First Pov

Finally, once everyone crossed the finish line midnight took to the stage to announce the second round of the sports festival.

"Know let's go over the ranking sal we?!" On the screens, they show us the rankings and also show our faces. Starting with first place; Deku, me, todoroki, bakugo, and everyone else behind us. After that midnight tells us only 42 people will device to the next round. The screen goes back to the lotto as it spins getting everyone excited.

"Prepare yourself for this!!" the screen stops and shows a cavalry battle.

"Cavalry battle? I suck at those." Denki wines in annoyance beside me. 

"Relax I'm sure it will be fine," I reassure him patting his shoulder. Midnight goes on to yet again explain what we have to do.

" The participants will form a team of two to three people if they see fit. in theory there the same as a regular playground game but there is one difference. Each player has been assigned a value from the results of the obstacle course, It goes up by 5 from the last player to the first. The person assigned to first place is worth 10 million!!" I look in Deku's direction and I think I just saw his soul leave his body.

Oh god, that would have been me if I didn't let him be first, I kinda feel bad for him.

Midnight goes gone, "That's right it's a chance for the people at the bottom to over through the top!!"

Well, this proves my point about how competitive this whole festival is.

I sigh at the thought.

"All your teams will have a headband with your team's number on it, all you have to do is take it from the other teams. Stolen headbands have to be worn from the neck up and of course, you will have a time limit. You're allowed to use your quirks but if you purposely make a team fall I will slap you with a red card!! you have 15 minutes to make a team!" 

This...

This is going to be one hell of a ride!

But who do team up with?

As I think, Hagakure and Jiro walk up to me.

"Heyy wanna team up y/n?" Hagakure asks with excitement in her voice.

"yeah, that would be great actually, you in Jiro?"

"well yeah of course, but what's your plan?"

"Well, I have more than enough points for us to pass and I'm tired from the last round so let's stay on defense."

As soon as we are done talking midnight calls everyone to get their headbands. I go up to the stage to get ours. I sat on top with Jiro in the back for support and hagakure in front to keep a look out all while I fight people off. The second round started not long after.

"Now that all the teams are ready let's have one final countdown!

let the cavalry battle BEGIN!!!"

As soon as it started Deku was chasted like a wanted criminal, my team focused on trying to not get our headband taken. It was no easy feat people came out of know where trying to seal my headband I would quickly doge and land a blow to them sealing their headband and making a run for it.

"Hey y/n why don't we try to take Deku's?" Jiro asks as she sends her voice wave at the people trying to attack me from behind.

"Hell why not!" I yell as she makes a voice wave out of my voice.

 We make our way over, i see su's team attacking Deku. I almost get cot my su's tongue, I dodge and sent a roar their way. I quickly jump in after my roar grabbing their headband and I start falling Jiro quickly grabs me by my foot and yanks me back on top. 

Then I got an amazing idea.

"Guys stop moving I have an idea!"

They stop and look up at me, I start eating people's quirk energy that was around us. I ate and ate till everyone even remotely close to my team got their quirk energy eaten. They all dropped like flies unable to move, we toke our time picking up their headbands. I can hear present mic's loud yell from the speaker.

"Did you see that folks! Y/n Acnologia ate up all those students' quirk energy!! what a powerful move!! and that's not even the tip of the iceberg of what her quirk can do!"

Then Aizawa comments on my quirk.

"Y/n Acnologia's quirk is part of dragon slayer arts and a rare one indeed. The move she just made is a common ability all people with dragon slayer quirks can do."

After I got all the headbands from the people on the floor the timer went off. I sigh in relief and get off Hagakure and Jiro. 

"At the times up!! Now let's look at the ranking!! coming in first place team Ancolgia!!!! The second-place team todoroki! third place is team bakugo and in four place is team midoriya! and last is team shinso! these teams will advance to the next round!! Now we will take a break." As soon as we heard we came in first me, Jiro, and hagakure yell a victory cry.

"Winning never flit better!!" I yell.

"I know right, who would have thought we would come in first place!!" Jiro adds.

"Come on let's go have lunch!" hagakure cheers. We agree and head to the lunchroom.

After lunch, we return to the arena, and present mic gives us a rundown of what the next round will be. He tells us that we will be having one on one fights and whoever wins get to go to the next round. It will repeat up to the last fight. Midnight then continues where present mic left off.

"We will be drawing lots to make the matches, after this we will be doing some optional games for all students or you can prepare for your match!"

Out of nowhere, people withdraw from the next round for their own reasons. I pay it no mind as midnight then make us draw lots and then relieve who we are up against.

Tokoyami vs momo

Ashido vs Aoyama

Shinso vs midoriya

Todoroki vs sero

Uraraka vs bakugo

Ida vs Hatsune? who's that again?

Denki vs .. me

Well, that's an interesting match-up.

I thought as I made my way to my class setting room for the sports festival. I walk in and take a seat next to su and Jiro.

I sat back and watched my friends fight each other and the next thing I know after one more match I have to fight Denki.

"All I have to say is that todoroki went overboard fighting sero he must have had pent-up anger or something to be able to pull that off in one move," I tell Jiro.

 "yeah, man no kid."

"The next match is Deki kaminari vs Y/n acnologia!" present mic yells.

"A shit I gotta go!"

"Keck his ass y/n!!" Jiro yells after me.

I run to the arena and wait for present mic to finish announcing Denki and wait for him to announce me onto the arena. I walk into the arena and the horn goes off signing that we can start. Denki turns to me with a smug look on his face as he asks me.

"Wanna grab something to eat after his so that I can comfort you for your loss. Don't feel too bad it will be over in two seconds honey!"

he starts charging up you could say, I could tell he was planning a full sal knockout hit.

"I admire your determination and you giving it your all but, I'm going to win this."

"It looks like y/n is taking on kaminari's attack head-on!" present mic yells.

I don't move as the lighting strikes me, I start sucking and eating the lighting attack until theirs no more left.

"HUH WHAT THE HELL??!" denki yells.

"She at the lighting attack!! I thought dragon slayers could only eat their element?!" present mic questions Aizawa yet again answers his question yet explaining it to everyone.

"y/n Acnologia's quirk is called dragon king which is a type of dragon slayer art. For her, she can eat any form of quirk energy and attack quirks are the easiest to eat."

I burb getting ready to attack. 

I kinda feel bad about doing this but it has to be done.

"Dragon slayer king roar!!"

Denki goes flying out of bounds.

midnight raises her whip saying, "Denki is KO'd and out of bounds y/n wins!!"

I jump in the air in happiness then make my way over to Denki and help him get on the stretcher. By the time I get back to where we all are seting my phone goes off, I look at the caller id Mio was calling.

Oh shit, I forgot she came to chare me on.

I answer.

"hey"

"girl what was amazing!!! I can't believe you won!!"

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean, you thought I would win!?"

"no no, I'm only teasing you."

I scoff at her comment.

"Hey where are you right now, I'll come set with you."

"I can see you if you look to your left I'm not that far away."

I look over and see her waving to me, I get up and leave my class and make my way over to her. I walk up some steps till I'm next to her. I set next to her as she fills me in on what I missed. Apparently they've already gone to the next set of rounds. I lean back in my seat and watch everything unfold as Mio chats about my classmates and what they could have done differently and who would have been better to see fight each other. For as long as I've known Mio she's always been this way, jumping at any opportunity to learn and analyze stuff. 

She reminds me of Deku in that way. 

I laugh at my thought as I spot a familiar black hoody with a few blue strands of hair pocking out of the hood.
