Thalia is constantly told how expressive her face is and she can thank her big brown eyes for that. Who knew eyes like that could hold so much emotion?

Thalia is someone with a big presence and an even bigger personality. It is without question you will know when Thalia Trueman walks into a room. She never announces herself, she is never announced but her presence is just so prominent that she can change the entire energy of the room just by walking in.

She's not a bad girl. Thalia doesn't have a bad bone in her body if she's honest, although she will occasionally make good on pretending to if it will benefit her or is necessary to scare off some less than welcome people. Thalia truly has a heart of gold and she only wants to help and support those around her especially those nearest and dearest to her heart.

Thalia is fiercely independent and has been most of her life she doesn't like having to rely on others it makes her feel as if she's out of control and Thalia needs to have control over her life. She's firm in her beliefs, her routine and how she does things dependency would only disrupt the order she has going. She's big on 'if it isn't broken don't fix it.'

Protectiveness is a quality people don't typically expect from Thalia but as mentioned previously Thalia loves to shock those around her. As calm as Thalia calms to be she knows deep down that her temper cannot be tamed. It's a flaw she's lived with for her whole life and a quality that has always been prominent in her character no matter how hard she tries to hide it. She was the eldest of three daughters and practically in charge of teaching her younger sisters how to not be shitty people which may not seem too hard a task but when you're six years old you don't really know too much about how to not be shitty yourself.

Thalia's parents had quite a toxic relationship with her father being quite neglectful towards the family, staying as far away from the home as he could for as long as he could or pocketing money to keep for himself instead of contributing towards household bills. There were many nights Thalia spent comforting her crying sisters as her parents would fight.

But Thalia was only a child herself she didn't know how to comfort people, she didn't even know how to comfort herself so she only thing she could possibly think of doing was turning the tv up really loud in a attempt to drown out the yelling. As she grew older she understood the situation better and used that to her advantage in comforting her younger sisters.

The night her father left a twelve year old Thalia stood strong by her mother's side as she threw him out. Deep down Thalia knows that if she wasn't there her mother wouldn't have had the courage to send him away. Thalia was also there hugging her crying mother after they had finally made sure her father had in fact left.

Sometimes Thalia even now as a grown woman can't understand what happened or why it happened but what she does remember, what she does understand were her emotions and her actions. It breaks her heart to think of herself as this broken little girl taking so much responsibility, having to be so strong for everyone but herself. When she thinks back on it now she realises if she was only being strong for herself she couldn't have done it but the idea of keeping her mother and her sisters safe and happy? That empowered her to push through how she felt in that time.

Thalia spent a lot of her teen years in and out of relationships she isn't even sure now how a healthy relationship looks never mind back then so she inevitably got herself hurt time and time again. The concept of true love has always been something Thalia clung onto for hope, for a reason to keep fighting and to keep going Thalia craved to feel what it was like to be in love, to have her heartbeat out of her chest, to sneak secret kisses in crowded rooms not caring who would see.

Thalia Trueman is a hopeless romantic who isn't even sure what love should be, she's not sure she'll ever know if she's being completely honest with herself but as she always has done she dares to daydream.
