Avery was driving as Rick was trying to reach someone in Atlanta on the radio.

" Broadcasting on emergency channel....will be approaching Alana on Highway 85, anybody reads please respond.......hello.....hello, can anybody hear my voice? Anybody out there? If anybody hears me, please respond.....hello, can you hear my voice? " Rick said into the radio " Can you hear my voice? If anybody reads please respond, broadcasting on emergency channel, will be approaching Atlanta on Highway 85, if anybody reads please respond ".

Rick sighed as the radio cut off.

" Well, that was a bust " every scoffed.

Avery parked at a house to get more gas as Rick reached over and pulled down the shader and pulled at photo out.

" That your son and wife? " Avery asked.

" Yeah " Rick nodded.

" Don't worry, we'll find them " Avery reassured and Rick nodded before grabbing the duffle full of guns and ammo and got out of the car as Avery did the same.

They walked up to the house.

" Hello, police officer out here " Rick called out " Can we borrow some gas? ".

Rick handed the gas container to Avery before walking up to the porch and began to look through the door window as he knocked on it and got no answer before walking over to a window and looked through and saw a man and a woman dead with a gun shot to their heads, he sighed before walking down the porch.

" Anyone there? " Avery asked.

" No, there dead " Rick said shakily as he walked towards her and the blonde put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

" Let's check the back " Avery suggested to rick, who nodded and followed her behind the house.

They saw a car there and Rick rushed over to it and checked it, when suddenly Avery heard a noise and looked to her right a saw a horse. 

" Rick " Avery called.

" what is it? " Rick said as he walked up to her.

" I think I just found us a ride to Atlanta " Avery smirked as she gestured towards the horse.

" I knew there was a reason, I brought you along " Rick smiled. 

Avery gave him a playful glare.

Avery and Rick arrived in the city of Atlanta on the horses back, Rick sat in front as Avery sat behind him with the bag of ammo strapped to her back.

" It's deserted " Avery said as they passed a run down bus, suddenly the horse squealed as it stood on two legs and Rick calmed it down. 

" Rick...walkers " Avery warned, when she noticed two walkers making there way over to them.

" It's okay, it's only a few...nothing we can't outrun " Rick reassured as they trotted away into another street and saw a big mechanical tang with a dead man on it.

" Well.....that's unsettling " Avery commented as they moved away from the tank.

" Do you hear that? " Rick asked his companion.

" Yeah....is that a helicopter? " Avery nodded, Rick wiped the reigns around the horses neck causing the horse to run faster and went into another street as Rick looked up in the sky.

" Walkers...there's a fucking heard of walkers " Avery exclaimed and Rick quickly turned the horse around making it run faster as the heard of walkers began to chase them and they quickly stopped, when they saw another heard of walkers in front of them.

" Oh shit/Fuck " Avery and Rick cursed as Rick turned the horse around and tried to get away but they were surrounded by walkers that were trying to grabbed the two eventually the walkers pulled Avery and Rick to the ground.

The duffle bag fell off of Avery's shoulders as they landed on the floor with a groan, they looked up and saw that walkers were devouring the horse as the animal cried out.

" Fuck " Avery cursed as she kicked a walker off of her, Rick tried to get the duffle bag but looked up and saw more walkers. 

" Under the tank " Rick yelled at Avery as she followed him under the tank, Avery grunted as she kicked a walker off of her foot and she crawled faster, she and Rick gasped, when they saw that walkers in front of the tank had kneeled down and began to crawl under the tank, Rick got out his gun and began to shot the walkers behind them as Avery got out her gun and shot at the walkers in front of them. 

Avery gun jammed, which meant she was out of bullets and she looked up and noticed that the hatch to the inside of the tank was open.

" Rick, quick up here " Avery yelled at the man as she quickly climbed into the tank, helping Rick up before closing the hatch " I thought, we were going to die for a minute there " Avery panted as she and Rick leaned against the wall and caught their breaths.

Rick looked and saw a dead military man besides him and grabbed the gun off of his vest and suddenly the man started groaning and Rick quickly shot him before holding his ears as they began to ring and Avery quickly came over to him worried as she called his name.

Avery stood up and climbed to the hatch above her and opened it and looked and saw the duffle bag on the ground with walkers surrounding it and she sighed in frustration before quickly closing the hatch before the walkers that climbed on top of the tank got to her.

" Are you okay? " Avery asked Rick.

" I'm fine, are you okay? " Rick nodded.

" Yeah " Avery smiled reassuringly at the older man.

Suddenly they heard a static sound coming from the radio behind them and they looked at each before looking at the radio.

" Hey, you two dumbasses......you two in the tank....the man and the girl, cozy in there? " a mans voice said from the radio.

Rick and Avery glanced at each in shock.
