" Dad, Dad, Where are we going? " Mira asked frantically as her father Marcus Kane down the hall and in front of a drop ship, which had a guard in front of it.

" Listen to me, Bird " Kane said as he grabbed his daughters face " The prisoners of the ark are being sent to the ground and your going with them ".

" No....no, I'm not leaving without you " Mira cried as Kane's hands drifted from her face to her biceps.

" Yes, you are " Kane said sternly and motioned at the young guard causing him to walk over " This is Bellamy Blake.....I'm sneaking him on the ship with you.....he's promised to take care of you ".

Mira looked at the tan man next to her, who smiled at her reassuringly.

" I love you, daddy " Mira sighed keeping her tears in.

" I love you too, bird " Kane smiled as he leaned forward and kissed his daughters head softly " Time to go " he smiled sadly and helped Mira on the ship, who looked at him before disappearing into the ship and the man looked at Bellamy " Take care of her for me ".

" I will, sir " Bellamy nodded before climbing into the ship and saw Mira biting her nail and he walked to her and pulled her hand from her mouth " It's going to be okay, I'm not going to let anything happen to you ".

Mira remind Bellamy of Octavia and that made him want to protect her even more.

Mira nodded with a teary smiled.

" Come on, we should hide in the Bottom of the drop ship " Bellamy told her as he opened the hatch and climbed down to the bottom of the ship with Mira behind him, who closed the latch behind her.

Bellamy helped Mira up after the ship had stopped moving.

" Are you okay? " Bellamy asked worried.

" I'm fine " Mira breathed out as she pushed her hair out of her face before everyone from the upper level climbed down.

" stop " Clarke said as she climbed down to see Bellamy trying to push back the people, she pushed through everyone and glared at Bellamy " The air could be toxic ".

" If the airs toxic, we're all dead anyways " Bellamy replied and was about to open the doors.

" Bellamy " a girl called out before jumping off the ladder and pushed through everyone.

" My god, look how big you are " Bellamy smiled at his sister and Octavia hugged him.

" What the hell are you wearing? A guards uniform? " Octavia looked her brothers clothes.

" I borrowed it to get me and Mira on the drop ship, someone's got to keep an eye on you " Bellmay replied.

" Mira? Who's Mira? " Octavia questioned.

" That would be me " Mira smiled awkwardly and Octavia smiled back.

" Where's your wrist band? " Clarke demanded interrupting the three.

" Do you mind? I haven't seen my brother in a year and I'm getting acquainted with my new friend " Octavia glared at Clarke.

" No one has a brother " someone yelled and more yells started.

" That's Octavia Blake, the girl they found hidden in the floor ".

Octavia glared and tried to lunge at them but was stopped by her brother.

" Octavia, no....let's give them something else to remember you by " Bellamy told his sister as her let her go.

" Yeah? Like what? " Octavia scoffed.

" Like being the first person on the ground in a hundred years " Bellamy smiled at his sister, who gleamed as Mira smiled at the two before pulling the leaver to the drop ship door and it opened and everyone watched in awe as sunlight caked their faces and they saw trees in front of them as the breeze brushed against their faces.

Everyone watched as Octavia slowly walked down the drop ship and paused before she jumped onto the ground.

Octavia threw her hands up and yelled " We're back bitches ".

Everyone began to cheer and head to the ground with her, Bellamy smiled and pulled Mira with him to Octavia, who smiled wildly and hit his chest before grabbing Mira's hand and pulled her with her.

Mira was standing with Octavia and Bellamy, when they heard a commotion.

" Relax.....we're just trying to figure out, where we are " Wells defended.

" We're on the ground.....is that not good enough for you? " Bellamy spoke causing everyone to looked at him, Octavia and Mira.

Mira knew Clarke, they were friends through their parents but lost contact after Jake Griffin died and Wells, Mira didn't know him to well not that she wanted to anyways.

" We need to find mount weather, you heard my fathers message, that has to be our first priority " Wells told him as he walked closer Clarke not far behind.

" Screw your father " Octavia scoffed as she glared at Wells and Clarke " What? You think your in change here? You and your little Princess ".

" Do you think we care, who's in charge? We need to get to mount weather, not because the chancellor said so because the longer we wait the hungrier we'll get and the harder this will be "  Clarke argued frantically " How long do you think, we'll last without those supplies?.....we're looking at a 20 mile trek, okay? So if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave.....now ".

" I got a better idea, you two....find it for us " Bellamy replied " Let the privileged do the hard work for a change ".

Everyone shouted in agreement.

" You're not listening.....we all need to go " Wells argued sternly but was pushed by Murphy.

