last name.
"An Argent? How interesting." Hermione frowned and glanced at her father. To which he just smiled wiggling the keys in his hands.
"Why is it interesting?" The girl asked curiously. She propped herself up a little bit.
"Nothing important. I had a friend that left Beacon Hills with the last name Argent." Hermione made a na 'o' shape with her mouth, now understanding what he meant. With that, the father started going towards the front doors.
"Please stop flirting with Katherine. She's not into you."
"You'll see! She'll be with me one day." Hermione sighed waving him goodbye. She may have said one day that he was immature and sexy, but Hermione knew who she liked. Same with Lola. It was a secret between the three of them.
After the front doors closed Hermione unpaused her series and continued to watch Gilmore Girls. She wasn't fond of her father flirting with Katherine or with women in general. Though she can't change that or the fact he can't be single forever.
Suddenly she got an invite to join a group face time with Stiles, Scott, and Lola. The girl paused the series one more time, feeling annoyed already. Clicking the accept button she was met by them talking about Jackson's injury.
"They are counting on Scott, but he can't play."
Scott scoffed and leaned on his chair so we could see the background in his bedroom now. She noticed a weird figure standing behind him so she squinted her eyes to have a better look. Lola and Stiles did the same. "Scott, beh-"
The blonde was trying to say something but she disconnected from the video call. Stiles and Hermione were frozen for Scott and were trying to tell him. Hermione was pointing behind, but Scott didn't get the sign's meaning. So Stiles somehow managed to write that someone was behind Scott. As soon as he did Scott was grabbed by the person and their connection ended immediately.

"So you see, you have to add a two in here to even these numbers."
Hermione was sitting in an empty library with Erica. The quiet girl who was always bullied or people didn't even notice her. The blonde had epilepsy which made students even more avoid her for some sick reason.
In the redhead's opinion, Erica is one of the nicest people she met. They have been hanging out since 7th grade and didn't once get into an argument. Which is weird, but they were looking out for each other.
Erica is one of the people Hermione trusts and knows her secret will be safe with the blonde. Erica promised that her secrets were going to the grave with her. It breaks Hermione's heart through the things people say about and to Erica. How they mistreat her and hurt her in so many ways. She tries to stand up for her in all situations, but sometimes she's not there to help.
They were in the town's library studying math. Well, Hermione was helping Erica to understand it better. Since an exam was coming up. There was not anyone except the girls and the librarian. Though she was on her phone, minding her business. Sadly, people don't come here. In Hermione's opinion, it's a nice place to study. She also loves to study in a coffee but with earphones.
"I think I get it now!"
"That's great, Erica! Here's one problem to see if you can solve it. If it's completely done right, you're ready for the exam!" Hermione smiled giving her the paper with the problem she prepared.
While waiting Hermione looked around the library, admiring how it looked. It was covered with wood and there were a couple of plants in between the bookshelf. Jt gave her warming and relaxing vibes, which she loves. Her favorite place was in the corner next to the window. There was a sofa with white pillows and a fluffy gray blanket, so you could read a book. It's not made for studying because you could easily get distracted. That's why Hermione always sits at the table when she comes to study here.
After a few minutes, Erica handed her work to the girl and smiled. It was a pretty hard subject for the blonde to catch up with. Especially since she has to go to appointments and therapists. It was a lot to keep up, but she will survive. Hermione nodded making Erica smile to know she had finally learned.
"Enough of school. How are you doing with magic and supernatural stuff?" Erica whispered so the Librarian wouldn't hear anything.
"Fine, I guess. I learned how to control it now so it's all good. I try not to kill someone, not joking. If I even accidentally push someone and they die, I'll turn into a werewolf." The teenagers were whispering the whole time they were talking about this topic.
"I always wish to become a werewolf or something like that. So I could feel powerful and...better."
"Trust me, Erica, you don't want to. When you once become something that completely changes you, there's no going back. Something that you will hardly control, that will maybe be the death of you. You feel like a monster because you hurt someone on accident. And when you hurt someone you don't think normally and feel guilt. So you want it all to stop and have a normal life, like everyone else...but you can't and that kills me. Erica, you are the perfect how you are. Just promise me something, okay? Do not ever become a werewolf."
Hermione held Erica's hands the whole time she was telling this. There was hope in Hermione's eyes. Hope that Erica will keep the promise and that she'll not ruin her life. Like Hermione, except she didn't have the choice and was born with that. The blonde locked eyes with her friend.
"I promise."
Hermione smiled feeling weight go off her heart. Erica was talking more the one time about how she thinks about becoming a werewolf. So the Saltzman girl had to convince her that it wasn't as good as it looked. It's worse. Hermione was scared to lose someone, again.
Suddenly, she got a message. It was Stiles. He wrote that they think Derek killed the girl in the woods and to meet them at the hospital. The girl sighed and smiled towards Erica.
"I have to go, Fred! See you tomorrow." Hermione waved going out of the library. Erica and Hermione shared the same interest in Harry Potter so they gave each other the nicknames. Fred and George, their favorite characters. Despite one of them dying.
This is not the case.

