"This is exactly every bit of my fantasy. Look at those long legs. I imagine them every night, wrapped around my tor..."
"Shut the fuck up!" Another boy interrupted Josh, a player from the football team who was narrating his explicit dreams about the cheerleaders.
It was supposed to be a full time practicing day for the upcoming football march but the boys were too distracted we couldn't achieve what we desired to do. During the two hour sports time, the cheerleaders decided it was a good idea to practice their cheerleading stuff in the stadium, where we happened to practice. For all the two hours, the girls practice while the boys decide to be the audience.
In their scandalous sports bra and ridiculously tight shorts, there's nothing left for the imagination. I don't really mind them training and practicing but when I saw little miss perfect aka Daisy, all I saw was red. The way she was dancing energetically seems dangerous for a pregnant woman in her first trimester.
My eyes were glued to her nonexistent tummy all the time because I was scared something would happen to her. My heart would leap whenever she jumped or back flipped. Her steps were eased, probably the best dancer among them but I was more invested in the safety of the baby. Her belly reminded me of fillet of soles.
Keith walked past me, intently brushing my shoulder on the way. "It's time I get my girl back,"
His greedy eyes wouldn't stop ogling Daisy and commenting dirty on her body. I was trying to keep my anger below the surface but Keith's annoying words were trying to blow up my mind.
He walked across the stadium towards the cheerleaders as they happily pack their stuff to leave. He stopped in front of Daisy, whose back was facing him. My eyes bored into him when he took Daisy's arm and pulled her against him, rubbing his hips against her backside.
A month ago, I wouldn't care less but now, even the slightest contact between Daisy and the opposite sex pissed me off. My hands clenched and my jaw tightened but I tried to conceal my irritation.
The only thing that stopped me from turning into a caveman was when Daisy gently pushed him away. I was several feet away from them so I can't hear their conversation.
Thump!
A round object hit me hard on the back before it fell on the hybrid grass surface of the stadium. I swirled around to find Eric grinning sheepishly at me.
"What are you staring at? Are you fucking thinking about Disneyland, like your barbie sister?" The corner of his lips quirked up.
I feel like punching him in the guts but I swallowed my anger.
"You haven't noticed, bruh? The good boy, Zack is technically fucking the bad girl behind closed doors. It's way too obvious." I glared daggers at Sam, a friend of mine.
"Oh shit. Candy is off limit once again."
I shouldn't be surprised at what I saw when I sneaked a glance at Daisy and Keith. Daisy flicked her the tail of her blonde which was packed in a ponytail in what I know to a conscious act, as Keith pulled her closer to him. The way he's whispering in her ears looks like a seductive gesture. My breath hitched in frustration bit there's nothing I can do about it.
I removed my helmet. "I'll see you later. I'm leaving."
I didn't wait for their response, I just took off to the locker room to find only a few players changing. I slowly remove my uniform before getting into the shower. With my eyes closed and my face turned to the warm shower, I started to think about the Coleman and how they're drastically changing my life.
Jenna was acting super nice and pleasant. She was finally opening up to me but what would she do if she finds out that I got her sister pregnant? I was instantly reminded of my supposed confrontation to my family. I haven't inform them or any of my friends. In fact, they know nothing about me sleeping with Daisy. The weekends was here, maybe I can use the opportunity to talk heart to heart with them at my grandmother's. We usually visit our grandmother at weekends.
I shut off the shower and wrung out my hair, then wrapped myself in a thick towel.
"You wouldn't believe what happened while you were in the shower, dude!" Eric mumbled the moment I got out of the shower. It's apparent he couldn't hold back his grin.
I hissed and refused to acknowledge him. But Eric isn't about to give up. He has always being sedulous and persistent and this one makes no difference.
"I'll snatch that towel if you wouldn't listen."
I sighed before I levelled him a cold glare. This wasn't going to stop him anyway. "What the fuck do you want?"
He grinned at his forfeit. "Candy just ditched Keith in the most embarrassing way. He tried to convince to take him back but instead, she kicked him in his guts!"
That sounded awful but he deserved it for being such a dick to everyone. A cold fervour plunged inside me in relief. Daisy had the right to date anyone she wants to but I can't let some loser take my place in my child's life. I think we need to find some time to discuss about important details like this together.
"You look like a dog with two tails, dude. I bet you're in seventh heaven," Eric mocked, his eyebrows wiggling naughtily at me.
"I'm leaving."
"Common, bruh! Stop trying to change the topic. Alright, we'll talk about it after I shower." He smacked me hard on my naked back but I said nothing.
I changed back to my attire and packed all my bits and bobs. It took Eric seven minutes to shower and get ready. School had already closed, so everywhere was crowded. Friday is the best day of the week. My friends and I usually hangout after school on Fridays.
We easily spot Maya thanks to her bright pink outfit. We frequently meet at my locker to discuss what step to take.
"Its being a while since we hang out, guys. Why don't we spend our time together at the park?" Maya said, after dismissing her large company of friends - exclusive her bestie, Leslie.