" Look at this everybody, chancellor of earth " Murphy taunted as people around him laughed.

" You think that's funny? " Wells glared at him.

Murphy looked at him before his prosthetic was kicked from under him causing him to fall and Clarke tried to help but was held back.

" No but that was " Murphy shrugged with a smirk as Wells slowly stood and get in a defensive stance.

Suddenly Finn Collins jumped in front of them causing everyone to look startled.

" Kids got one leg, how about you wait until it's a fair fight " Finn told Murphy.

Mira walked over to Murphy and pulled him away as Octavia walked over to Finn.

After Mira had calmed Murphy down she heard Clarke and Finn talking about going to mount weather.

" Four of us, can we go now " Finn said as he held onto Monty and Jasper

" Make it five " Mira smiled at them as she walked over.

" Sounds like a party.....make it six " Octavia gleamed as she clapped her hands and walked to them.

" Hey? What the hell are you two doing? " Bellamy snapped at Mira and Octavia.

" Going for a walk " Mira shrugged.

" Hey....were you trying to take this off? " Clarke questioned as she grabbed Finn's wrist.

" Yeah, so " Finn shrugged.

" So this wrist band transmits your vital signs to the ark, take it off and they'll think your dead " Clarke snapped as she dropped Finn's wrist.

" Should I care? " Finn shrugged in an unbothered matter.

" Well, I don't know do you want the people you love to think you're dead? " Clarke questioned sarcastically " Do you want them to follow you down here in two months? Because they won't, if they think we're dying ".

Everyone was silent.

" Okay, now let's go " Clarke demanded before walking and the other follow.

Mira and Octavia looked at Bellamy, who looked at them with a soft look before nodding with a sigh
" Go on ".

Mira smiled wildly as Octavia kissed Bellamy's cheek before grabbing Mira's and dragged her to catch up with the others.

" Before you get any idea, Finn's mine " Octavia said to Clarke.

" Before you get any ideas, I don't care " Clarke scoffed and Octavia drifted off and over to Finn.

After a while of walking with the girl in the front, Clarke looked at Mira " How'd you get here? ". 

" My dad snuck me on the drop ship " Mira replied.

" I'm sorry " Clarke sighed.

" For what? " Mira asked in confusion.

" For cutting you off after my dad died " Clarke told her.

" It's fine.....I would of done the same if it was my dad " Mira reassured as she grabbed Clarke's hand.

Clarke dropped Mira's hand and then turned to the others, who were talking " Hey guys could you try and keep up ". 

" Come on, Clarke.....how do you block all this out? " Finn replied as he and the other walked over to them. 

" Well, it's simple....I wonder, why we haven't see any animals? " Clarke defended as Finn stopped in front of her " Maybe, it's because there are none....maybe, we've already been exposed to enough radiation to kill us, sure is pretty though.....come on " she finished and continued walking.

" Someone should slip her some poison sumac " Octavia scoffed with an annoyed tone.

Jasper laughed as they continued walking.

" I gotta know, what you two did to get busted " Finn asked Monty and Jasper.

" Sumac's not the only herb in the garden, if you know what I mean " Monty replied.

" Someone forget to replace, what we took " Jasper added.

" Someone's apologised like a thousand times " Monty scoffed at Jasper.

" How about you, Octavia? What'd they get you for? " Jasper asked the girl.

Octavia was silent before she answered " Being born ".

They watched as she ran further ahead.

" that is so not game " Monty laughed and jasper hit him as they all walked to the girls, who were crouched and they saw Clarke point at a deer.

" No animals, huh? " Finn smiled before he walked forward and stepped on a twig causing the animal to flinch and look at them and they gasped, when the deer turned to reveal a mutated head before it ran off.

" You know what I'd like to know? " Finn said as they all continued to walk through the forest " Why send us down today, after 97 years? What changed? ".

" Who cares " Mira scoffed.

" Exactly.....I woke up rotting in a cell and now, I'm spinning in a forest " Octavia added before she spun around a tree.

" Maybe they found something on a satellite, you know like an old weather satellite or—" Monty said as everyone walked passed Octavia.

" It wasn't a satellite " Clarke interrupted " The ark is dying " That made everyone stop and look at the blonde as she continued " At the current population level there's roughly three months left of life support, maybe four now that we're gone ".

" So that was the secret they locked you up to keep? Why they kept you in solitary? Floated your old man " Finn said as Everyone began following Clarke.

" My father was the engineer, who discovered the flaw....He thought that people had a right to know......" Clarke replied " the council disagreed, my mother disagreed.....they were afraid it would cause a panic, we were gonna go public anyway, when Wells......".