The group barged into the hospital looking for the Morgue. Scott and Lola will be going to look at the body, while Stiles and Hermione wait for them to come out and give them the news. They explained to Hermione that Scott went over to Derek's today and smelled blood. So now he wants to check if it's the same as the body in the woods.
"Stiles, I'm going to visit my dad real quick." He nodded going back to leaning on a wall for some reason. He could be weird sometimes. Hermione shook her head going towards the entry to the hospital.
From afar she could see her father sitting behind the pult, looking at the computer. Hermione chuckled because she knew that the man didn't like this job. Dean worked here because there wasn't another decent job in Beacon Hills anymore for him to work at. Let's say being a hunter and now stopping for a while caught up to him.
"How's work?" Dean flinched hearing someone hearing someone speak to him. The man looked up to see his daughter.
"Hermione! What are you doing here?" The redhead girl slightly smiled seeing how surprised he was. I mean, she doesn't usually visit. Because hospitals would be the last place she would visit. They give her a bad mood and energy whenever she's there.
"I came to visit for a few minutes! I-" Suddenly there was an alarm going off to which Dean immediately stood up.
"Sorry, can you cover for me? We have an emergency call." The man just started running towards the room where it was needed. Hermione just stared at him and sighed. She had to stay here now.
A few minutes passed and she started to walk towards somewhere. To which she didn't know where she was going. Hermione just stood up and started walking, not knowing why and how did she do that when she didn't want to.
The path was going towards the side part of the hospital, where patients were in a coma or something. There was a pause in front of some doors, they were already opened. Hermione had control of her body again.
So she looked around to see that no one was around. She was the only one in the hallway. Hermione frowned and took a look inside the room with the opened door.
It was a small space and it looked like every other hospital room. In the corner was placed a chair where the patient sat. He looked like he was in his late twenties or early thirties. One side of his face was burned and he was staring blankly in front of himself. There wasn't a word coming out of his mouth, but either way, something made Hermione step inside.
She was observing his looks. At some point, she swore they had similar features, but she brushed it off since she was probably going crazy. Tilting her head Hermione saw him move his hand, meaning he was able to move. The Saltzman girl felt like he knew him from somewhere, he was too familiar.
"Don't I know you from somewhere?" She built up the courage and started talking. The man moved a little bit, but slowly.
"No...I don't think so." He barely muttered, immediately closing his mouth. He was still staring at her. He found her familiar also but stayed quiet. Since he isn't in a condition to talk right now.
"No, I do. I definitely do." Hermione furrowed her eyebrows trying to find the memory that the man was in. But there was none. So the girl might have made a mistake.
"I'm sorry, I'll go now."

There were hundreds of people sitting on the bleachers. Most of them were from Beacon Hills, but a couple of others were from the other team. It was Saturday, a match day. Scott wasn't supposed to play, but he is. Which makes Hermione nervous. She already sees this going the wrong way.
In her row, were sitting all the people she knew. Well, she met Allison's dad today. Next to her was Allison and Lola. Dean went over to Chris, Allison's dad, to sit. Hermione guessed that was his old friend and let them hang out. Katherine was sitting next to them.
The blonde informed Hermione of everything that had happened last night since she wasn't there. They found the other half of the body buried in Derek's backyard. Police came in the morning to arrest him. Now he's in questioning and waiting to see if he did it or not.
Beacon Hills was now losing. Though Jackson came and gave a goal, so Lydia and Allison were holding a poster saying 'We love you, Jackson'. Hermione rolled her eyes and continued to look at the game.
Suddenly she heard Dean shaking his head and it looked like Chris was convincing him of something. Hermione hated to do it, but she made a spell so she could hear what they were saying. Closing her eyes the girl listened carefully.
"Come on, Dean! Come back to hunting. Help me find the alpha and defeat Derek." Allison's father stated.
"I don't know, man. I promised my daughter that I won't do it anymore." Hermione smiled.
"If you change your mind, call me. I need help." The redhead frowned and decided she will stop listening.
Suddenly everyone got up clapping, resulting in the game ending. Hermione clapped and whistled. Though Scott wasn't in her sight and Allison went after him probably. Hermione grabbed Lola's hands.
"We have to go to the locker room! He's probably there! Allison followed him." Lola nodded her head, them now sprinting towards the locker rooms. Stiles suddenly joined them, saying the same thing. But also he has news.
Hermione was scared that Scott would hurt Allison. It will be an accident, but he will never forgive himself. She doesn't want that to happen. Also, the brunette's father is a hunter. It's like Scott wants a death wish.
When the three came to the locker room, they saw Scott and Allison kissing. Hermione pulled them back, so they wouldn't interrupt them. When they both were over, Allison smiled at them and said hi.
When they came to Scott he was in shock still. Hermione chuckled while Lola scoffed. The blonde found him nerdy and weird sometimes. Though it's her type of making him annoyed and friend-bullying.
"I kissed her."
"We saw." Stiles nodded.
"She kissed me."
"We saw that too." Stiles once again added, trying not to laugh at how happy Scott looked.
"It's pretty good, huh?"
"I don't know how but I controlled it. I pulled it back. Maybe I can do this. Maybe it's not that bad." Hermione nodded glancing at Lola. Allison was probably Scott's anchor.
"Yeah. We should talk later then." Stiles stated making the three of them confused.
"What?"
"The medical examiner looked at the other half of the body."
"And?"
"I'll keep it simple. The Medical Examiner determines the killer of a girl to be an animal not human. Derek is human not animal. Derek not killer. Derek let out of jail."
Hermione gasped. "You're kidding me! He definitely did it! Well, from the stories you told me."
"No, and here's the bigger kick in the ass. My Dad ID'd the dead girl. Both halves. Her name was Laura Hale."
The three froze. Shocked at what they just heard. Hermione couldn't believe this.
"Derek's sister."
