I sat motionless at the back of my father's car, as we drove back home. Jeremiah thought it was best to explain everything to them in my own words. My eyes were blood shot and I could still feel the tear lines that were stuck on my cheeks. Seeing Judith's lifeless body being covered by a hospital white clothing, was something I never expected would happen in reality.
The gate man opened the gate as dad drove straight in. He parked at his usual spot and got down from his car. Dad moved over to the back, opened the door and held me tight like an egg. I knew Jeremiah had brilliantly explained things to them and pointed out things they've probably missed, to prove his point. But still, Jeremiah needed me to explain in my own words. Dad led me into the house, while mum followed slowly from behind. She was at the most shocked.
We finally got to the living room, and dad let me seat on one of the couches.
"You're not entitled to explain anything right away," Dad said softly as he sat close to mother. "If you need to sleep it in, then you can."
He was only acting this way towards me cause it had already occurred to him that I wasn't Tatiana the entire time.
I shook my head and forced myself to look at Dad. "It's alright," I still couldn't get the thought of Judith's death out of my head, but I needed to let my parents know the whole truth.
"It started with an invite Judith received." I began with a shaky breath as I mentioned Judith's name again. "I met Tatiana at the party Judith forced me to attend. I didn't believe she was real at first, cause I thought it was my brain playing tricks on me."
"Then in came the gifts from every which way. Turns out Tatiana was the one giving me those gifts all along." I explained to mom and dad. "Then she asked to meet me on a bridge, which I agreed on cause I needed to meet my mysterious benefactor."
My eyes slowly moved from mum, till it landed on dad. "She wanted to kill herself."
Guilt immediately flashed in dad's eyes, even I could see it. Mum tried to hold back her tears, which wasn't working much. "I mistakenly jumped into the waters instead of Tatiana, though I have the theory that Tatiana died while saving me."
Mum just couldn't hold back her tears any longer, as she gave out a loud wail. "I woke up in the hospital, with the sight of mum right in front of me. I couldn't say I wasn't T, cause her last wish was for me to act as her."
"I-I-I...." I tried to speak, but was held back by the sound of my own emotions trying to burst out. "I needed my best friend beside me, so I had to lie about encountering her. B-But now she's dead, gone. What the hell am I supposed say what happened her, to her parents!"
Mum rushed over to me, while dad followed after. Both hugged me, plastering me at the middle. I knew dad wasn't as strict and as tough as he wanted the world to see. He missed Tatiana and wanted her back, but he just doesn't know how to say it out In the open. He heard I was at the hospital. Though he yelled at the phone, he still rushed over to the hospital just to see what was going on. That act alone minus the yelling, showed he cared.
"Don't cry," Dad said soothingly. I was quite sure he was speaking to both mum and myself. "We'll figure things out."

It been two weeks since the death of my best friend. Though the time had flew by, doesn't mean I never stopped blaming myself over the death of Judith. The school had shifted the swimming competition a bit, in honour of Judith's death. Though the school authorities didn't know her much, it didn't dispute the fact that she was once a student of Blossom High, even though it was for a short period.
I woke up feeling a painful headache. I had been crying my eyes out all night. I ignored the pain and staggered over to the bathroom. The first thing I did was to wash my face at the sink, before hitting the shower.
I had finally decided to go back to school. I hadn't been to school after Judith's death. Omonigho, Irene, Jubilee, Dami and Jeremiah, would come by occasionally, just to spend time with me. While at night, I'll swipe through my phone gallery to check out Judith's and I funny and memorable pictures, which would result to me crying at the end of the day.
After having my bath, I walked out of the bathroom wrapped in T's pink fluffy towel. I did my usual routine, by getting hold of my uniform and putting them on. Looking at my horrible appearance once more, I grasped my backpack and head out of the room.
Climbing down the stairs, I noticed mum and dad having breakfast and some maids, staring right at me. Last week, mum and dad had informed the maids about who I really was. Them being stunned, was an understatement.
"Darling," Mum noticed as I approached the dinner table. "You really want to go back to school?"
I breathed out and sat In front of mum and beside dad. "It's fine. I'm fine."
"You look bad, Uyai." Dad pointed out, calling me by my real name for the first time. It felt really nice to hear them call me Uyai instead of Tatiana. "You can call today a sick day, and resume when you're way better."
I don't think I'll ever be better. I don't think I'll ever get over Judith's death.
"You don't have to pretend to be your sister even at school, I promise to see to that." Dad went on.
"You don't have to," I quickly said. "There are things needed to be uncovered. I need to be Tatiana."
Mum and dad stared at each other, feeling a bit confused. They eventually sighed when they knew I was being adamant with my decision, and gave up persuading me.
"Alright," Dad said with a heavy sigh. "Just be safe."
I nodded and ate breakfast quickly, so I wouldn't be late for school.