" What? Turned in your dad? " Monty questioned and they all looked at each other.

Mira also knew about this but the reason she haven't been arrested was because her father a close adviser to chancellor Jaha.

" Anyway, the guard showed up before we could....." Clarke continued " That's why today.....that's why it was worth the risk....even if we all died all died, they've bought themselves more time ".

" They're gonna kill more people, aren't they? " Monty said in realisation and Clarke didn't answer.

" Good " Octavia said as she jumped off a small ledge and onto the ground " After what they did to me, I say float 'em all ".

Octavia's sentence made them stop as the girl grabbed Mira's hand and pulled her forward and towards a lake in the distance that they had seen.

" You don't mean that " Jasper defended as he followed her.

Octavia and Mira smirked at each other before stripping to their underwear.

" Oh man, I love earth " Jasper laughed causing the others to look and see the girls throw their clothes to the ground before walking to the ledge of the cliff.

" Octavia, Mira? What the hell are you doing? " Clarke yelled at them, while the boys drooled over the girls half naked bodies.

" Having fun....you should try it sometime, Clarke " Mira smirked before she pushed Octavia into the lake below causing her to squeal in surprise before Mira jumped in after her.

They all ran to the ledge and saw the girls in the water.

" Octavia.....Mira, we can't swim " Monty yelled. 

" No, but we can stand " Octavia replied before the two girls stood causing the water to drip down their bodies.

" Wait, there's not supposed to be a river here " Clarke said.

" Well there is, so take you damn clothes off " Finn replied as he and the rest of the guys took off their clothes.

Jasper stopped, when he saw rippling water heading towards the girls " Get out the water, girls ".

The girls looked confused as they turned behind them and saw something heading towards them, Mira shoved Octavia closer to shore before she yelped, when she was pulled under water and pulled back up before she was pulled down again.

" What the hell is that? " Monty yelled as they watched their friend being drowned.

" Who cares? Just help her " Octavia yelled.

Clarke stopped Finn, who was about to jump in the water.

" No wait, if we just distract it, it might let her go, help me " Clarke said frantically as she kneeled in front of a rock, Finn and Monty helped her push a rock into the water.

Mira felt the monster flee and she quickly climbed to shore as Jasper helped her up before they laid on the rocks trying to catch their breath.

Clarke ran over and saw the bleeding wound on Mira's upper thigh and she ripped Jasper's shirt and tied it around the girls wound.

" Thank you " Mira smiled appreciatively wrapping an arm around Jasper as she kissed his cheek.

" Note to self.....next time, save the girl " Monty chucked as he patted Jasper's shoulder causing everyone to laugh as Mira rested her head on Jasper's shoulder.

it was the next morning and the group were back at the lake as Finn tested the rope made of vines to check it was stable.

" You wanted to go first, now quite staling, you pussy " Mira yelled at Finn.

" mount weather awaits " Clarke added.

" Just hang on until the apogee and you'll be fine " Jasper assured him.

" The Apache? Like the Indians right? " Finn looked at him.

" Apogee not Apache " Jasper corrected.

" He knows, he just staling " Mira rolled her eyes.

" I am not " Finn defended.

" Today, Finn " Clarke demanded.

" Aye, aye captain " Finn saluted and looked at Jasper " See you on the other side ".

Finn leaned back but was stopped by the goggled boy next to him.

" Wait " Jasper stopped him.

" What? " Finn said in confusion.

" Let me " Jasper said as Finn looked at him unsure " I Can do it ". 

Finn nodded and handed the vines to Jasper, who grabbed it.

" I knew there was a badass in there somewhere " Finn chuckled as he slapped the boys chest playfully and watched as he took a deep breath " hey, it's okay to be afraid, Jasper....the trick is fight it " Finn assured Jasper.

" See you on the other side " Jasper smiled before he swung across the lake and landed on the other side.

The others ran closer to the edge as Jasper stood and smiled at them.

" WE ARE APOGEE " Jasper cheered causing the others to cheer in excitement as well.

Finn turned to Clarke and held the vine too her " Your turn, princess ".

" Come on, Clarke....you got this " Jasper encouraged the blonde.

" We did it " Jasper yelled causing the group to look at him and saw that he was holding up a sign that said mount weather on it " Mount weather.....whooo ".

They all cheered at the boy but suddenly Jasper was hit by a spear and thrown back into the trees behind him.

" Jasper...Jasper " Mira yelled in panic but she was pulled down by Finn and the others into the rocks below.

They could hear someone running through the trees.

" We're not alone " Clarke gasped.