It had always being the six of us hanging out - Maya, Leslie, Eric, Shawn, me and sometimes Korbin but due to his tutorship lately, we couldn't spend time together.
"Zack darling, why don't you introduce your new friend to your other chums?"
I stiffened at the words. Daisy came into view, now dressed in her bad girl attire which comprises a pair of black shorts, a white tank top and her usual black leather jacket. Her hair looks damp in a rough way worn in a topknot. Jupiter stood next to her, wearing the same expression as her best friend.
"I'm sure your friends would love to meet me." She smirked before folding her arms in a challenging way.
"Hey. I'm sure you recognized me as the heartthrob of Maxwell High. I..."
"I don't need your fucking introduction," she interposed and flicked Eric a cold stare.
"Please, do not swear in my presence." Maya has the guts to say. Almost all the Maxwell High female students dislike Daisy, Maya included. Its not like I'm going to bail her when she gets in trouble with the bad girl.
"I'll stop swearing when pigs start flying." She didn't look into Maya's eyes, rather, she stared at me the whole time. But then, her eyes suddenly lit up before she fixed her eyes on Eric. "Are you Eric guy?"
Proudly, Eric spoke "yeah. I know you'll recognise me... Aw!"
He screamed in agony when she kneed him in the balls, just like the way she did to Keith, according to Eric's description. Pretty sure so many balls are in pain today. A smile pulled on Maya's face, even though her best friend is in torment. He deserves it for his stupid cockiness. The stares and giggles he's receiving from students isn't helping matters.
"What's that for?" Asked Leslie, in between chuckles.
"That's for being such a prick to my best friend. You either apologise and ask her out on a proper date or I'll kick your ass, right here, right now, in the presence of enough audience to spread the news around the world."
I said nothing as I watch this dramatic scene unfold. I was shook to the core when she revealed Eric's bad attempt to ask Jupiter out. Eric has never being on a date. As the heir to a billion dollar business, he wants to have fun before the time maturity strike in.
Eric's face is slowly turning red as he holds his crotch awkwardly to ease the pain. "I'm... so sorry..."
"It's okay. Daisy, you don't have it do this." Jupiter's eyes were filled with concern as she survey Eric's entire being.
"Its what he gets for trying to bully my best friend. We can be friends when you ask her out in a proper way."
Leslie's uncontrolled laughter finally subdued. "Frankly speaking, Eric actually asked her on a date?"
Daisy merely shrugged while Jupiter's cheeks slightly reddened.
"What do you want Daisy?" I casually questioned. If she's going to have my baby, she'll eventually meet my friends. Its better we stay friends before our secrets gets boosted.
"I was just introducing myself to your friends. I am Candy, a new friend of Zack, who happens to be my tutor - although we haven't started yet. This is my best friend, Jupiter."
"You don't have to introduce yourself to us, we know everything about you - for the past decade." Maya replied with a questioning brow up.
"Yet I know nothing about you. You look like this dude here," she stated, gesturing towards me. "I'mma say you're his sister or whatever."
I wouldn't be surprised if she suddenly realise that Donald Trump is the current President of the US. Both Maya and Leslie were flabbergasted.
"Wow. You really don't know who we are." Leslie said as she slowly shake her head, a bewildering look pinned on her face.
Eric finally overcomes his pain but stands in a gawky, strained way. "I'm sorry about what I did to you." He swiftly apologized to Jupiter.
"It's okay." She mumbled a reply.
Daisy clapped her hands. "Fantastic! We're on good terms now. Maybe sometimes, we can hang out together as friends."
She took a step closer to me. "I'm still grounded but by next week, I'll hopefully get my phone back."
I wanted to say something but because of the curious glances thrown our way, I kept it to myself and decided to change it to something different. "We'll talk about the tutorship next week to fix the timetable for the lessons and when it should be conducted."
She nodded her head in agreement. Daisy's stare wasn't intentionally cold like it had always being. There was a strange mobility I couldn't understand. Her eyes were sliding into focus as her head tilted to the side to look into his eyes. There was an undefined emotion in her eyes as she surveyed me. I couldn't comprehend what it is but it was there.
She's quick to avert her eyes but a new theory had already formed in my head about the mysterious bad girl; it wasn't just the piercing blue eyes, it was something more to it that caused a spark of interest in me to know more about her. I feel like there's a hidden connection between us but I blame it on the adoration I'm slowly developing for the baby inside her.
"Alright, see you soon. Jupiter?" It seems like she felt what I felt so she used Jupiter to hide it.
Jupiter, who was completely drawn to Eric finally looked up and nodded. She smiled, before they walked away.
"I strangely like her. For being truthful to herself in any situation." Maya said, her eyes gleaming with interest as we watch them go. Eric grumbled under his breath but said nothing.
It's unusual how Maya decided to take a sudden interest in Daisy and Eden adoring Jenna. Its better I start to crush my feelings for Jenna to make the situation equitable before its too late. My friends know about my feelings for Jenna but know nothing about my relationship with Daisy. I'm afraid they'll blurt out my forbidden feelings about Jenna to Daisy when we hang out. I just hope that it never happens.
