Judith and I got down from my car, after my driver dropped us at the school premises. Immediately Judith climbed down from the car, she gasped audibly and staggered forward a bit.
"Is this a school?!" She gasped at me, cutting me off. "I surprisingly don't want to go back home."
I paused my lips tightly, fighting the urge to scream 'I told you so' at her.
"You have not seen nothing yet!" I exclaimed, spreading my arms with enthusiasm. We began to move slowly towards the School's main building.
"They've got the basketball's court, a football field, a tennis court," Then I paused to think. "Though the tennis team doesn't have much players. Oh, they've also have a track for runners." I watched as Judith's eyes went wide, as she heard the last statement.
Judith was a great runner, though she hadn't ran on a track before. Judith had her very own practice tool, which was simple. Her boyfriends ex girlfriends.
She needed to run for her life when those devious addicted ex girlfriends of her previous boyfriends, try to attack her. Weird, yeah. But it did serve as a practice tool to her and she became great at running.
"An indoor pool," I kept on listing, as we walked into the building.
"Indoor pool?!" Judith gasped at me. "Girl, awesome!"
Reaching the stairs leading to the second floor, were the commercial class was located, I quickly spun around, to face Judith. "Guess what?" I waited for her to ask 'what?' but instead, she stared at me feeling bored.
I leaned over to her and whispered into her ear. "Tatiana is the captain of the female swim team."
Judith's eyes went wide, while her mouth formed an 'O' shape. "What?!"
Now she says it.
I shuddered a bit. "Three weeks from now, is their big competition and Tatiana's supposed to bring her A-game. What the hell am I supposed to do?!"
My eyes grew wide slightly, as Judith began to rant what she thought might solve the problem. But I couldn't listen. Coming up behind Judith, was no other person but Jubilee. I watched as he walked towards us and stood beside Judith, facing me. I had to tap Judith to stop talking, while she noticed Jubilee's presence.
"Who's the hunky pie beside me?" Judith whispered, that's if you'd call it that. I was so sure Jubilee was aware of what she was saying, but decided to pay no attention to it.
"What are you doing after school?" Jubilee asked in a low deep tone. I stared at Judith, who shrugged lightly, before staring back at Jubilee.
"Nothing," I dragged. Jeremiah didn't say we'd meet after school or anything, so I was pretty much free. "Why?"
"Where's your phone?" He asked, or should I say demanded. By the way, it was odd he was asking for my phone. I decided to swallow my confusion by digging my hands into my backpack and retrieving my phone.
I gave Jubilee my phone after I had unlocked it. I watched as he typed something in it. Soon, a phone began to ring and it was coming from Jubilee's school trousers.
"Here," He handed my phone back to me, same time he brought out his own phone from his trousers. I stared at my phone and saw his phone number in it. But when I lifted my head to question him about his actions, I realised it was too late. He was already striding up the stairs.
"What just happened?" I scrunched my nose.
"He got the hots for you, that's what happened." Replied Judith, nonchalantly.
"I don't think so," I said to her. "Maybe he just want to be friends with me. He had been...... Well...... Not welcoming to me the first time I came here. But recently, he had been nice. We fixed a drone together."
"Mhm," Judith hummed, clearly not buying any of it.
"Girl," I held her hand and began dragging her upstairs. "I need to take you to the class teacher's office. She'll be the one to introduce you to everyone."
I quickly took Judith to the class teacher's office, before heading to class. I walked over to my seat and sat in between Omonigho and Irene, who seemed to be talking about something.
".....He's definitely into you, stop trying to be in the dark." Irene groaned tirelessly.
"What are you talking about?" I smiled at both of them. I was beginning to grow in on them, they were good people.
"Dami," Irene dragged. "I think he likes Omonigho."
"You think," Omonigho specified. "Not know."
"Same thing!" Irene's voice turned high pitched. "He just walked in and gave you a box of snack. And don't forget he did smile at you."
Omonigho rolled her eyes a bit at that. "He gave Jessica a snack box too." She pointed at a girl seated at the back. Jessica was busy munching on a snack.
"But you're forgetting the key action," Irene said defiantly. "He didn't smile at her."
