"I'm utterly flabbergasted by how Jenna Coleman suddenly became the talk of the school. Her popularity status rose faster than a speeding bullet." Shawn said as he stared at the group of girls and few boys talking a scant feet away.

I close my locker before spinning around to look for myself. Jenna stood in the middle of the group in front of her locker and giggles at every joke one of her peers said. She looked comfortable and felicitous than ever.

It had been four days since Halloween had passed. Since that day, Jenna became the new popular girl. It was mysterious how all the students suddenly want to be friends with her. Jenna had accepted them and currently has a huge clique of friends. She didn't bother to remember me - the first guy to ever be friends with her. She had become very distant and during English classes, she begged me to allow her to swap with another Kaila so she could close to her friend. I guess she doesn't need me anymore. It seems popularity blinded her from recollecting what she was then.

Though, nothing has changed about her. She's still the shy, sweet girl I know. It's obvious she helps tutor her friends because they spend majority of their time in the library. Jenna is a great friend and her peers will positively benefit from her.

"Hey guys." Eric said as he drew near. His magnate - Jupiter - was right beside him. They're still going strong and I'm glad Eric had finally terminated his womanising character.

I didn't see Daisy behind them until she removes her earphones and took off the hoodie. "Hey."

"Hi."

When I returned home last night, my parents surprising talked to me like nothing happened the past few days. They complimented on how proud they were of me for sticking with Daisy and taking all my responsibilities.

Apparently, Daisy had come while I was practicing and explained what happened at the party. She also enlightened them how I stayed by her side and go to counselling classes together. I appreciated all the she did for me and that alone boost my respect for her.

"Thanks for bringing back the trust in my parents." I said.

She rolled her eyes and gave a small smile. "Don't thank me. Remember I was just playing a good Samaritan."

I giggled and shook my head. "We good?"

"Of course we are."

"What's happening? Why the thanks and surely, the seductive laugh?" Shawn wiggled his eyebrows at us.

"It reminds me of the time Candy claimed Zack to be her boyfriend which was hilarious." Eric cackled and Jupiter followed suit.

"Or the time they fought like cat and dog..." Jupiter never finished the line.

"You motherfucking foolish slut!" A feminine voice stormed our conversation.

Her high pitched voice caught the attention of the rummaging students and they halted to watch with interest.

It was Naomi, a classmate of ours. Two other girls, Vanessa and Taylor were right behind her. They look like three angry bulls that just saw the red flag and about to attack it. Their nostrils flared and their invisible hooves dug into the floor.

"Excuse me?" Daisy frowned when she realised the insult was directed to her.

"You heard me right, bitch! You think you can just do whatever the fuck you want? You think you can mess things up and play the victim?" Naomi bellowed.

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Daisy questioned. I was confused about what was going on.

"You know damn right what she's talking about, you shameless bitch. You did exactly what you did to us." Taylor added.

Daisy gave a soft chuckle and folded her arms. "Firstly, I don't need you guys to all me a shameless bitch. I'm a bitch and I'm proudly shameless. Secondly, I don't give a shit what you're talking about. You want to fight? Talk!"

"Fine! You want to act innocent? Let me remind you. You forced my boyfriend to sleep with you." Naomi angrily gritted out.

"And you slept with mine a few months ago which eventually led to our separation." Vanessa said. The look on their face was that of someone who won a lottery. They were happy to expose her.

Daisy huffed, "please I don't have your time. I've to leave..."

Naomi stepped forward. "You're going nowhere until we finish this conversation."

Daisy had a bad reputation for sleeping around with guys but I think this has exceeded her limit. It has being a long time since I saw her with Keith. In fact, just two days ago, I saw him with his new girlfriend.

Daisy raised her hands and sighed in annoyance. The situation was becoming overwhelming for her. The small crowd was expanding which was making matters worse.

"Fine. What do you want?" Daisy questioned in frustration.

"What's happening here?" Maya interrupted. She had just arrived with Leslie right beside her.

"Hey Maya. We were just watching a new TV serial," Eric casually replied.

Naomi says, "You're going to pay for sleeping with my boyfriend! If you don't value others then you'll get what you deserve."

"I never slept with your boyfriend. I don't even know who he is so stop seeking attention and attack your boyfriend instead. He's just using me to hide his side chick from you."

The three girls laughed hysterically at Daisy who seemed unbothered.

"You're just lying. You met him at a party few weeks ago. You gave him too much alcohol and seduced him. You had sex in the restroom."

I almost chuckle at what Naomi said. It was from that moment I knew she was lied to. Her scumbag of a boyfriend had probably cheated on her with some girl and decided Daisy was the right shied to hide the identity of his side chick.

"Your boyfriend cheated on you with some girl and decided I was the right girl he could use to cover things up. Unfortunately, that wasn't me. Countless time, stupid girls approached me and claimed the same thing. The boys think I'm some heroine that always save their fake tale. Please go and search for the right girl."

"I don't believe you. My boyfriend said..."

Daisy cut in Naomi's line, "you trusted your boyfriend completely, right? You believe Whatever he said?"

"I do. He'd never lie to me. We had being dating for the past eight years. We grew up together and I know him so much more than he knows himself." Naomi was on the verge of tears. "You ruined everything."

"If that's what you chose to believe, then fine. All I know is just that you're the brainless one here."

I don't want to interfere but I think this is absolutely bullshit." I couldn't just stand and watch them exchange harsh words. This could lead to something worse.

Daisy flipped a hand. "Stay out of it, Zack."

"Don't you have a heart, Candy? Don't you feel sympathetic when you ruin a relationship? Why are you so merciless?" Taylor cried.

Daisy opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out. She blinked as she stared at the three girls with a melancholic look. Her tongue wet her lips unconsciously as she helplessly gaze at them and stay silent.

"You deserve nothing! You're a worthless whore just like your abusive boyfriend, Cole..."

What happened to Naomi next triggered a lot of gasp to erupt from the crowd. Daisy launched herself towards Naomi and knocked her off. Naomi fell hard on her back. Daisy took this opportunity to straddle Naomi and sent flying punches to her face. I immediately rushed to pull her off of Naomi who was screaming for help. Daisy reluctantly let go but her eyes were red like that of an angry wolf.

"Miss Coleman, Miss Turner, to the principal's office now!" Our Geography teacher commanded the moment he arrived.

Daisy shrugged me off, her chest heaves as she struggles to breath. She glared at me for a moment before leaving to the principal's office.

The sadness in her eyes caused a strange painful feeling to grip my heart in the most hardest way. Daisy is strong. Had always being strong. But sometimes, the boundaries of our strength would be limited. The guy Naomi mentioned clearly pissed her off. It was obvious this guy was close to her.

Who was Cole?