School seemed normal, That was if I'd do away with the deadly glares from the students, as I walked over to my class. Walking into the classroom, I saw Femi and Rosemary sitting at the front desk, as if patiently waiting for someone.
"If it isn't the murderer that have yet striked again," Rosemary smirked, as she noticed my arrival.
They thought I killed Judith? The thought of them even thinking that made my heart ache. "How could I have killed someone?" I felt the tears threatening to let loose.
"Oh stop the water works," Dismissed Rosemary. "You won't deceive any one with your crocodile tears, definitely not me."
"Stop the crap!" I heard Irene snap angrily, as she moved into the class. "She just lost someone important. At least, have a little respect for the dead."
"Yeah," Rosemary said as if Irene had hit the nail on the head. "She just killed her sister's best friend!"
"Rosemary!" This was the first time I had seen Jeremiah this angry. It was way worst than the time he almost had a fight with Jubilee. "Stop it!"
Rosemary for once kept quiet, as she stared up at Jeremiah. Jeremiah with Dami beside him, strode over to Rosemary and Femi.
"Come on boo," Rosemary said to Femi, while eyeing me badly. "Let's go."
Rosemary stomped out of the classroom with her boyfriend, while I used that opportunity to collapse on the floor, crying my eyes out. My friends moved towards me while Jeremiah squat beside me.
"What's happening to her?" Dami asked concerned.
"Hyperventilating," Jeremiah hugged me in place and whispered into my ear. "It's gonna be alright."
They led me to my seat, and Omonigho did the honors by letting Jeremiah take her spot in our desk. Jeremiah sat with me through out the class, just to make sure I was going to be alright.
Once class was over, we gathered at the love garden to figure things out.
"The stalker wanted you to be alone cause that stalker wanted to kill you. And the best theory you could think of is Happiness?" Omonigho asked in disbelief. It was nice letting them in on what was going on. They've been in the dark for so long and I felt bad lying to them. "Happiness isn't a killer."
"True," Irene said, nodding her head. "She was the sane person among Omonigho, T and myself."
"True," Omonigho continued from where Irene stopped, using Irene's choice of words. "She's intelligent, God loving, had good morals, even Jubilee found it fit to love her."
Jubilee nodded at Omonigho's last statement. "They are right, Uyai. Happiness isn't a killer."
"But she did write on her death note saying T, would pay. Right?" I reminded them of that tinie tiny little fact they were all missing. "What if she isn't dead? What if she's fulfilling that threat?"
Silence filled the air, even Jeremiah and Dami were short of words.
"Let's sleep this through," Advice Jeremiah, as he reached for my hands to help me up. "We'll discuss this later."

I stepped down from the car and moved over to the house. School wasn't easy for me. Though my friends helped stopped most of the glares thrown at me by students and few teachers, they just couldn't stop people from talking.
I stepped into the living room and spotted dad watching a football match and mum, resting on his lap.
"You guys are home early," I used that to announce my arrival.
"Uyai honey," Mother declared once she noticed me. "We came early so we could take care of you."
"And dad's down with it?" I asked, a little bit stunned at the change of heart.
"I'm definitely down with it," Dad answered, using my own choice of words. I smiled and pointed to the kitchen.
"I'll go get some water to drink," I said to them. "Be back in a sec."
I left them and moved over to the kitchen. I grasped a bottle of water from the fridge and poured it into a glass cup. Bringing the cup midway to my lips, dad's voice interrupted me.
"I thought you wanted to head over to the kitchen for a drink?" Dad said from the living room.
"I did," I yelled back so he could hear me. He must have thought I said something.
"And why change so quick?" He questioned again. I wasn't sure if he was on the phone or talking to mum. So I decided to confirm by myself. I placed the bottle cap back on and also placed the glass on the counter, before moving back to the living room. It wasn't like I was that thirsty to begin with.
"I'm still in my school uni___" I stopped midway, my jaw dropping slightly.
I watched as she smiled right at me, as I closed my mouth to gulped down the lump in my throat. "Hi Uyai."
Dad and mom moved their eyes from her's to mine, in utter disbelief and confusion. While I on the other hand, felt like I was dreaming. It was just too good to be true.
"Tatiana?"
Eddy : T is back?! How? When? Where had she been this whole time? Why did she have to come now and not earlier?!
Yeah I know, a lot are about to ask these questions. I would too if I wasn't the writer... Lol