"Dami literally smiles at everyone!" Omonigho yelled out of annoyance. "And what does he smiling, as to do with anything!"
We all quickly turned after Omonigho's out burst, to see Dami and Jeremiah staring back at us. The whole class were practically staring at us. It seemed Jeremiah and Dami were in the middle of a conversation, but stopped when they heard Omonigho's out burst comments.
Dami looked straight at Omonigho, then genuinely gave her a close lip smile.
"Yup," I declared as the three of us turned to face the front of the class. "I think Irene's right."
"Not you too," Omonigho whined in unbelieve. I chuckled at her, then shrugged out of habit. Teasing Omonigho, was fun. The door to the classroom opened slowly and in walked the class teacher and Judith.
"What the___" We all turned to see Femi, standing and glaring straight at Judith. I smiled inwardly, Anyone that could put Femi in his place, was Judith.
"What is it, Femi?" The class teacher decided to ask.
"N-Nothing," Femi stuttered in return. I watched as he looked away from Judith, feeling a bit confused himself.
"Then please, have your seat." She demanded. Femi had no choice but to abide. He took his seat, while the class teacher went into introducing Judith.
"Why are we suddenly having new kids this term?" Questioned Irene, beside me.
I shook my head sideways. "Her's different."
"Kindly introduce yourself dear," The class teacher subtly moved Judith forward.
"Hi everyone, I'm Judith. I'm currently under the care of Mr and Mrs Ukeme, whom happened to be my best friend, Uyai's parents." She introduced with a charming smile.
"She's your sister's friend?" Asked Omonigho.
"Best friend," I clarified. "And yes."
"Wow," Irene said, already feeling pity and glaring at Femi.
"So you're aware of T's sister?" Asked Jaja, the notorious boy in our class.
"Yes," Judith breathed out, moving into act mode. "We were best friends, but someone decided to bully her very existence, forcing her to kill herself."
God, she was good.
The class teacher placed a hand on Judith's upper arm. "Come have your seat."
There was a free space behind my seat. Judith walked and sat at the edge, gaining herself two new seat partners.
"Hi I'm Irene," Irene Omonigho and I, turned to face Judith, same time the teacher walked out of the classroom. "T's best friend. And that's Omonigho, also T's best friend." I knew Judith wanted to scoff badly and was trying so hard to contain it.
"Nice to meet you," She gave a fake smile. "I'm Uyai's best friend." I wouldn't blame her, we all felt rich kids were all spoilt brats. Soon, she'd realise that majority of the students here, were actually pretty friendly, irrespective of their spoilt behavior.
I got up and announced to the girls, "I need to use the female restroom."
I squeezed my way out of the seat, then headed straight for the classroom door. My phone buzz inside my skirt pocket, almost reaching the classroom door.
I groaned and stopped, so I could retrieve my phone. I unlocked it using the finger print then gaze on the message notification.
"Oh my God!" I screamed out of shock, upon seeing the content of the message. My fingers began to shake cause of the sudden fright, making my phone to slip from my hands and land on the floor.
Eddy : Yay, I updated today! Good for me!
Bullying is bad guys. I wasn't bullied in my secondary school for any reason, so I don't know how it feels.
But there was this girl during my sec sch. Sometimes I do pity her, cause she wasn't quite intelligent and average looking too. So guys, especially guys! And those mean super 'I know it all' kind of girls, made fun of her.
And it couldn't help cause she was also a cry baby. So my clique and I, decided that she seat with us in the beginning of Ss 3, which minimized the hateful comments coming her way.
Not to lie, she was a pain in the ass to me cause she was quite slow, especially when I was teaching her maths and accounting - Though I really hated accounting, so you could see my pain. And since I was quick to anger, I tend to yell and insult her. (Yh, I sounded like a bully myself).
But then I learned to be patient with her and made her remaining days in secondary school to be fun! Not party type of fun though. Who born me well? My parents would just kill me.
I don't even know the meaning of my rants, but you get the gist. Only God knew how lonely that girl felt before my friends and I decided to intervene.

With that said, what do you think about this chapter?
Most importantly, what was on Uyai's phone?!
